Speaker 1 (00:02):
The Real Houses I Miami talk about pure Bravo Real
Housewives TV.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
We're still behind.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
I'm behind because I roll though, bab, what did I go, Rogan,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Remember, but you told me I went watched Oau.
Speaker 3 (00:14):
I'm behind Atlanta. I watched Atlanta. This show really still
feels like a classic housewives show, and I'm really loving it.
This is how I think. That is what I really think, guys,
is really what I think. I could skip it. There's
so many things to watch. I'm not sure that that
needs to be on the dock.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
N damn it.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
You know me, I like a de mirror kiss and
every now and then you're like, give me tongue, and I'm.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Like, I feel completely alienated by you, Kibi. When we're
watching the show. I can't ask a question, I can't bat.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
A fucking I can't can't move the covers. I can't
stand when you move the cover.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Don't talk to me, You're so like.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
We watched two episodes the other night and I said, Babe,
would you stay up and watch more? You go, I'd
watch the entire season right now. We can stay up
till five morning.
Speaker 3 (01:09):
Already, ready, ready, I'm ready as ever.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
Ready, Ready, Ready, We're back back back rap Aports Reality.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
We are back back, chopping at the bit.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Yes, I'm a little nervous, to be honest about coming back.
It's been a break, so I, you know, got to
get my feet wet again. I don't know if I'm
doing this right.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
You're doing it fantastic. It's odd. My name is Michael.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Rappaport and I'm Kibi Rappaport.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
This is Rapaport's Reality, the podcast that the people wanted
and we have delivered, where we me and Michael Rapport
and my wife Kibe discuss all things reality TV, all
things popular culture, and a few things about the comings
and goings of our relationship, hence the title Rapaports Reality.
(01:59):
I am chomping at the bit. I understand that we
lose a little rhythm. I have been churning and burning
to get back to podcasting with you, babe.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Well, I'm there's a lot of things that I am
happy to get back to, but podcasting probably being the
last on the list, number five, let's say. But I'm
happy to get back to my summer salads and making
food for you and being with you and walking down
the street holding your hand. Or not holding your hand
or just being close to you, because I'll start by
(02:33):
asking you you were going a long time. And by
the way, you guys, I'm very uncomfortable talking about this
because this is like, even though it was announced in
the press, Michael was in Traders, he's part of this
season fours cast.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Yes, I mean I.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Saw about you. I didn't even read it, but you
left the list like it was papers upon papers of
like rules and regulations and before you get the airport
and all that being on the show and what you
can't say, you can't say.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Shit, can't say shit.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
So like you, you kindly wrote down a list of
questions for me to ask you, probably probably because you're
paranoid of like you don't want me to. But this
whole thing makes me nervous. I will share with everyone
what made me nervous, Michael, Can I say this? Can
I say doing the show I didn't want I mean
it was surrounding us our world. When we did the
Traders episode. I was excited because it's my favorite show. Okay,
(03:25):
and if you know my husband, he will take anything
of my favorite and over indulge in it. Like I
came into his life. I hid the Bravos the Housewives
from him, and next you know, he's on Watch What
Happens Live sixty eight times sixty times, right, So like,
here's my favorite show and they're asking you to do it.
The first thing I thought was like, no, I don't
want to come across as looking like a bald Wooden brother.
(03:46):
You Like, you know, you've had this thirty five year
illustrious career. You're one of our greatest actors of our time,
of our generation. It's true, you really truly are. You're
so gifted. You know, things in the business have changed
as I know, you podcasted, you have online persona that
you sort of created, and then your activism came as
a result of that and our judaism, all the things right,
(04:07):
And I was thinking, I have these certain images that
I know, and I sort of my intuition is kind
of it's one of my gifts. But I was like, ooh,
I don't know if that no other actor has done.
It's only for reality. So there's what are you doing there?
And it's because of that, I think they listened to
you and know how much you love it that they
asked anyway that being said, that was the one reason.
But the other reason is that I also don't want
(04:29):
to know how the sausage is made. So it's great
that you can't tell me things. So I'll ask the
first question is what can you speak about?
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Okay? That was a good that was a good opening diatribal,
that was good.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Okay, Well, I guess I've I've been chopping at the
bit too.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
I guess what can I speak about? Not much?
Speaker 1 (04:49):
It was reported that I did Season four Traders. Yes,
I can tell you this, and I could tell the
people this. The hardest thing was being away from you.
The hardest thing was was being away, and the hardest
thing along with that was not being able to communicate
when you want.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
On the phone.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Yes, I will say, the big, huge benefit of not
being on my phone literally, and if anybody knows me,
anybody's been around me, or anybody follows me, you can.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Tell tell he's always on his phone.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I am.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
What you see on social media is not just like happenstance.
I always got posting on social media. I'm checking out
other people's posts on social media. I like the phone, Yes,
I like the phone.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I will say the biggest benefit, aside from the fun
that I had doing the show, was realizing that I
have a serious phone addiction.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
And I never mentioned that ever ever.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Ever.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
It's it's bad and it was bad, but I extream.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
But but I do feel.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
Like, by the way, oh can I say something. This
was another reason why I was scared for you to
do it, because when I found out they take your phone,
they take any internet. You went out, you bought like
an MP three player so you could have music, and
I was like, this guy is not going to survive,
not without me. I mean, I know we're kind of
attached at the hip, but I met like literally survive you.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Well, thank God for that MP three player because.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
Breakdowns when they do Jurassic changes like that. You know,
mental health is real. Yes, so but and also I
knew that I could talk to you but in front
of someone which is on speakerphone, which is.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Absolutely Yes, that part of it was challenging. Yeah, I
will say.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
Like, babe, how are you. I'm like, I'm fine.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
The phone addiction that I have and the phone addiction
that I have come to terms with and fighting it
is the best part of my takeaway so far, because
I need to need to get off that phone. Wean
off that phone and being off the phone. As soon
as I got my phone back, I was like, Yo,
this is crazy, this is too much.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
And I've spent.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Years years because you I told you, I had said
to you. You were like that when we first got
back together with your BlackBerry and that was just tech
and that was just texting. I was like, who the fuck?
You were always on the couch in this position. I
can totally mimic you, and you were. You were so
fast with the fingers and I didn't. I never got
a phone until like the Android came, you know, so
I never had a BlackBerry, so I didn't get how
(07:17):
your fingers but you were on that thing.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yes, But now I am feeling like I have a
lot more perspective on the phone. I will say, as
far as what you can talk about right now, I
am just going to say I can't talk about anything.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
Good because I don't want to eat. I don't want
to be sued. I do not break the rules. I don't.
I'm paranoid, yes, and.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Me too, and I was.
Speaker 1 (07:37):
And also the thing about breaking rules, saying rules and
respecting the privacy is because as fans of the show,
you don't want to know what the fun.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
I don't. That's why I'm saying why you did it? Now?
I'm like, I was gonna if you tell me everything
that I'll take away the enjoyment I get when I want.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Well, I told you nothing, and I'm going to continue
to tell you nothing, and I'm going to continue to
share with the listeners of rap ports Rally.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
The bare minimum until they say you could share.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
That's exciting? How about that?
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (08:04):
But but I will say I had fun. I will
say I had a great time. I will say that
I'm glad they did it, and I will say that
I predict this season of Trader season four will be
the most watch most talked about, best season ever because
it just continues to get it better and better.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
I guess it's gonna be.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I agree. I think you being on it is a
big draw.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
I had a great time. It was fun.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
And now we're back, and we are back in an
incredible time in reality TV. I will say, I'm just
bring away.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
How did you feel about not watching? Because you could?
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Well, we watch. We fell so much. We're still behind.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
I'm behind because I fucking rogue though, Babe, what did
I go?
Speaker 2 (08:47):
Rogan? I don't remember? But you told me all I
went watched because.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Yeah, I'm behind Lana. I had watched Land out right
well all the Miami of course. By the way, hello,
I am not about to like sleep on Miami. Let
me And by the way, we're behind.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
We're behind a show, We're behind an episode.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
But man, the real houses in Miami talk about pure
Bravo Real Housewives TV. If you want pure Bravo Real Housewives,
watch Miami. It still has that unpredictability, that cookiness.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
There's really a feeling like these women are just being shot,
like they're just being filmed. You know, it's it's real. Yes,
it's like you know, we've seen another shows them, sort
of like what happened on the reboot of New York
and the Girls sort of manipulated some storylines and played
around with us audience members. But this show really still
feels like a classic housewives show. And I'm really loving it.
(09:43):
Even with somebody like Larsa Pippen, who's been in front
of her own camera before her own phone camera, she
still is coming with it so sharing her real life,
and I really appreciate and I love these women so much.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
And Miami coming right now, right before the summer started
heading heady, perfect heading and taking us through the summer
is fantastic.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yes, I want to bring this.
Speaker 1 (10:05):
Up to you right now, babe, and I didn't want
to talk about it the other day when we were
watching New York City Next Generation.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
It's not that it's not a good show.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
I just feel like watching New York City the Next Generation,
which if you guys haven't watched, is the reality seoan
Bravo where it's a bunch of housewives, sons and daughters,
few few and then.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
Like some friends and all that stuff.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
And we watched a few episodes and I gotta say,
maybe it's the age. Maybe it's that there's no one
and I say this with all due respect, there's no
quote unquote stars, there's no breakthrough stars. And I feel like,
and it's hard for me to even say. I feel like, Babe,
what do you think about us tapping out of.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Is that fucked up?
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Yeah? Well here's what job to watch. Here's what I
feel it's like.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Is this even saying it?
Speaker 3 (11:03):
I know, you know, we're quiet when we're watching it,
which is weird when we're just like that weird silence
when we were watching something.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
It's not bad.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
It's no, it's not. The show isn't bad. Here's my
problem with it. You know, when Teresa comes in, has lunch,
it comes into town and has lunch with.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Gia, Gia and Marx Marks, Mark's son.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
See there, there's where I am.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 3 (11:31):
I know he's great, but they're all great. Here's what
the thing though, is like we know them because of
their parents, and we when we're watching them, then when
they're on their perspective housewife shows, we want to see
how Teresa, Judice Jay's daughters act with their mother, right,
And I felt that was so when they came in,
I was like I perked up, right, there's Teresa right right,
(11:55):
so that Mark. Listen, here's where nepotism doesn't always work,
like it just does. It might not work. It might
not work. That's okay, like they on need to. And
also these kids like not coming into New York and
I kind of I'm intuiting that none of these motherfuckers
are gonna live in No.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
I think they're just there for the shop.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
It feels that way.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
And I a she grew.
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Up there because she's a true blue New york Er.
Dame dash her hip hop legend of father. Yeah, I'm
okay with it. And it can't be the age, babe,
because we're all up in Low Island, Like it's nothing
for us to watch a bunch of twenty two year
olds make up. Like we've gotten okay with that. So
I don't think it's an age. It's just something is
not hitting. It's not flashy enough. They're not that interesting.
(12:43):
I mean, the biggest interesting storyline so far as the
Mars Kids doesn't like the Charlie kid wanting asking the
sister out on a date, Like what's the problem, Like
it's redundant already. And I think Kim Zosiak's daughter is interesting.
It's like, yes, she's you know, apple doesn't fall far
from the tree in terms of like how she behaves,
(13:03):
what comes out of her mouth. I guess we could
stick with.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
It a little bit more.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
I guess. I guess we have to.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
There's a girl on there that doesn't wash her hands apparently.
I mean, I just I feel.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
I guess we have to sleep it because we love that.
Maybe it'll turn.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
It's just harder when there we have kids that are
twenty five and twenty three and I'm like, what am
I watching? I don't even want to watch my own twenty.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Five and twenty three, So sure try to figure out
New York or not figure it out, or I don't know.
I just I'm not. Riley is like, I mean, she
hardly spoke on her show with her mom Candy Ona
ind Atlanta, so and now she speaks a little bit
like no, I'm just I gotta say not at everybody
in the family's going to be a star.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
All right, Well, let's that's my.
Speaker 3 (13:47):
Harsh kind of ok. This is how I think. This
is what I really think, guys, is really what I think.
I could skip it. There's so many things to watch.
I'm not sure that that needs to be on the docket.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Damn it. Also, the other thing we're having problems, you.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
Were enjoying Love Island when I was away in Scotland
last year's.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Had nothing else but love Okay, nothing.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
But Love Island is another one where I'm like, what
the fuck?
Speaker 3 (14:24):
I would stop To be honest, I would stop it
and change a channel and go to a below Deck.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
When you were watching Love Island, all of.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
The franchises A below Deck are give they give a lot,
They're amazing shows. Yes, I love them so much so
now I rather watch that. And I know you kind
of like are in and out on the blowdecks at you?
Speaker 2 (14:46):
No, I like below Deck. It's Love Island, which they
put out a lot of content.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Every night for Wednesday nights, like five six.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Episodes a week, which I could respect, and I appreciate
the commitment, but the sexual.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
And I'm like, what is going on? Like when people
first meet, they just literally will stick their tongues down
to another person. And this is no proode.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
I am no, No, you're not proof and might have
a past. I know you hate to hear it, but
it's true. But walking up to a stranger, I know,
it's just got it's gross. And then they kiss the
same It's all I think about. I don't know if
it's my age. It's like I'm becoming like I don't
know what. All I think is like every kiss, I'm
like remember COVID, Like, like, what what is happening? What's uh?
(15:34):
One of the kids at one point had something on
his lip and it looked like a cold sort at
one point and he still maybe it wasn't allegedly, I
don't I'm not even saying allegedly because I don't think
it was. But I looked like that. Looking like that
was enough for me to be like, you can't go
down the line of ladies just sucking face.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
But they don't start with a closed mouth kiss and
then open Oh no, the tongue in the mouth full on,
and I'm I'm like, this is wild.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
I don't like that, you know me. I like a
de mirror kiss and every now and then you're like,
give me tongue, and I'm like, do you know what's
in between your teeth? Not you, not you, Michael, but
like in the human beings. So I don't think you
need to get it. Doesn't need to be sexy to
be like, let me open my mouth and gorge your face.
And these girls, I think they think that's what's hot,
and the guy say it, that's what's hot, and you
(16:23):
know what I don't like. Also, they had the competition
of like with the new batch of girls who come
in and the guys have the blind vote on and
then they rate the person's kiss. I was like, what
is happening in our society?
Speaker 2 (16:34):
I know? I know?
Speaker 1 (16:35):
And then but they would all get their feelings hurt
if somebody said something that could.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
It's just it's listen, you rate me as a kisser. Great,
that's not a rat fantastic twel to be honest. Twelve nineteen, Yeah,
I give you eighteen. I gave you eighteen and a half.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
I give you eighteen.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
I just I just think it's last season.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
The cast was lightning in a bottle.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
Not totally.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
Kids are not good, but it just it's true.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
I said that I thought that they weren't. Am I interrupting.
I don't think I'm interrupting a lot. I think that
I don't like the show anymore. That's my final thing.
Those two shows I can wipe away because there's some
good TV that we're missing. I think Alan Shapiro told
us about that show which started we started excellent.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
And then there's Tom Hardy. Yeah, your friend, you know
what I watched when I was away. I don't know
if I told you this, I mentioned it. I finished
Your Friends and Neighbors with Johann started that, which is good.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I like. I like the show.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
I don't know if there's a season two in that show.
Just because it got all that I did finish it.
It's good, it's well done. He's good all the actors
are good, actresses are good. Uh, the story's good, it's fun.
It's not reinventing the wheel in terms of the anti
hero hero. But I watched that. We watched Mobland. You
know what else we need to watch because love Ultimatum
(17:59):
is ultimatum.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
Oh well we what were called the ultimatum Queer the
queer one.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
The queer love.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Queer Love.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yo, that's another show. It ultimatum queer Love. And just
as we recorded this episode of rap ports Reality, the
final episodes and of the reunion.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
I can't wait. That's a good That is a good show.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
And I was just doubting it at first.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
I know you doubted it.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
But I like how First of all, I think it's
an incredible thing for the LGBTQ community to show these
women they're smart, they're beautiful, they're beautiful in different ways.
They're very not what you think, they're very vulnerable, and
I think it's a great representation for the LGBTQ.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
Am I leaving any letters out, I think or lgbt
LGBTQ and anybody else.
Speaker 3 (18:52):
Anybody different, anybody who loves differently representation.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
I think it's it's about the relationship it's not this
like over sex thing that I think people might have
these preconceived notions. And the entire cast is all very sweet,
loving and very different, and I think it's compelling and
I cannot wait to watch.
Speaker 3 (19:11):
I love it too. The first one, the first season
of it, I loved. I don't think you watched it,
which made us watch the second when we got a
little bored because with the docu style kind of drama
when they sit at the table with all the you know,
the host is because it gives a little slow but
I like it.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Because they could have a better host. And no disrespect
to that host.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
But I agree, I agree. I feel like they need
somebody a little bit more dynamic and engaging. I feel
that way about her. But the kids are great, but
all the women are amazing, interesting, multifaceted. You're right and
vulnerable and not that we're sitting here going like oh
for them, for the community. It's it's a really really
(19:54):
beautiful thing.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
And it's a great show. It just it just works.
I will tell you this. I want to share few things.
Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders is back on Netflix, and I know
a couple of people already started watching it.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
We we just got started.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
We talked about it really, really positively and maybe fawning
over it last sea. And for me, when I'm watching
the show, I can't tell one girl from the next girl.
I can't tell if one girl's dancing better than the
next girl.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Well, the dancing, you can't, but you can't tell these
girls this time. They don't. None of them look alike.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Babe. I can't tell one from the other. But that's
just because it's me.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
It's probably like when you're watching football, you're like, oh,
number three, Like I, I can't tell one from the other.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
That's what when you meet a new person the other day,
you met somebody that and I gave her whole backstory
when I in front of her and this is da
da da da da da da da, and you're like,
uh huh.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
And then I go, wait, you can't tell the redheaded
hot girl from the Latina hot girl. And I'm sitting
there going, I don't know. I can't tell the difference.
I can't tell who's who. I can't tell why you're going, oh,
she's killing it, or the coaches are going she's I
don't you could.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
Tell the one girl that's mom as a coach. She
was not great?
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Is that her mom I did.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
When she was dancing, you could tell that that dance
wasn't making listen.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
Well, then they were pointing around, she's off beat, she's
this that, and the third she jet.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
I mean, with your own eyes, you could see that
she wasn't she wasn't giving, like it wasn't giving.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
But the show itself is excellent, and I want to
state this for the people. I feel completely alienated by you, Kibi.
When we're watching the show. I can't ask a question,
I can't bat a fucking I can't can't move the cover.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
I can't stand when you move the cover.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Don't talk to me. You're so like.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
We watched two episodes the other night and I said, Babe,
would you stay up and watch more? You go? I'd
watch the entire season right now. We could set up
till five in the morning. And I'm like, I've never
seen you so captivated and compelled so much.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Why do you love it?
Speaker 3 (22:00):
There's another show of it too, Passitude.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
The reason why I'd love it and the reason why
we love it last year is because, like any great docuseries,
and this isn't a reality. So this is a docuseries,
any great docuseries. Everybody has a story, and I could
relate to the dream. I could relate to wanting to
do and give up and commit to get something that
you want, and every single one of these girls works
(22:24):
their asses off so hard to accomplish the dream. It
reminds me of when I was a young actor. I
still have that feeling now, like you want to get this,
you want to get that, But as a young actor,
as these are young Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
That's part of the story.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Whether you're a guy, whether you're not a guy, whether
you're a cheerleader lover or could care less, that part
of the story is so relatable and I think makes
it special. Aside from the fact they're cute girls. I
will say I feel like the Dallas Cowboy childers should
have a age limit because when they're like, well she's eighteen, I'm.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Like, yeah, what's kind great, we don't need an eighteen
I mean, here's what I'll say. We talked about this
for when in the first season. Listen. I love it
so much because I love women. I love athletic women
even more, and cheerleading is athletic dance is athletics. It's
(23:14):
a people who use their bodies in these degrees. It's
just like people who use their voice. These are highly
gifted people. It's a certain part of your brain that
has to be very strong to do this kind of
dancing and performing. That being said, I also love it
for what you're saying. The idea that some of these
girls knew that they wanted to be a Dallas Cowboys
(23:35):
cheerleader at ten years old. Yeah, and they achieve it,
or they get there, or they get close is amazing
to me. It's just like when I watch this Simone
Bios documentary, right, it's dreams. They even maybe defer during
the time that we've watched them, they're still accessible and
these women desire it so bad. And I love to
(23:57):
see people win meat it's something that they want. And
when it comes to women and their bodies and athleticism,
if you could put a show on about women and
wanting to be in the Supreme Court and I'm asleep already,
forget it. I'm not watching. But when it's like it's athleticism,
I'm so into it.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
I don't know. Yeah, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. If you have
not watched it, another great show that just started. This
it ain't a bad time for reality TV right now.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
I had a question for you. There's one girl on
the show. I wish I knew all of their names.
I don't either, but she's a tall, light skinned black
girl with light curly hair.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
I think her name is Jada.
Speaker 3 (24:32):
Oh okay, maybe see there you do now you're right.
Maybe it was Jada, Yes, because she got picked.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
To be the one in the I remember it. Jada. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
Well, you know there's in one of her interview packages
she says something about, you know, even though things have
gone on since nineteen fifty, thinks some things have to change.
And I thought it was interesting, but the tradition, and
I'm of the idea that some things don't have to change. Listen,
you know what it is. It's the teeny teeny short.
(25:00):
Oh yeah, you know what it is. This is what
it is. What are you going to change it to?
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Right?
Speaker 3 (25:04):
So, but the women who run it, the two women
forty years in one of them, I think, yeah, I
have respect for their passion and their dedication to something right. Yes,
I don't get caught up in the judging of like,
oh it's outdated. And she cares about what she looks.
This is what it is like. I care. I'm like,
if you make that better, even better and better better,
(25:25):
whatever that is to you. I just I don't get
caught up and they're like, oh my god, I can't
believe these women are like doing it. Nope, sorry, this
is what they're doing.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Those women are bad ass.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
Make a show about women, rodeo stars. I'm watching it.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
Hey, they do it all. At this point, there's shows
about everything. I got no problem. Well you didn't ask
me the question. Well, you said, I have a question.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
How did you feel about that? When she said, well.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
I thought that it was going to get into because
apparently they didn't get into it. I had read a
blurb about the show and read a blurb about the
Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders. That's since last season. I thought it
was going to go into the pay because they sort
of dipped into it. And since last season the cheerleaders
(26:08):
Dallas Cowboy Cheelers four hundred percent pay increase, which which
is great, but Donald should not be having side.
Speaker 3 (26:16):
Do you think that's the changes she was talking about?
Like that, Okay, it wasn't the you know, it wasn't
like the shortation of women or something like that. I
are just like I mean, these ladies are critical. You
don't get better by somebody saying that's great.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
I think that if people are comfortable, people are feeling
good about themselves. I don't care if you're in the
Dallas Cowboys shorts. I don't care if you're on Leve Ultimatum.
I don't care if you're on Love Island. I think
that people. I truly believe that the most important thing
is belief in yourself. I really truly believe that you
know you.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
I mean, I got a I got a second. Sorry
to inter but you really do. Because in places where
you feel that I don't totally believe myself, you highly
encourage me constantly.
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Is the most important.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Yeah, And you're right. And it's something that even when
I was a professional athlete, I didn't have it like
I I didn't have total one the kind of belief
that you need in yourself and.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
And ebbs And by saying it doesn't mean I have
it mastered. I'm trying to give any false impressions.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
I am is.
Speaker 3 (27:19):
I think you you charge through that wall though when
you don't like that's one thing I'll charge that you charge.
You're not your fear is not a friend. You don't
make fear friend.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
And I know you have to make fear your friend.
You have to make fear your friend. You have to
love the fear.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
You have to hold his hand and go through it. Yeah.
You see, I'm like, okay if that I have a
distant relationship in that way with fear. Yeah, and also
with self confidence, selfish, have self assurance like I I have.
People think I'm really self confident because I'm blunt and
I say what I feel, and I actually don't.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
You're blunter than me.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
I want to share something with the people that Kibi
is way more of a real life troublemaker and potstar
than I am, babe, just.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
But I also know one to stay out of stuff
when I.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Sometimes like we wait, babe, did I the day and
I was like, why are you even bringing that up?
Speaker 3 (28:15):
I wasn't harsh, but I was. I just like it
was testing the person.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Why are you even like have a feel like.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Yeah, I was tested? Anyway. My point is is that
I sometimes like to test a little bit, you know, yeah,
test to see what people are made of. And then
I make a decision and I I say, okay, I
know what this is, but I'll tell you. I was
I don't think I told you this. When you were away,
somebody came and knocked on the door and was like
boom boom boom boom boom, and my self confident aggressive,
(28:48):
like don't fucking knock on my door like that. You're
knock on the door like you're the police.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
Who was it?
Speaker 3 (28:53):
It was some guy who wanted to see if you
wanted to switch. I say, your neighbors or on this
and you can't, man, and did one of those things
nice car in the drug you know, And I'm a
woman and I'm like, uh uh, and I let him
have it. I said, you're lucky my husband's I mean,
it was crazy. I was like, I've turned into this
post medicine pazzle mean black woman, like I really was.
(29:15):
I was like, WHOA Like I but you know what,
I think that he will close I said, that's not
how you're going to close the deal. Yeah, because he
knocking on people's like he said, I want I like
to keep a funky said, there's a DOORBELLA dance class fucker,
this is my door. Hit the doorbell scared me. I mean,
I was running around jumping on a zoom, and I
was late, and I was trying to make myself something
(29:36):
to eat to keep my blood sugar up.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
That's a whole other podcast.
Speaker 3 (29:39):
That's a whole other podcast. Anyway, I will say I
have confidence in certain ways, but other ways I let
doubt creep in. And you're very, very good at encouraging
me to I just wanted to give you a public
shout out to that because I think it's.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
I do say you mean, well, there's five hundred other
things that are important, but I think it all sort
of goes back to that believe So, yeah, and that's
been something that unfortunately I've been able to fight and
push through.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Wait, well really quickly, Where did you learn that from
my father?
Speaker 1 (30:09):
That's one of the things my father told her confidence? Confidence,
And I was I could see that. Actually I was
such a I don't even want to go.
Speaker 3 (30:16):
With you were arrogant when I met you.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
No, no, no, no, this like I would even I was whatever.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
But he put that, that's amazing, and he explained to
me what the word meant when we were young, confidence
having confidence?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Yet how young, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve years.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
Amazing My mom would give me speeches upon speeches because
coaches would come and be like, you know, she's an
olympian and but she's missing this one thing that you
really need and she kind of has it, but you know,
mental my mom would I'm not paying all that fucking
money to train you. And because back then, I mean,
training me was the same amount as our rent. It
was so expensive to put a single mom put a
(30:51):
daughter in club Jim gymnastics, And it was one thing
I didn't even actually know what they meant. As much
as she would pontificate and explain it, I didn't understand
it in my soul because I was the type of
kid that was the fastest on the block. But I'd
let you win if I saw you wanted it more right,
That's just my personality.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
Speaking of confidence, there's no confidence segue here. We brought
up Larsa Pippen a few minutes ago, and I wanted
to share something with you. Larsa Pippen, who's a great
and sweetest could be. And Wendy Williams, she couldn't be sweeter.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
And more soft, and we ran into her and Marcus
Jordan Brava con she was lovely totally not what I
would like. She's really darling and sweet.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
Very soft spoken. It almost seems shy. So I'm not
this has nothing to do with her. But a couple
of years ago, she was dating an NBA player named
Malik Beasley. Malik Beasley at one point was teammates with
her son, Scotty Pippen Junior, who's having a very good
young year. Yeah, he's doing he's gonna He's never gonna
be his dad, but he's having he's going to be
(32:10):
Scotty Pippen Junior, like he's gonna be in the NBA,
in the NBA.
Speaker 2 (32:13):
He's in the NBA and he's he's young, he's like twenty.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
That's incredible.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
But he's gonna, you know, continue to have a thriving career.
But Malik Beasley, who was dating.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
Larsa Pippen and Larsa Pippen at one point, she goes, yeah,
I don't know if I realized at the time when
I was dating him that he was teammates with my son,
And it might have had something to do with COVID.
It was post COVID and COVID. She made a funny
joke about, however, Maliite Beasley. This is a sports thing,
but it's tied together with Larsa Pippen is now being
seriously investigated and possibly kicked out of the NBA for
(32:47):
gambling on NBA games Wow that he played in, which
is wow.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
She knows how to pick him number one.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
I just wanted to throw that out here as a
Larsa Pippen throw.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
I wonder so this was post this was before market,
just before Marcus.
Speaker 1 (33:04):
Then this was after Mark m Ship. I think this
was after Marcus. I feel like this, but I might
be wrong. Okay, I may be wrong, but she did
publicly date Malik Beasley either before Marcus Jordan after Marcus Jordan.
But he was in fact, at one point a teammate
of Scout, which.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Is way out there. That's way the funk out.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
So she's done a teammate and then a husband's teammate
of the Sun and now and the husband children. Girl,
you better, you need to take a break. That's not good. Yeah,
you find yourself a nice banker.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
But you're great on Real House.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Great.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
She's giving a lot this season with her vulnerability, even
even sharing the breakup with Marcus and the mean tag
and it's a lot because she she strikes me as
very private and really just showing what she wants to show.
And the fact that she's on here and they were
really committed, we're in love. I don't care what anybody
thinks her and Marcus, you know, and now that it
turned out the way it was, and she has to
(34:04):
come in now with you know, sort of mud on
her face, going like, yeah, this is what my kids
were even saying, this wasn't good.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
No ship, everyone say.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Everybody was saying no.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
One needed to run that up the flag pole to
sy whether that was good or not good. None of
you dating Michael Jordan's son and your Larsa Pippen, anyone
could say this is not right. But they had a
nice run anyway. Another I don't know they had a
good run for them. They were I don't know.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
According to how he used to talk to her, I
don't think it was good. And now we know he
does the booger sugar allegedly, well, allegedly, there's pictures and
allegedly really allegedly allegedly. I don't know when you're supposed
to say allegedly, allegedly, allegedly alleged, I didn't even know
if that was whipped cream that I saw in the picture.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Allegedly allegedly whipped cream. What do we say you saw it?
Speaker 3 (34:58):
They showed it on the show.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
Yes, I don't want nothing to do with no lawsuits,
especially with no Jordan's family member. Another thing that I
wanted to share with you is, I don't know if
you know this. Joe Judice has put out a public
plea to try to get Donald Trump. Joe Judice ex
husband of Teresa Judas, father of all their children, obviously, so.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
He can come back.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
And I agree.
Speaker 3 (35:21):
I agree.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
They fucked away and he said, yo, I grew up
in New Jersey. My family's from New Jersey. I did
my time.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
They need to let this guy and he's come visit.
It's terrible.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
It's terrible. I agree.
Speaker 2 (35:33):
Even though he was a prick, he got.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
The other reality stars out.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Yeah, I mean, like, at least let him at least
have some visitations.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Crazy, it's six streme.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
I feel bad for Joe Judice too, And you know,
he did his he went to prison and now he
can't come back because he was born but in the
rest of his life he was he was in New Jersey,
it's not cool.
Speaker 2 (35:54):
So I feel like Donald Trump. That would be a
good part of Joey.
Speaker 3 (35:59):
Let's do it Trump.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
We could say what we.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
Want about him and what kind of husband he was,
but he clearly and they love him.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
He clearly love kids love him, they adore him.
Speaker 3 (36:08):
They need their dad.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
It's not fair. It's not fair anyway. There's so much
to discuss in the world of reality TV. And we
are cooking. We are cooking with gas. We are not
going to be away from you guys the rest of
