Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Paris. Hey everyone, we are back with another
episode of This is Paris. I am so excited about
today's guest. Today we have em She did it. She
pronounced it so well. Hi, and I'm so proud of you.
(00:27):
Is out. We have so much to catch up about.
I know, I'm so for today. I'm so excited. I
was just watching our YouTube video that we did back
at the old Slivington manor the Old Slivington manner was
everything in the world. That video was so fun. I
feel like I didn't know you that well then to
a cute first moment. It was really cute. Since then,
a lot has happened, even you're married, and can we
(00:50):
talk about that. It's so crazy. Oh that made me
want to die, Like I'll never get a ring like
that in my life. Oh my god, that wasn't I
was married life. I I love it because you remember
when we when we first met, I was single during
that time, and I was just out like every single night,
and I'd always go out by myself because I hate
getting like stuck on a date with someone out because
(01:11):
it's like I will not do that. That's when I'm single,
So I would just always go out like either alone
or with one friend, and I'd always see you and
you would always get stuck night, Like if I saw
at one place, it was like, Okay, what seven places
are we going to after this? Which is so fun,
so iconic. But I love that I got to like
know you during your final single era, like your bachelorette era,
(01:35):
and now it's done and it's so cute. Now you
guys inspire me. You guys with a perfect couple. You
He balances you out so crazy. It's like he really does.
I just saw this video where you were like outside
of some restaurant and all these people were mobbing you,
obviously because you're practical Hilton, and he was just like
trying to get you inside so safely, and I was like,
it's just because you'll stop and take a thousand for
(01:57):
six hours, and he was trying to just get you
in and it was really cute. I know he's he's
so amazing and so protective and I need that. I
need someone he's responsible. He's like such a nerd, but
he's just like like a hot nerd and so funny
and brilliant and inspiring, and he's just really changing. It's
so like apparent how much he loves you for you
(02:20):
and obviously you've talked a lot about your the hungry
tigers of it all, and you can just tell he
has your absolute best interest in mind. It really does
dahn me next anyone, if you're watching this seriously, someone proposed,
are you single? I am single right now, but I'm
trying so hard not to be. But you know it's hard,
(02:41):
especially just people like finding someone to kind of deal
with our lives and just us like you know what
I mean, We're crazy and it takes a lot for sure,
and someone with their own ship going on. It's so
not hot to be the rich man of the good too,
you know. Yeah, I hate that. It's just you feel
like how we emasculate men. I feel like when we
(03:03):
do that to some guys in a way, and then
if they are cheating us, like we're like the sugar daddy,
then like we feel like not like a woman. I
don't know, I just feel like weird in the world.
It's just nothing will turn me off faster. Someone's like,
sugar mama. I'm like, I'm not buying a water bottle.
I'm not buying anything. Ever, You're not going to see
me by one. It's just it's the principle. It's not
(03:24):
that we're not generous people. Like obviously, if I love
you and I know your intentions are good, like of
course I want to get you gifts and do things,
but it's just not it for me. I just like
to be treated like a princess. We deserve that. Like
these bare minimum things out here have gotten tops. I
call them gelopes. Gelo is like someone who's just like
(03:45):
such a gelop. It's like you go to dinner and
they're like with a on a date and they're like,
let's split the bill, like you ate this like that.
I would be like someone actually did that to me once,
and I literally was so disgusted that I was like,
I have to go to the bathroom, and I like
literally left cash like hidden on the table, like on
the napkin, just to like make them bill beyond and
walked out. I went into the bathroom and then jumped
(04:07):
out the window of the bathroom because I didn't want
to like have to like come exit and go through
the restaurant again doing that Harrishilton. I hope for the
rest of that person's life they just has a core
memory of it, like what an el? Like what did
I do that? That's so fucking embarrassing. That's that's crazy
of all people to ask you want to date and
(04:27):
ask And it wasn't even a nice restaurant. It was
like this like the Medle No, like in the middle
of like Silver Lake, This like little gross restaurant that
I hated too. Was he a Silver Lake guy? Have
you ever heard the Silver Lake archetype? Like they have
patchwork tattoos, they look like they eat cigarettes. It looks
like like kind of like a Brad Pitt kind of guy.
Like this was like this was like when I was
(04:48):
like I don't know, like twenty three years old, so
it was like, yeah, he was hot, but that was
a while ago. Card I love you, and I don't
think anyone is hot. But you good safe, good one stop.
Oh my god. But the new house looks great. We're
at the new Slivington Manor. It's like it's a pretty
(05:11):
big house of a lot of rooms or I wonder
it's gonna happen like a nursery vibe or something. Yeah,
we have we're getting the nursery ready soon because I
want to have babies next year. You're going to be
the funniest, most iconic mom. Like if I cannot be
like reincarnated as your baby, I'm so pissed like that,
Like I just I can't imagine you like your kids
(05:32):
like at school. You're like, that's so beyond. It's gonna
be so funny. They're gonna have everything in the world.
I can't wait. They're gonna be dying at like four
years old. No, I feel like I want them to
be the opposite of me in that way, like a carter.
And I always say, like we want them to look
like me, because look like mommy, but act like daddy. Honestly,
I want them to be nerds, but like look like
(05:55):
absolutely like me. I'm actually a nerd to and I
can undercover neck. I know. I feel like people don't
know that. But you're slowly like you show that side
more and more. I was. I always talk about that
that like you when you first started kind of giving
mentor energy to me, like really put that on, like
taught me how to, like you know what I mean,
play into the character in the person to build a
business behind it. And it's it's so true, Like I
(06:17):
almost like when people think I'm dumb, because I'm like,
check this one and watch me show you it is
the best? Do you feel me person as you? Like
so many things you say. I relate to you, and
that's why I like immediately connected with you. And I
don't know, I don't really have a lot of like
friends that I really trust, especially in this town, but
(06:37):
you always. I know that we're both busy and me
travel and everything, but you always are so kind to me,
like you're the best ever. It's actually funny. Um, yesterday
you messaged me and you said, hey, Dizzy, and Paris
has been calling me dizzy because when I met you
was in the error where I was saying it all
the time, like we were hating on people. I remember
you and we were in a car with an Uber driver,
which is even just crazy to think about you being
(06:58):
in an Uber. We're in a car with an Uber
driver and we were like asking him to turn up
the music or something and he wasn't listening, and you go, hey, Dizzy,
can you turn up the music? Like you called the
Uber driver and dizzy because we couldn't saying that night
and I hadn't. That's before I made my wine dizzy
and like really built a brand around it, And I
don't know if I ever would have if it wasn't
(07:19):
for you being like no, like dizzase your word, like
run your trade market. I did. I think. I think
when you told me to trade market, I woke up
the next day and I was like, we need to trademark.
Dizzy Paris said so like immediately it's taken off now,
And I think I saw a credity so cool. Yeah,
I saw that you have your whole Neil, like it's
like cand Rose, like you can party with. Yeah, it's
so funny. I want to try it. I was going
(07:40):
to bring you somebody was like, I don't. It's should
have been drinking it right now, honey. I love helping
promoting my friendship and obviously you're the best, but I
just never want you to think that that's my intention.
You know. But four of them equal a bottle of wine.
So even if I had one right now, I would
be faded for the day. As a businesswoman, give me
you mentor advice, you should bring it with you when
(08:02):
you go to podcast eye and things, and like it's
your brand normally it's like built it and take it out.
I was not I was not about to do that today.
It's too much. Paris is too iconic. I just wanted
to come hang out, Vibe. I love you. So, how
are you? What are you doing for the holidays? I
am We're trying to decide right now. I wanted. I
(08:23):
got all these different DJ gigs to dj all around
the world for New Years, and I kept saying no
to everything because I was like, this is my husband
and I like probably like last year's alone together before
we have kids next year and we're kid. Um, I
know that would be awesome. Um. But so I wanted
to go to like Hawaii Maui and rent like a
(08:45):
sick house and just chick. But then I got a
call from someone that they want me to perform with
them on New Year's in Miami. And I'm gonna be
a kid, say who, yeah, I'm coming, I'll be there.
You're gonna be there. Miami for New Year's is just
it's a party girls stable, to say the least, like
and I'm I don't know though, I could like chill,
(09:06):
stay back, but it's like the death Wish Miami New
Year Is that a whole week? You know, I'm going
to be at the strip club to like eight am
and stuff. Were you at art Puzzle? No? I was
in Vegas before that, and I was like, if I
go from Vegas to Oar like it's it's death. Yeah,
it's awful. It's not even that good anymore. Honestly. Yeah,
it's never really it's fun, but it's not like I
have to be there, you know. Like a couple of
(09:28):
before the pandemic, I felt like it was so chic
and it was so exclusive and it was just like
the best people around the world. Now every gelop and
their mother has found out about it and it's turned
into central. I would be the gelop in question there. No,
you're not a gelop. I can't feel. Yeah, I can't decide.
(09:49):
I don't know. Miaman be a little too crazy. I'm
still trying to decide that I love Miami and then
maybe like the Bahamas before close like all the little
Pigs and Chip yeah love that have done it. I've
never been to the Mammas. I have like an hour
on a boat one time, but like I haven't actually
had a trip there. It's so close to Miami, I know,
that's like, yeah, that's the guy. That's one place I
(10:10):
need to do. Should on my last couple, where's your
favorite place to travel? Like, what's your favorite? I love
the Maldives, walterf story and the Maldives is literally the
most insane hotel. They gave me their whole island last
time I was there. That fits like people like saw
did you do that? For insane? That was for our
one year wedding anniversary. It's not even a year, that's
(10:32):
so I know, just going so so fast. I was
just like walking through your house and I was looking
at all these all the posters for the different things
you have, like cooking with Paris and like the Paris
YouTube documentary, and I was just thinking about all the
moments and the parties for all those things, and they
feel like just yesterday, but it's been like years. Like
it's actually crazy. Time is flying. It's so weird. That's
(10:55):
why we make the most of it. I know, it's
so scary. It's so crazy. Do you feel like that
that there was like a lot of parts of your
career where you just didn't like stop and smell the
roses and it just like flu But I like, I
really just now started to feel like that where it
was like damn, like I just like you know, because
you're just go, go go. It's like and you don't
even remember a lot of it at all. People like
(11:16):
you were here with this. I'm like, I don't remember
sucking anything at all. All these things I know, it's
like that looked fund, the photos look great. I have
no idea where I was mentally for any of it.
I felt like that a lot. And my mom always
would say to me ever since I was a teenager,
like Paris Moan, like stop and smop the roses sometimes
and then all the time, even the past year has
(11:36):
always been like you have such a beautiful life. You
work so hard, like why don't you enjoy it? Instead
of just like but we're both very like what's next,
like go go go, and it's hard. I'm trying to
get better at that, but it's like definitely one of
my downfalls. Like I'm just like, I don't think it's
our fault. I think we both have had trauma in
our lives and it really affects you and I just
want to like drown the pain, so you just like
(11:58):
we'll go out and party and like through someone of
things to not think about things you went through in life.
I can't be alone with my own thoughts for fucking
thirty minutes, like take me to the club. You know.
That's the thing is, It's like do we not remember
it because we were partying or do we not remember
it because we were trauma blocking it all out? Probably both,
I don't even know. But you like, really, I feel
(12:20):
like I've done so great in the past couple of
years about like finally opening up about a lot of
your trauma, because even when I first met you, I'm like,
oh my god, like I wonder you know what I mean,
like what she's really been through. And then I'll never forget.
The premiere of the Paris documentary like that was just
so like I don't even know if I could do that,
you know what I mean, Like airing out a documentary
(12:40):
where you're talking about some of the worst things that's
ever happened to you in a room full of the
entire industry, every celebrity in the world, like sitting there
and in your parents backyard. Well, it was just it
was crazy that you did that. But it's it's good.
You've been doing a lot of activists stuff for that
as well, which is good. It's literally made even though
its worst experience anyone could ever go through. I I
(13:04):
feel like everything happens for a reason, and it's worth
it to me that I have been able to change
laws in seven states and now taking it to a
federal level so be illegal in all fifties states. That's
so so good because it is like and it's something
that I feel like no one's ever really shown a
light on. It's like those schools and how how fucked
up they are. Like you're really the first person to
expird that, and you're probably gonna save so many kids
(13:26):
from going through How seven states is crazy? Congrat's thank
you love to see it. It's been really just very healing,
Like turning your pain into a purpose. That's all you
really can do, and it's it's great something I need
to follow in your footsteps more of do smack activism. Well,
I think that you are very open about so many
things in your life, but you just do it in
(13:46):
like a comedic fun way where you kind of just
like try to laugh at it. But I know there's
hard things, and I know that even though you do
it in a fun way, you're still helping people because
people go through the same ship that we all ye
That's definitely why I like star did what I do.
I think it's just like for me, I always loved
YouTube and the Internet and stuff because it was like
it could be five minutes of my day where I
didn't think about anything else. I just could, like you
(14:10):
know what I mean, like fall into someone else's world
and laugh, and that's like if I can do that,
like that's the goal always. When did you start doing that? Um?
I was like fifteen and I'm twenty four now, so
like nine years, which is crazy. I'm about to hit
a decade of doing this, which is a long ask
fucking time for sure. Um yeah, I mean I never
expected it to get this crazy and get to do
(14:31):
ship like this and live the life that I live.
But I'm glad I did for sure. Someone asked me
on the carpet on Monday at the stream as they
were like, what would you be doing if you weren't
doing this? I was like, I hate to tell you,
but I think I'd literally probably be a stripper, Like
I had nothing else like there was there was not
it was this or nothing. You're killing it. Thank you.
(14:54):
I love you. I feel like we've both grown so
much since we first met. It's actually easy to think about,
like we were just like psycho babies, psycho babies. I
know it was so much fun, but it's good to
be I don't know, grown up. I'm trying to enter
my grown era and I really am, like I really,
(15:15):
I hope I'm fucking married in the next Like, but
then again, look at I feel like you had other
relationships but you didn't really like you found the one now,
you know. And it's like, so I can't put all
my eggs in that basket and you just take my time,
but you just change so much all the time I
was dating someone, even like ten years ago that I
dated it, I would not I still want to be
(15:36):
with them, you know. I just feel like going through
this town, it's like the worst choices because the guys
are just such boys and it's absolutely the worst. That's
what you're You're so smart for going to like hot
nerd route because all these like I don't want a celebrity. Yeah,
Like it's it's because it's just the same person in
a different font. It's just a nightmare to date someone
(15:58):
like that, because I feel like there's women just like
throwing themselves with them all the time. And I just
I wouldn't want to be with a guy that was
in the industry. I think it's nice to be with them.
Want someone who I don't care about any of that.
Our trust is definitely like fucking shot, like the way
that you know what I mean. So it's like you
almost need someone who can really fucking reassure you that
they're there, versus like a celebrity who's just like feeding
(16:19):
their ego crazy like you'd go insane, like for real,
especially like you're gone all the time, you're everywhere, You've
got to be able to know like when you're gone,
like someone's not home fucking their fans humiliating you literally,
and people are so dumb, like they're not gonna get caught,
Like you don't think every girl is going to screenshot
your ship, like every single fucking girl that's I don't
(16:40):
I hate to the most recent really public cheating scandal
with the Victori's Secret Angel, and you know, just like
what do you have this? You have this amazing woman
and you're gonna get caught. Yeah, Like those girls are
not going to show off and be like, oh, guess
who texted me this? Yeah, these girls think it's their
claim to fence, which is also a another awful side
(17:01):
of it on the flip side as well. I just
girls like, I'm not doing this for Cloud. I'm just
doing it, just doing You're doing it for Cloud for sure. Um.
So it's definitely just an interesting thing, but it's crazy.
I couldn't deal. I can't imagine what about I just
saw you were like not feuding, but like going back
(17:21):
and forth with um that dude, the dad that was
like cheating and like, oh, you're gonna I thought you
were going to call me out for getting back on
and off of my face tattooed acts. I was waiting
for you to like, no, no, no paris um um
Addison raised dad Mom, Yes you're talking about that. Ship
(17:42):
is so fucking bonkers to me. I don't I've just
never seen such a sad I gotta stop bearing him out.
I just keep doing it everywhere I go in case
of just like super sad like narcissism, like and I.
You and I have talked about this at ink as well.
Something that I just really irks me and rubs me
(18:03):
the wrong way is stage parents and parents who want
to live so vicariously through their kid and you know
what I mean, just like that's that's why your mom's
the best. Like she's got her own ship going on.
She's Catherine motherfucking health. Yeah she is. She's not out
here living through you, leeching off of your you know
what I mean. She's proud of her daughter. And that's
using your daughter's fame to then cheat on your life
(18:26):
with fans of your daughter and girls who were your daughters.
Eight Like, it's just so embarrassing. It's so beyond And
him and he like does he think he's hot? Like
it's he has to think he's so hot, Like it's
the way you should post. I wish I could literally
pull it up for you right now. I have to stop.
I watched some of them. I was like dying the
like appics in the mirrors and and he was one
(18:49):
of his texts got leaked where he was talking to
one of the girls. He was getting up and he
was like, I want to make you the breg I
want to make you the princess of my empire. We're
talking jet money, blah blah blah. Who talks like that?
We're talking jet who talking like that? It's just it's
as you would say, it's beyond um. I can't even
(19:12):
That's one thing I was talking about with Gus, your
executive assistant downstairs, is I feel like the biggest lesson
you've ever taught me, and I don't even think it's
not necessarily something you taught me verbally, it's something that
I learned by being around you and with you. Is
the level of humility that you have, how humble you are.
I've never seen anything like it in this industry. Absolutely ever,
(19:33):
Like you are so one of the kind with that
you won't you speak to everyone, You compliment everyone, you'll
take every photo you're funny or it's never like you
know what I mean, Like it's it's just never. And
like for me, I was like, I want to be
just like that, Like I want to leave every interaction
with every person ever and be like she was so nice,
she was she was everything I wanted her to be
in more And it's crazy to me the ego out here,
(19:56):
I don't know, makes me sick. Thank you, I appreciate that.
What's so true? It really is like you're just so
nice to everyone. It's definitely I feel like most people
don't know that, Like the way I mean people know that,
but it's it's to the most insane extent. I've like,
how I don't even think I could be that nice
before I'd probably be like such a kind even Um, yeah,
(20:21):
I think I'm just snatchurally like that, and maybe just
like what I went through and those schools was just
so like traumatizing and crazy that I will literally be
able to take anything and I could just have like
the most patients in the world because it's you can
be that nice, but I feel like a lot of
people in your shoes would be like a bitch. I'm tired,
you know what I mean. Oh my god, I'm like,
(20:43):
if I have to say that's hot one more time,
I'm gonna cliff like, you know what I mean. Like,
it's the patience and resilience throughout it is. It's awesome,
it's beautiful. Thank you. That means a lot I love.
I don't know, I never really talked to people about
stuff like this, but that makes me feel so happy.
I'm gonna cry. This is Paris. So you were born
(21:13):
in Las Vegas or just lived there. Um, I just
went back there for the holidays, and it was like
the first time in a long time that I liked
it again because like growing up there, no, no one
should grow up there. I mean there should be a
literal law, like kids can't go to school there. You shouldn't.
Like it was twenty one at thirteen, like I was
just like and I'm sure you relate to that, Like
(21:33):
we were just like Vegas. Ye think the first one
and I went out there was probably like fourteen or fifteen.
It's just sneaking out and that. Yeah, it brings out
of the craziest side. But now I finally have like
a love for it and I like going home and
it's like cool, Like, you know, do you remember your
first time at a club there? That's a great question.
(21:57):
I don't. I don't. I remember that. By the time
I was eighteen, I was banned from like the Cosmopolitan,
like MGM properties, like from being underage, so many clubs
and they just caught me. But then thankfully they lift
that one. You're eighteen, so I'm pretty good to go now.
But growing up was just because that's the thing, like
the way I feel like people have like house parties
everywhere else, Like it was like hotel parties, you know,
(22:20):
and it was just like why the funk was I
in a casino like at fourteen, like running around just
it's a very interesting era. I think it's great to visit,
but I couldn't. Didn't you have a residency in Vegas
for a while? Yeah, I got. I got a Vegasy
all the time. I love it um for work, but
I used to live there for a year, did you? Yeah,
one with my ex like ten years ago. And I
(22:42):
just wear in Vegas, I don't remember, like Henderson, Yeah,
it's cute, but it was just like boring, like there's
nowhere to go, like some like cvs and like strip
malls like what literally I had to out of the shop.
I was moved to l A by the time I
was like sixteen eight, honestly, and now this is like
so home to me. But being from Vegas is funny.
(23:04):
I think it explains a lot about my person definitely
what makes me insane and the and the partying of
it all. So what do you want to be when
you were a little Imagine I just say a stripper again. Um,
I actually wanted to be an English teacher. And then
I was like, you've heard me talk like imagine me.
I'd be like I'd be crazy. Um, But it wasn't
(23:28):
really until I like found YouTube, and it's at the time,
it just wasn't. Now I feel like kids like but
there was just this like statistic that was released where
it's like the number one thing kids want to be
now is like an influence. It's you know what I mean.
But at the time that wasn't like a real thing.
Like if you were like when I grew up, I
want to be like a YouTuber, people would be like, Okay,
go back to school, Dana, Like, you know, it wasn't
(23:49):
a thing. It was definitely just like a dream. But
when I when I realized I could make money off
of it, I was like, fuck it. I you know,
I wanted to like spearhead that YouTube generation. And it's
cool now meeting all these like young little YouTubers that
are like your my mom you raised me. Sure you
hear that from me? I'm like, you're my love. Yeah.
(24:12):
Like what would be something that people would be surprised
to know about you? Paris? You know you know better
than anyone, but I and so are you, Like, I'm
such an open fucking book. It's your It's so hard
even you're writing your book. Is this your first book?
My third book, but this is my first memoir. Yeah,
(24:34):
I can't imagine the stories. But that's like even when
I think about that, I'm like, I don't even when
I think about when I get to my book ere,
I'm like, I don't even know what to write about
because I've told it all. Like it's just I I
really don't even know what I'll actually talk about. Wow,
what are is? What are some of the stories in
the book? Can I know one? Uh, it's there's a
lot of crazy stories, but just everything about like my party?
(24:57):
It is? Do you write everything simple? Life are? Yeah?
Everything it's like from order, from when I was a
little girl till now. That's such a hard process. That's
like I couldn't. I don't, Like we were just talking
about I don't remember my life, let alone to write about.
How is that for you? Like are you calling in everyone?
Like like researching a lot, like googling and like yeah,
(25:20):
like a lot of stuff. I think I just blocked
out so I didn't remember. But then I would like
go and like see a old video or old picture,
and then all of a sudden, all the memories would
like start flooding back. I'm so excited. When do you
think you're releasing that. I think it's coming out like February. Oh,
so you're like done, it's done. That's crazy. I just
finished editing it last night. That's I'm excited that it's
(25:43):
written from your like personality, from your standpoint as well.
Because one thing I always say people don't I feel
like people don't know like I know, is how funny
you are, Like you're fucking commentary the ship that comes
out of your fucking mouth, Like I don't. I feel
like she she doesn't even share that necessarily on this podcast.
She's very professional, Paris. It just funny, Like I'm excited
(26:03):
to see your standpoint from everything that's going to be
fun Thank you. I love to see it is on
this paper. See what else we got here? Um? All right,
So if you ever had a child one day that
was going down the wrong path at a young age,
how would you handle it as a parent? Jesus from
(26:25):
you in Vegas? Like, okay, so if you were ever
a child in one day, if your child acted like you,
I would my child acted like me. I don't I
need I need a psych word. I think I don't.
That's hard. But at the same time, I feel like
like you were just saying. As a child, I know
I was acting in so many ways because of maybe
(26:46):
the way that I was brought up, you know, like
maybe I wasn't necessarily feeling the love, or I was
looking to other outlets for attention or to numb things
or things like that. So I I feel like my goal,
obviously is to raise my kids with so much love
and give them the world. And that's why I'm working
as hard as I am is to be that person
(27:07):
and do that. So I would hope and I can
almost guarantee no one's going down the path I did.
I was fucking nuts. It would take a lot, you
know what I mean. But I just I hope they're
better than I. And thank god, I worked so hard
to have the resources to get intense therapy or whatever
it is that they need for being raised by Santa Mojo.
You know, I love that. What about you? What's your
answer to that question. I am gonna be probably so
(27:30):
strict because I know how kids lie and can sneak
out and do things, so but I'm gonna also give
so much love where they'll not want to sneak out
and make our house the really fun house. So the
kids are not gonna want to sneak out there, and
I'll want to hang out here. Yeah, And I hope
that they're like on VR and just like only do
that and like go out in the metaverse and or
just like in this room always so going to be
(27:53):
your kid like out in the meta earth. That's so funny.
Nothing I'll get past me though. Yeah, that's true, because
you know every trick in the book. But I feel
like you also create an environment that's very like for honesty.
Like I feel like you you were the type of
person where it's like, oh, I can tell you anything
because you know you might be like what then did
you just do? But you'll give good advice and you'll
still love So Yeah, I don't I don't foresee that
(28:15):
being problem for you. Yeah, my mom was really strict
kind of backfired, so backfired. Yeah, but you were like
paving the way for that, like now you're you know
every Your mom probably didn't know what hit her when
you hit your birth you know what I mean? Plus
my mom had me when she was nineteen years old,
so she was how was Nikki in comparison to you?
(28:39):
You guys eventually were like a dynamic we would go
out a lot, but she was just like, I'm like
kind of the party girl and then she's more like
the elegant. Yeah, she is so the opposite of you,
Like she's just very like like she's scary. I wouldn't
want to kiss her off, you know, Like I just
(29:00):
know that when I'm like with you and we're being
crazy and stuff, I remember like I would just see
Nicki in the corner like what are you doing? I
feel like I'm sorry. Well, yeah, Nikki is the strict one.
I love that though. She just loves you. She wants
to protect you. She knows you've been through a lot.
She's probably so stoked about your marriage era. She just
(29:21):
wanted that for you for so long. Yeah, and she's
had her third baby. Just crazy by first boy, Wow,
she looks amazing that firm queens of that Oh my god,
the jeans. You're going to be such a glowing pregnant lady.
That's crazy, Like that's everything. I'm so scary of that part,
(29:42):
so scary, Like just I know it's a beautiful thing.
I don't mean to sound like it's not, but just
the change to your bood, like it's so scary, especially
because you're just you know, like yeah, and just like
the blood are coming out, like it breaks. Would you
ever do a sturget or no? That's what I'm like
(30:03):
contemplating because it's just the other way around. It's kind
of I don't know. I hate working out, I hate
eating healthy real like, yeah, I'm just life Like how yeah,
you have to really chill out, Like I don't even
know if I could see you chill out for nine
month schedule is insane? Yeah, Like that's crazy. My favorite
thing was I saw this some article or something about
(30:25):
how Kim Kardashian straight up she went to the met
and then the next day you just showed up Nur
Surguit was having your kid, Like that's sick. That's what
I want to do. Like I want to be like
at Coachella and the next day I'm like, okay, do
I pick up my baby? Like this this is incredible? Yeah. Yeah,
I'm like that's that and death or like the two
(30:46):
things I'm most scared of. That. Yeah, I feel like
by the time it would ever knock on wood, it
would ever come around or um, yeah, yeah, there's gonna
be some ai you live forever, Like yeah, they're already
developing that type of show, right, and you know you're
going to be like the first person to have access
to that. I've already been mapped like everything, my body,
(31:08):
my voice really for making like he's insane, like avatars
and holograms and all these things. So that could probably
be the next parks they're doing my internal Yeah, Black
Mirror Ash Ship, that's crazy. I love that show so good.
Have you seen the episode with Miley or they make
like eternal? Yes, totally so good. They need a new season. Yeah,
(31:33):
I know. I was just thinking that it's been so long.
Love that ship. You guys are listening, bring us more.
We want to be in it. That would be so dope.
So let's manifest. So what else have you been up to?
What other brands are you launching, What other projects are
(31:55):
you doing? I love your podcast as well. Yes, so
the podcast. I was doing the podcast and then we
took a little break and I've been doing a Spotify
live show called Tannis Toxic Tips, where I give people
really bad advice. It's actually so awful. Um, but my
podcast is picking back up at the top of this year,
and I'm so excited, Like it's just that's like my therapy,
(32:16):
Like I can't. I just like whenever like a boy
does something stupid or someone like wrongs me, or like
anything happens, like just like it's been so hard not
having a podcast. He's past like a couple of months
because I'm like, I just have to think these thoughts.
I can't say them, like I need I need somewhere
to like say it dizzy red wine. I've been working
on all the wine. I just launched a red one
um and then I think I'm gonna do well. I
(32:38):
know I'm going to do a weed line Tannamus, and
I'm excited about that. Thank you. Um, that's gonna be fun.
Not really on my stone or lifestyle lately, but then
get back into it for sure. And for the brand
for the bord, Like this is market research just like
so high, Like what are you saying? Um trying to
get like you, I'll never forget when I my first
(32:59):
perfew and I came over and you laid out every
perfume you'd ever launched ever on a table for me,
and I was like, there's thirty five of them, right,
It's crazy. What are you what? Like what are you
launching right now? Working on the book obviously, yeah, the book.
Person love new music, um all, my my new cookwear lines,
(33:21):
just launched my new track suit Linearne. You have everything?
What don't you have? What's one thing you want? Like?
I want to do that you haven't yet? I don't know.
I've literally done everything, I think everything. Ever, someone was
offering me to do like a Paris Hilton beans line
when I went to Mexico. It's like beans. I was
like yes, I was like like some food company. I
(33:44):
was like that, it's just not really fit with the
brand at all. But how funny would that be? It
would be? Yeah, it would be beyond beans. I see
it now. It's crazy. I'm gonna be like that though.
I know. I just know, like five years, I'm gonna
be like Tanna, Tanna bananas, just whatever the whatever else
(34:06):
there is that I haven't checked off the list. I
get that from you for sure. Why not o beans?
But I'd buy them and I'd eat them, like I
hate to say, this is Paris. In two thousand nineteen,
(34:32):
you start on your own MTV reality series MTV No Filter.
Tanna Turns One was an easy yes for you when
you're asked to be on your own reality show or
did you have to take some time to think about it.
It was definitely an easy yes. And I think that
you obviously were one of my main inspirations for doing
something like that. You were on season one, I think
with me um, and I'd always wanted to do that.
(34:55):
I'd always wanted to check that off my bucket list.
But I think that you don't really know what goes
into reality television until you do it. Like it's just
and I remember you kind of like, you know, briefing me,
but it is, it's crazy and it's hard. I definitely,
I mean I would do it again and maybe a
different capacity, maybe something simple life vibes or something like
(35:18):
I'm like cooking, but I'm just taking all the ins
over from her, but like maybe a different vibe that's
not necessarily like so based around my life. I think
that doing YouTube is it's just so different. Like I
I was so used to being so in control of
my own narrative, filming my ship, editing it how I want,
putting it out, and when you kind of give that up,
(35:40):
it can be hard. I'm sure you've been in an
episode of something where you're like, I don't remember it
happening like that, and I don't maybe I don't maybe
look the best like I don't. Maybe you know like
that they I look like a bit I look like
blah blah blah. It just that was a hard pill
for me to swallow, So I would definitely care a
lot more about production credits and stuff like that. But
(36:03):
did you not have editing approval? I thought I thought
it was gonna like, um, I don't think. I don't
think it went down like that. But it was still
a fun experience and it did a lot for me
in my career, so I'm not It's not like, oh
my god, but it's crazy reality do you live and
you learn and yeah, and then it's probably so different
(36:23):
for you now, like shooting Paris and love versus like
the Simple Life days, Like you probably had way less
of a say then than you do now. Oh yeah,
we had like no editing approval and we would just
do you know you feel like I don't this question,
you know what I mean? Like, do you feel like
it was portrayed the way it was Simple Life? Yeah?
(36:45):
I feel like for that show it was just like
the first of its kind. So I feel like reality
TV has changed a lot in that way. Um, what
was the question? I don't know. Honestly, I'm so a
D D and I'm hitting a caffeine and crash right now,
like when you're just like sweating, Yeah, I'm so hot happening.
But I think it's really just the caffeine leaving my body.
(37:08):
Like I don't know what's happen for really, I can't
believe I have to walk a red carpet after that.
Give me your best red carpet tip. Oh, I'm gonna
tattoo this on me and like another language whatever she says,
like whatever is your favorite type of pose? Like just
look in the mirror and do it, or have some
dig pictures of you and then kind of study them
and you're like go to poses. Yeah that one right
(37:30):
now kind of just like standing so cut she just
ate me up, ate me up. So um, that's that's
so fucking cut. Um. That's so funny. Today I was
looking in the mirror practicing my awards show clap. I'm like, yes,
good job, good insane. I think practicing is good. And
(37:53):
then like the outfit you're wearing, because it's like a
different pose for each outfit, you know what I mean?
Like it just depends, so definitely only look in the
mirror before you want to rid a carpet at the
outfit and like what looks best to pose because it
just depending on the cut of something with the carter
doing something else my past red carpet to like, what
the funk was wrong with you? I went through such
(38:14):
a phase where I was just like I want I
was an attention horror. I wanted to wear the craziest
fucking thing on the carpet and get the most intention.
I was worst dress, best dressed. I was just I
wanted to be there and make a statement. And I'm
like looking back, like I went to the MTV Movie
Awards dressed as a one dollar bill, Like the dress
was a dollar, not even a d a one dollar
bill and I'm on the carpet like tongue out middle thing,
(38:36):
like wear a gown and stop tanna, Like it was
just it was beyond. I liked that dress. I think
it was cool. I think it would have been better
if they made it like a hundred Yeah that's random,
but it was like a double looking dress. It was
funny and fun but like I just I'm in my um,
you know, like I don't want to look back and
(38:56):
hate something in ten years. I'm trying to be in
my leg for ever Slight era. Yeah, I can feel that,
but just I've worned some things back in the day
that I was like, what was I think? Can you
think of one? Um wants to like send Sundance milk
music not music festival, Sundance Smoothie Festival. I went to
some like party in a big giant field like to
(39:20):
to like giant pink and then like big like moon
boots that I had got like a gifting suite and
like a beanie from like Hugo Boss because it was
like a Hugo Boss house party. I just looked, I'm like,
why did you ring a tutu dress to the snow? Yeah?
(39:41):
That's such a funny place to like what's your favorite
Do you know my twenty one birthday dress, everever I
dress is up for Halloween? It was so fun. Um,
I was just looking back at us at because I
went to the Streamy Awards on Sunday and I was
looking back at the past photos and not like, first
of all, you're outfit for that, like it was so
(40:01):
it was like it was like the dazzled diamond silver dress,
almost paying kind of an homage to the twenty one vibe.
You know. It was like, and you like, there's these
photos of us. I looked like you brought I was.
I looked like a charity case. I looked like she
like brought a kid from the side of the road
to like the Streamy's and the photos of us. And
(40:22):
I was nominated for Creative of the Year that year,
and I was so convinced I wasn't gonna win. So
I was like, I'm gonna wear something crazy. I was
in my dress like Billie Eilish air, I wear this
big jumpsuit. And then I win the award and I'm
on stage in a bedazzled, giant lime green jumpsuit with pigtails.
And it's like I was. I was looking at those
photos yesterday, like just dying inside. I was like, it's
(40:42):
it just wanted to like wear a gown, like what
if you win? Like you stupid pitch and you just
looked amazing in the photos. I was like, this is
so embarrassing for me. I thought you looked cool. I
remember that was like green. I know in her head
she was like, what the fund is this bitch wearing
there's no way she wasn't like go off my sweet
sweet parents. Okay, so you're not afraid to open up
(41:13):
and sure followers anything, it's like anything you have no filter,
you just show it all. Like how did you find
that confidence? I think I've just it might be the
Vegas in me. Even just going home when I was
with everyone, like all my hometown friends, I was like,
this is where I get it from. Like I just
say whatever is on my mind, for sure, but it's
it's a bit. I mean, the asked a lot as well.
(41:33):
I'm trying to like learn to be better. I just
saw this psychic who told me that in the month
of December, if I was like acting crazy, I was
going to have a scandal. And if I like was
cautious about everything I posted, I'd be like all fine.
So all month this month, I've been like I can't
say anything bad. I need to be so good. But
it's like fighting demons. It's like the angel and the
devil on my shoulder, Like Devil Tan is like say it,
say it, you know, It's like I can't um. I
(41:57):
don't know. I've just always been that way, Like I'm
just I'm too honest. I think I couldn't like hide it.
You know, you're good at that, like you know when
to just like not say some dumb ship. Yeah, I'm
learning slowly, but sure for sure. Yeah, I know the
leather is not I know, like in latex off it's
(42:20):
it's so hard sometimes. What do you think of cancel culture?
I think that it's actually funny because I feel like
when I first started, everything I was doing and I'm
you can obviously resonate with this as well. I guess
with the tabloids, it's always kind of existed for you.
You were you were really the start of like what
(42:41):
that felt like? That's crazy. I have so many questions
about that now that I think about it. But I
feel like the Internet hadn't really hit canceled culture peak
when I first started, Like it didn't matter. People could
say whatever and do whatever like on the internet, and
I just like I remember getting canceled just like worldwide
the first couple of times, like thinking my life was over,
and then kind of as time went on, I was
(43:01):
just like, oh, this is the way culture is shifting,
Like people care about something so much for twenty minutes
and then it's like people grow, people learn, and it's like,
you know what I mean, Like you can't cancel someone forever.
You can't exile someone off the face of this planet.
Like I guess for certain things you can, but I
mean for me, it's just like I've always said, like listen,
(43:22):
like I'm a human being who's doing this all in
front of you. Like if you think I'm Jesus, that's
where you're so you're letting yourself down. Like I'm bound
to make mistakes, but I do feel like I just
try to grow from them and learn from them. It's
hard to make your every mistake in the public eye.
You know, was the tabloid What do you feel like
it's worse the canceled culture during the tabloid error of
(43:45):
the canceled culture? Now, I think, yeah, it's completely just
changed so much. I think that with the Internet and
with everything happening, like a lot more is seen than
would have been seen before. Um. Yes, I think it's
just kind of changed the landscape of all of that.
How do you feel like the paparazzi following you and
(44:07):
like the way they were at that time, because I know,
obviously the paparazzi are so crazy. But the world has changed.
It's now fucked up to do the like you know
you Lindsay Brittany like that era, like what they were
doing to you guys now is like I feel like
it still happens, but you know what I mean, it's
just different. Um, how do you feel like that affected you,
like mentally, Like the paparazzi the way they were during
(44:29):
that time, it was intense, just so many cars chasing,
like even if you're trying to get away from them,
they just would not care and it would just be
scary sometimes or if you're just not in the mood.
I don't know if I'd be like leaving the dentist
and like my mouth is swollen, I don't want to
like talk or take pictures, and they're just like on
top of me, asking the craziest questions, all fighting with
(44:51):
each other over the photo or the video, like pushing
each other, like punching, going crazy, like police showing up
like things like that. So that could scary and just
driving fast and like scared that you're like crash into
someone that I didn't like. Um, but I feel like
now it's so different because with social media, as soon
as we post a photo of us in the outfit
(45:13):
like it's already out. So it's like their shots are
not as exclusive as it used to be. So I
think it's just kind of like hurt that business. A
lot of them free, which is great for you, but
it's crazy to probably think how much money you've made
people by them selling photos of you. Insane, like you've
(45:33):
set a generation of kids to college by just looking hot.
Like that's fucking crazy. That's a really crazy thought to have.
But yeah, it's changed a lot for sure. Yeah, I
feel like now even just like for me, it's like
when you see a camera flash, does it almost like
not like trigger you, but like do something to your mind,
or like you'll hear the clicking but like it's not happening.
(45:53):
Sometimes that would happen to me a lot because I
would just hear it when I would get home sometimes
because I'm so used to hearing it, which is sucking nuts.
The fighting is crazy too, It's a crazy like do
you have like a core memory of the craziest fight
you've ever seen. There's been a lot of them, but
I just remember leaving the Dao's restaurant all night and
they were just someone like tripped over someone and then
(46:14):
the other guy just like got so pissed and he
punched in the vase. And then for some reason, like
all of them started punching each other in the face.
Ten people like all going crazy and it's just a brawl. Yeah,
Like he was just like I was trying to get dinner.
I was just like trying to get in my car,
get the hell out of it it. And I feel like
you're so sweet too, like you probably felt like not
guilt for that, but you're like, oh my god, that's awful,
Like I felt bad. Yeah, it's almost like bleeding, like
(46:37):
just to get a picture, like chill. That's actually crazy.
What else do I want to know? I like, can
I grow parts? It's like her podcast, Like she's like
I'm I'm grilling her, like I don't know why. Let's see. Yeah.
I mean I feel like that era did affect you
and Brittany and Lindsay probably the most. It's crazy Brittany's
free finally, finally, that's you probably even saw so much
(47:01):
of that and knew about it way before like everyone
else did, and stuff like that. I think it's very
sweet how you support her, like the undying support you
have for her. I just saw something your Spotify wrapped
interview and you're like, my number one artist is Brittany.
I was like such a slice, such a good friend.
I feel like people are like and they're still so
hard on her, like the things she's saying and doing
(47:22):
and posting, and I'm like, no, but if you went
through that, you like you know what I mean. Like,
I feel like people just expected her to like come
out and snap perfectly back into like you know, but
it's like I can't imagine the trauma. Yeah, I can't imagine.
For thirteen years, where where did you just see her?
It was you were like with Selena and her her wedding.
(47:45):
That was her wedding. How was she like? How was
her demeanor? Could you could you happy? Just yeah, I'm
just happy having so much fun, dancing with everyone, good spirits.
That's so good. Even when you guys were um like
close back in the day day, like in the very
beginning she was under a conservatorship then yes, no, no,
(48:05):
but because she was right before, could you notice over
time like when you first knew her, from like when
she was under it to like now yeah, for sure,
that's so crazy. She was just so free and so
happy and just I don't know, it's amazing. And then
I think they just started trying to control her, which
is so unfair, so unfair. That's again, it's like my
biggest pet peeve. I think that's why I really felt
(48:26):
for that is just in this industry, like parents who
do know ship to their kids and stuff like, it's
just it's so weird to me and sad. That's so gross,
that's crazy. I'm so happy you came over and you
look beautiful, and I'm gonna kill it tonight at though
wordsully I do, Honestly, I'm gonna remember my Paris poses
and not be with my middle finger on my tongue
out on the carpet or or my nipples. I walk
(48:49):
in the first thing she literally said, she goes, I
can see your nipple. I go, looking great, like of course,
but that's happened so many times. I can think of like,
so many moments where I can literally see you nipple. Imagine.
I think that shouldn't be a core memory one at all.
But thank you for having me, my sliver, thank you
for everything staying Disney always in true Paris fashion, And yeah,
(49:13):
when I'm back on my podcast. I'd love to have
you come on. That would be fun, be fun, yeah, yes,
slive slive. Thank you guys, thank you for listening. Love,
