m April goes, I know I'm too old, but it's
still one of my all time favorite books. Harold and
the Purple Crayon is a book by Crockett Johnson about
a curious four year old boy who, with his purple crayon,

has the power to create a world of his own
simply by drawing it. Did you know? Harold and the
Purple Crayon will be adapted into a live action film
slated to release August second of this year. The film
stars Zachary Levi, lil Rel Howie, and Zoey Deschanel.

young performers, Molly Ringwalted Anthony Michael Hall after they rejected

some of his scripts in the mid eighties. When he
died in two thousand and nine, Hughes hadn't spoken to
either of either of them for over twenty years. Anthony
Michael Hall famously turned down the role of Ducky in
Pretty and Pink.
