Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Paris. I'm excited because we have another TV
legend coming on, another person who's known by just one
word name. We have Paris and today we have Snooky. Yes,
(00:24):
this is going to be fun. She is so hilarious
and I love that she does says what she feels
and doesn't give a f Yeah, it's crazy. I've seen
other interviews with her where she's like brutally honest about
her life and everything. And I know you guys are close.
So this episode, I'm sure is going to be filled
(00:44):
with some bombs, very funny bombs. Yes, I can't wait
to ask her some fun questions. I really want to
know about her, you know, her drinking days, because that
was like I would watch that as a young person
and be like humans can rer vibe um. So we'll
find out if she, uh, how she's doing now you
(01:05):
know how that liver is holding up? Hey, Snooky, how
are you good? How are you fantastic? It's really nice
to meet you. You guys know each other, Yes for
many years? Good to see. Yes, we just saw each
other recently. She just won you blocked out. I don't
(01:31):
remember anything. You don't remember going on stage? No, and
then the next day, the roomies were like, yeah, you
were trying to fight Nikki, and I was like, oh
my god. Yeah. Like on stage as I was presenting
the ward to you're like, after this, like let's go
and drink, like come all over, like let's go, let's go,
like god, but I don't remember and saying and like
(01:54):
because you know it's COVID. So the award shows like
they're so strict with like no drinking now, and like
you can't get drinks or you know, you can't even
leave your table. So I knew that was happening, and
I filled up a water bottle of vodka, which I
should have did Nassy but Aca and we were just
chugging it. And then right after I sat down and
got there, everything just a blur. I blacked out the
(02:15):
whole freaking show. Are you so wait? You built up
a water bolef little voga before the event? How deep
into the water bottle did you get by the end
of the event. Well, I mean so I took two
squeaks when I got there, and I was gone because
I'm a mom now, I'm classy, and I don't like
(02:38):
pots anymore. I don't like chug vaka anymore like I
used to. So I just feel like my body wasn't
used to taking the shots because I never do shots anymore.
So that's what did it. It was like two steps.
The tolerance level is just gone now. Yeah, but back
in the day, you could just do way more than that.
Oh my god, I used to chug what I used
(02:59):
to and comfort Do you remember that? Um? And now
if I smell it, I just want to die, Like
I feel like I'm gonna throw up. It's terrible. That's
the same with me with Patrone. Just like during like
Cabo Mexico for New Year's everyone was drinking like Patrone champagne,
like sprang it everywhere. It smelled so gross. So if
(03:19):
I even get near it, I feel like I'm going
to heave. That's just from yeah, back in the day
I'm classy and grown up to now getting married. Oh
congrab girl, thank you. Do you have any advice for me?
I'm planning my wedding right now, and it's so it's
(03:40):
just like so stressful, it's a nightmare. Well, you've never
gotten married before, right, No, the first time. That's a
great question though. Yeah, so I definitely like for my
wedding I went all out, and I feel like it's
just a jersey and me, Like I did the whole
castle and the big princess dress, I had to dresses.
(04:00):
Make sure you have two dresses because you are I
feel like you're going to do more. But I just
like walking stiles like that gorgeous like timeless dress. And
then once you go to um to your reception in
the party time, that's when you change. And I changed
into this um, you know, a different ballgown, but then
my skirt could come off, so then I took the
skirt off like when it started to get you know,
(04:22):
like fun and dancing, and it was just like a
really really cute white Ryan Stone dress. It was so pretty.
But definitely do two dresses and go all out because
it's your wedding and it's literally your day. So I'm
so excited. Yeah, I have three dresses for that night
so far. So yeah, I have the wedding dress and
then like you walk in with the wedding dress, then
(04:43):
at dinner dress, and then like the dancing party dress. Amazing.
Four Yeah, a good idea for the after after party.
Are you going big Paris with your wedding? Are we
how big? Give us a like one detailed. It shows
how big this wedding is going to be. Well, it's
not going to be as big as it would have
(05:04):
been because of the pandemic obviously and everything that's happening.
It'll be smaller than I like, but it'll be three
days long. So three days of celebrating amazing. That's amazing, okay,
And then how's being a mom? You know, how did
the kids? So my son Lorenzo is turning nine in August,
which is insane, Like I have a nine year old,
(05:26):
like in my fifty years old it's so scary. Uh nine.
And then my daughter was turning seven, and then my
youngest just turned two, so having three is definitely very chaotic.
I'm stressed a lot. Um. I literally just see my
moment in the morning where I just wake up, I
run to Starbucks, I get my Starbucks. Um, you know,
(05:46):
I go to like Target or something for twenty minutes
and then like I'm ready to be a mom, Like
I need that time to just get away for a second.
So um yeah, mom life is crazy. It's a lot.
And I enjoy my want and I enjoy just going
to Target and walking around for like I'm obsessed with Target.
I love going there. I'm blown away that either of
(06:08):
you can walk around Target without it becoming an issue. Yeah. Well,
I mean I make sure like my mask is almost
covering my whole face, and then I wear a big
hat um, but people could still see. I don't know
if it's my eyes or my height. How can out
(06:29):
you can't even how do you get around Target that's
just wearing like a hoodie, hat, like just like a sweatsuit, sunglasses,
a black wig, and now at the mask. I feel
like it's such an easy way to like be in disguise.
I want to ask you. I mean, obviously, you guys
are both kind of reality TV legends and now legends
(06:53):
in a ton of different other areas, But Snooky Jersey
Shore was a huge part of my life when I
was growing up. I just want to know. I'm sure
you've been as a thousand times. Was it anything like
you expected it to be? And was your life anything
like you expected it to be afterwards? Or was this
just like an insane whirlwind and you couldn't have even imagined? Well,
(07:18):
I literally went on the show just to get free alcohol. Uh,
and because you know, going down the shore every single weekend.
It's like a lot of money, like you gotta rent
a place and then buying drinks and all that. And
I was in college. I literally had twenty dollars to
my name, and I was just like, you know what,
it's going to be a free summer where I can
(07:38):
party and go crazy. But also my dream was always
been in real world, Like ever since I was in
middle school. I was like, I'm gonna go in real world.
So this was kind of like my real world. Um.
I never knew that it was gonna be, you know,
all these seasons and everyone was going to be obsessed
with us because we're degenerates. So lucky how it turned out,
(07:59):
But I did not expect, you know, the show to
blow up the way it did. Was that hard for
you in the beginning, just for your whole life to change,
and just like the media and people chasing you and
making up stories and like just so many crazy things
was like a lot to take or you just like whatever,
I don't care. Um No, I feel like it was
(08:20):
okay up until like my friends would start selling stories
about me and like selling pictures of me from high school,
like smoking weed and stuff. I'm like really like you're
trying to get a couple of bucks off, you know,
saying that I used to smoke weed in high school.
So that was annoying, But then it just showed me
who my true friends are. So it was um eye
(08:42):
opening m hmm, yeah, been there. People are so beyond
that they do that it happened. Happened to you quite
a bit. I think it happens to everyone for in
this industry. Just like anything you've ever done in your life,
someone is going to try and make money off of it,
because that's just people are greedy and they don't care
about anyone but themselves, so they don't care what they
(09:03):
have to do to people. Well, you've said you wouldn't
change it, you know, the fame, the life you I
think you have such a great outlook on it, Nicole.
What do you prefer by the way Nicole is SNOOKI
doesn't matter, Okay, Well Nicola Snookie, would you change anything
that happened, um, the fame or or like just the
(09:25):
level that it happened, what you had to deal with,
would you change any of it? Or you content? I mean, honestly,
I owe it now that I've seen the same and
all of it. I would love to just be like
a silent um, like a silent business operator that makes
millions of dollars instead of the same the same, you know,
(09:46):
like I really want to go to the beach and
like I want to do all these things with my kids,
but it's like really hard because you know, people people
see us and they feel like they're best friends with
us because they watch a show so much, and you know,
anywhere I go, it's just it's a skeptical and I'm
taking pictures. I'm doing all that. I love. My fans
will get me wrong. But if I had the choice
to make the money and be famous or not famous,
(10:08):
I would say not famous. But um I it's it's
not bad. Like where I live in Jersey, there's no
paparazzi chasing you. It's just like a quiet town. Um
So my life is not crazy like a Kardashian. You know,
where you go to CVS and there's cameras everywhere, and
like you can't literally live a normal life. I pretty
much have like a normal life. But um yes, I
(10:29):
could choose not being famous. I would probably go that route. Well,
I love like what you've done and you've built a
brand for yourself with your clothing brands and your perfume
and just all of these things you're doing with products.
And I think that's really smart because I did the
same thing with The Simple Life. I saw what a
huge platform it was and I was like, this is
an opportunity to build a brand in a business. And
(10:50):
I love seeing other women do that too. So congrats,
I'm proud of you. Oh yeah, thank you. Um And
I'm not like one of those you know, realities. Is
anything that I knew You're like, yes, put my name
on it, let's go, let's just make money. Like I
really want my brand to be exactly like me, and
I want to be involved in everything. Um. So yeah,
(11:13):
I just feel like I'm very picky with everything, and
I feel like that's why it works. Um. You know,
you see a lot of reality stars where like they
get thrown everything like hey, let's put your name on
condoms and cigarettes and you know all this stuff. Actually
they wanted me to do like a condom brand, and
I'm like, I don't usually use them so now and
(11:33):
I feel like it didn't. It didn't want you just
put your name on like an anti condom brand where
it's just an empty packet, Like who would buys snippy condoms?
It's so weird. Um. Yeah, I'm very picky with like
what I want, you know, to be in my brand.
This is Paris, This is Paris with the same thing,
(11:59):
and this a question for both of you. Paris, you're
so nice to everybody. If I got that famous and
I had the money, I would be an asshole. I
would just be like, hey, I don't want to I'm
with my kids, got here. Do you never? Do you
ever do that? Do you ever have the inclination to
do that? No, I've never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings,
So no matter what, I'm always sweet, always patient. I
(12:23):
always love making someone's day because I think it's so mean.
I've seen celebrities like how their bodyguards like push people
away and scream at them, and it's like they're so
excited to come ho it's so meat Like that would
be heartbreaking and traumatizing, like for anyone. And I feel
like that's why I've been in this industry for so
long is because I'm kind and because I'm nice. And
I feel the same way with Snooky. I've seen her
with people. She's so kind, and patient and sweet and
(12:45):
fun and it's a lot, right. Yeah, But there is
moments where, like, you know, I'm with my kids and
people start touching my kids because they think like they
know them, and that's when I kind of get a
little mama there. But I'm never just like you know,
golf now. Um. But I did experience some people that
I've met that I was so excited to meet, and
you know, they're like, oh, you're just snucky, like get away,
(13:08):
and I'm like, oh, that's really disappointing. Has anybody ever
been rude to you? I mean no, no. We kind
of talked about the people that were rude, but they
were I'm sure people are like rude behind my back
and talking on my back because we live in Hollywood
and that's just like how people are. But to my face, no, yeah,
that's crazy. So after living your life and everything you've
(13:30):
been through, what advice would you give to yourself back
in two thousand nine? Keep drinking, bitch, keep enjoying yourself,
keep being Um. Luckily, I'd never really, you know, let
things get to me when it comes to like people
talking about you or the media saying bad things about you.
(13:50):
I always just was like, okay, whatever, So thank god
that I always had that. Um, And yeah, I don't
think I would say anything to myself because I feel
like everything eat out so good to the point where
like I'm so content as a mom, and you know,
I still have my times where like I want to
go out and party, but like mom style. Um, but
(14:11):
I feel like everything that I've done has made me,
you know, the person that I am today. So I
would just say, keep drinking, bitch, keep enjoying it because
you're gonna get pregnant at twenty four and everything's going
to change. That's pretty good. That's good advice. Keep drinking.
What how much? How much stuff didn't make it to
(14:33):
air on Jersey Shore so much so old school style.
We used to film seven, like we would go into
the house and there's Pelco's, which are like cameras in
the corner of every single room, so that you're always
being watched. Obviously not in the bathroom, but you're always
being watched. And we filmed seven for like a month
(14:53):
and a half, so we're in that house for like,
you know, forty to fifty days, and um, there's just
so much footage going on, especially when we're drinking, and
the show was only an hour long and you can
only edit so much, so I feel like there's they
could literally probably do another four seasons of what didn't
(15:14):
make because we were just so crazy. There was so
much going on UM, And honestly, I'm glad a lot
of the things didn't make it because we were awful.
What's the craziest thing that didn't make it that you
can remember that you're like, oh my god, they didn't
put that in. UM. I don't know. I feel like
(15:35):
there was a couple of fights between the girls that
didn't get in UM. Probably a lot of the drama,
but I feel like they got more of, like, you know,
the big stories like the girls fighting, like fist fighting
and then Ronnie going crazy with Sam. But show us
so much fun to watch. Dear kids ever have play
dates with the other castmates kids. Yeah, so m lot
(16:00):
R Giovanna is like best friends with Jenny's daughter um
Milani And it's so crazy. If you just look at them,
they look like mini Snooky and j wows. It's terrible.
I feel like in so much trouble when we get
older or when they get older. Who have you seen
like grow most over the years and like mature. I
(16:24):
probably say Mike because Mike was such a asshole and
he knows it, and um, I just feel like ever
since he got sober, he just celebrated five years of
being sober of like everything. Um, I'm just so proud
of him because he he was you know, it was bad,
he wasn't great. So the fact that he just like
cut it off and you know now he's just this
(16:47):
amazing husband, amazing dad, amazing friends to all of us.
Just super proud of him. That's great. That's not easy
to do when you're there whole life and your whole
personality and everything every he knows you for is kind
of based on you know, party exactly. He's still fun.
(17:08):
You know, he still knows how to still be sitch
without you know, getting drunk and getting you know, messed up.
But I couldn't imagine giving up wine or like, I
don't know how he does it. I did he ever
ask for your guys help when that was going on
to like, yeah, to be sober? Um No, he never
(17:31):
actually asked. But I feel like when he first started,
we all were like really respectful of like not trying
to get like up in front of him or you know,
like going to clubs with him and stuff like that.
Like we tried to do normal things that didn't involve drinking,
even if I was drinking. Like, yeah, we were trying
(17:52):
to be respectful to him, and I feel like he
appreciated that. So that's so great. It's nice. Are good
friends to him. Huh. Yes. By the way, I was
like just looking at old photos and I saw some
pictures of us from like Las Palmas, from like after
like the MTV Awards, was like me, you, my sister
(18:13):
and j ww and that was just fun. So god,
back in the day, it was so much more fun
before social media, like room nightlife totally. No. Yeah, I remember, um,
we were at the awards and then me and Jenny
and I think Vinny, we just jumped in your car
and like we went clubbing the whole night. Can we
(18:34):
post any of those photos onto our Instagram? Yeah? They're cute. Okay,
so we're gonna, if you guys are listening right now,
we're going to post that to the This is Paris
podcast Instagram. At least one of them will post a
safe ones yeah, and one's from not to Light to Night.
I'm pretty sure I have like raunchy crazy ones of
us um on my camera because back then we didn't
like pictures on our blackberries. I brought like an actual camera,
(18:58):
so I have a full camera of you know, just
l a trips and there's a lot of stuff. Oh sick.
I love that. I also love to win. You and
Jenny dressed up as Nicole and I from the Simple Life.
I think you guys did some magazine shoot. It was
so iconic. Wait, so that was that was the shoot
first jokie in j Wow. I think it was like
our second season and we were doing like all iconic
(19:21):
partners like um, Dumb and Dummer. We did Breaking Bad,
I think, and then you guys and we were so
excited because we always used to be like Santasa Yes,
and we looked so hot and I really wanted to
go blond after that, but it was amazing. Yeah, you
pull off blonde. Good, that's hot. This is Paris. This
(19:52):
is seven next living questions. We're gonna do these rapid
fire today, so feel free to shoot off your answers.
Snooky Paris. Right, what was the first big thing that
you bought when you got your first check? And it
was automatically, not know not automatic? Um man, And I
(20:13):
don't know how to drive. So I taught myself and
I ruined the engine. But yeah, a BMW stick, but
I didn't know how to drive. I've done. I've literally
ruined so many engines trying to learn that I can't.
It's so hard. But that's pretty hardcore that you learned. Okay, next, Um,
when you were little, what did you want to be
when you grew up? Um? I wanted to be a veterinarian,
(20:40):
but I really wanted to be a Real World reality star.
Nice one of those came true. I wanted to be
a veterinarian till and then just became the reality star.
Oh my god. There's so many parents are kids right
now who like want to become veterinarians and they're just
thinking themselves, Oh no, they're going to become reality stars.
(21:03):
What is your spirit animal? And why a cat? A cat? For? Like,
I was a cat in my past life because I
love naps and when I just look at cats, I
feel like we get each other. Um. So I'm a
huge cat person, which is like crazy. My husband is
severely allergic to cats. So when I decided to fall
(21:25):
in love with him. I was like, I'm literally giving
up my love for cats, So it's a huge thing.
That's really sweet. That is what is the craziest rumor
that you've ever heard about yourself? Oh my god, that
I looked up with Drake and I'm like, I wish
that was real because I think it was like season um,
(21:46):
seasons three and we saw each other backstage, you know,
just I think it was like MTB upfronts or something.
He was performing and then we were going on and
then we saw each other and I was like, oh
my god, hugged him. I was like, I'm such a
big fan. That was it, And then the next day
I hooked up with Drake. We'll continue that rumor if
(22:06):
you'd like, Paris, Who's the craziest hook up that that
never happened? Oh, the media has made up so many stories. Um,
I don't even want to like say certain people's names
because they'll be so excited to be mentioned. Um. Probably
the craziest was Michael Jackson, very same we were dating,
because we had pictures together and I was like, I've
literally known him since I was born. My mom and
(22:29):
him were like best friends since their thirteen, Like no
he's like family Jesus. Yeah, but you make up crazy stuff. Okay,
next question, who's your first celebrity crush and your current
celebrity crash. First crush was Devin Sawa. Um, of course
(22:50):
and like now and then I used to kids the
TV screen like obsessed with him and then um, oh
my god, what's his name? Spider Man? Tom, Tom Holland
mh I'm Holland, um Ben Affleck and they're both taken.
So yes, Tom Hollins was in day and now I know.
(23:14):
I was like, and I love her. And when I
saw that, I like, I was for a second, but
then I was like it's fine, Oh yeah, I'm married. Yeah,
what was the worst day you've ever been on? And why? Uh?
(23:35):
I went to see a movie with this guy and
I literally didn't even know him, Like we we talked
for a second and then I was like, all right,
let's go, you know, a movie and we'll go out
to eat. And then during the movie he was like
totally aggressive, like holding my hand. Then he was trying
to go up my shirt and stuff like that, and
I was like, excuse me, sir. And aside from that,
(23:56):
he had the most horrible breath I've ever smelled um
guard day and he was just like really pushy and creepy.
So that was like the worst date I've ever had.
No men listening right now, keep your hands to yourself
during the movie Bias popcorn in the slush, you don't
touch us. Yeah, okay. The last living question, who would
(24:21):
you call to bail you out of jail? J seconds?
She would be there in a heartbeat and she would
get me out, no matter if you had to break
me out, she would do it. And then I want
to ask one follow up on that, out of the
Jersey shore cast, who would be the most likely to
go to jail with you? Like? Who would have been?
(24:41):
Who would be the reason you're in jail? Like go
with me? Or we or like we fought? No, no, no,
I don't know like you guys. You guys got into
some together as a team and ended up in jail.
Say all the girls, all girls? Yeah, if all the
girls are date drinking, we're all going to jail together. Great. Yes,
I have one more question that you've asked before about
(25:04):
I feel like asking it now. You know that game.
I can't say the word on here. F uc kid,
Mary kill. Who would you do that with on the show,
Um Mary Polly because um he's and he's rich Mary,
(25:29):
And then I would kill I would kill Vinny because
he's so annoying. You wouldn't you wouldn't date anybody from
the show, Like there was there ever a time like
what about when you first got on the Jersey Shore,
who were you most attracted to? Okay, so when I
first walked in the door, I thought Ron was the
hottest because like he was like my type. Um. But
(25:49):
thinking about it now, like their brothers, it's disgusting. And
even like watching the show back when we're all like
cooking up with each other, I want to die, like,
like how how is this happening? We can't watch it,
especially like if we're talking about reunions for like you know,
filming purposes, all of us like look away because it's
just so it's incest. It's disgusting. Well, those are great answers.
(26:15):
Thank you so much for coming on. Of course, I
love you, guys, love you, Thank you THO so much. Fun,
I'm so happy for you, and congratulations on your beautiful children,
your brand, your empire. And now with the new season
on MTV Family Vacation Jersey show our loves that go
