Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ladies and Jules.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
You want experience during your football season, well, buckle up,
sweet cheeks. What's always We've got all the experience in
the world.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
This is I want your flex.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
With Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon. Mike and Dan break
down everything you need to set your lineups, from position
rankings to starts and sits. The guys help you make
those hard decisions. And now let's get your flex sod.
Here's Dan Bayer and Mike Harmon Week fourteen.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
If I want your flex, I call it winning time.
Hitting Mike up at swollen Domeni can find Ian Roddy
at Ian Roddy Underscore. We'll have some survivor picks, some
points of palooza. Ian's gotta streaming defenses. But we always
start with Mike's rankings. But even before we get to that,
Cowboys and Lions put on quite a show on Thursday night. Mike,

(00:55):
Lions get the big victory, some big point games for
guy like Jim Gibbs. George Pickens' effort is question ceedee
Lambs knocked out. So maybe even more storylines to go
outside of the game or after the game than we
had coming into it.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, just craziness. All around.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
I mean the Cede Lambs scenario scary. We were on
air Smith and I doing our show as that happened,
and you saw the hands and it's like art did
he get caught up? And it's like the way he hit,
the way he can tour it, It's like, all right,
what happened? Then you see the replay immediately see the
fencer's posture and he was up on the sideline. So

(01:32):
hopefully a short lived thing for him, but you know,
get back on the field, you know, get get the
little extra break here. But was having himself a huge
day six for one twenty one. I was following you
were a Guillotine League team there, Dan between that and
Jamiir Gibbs. You had yourself a day seven for seventy
seven and then you get the forty three yards. Yeah,

(01:55):
I mean it wasn't he wasn't running gangbusters. That keep
showing very safd like he's not running like that except
for the one run. But forty three and three for
a huge day. Both quarterbacks we expected huge things. Detroit's
defensive front did a great job on Prescott a lot
of yards, but boned up when it mattered. Five sacks
on the day two interceptions, which is the old if

(02:18):
you actually watched the games. Neither of them were Prescott's fault,
and I'm not sure the second one was legitimately an interception,
but they all count just the same, and we move on.
The George Pickens story is really the one that takes
on legs beyond the fantasy world going forward.

Speaker 5 (02:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Absolutely, I have a share of Pickins in one of
my leagues, and that bomb. I didn't know what was
going on in terms of the effort there.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
I thought the defender is in his way. It looked
like he quit, But also what doesn't help is that
it looked like he quit in a couple of routes earlier,
so maybe it made that one look worse. But the
Cowboys continue to be a story now a long shot
to make the postseason, while the Lions put themselves at
least in position to continue to try to break through
and get into the field of seven for the NFC.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
I love that he picked the week that I called
him better than Ceedee Lamb to do this.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Wow, I mean, swe.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Did you know it was also on the heels of
where I said Ceede Lamb was a better route runner.
But I'm going to just throw one up to Pickens
and let him get it, and then he just lets
it hit the turf.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
So that yeah, that play just a million times? Was
he thinking he was No, that guy was by him
and kind of walking past him. He wasn't going to
get blown up. Yeah, if he made an effort on
the ball. Was curious. The other side of things, though,
the Aman Ross Saint Brown activation and eventually a six
catch ninety two yard game. I wonder how many people

(03:39):
benched him because the early day reports were not positive
at all, and then all of a sudden he's out
there catching the first pass, waving his arms thumbs up.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Yeah, this was like, oh okay, that escalated quickly.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I guarantee people didn't want to get caught with their
pants down, especially in what is the end of the
regular season for many You mentioned the guillotine. I think
that Ryan Berschinger, our teammate at Fox, had him in
guillotine and didn't play him because you didn't want him
to go out there and not be effective. But then,
i'm an Ross said after the game that he knew
yesterday he was going to play. Now, I guess they

(04:14):
could be coy with it, because if he's questionable, he's questionable.
But I wouldn't have played him if I had a
decent option next to him. So like in a guillotine league,
maybe your league is loaded. If it's in my normal league,
I probably would have just had to throw him in there,
because that's who you're kind of hoping for. So hopefully
people did, but it was right up until the inactives

(04:37):
ninety minutes prior that we weren't service status.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Yeah, it's funny you mentioned just where we're at in
the guillotine leagues. Right for those that don't know, you're
you chop each week, you know, always trying to educate
and inform, and folks haven't seen this format, which means
you're down to five teams if you played the full season.
So while not every roster is going to be stacked,

(05:00):
some of the budget management and waiver wins losses along
the way, you're certainly at a position where maybe you
would have had another option that you said is equal
to or better than in a standard league, would add
no choice but to just say, okay, I'll roll the dice. Yeah,
it's still the Cowboys defense that hasn't proven against a
really good opponent that they're ready for operations shut down.

(05:23):
But yeah, just a tough spot, no question, especially on
the Thursday night.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Well, let's get into it. The week fourteen rankings. Mike Carmen,
Who are your top five quarterbacks heading into the weekend.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
Some of the our usual suspects make the list, a
couple of counterintuited plays, but let's go Josh Allen going
u against Cincinnati. Well, this is easy, right, We're talking
about one of the most generous defenses going out there
back to back subpar game. So a little bit of
nervousness in trepidation as to what we're going to get
because he hasn't.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Put the cape on every week.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
But he's still number one for the season, averaging about
twenty three and a half points per game.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I have a number two at Joe Burrow.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Nineteen and a point two his return against Baltimore. Buffalo
second best against quarterbacks, but as we know Joe Burrow,
he's a different animal and he should have the full
complement of receivers at his disposal. Matt Stafford going up
against Arizona. He's seventh overall, averaging twenty fantasy points per week.
Roller coaster the last four weeks. He's done the well

(06:20):
kind of Jamier Gibbs right, massive games with three touchdowns
a couple of times.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
And then in between. We're gonna take the week off.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Same thing with Stafford twenty six thirteen to twenty three,
thirteen point six, Arizona tenth best, but looking to make
some hey here, Baker Mayfield going up against Orleans. Still
no Mike Evans, still no McMillan just yet, only one
twenty point game in his last six and New Orleans
eleventh best. But this is one of those rubber meets
the road. I'm going for them being a big favorite

(06:51):
at home that this is a game that they get over.
The return of Bucky Irving last week reopens the offense
to a degree not for everybody, though, we'll get into
as the show continues, but Jalen Hurt's finishing it out.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
Going up against the Chargers.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
You're looking at some middling fantasy performances overall these last
couple of weeks, and the Chargers are the third best
against quarterbacks, giving up just fourteen fantasy points per game.
I'm expecting a big effort out of Philly in this one.
I don't think they lay down just yet. The Chargers

(07:27):
have their injury issues of their own that we'll get to.
But for Hurtz, we still have the potential of that
big game, still third overall at nearly twenty one Fantasy
points per game on the year, so looking for him
to make some hay.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
You mentioned Joe Burrow, your second quarterback getting all of
his weapons back. Yes, T Higgins has cleared concussion protocols,
so Higgins will be available to the Bengals in what
is a game that is very intriguing. But because of
all the divisional matchups that we have this week, with
so much on the line, even Bengals Bills gets a
little bit overshadowed when people are focusing on Raven Steelers

(08:02):
and Mike your Bears taking on the Packers. But yeah,
just some really great games. Something we talked about earlier
in the week in our earlier podcast, which we always
by the way, I recommend you go back and listen
to Let's look ahead, all right. Jamiir Gibbs played Thursday night.
Christian McCaffrey is on buy. Who is going to be
the top running back four Week fourteen? For Mike Harmon,
it is we had.

Speaker 4 (08:24):
To find another guy, so it becomes Jonathan Taylor. He
slides back up. He's only a thirteen point six point
week thirteen. But you know, even without the benefit of
the passing game, and that's one of the downsides in
the Jonathan Taylor world. And certainly Indianapolis's offense hasn't been

(08:44):
robust here. We've got some sub ten games for Taylor recently.
Jacksonville also a top five against the run. But Taylor
usually performs pretty well in these divisional contests, and I'm
expecting him to take on a big warkload on the
road here over under a forty seven. India slight road
favorite in this one. James Cook coming up again. Cincinnati

(09:07):
is second. Last three games, we're looking at a nineteen,
a twenty point four, and a seventeen point seven, and
the Bengals the worst against opposing rushers, so let's take
advantage of that. Devon Ahchen over the last four starts
averaging over twenty two fantasy points per game, and we're
looking at some big back to back efforts for him.

(09:28):
Jets six most fantasy points allow per game, seventh most
rushing yards allowed per game, and as we know, one
little hint of daylight and away they go. Miami is
suddenly playing some interesting football here, A big divisional road
tilt for them gets the Jets team that you know,
they're not quitting for you, Ian, They're still battling.

Speaker 6 (09:47):
They are, they are. I may or may not have
them in the streaming defenses.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
I considered it.

Speaker 6 (09:52):
At least, but we'll have to stay.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
They may or may not be in the survivor pick.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
How about that?

Speaker 5 (09:58):
How about we'll t right.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
It's the most Jets talk we've done in a while.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
Crazy Josh Jacobs going against the Bears, only nine point
six points in his return last week, Bears middling against
the run. Look, we know they'll let you go in
between the twenties. Question is can you cash in? And
finally Chase Brown, who's been fantastic, averaging fifteen points per
game over his last four that's tenth amongst running backs

(10:24):
in Buffalo. While they've been pretty good against passing games,
they've been siv like against opposing rusher's fifth most fantasy
points per game allowed to running backs.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
You know the great thing is because of the trip
to Buffalo earlier this year, I've still got it in
my phone as a destination for weather seventy percent chance
of precipitation high thirty one for Bill's Bengals.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
How about that?

Speaker 3 (10:47):
So that'll be it could be some fun in Buffalo
coming up on Sunday. All right, let's get to the
wide receivers. Mike your top five for week fourteen.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
More Bengals love, with Jamar Chase up the top fourteen
and a half in his return suspension. Now a little
bit concerned because the ceiling has been lowered. Fifteen point
one or fewers for last four appearances. Fifteen point three
fantasy points per game, Still pretty solid on the whole.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
For the year.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Eleventh best are the Bills against wideouts give it up
just a total of twenty four fantasy points spread around,
but again number one, big winning time. And with the
Pittsburgh Steelers in Baltimore Ravens Bowl wheel reeling with so
many injury issues and ineffectiveness, Lamar Jackson got stepped on.
Is every part of his body gonna get hurt by

(11:38):
just random practice accidents.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
At this point?

Speaker 4 (11:41):
But like all of a sudden, the Bengals have so
much to play for and Joe Burrow I think we
see some of his best AJ Brown going up against
the Chargers. He's been on fire ever since he told
everybody to drop him in Fantasy, back to back huge
games eighteen catches two, forty two and three, and then
you have the game before that where he had seven

(12:01):
catches for forty nine yards, charges best against wideouts. I'm
going counterintuitive that he comes up with another big effort
here JSN against Atlanta. Season high thirty three in Week twelve,
just three point three last week. Overall, still averaging eighteen
point two Fantasy points per game.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
I got a dance with who brung me?

Speaker 4 (12:22):
You know, there's my English major really coming into play
there with that sentence structure. Atlanta thirteenth, most generous to
opposing wideouts, Puka Takua four straight under fifteen, So a
little bit of hand ringing here. Last twenty plus point
game was Week four, so you know he's not getting
the glory in the red zone.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
We'll get into that a little.

Speaker 4 (12:43):
Bit more as we go. But still looking for some
big opportunities here against Arizona. And then finally Nico Collins
just one touchdown here in his last five games receiving.
He had that rushing touchdown, but three of his last
four He's gone over nineteen points, double digit targets four
of five and here against Kansas City in a huge

(13:04):
game in the AFC.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Good to see aj Brown back in the rankings, and
you have to think JSN is going to bounce back
from what happened last week against Minnesota. It was a
win for the Seahawks, but a loss for a lot
of people who had some JSN shares because it was
by far his worst performance of the year, not even close.
But we'll see if they rebound against a banged up
Falcons team one of the matchups we've got four week fourteen.

(13:28):
There they are your top five rankings quarterback, running back,
and wide receiver. Mike takes a shot at the hop
plays cold soars in Ninjas plus Ian's streaming defenses all away.
It's all coming up next here on I Want Your Flex.
Welcome back to Why I Want Your Flex. He is
Mike Carmen. Hit him up at Swallen Dome. I'm Dan Byer.
Find me at Dan Byer on Fox and Ian Roddy

(13:48):
our executive producer at Ian Roddy Underscore also on Blue
scot Ian Underscore. Roddy right, was that what it was?
I think that's right, jumped the gun and got ahead
of him. I knew we'd bring the Blue Sky back.
I just didn't know when I figured Week fourteen.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
Would be the opportunity nictually did.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
Yes, All right, let's get to the hot place, Mike,
your hot plays for week fourteen.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
I'm gonna guy back and he's cleared to go. I
have no idea what to expect, but damn it, am
I intrigued. And that's Jayden Daniels going up against Minnesota
average early nineteen Fantasy points at his five starts this year.
Open things up. Terry McLaurin back and healthy. So I'm
rolling him up as a hot play for this one
as we are missing, you know, Brock Purdy and Drake

(14:33):
May and this one. And that's it a little bit
of Jackson Dart. I guess if you're willing to bet
that he finishes a game. One of the discussion points
from earlier in the week, of course, Jordan Love going
up against Chicago looking for them to make some AA.
This one is only at forty four and a half.
We mentioned the cold weather for this one a curiosity

(14:55):
or I had sixteen degrees or thereabouts when we're talking
about the tempts, so they could deflate the football a
little bit. But only two twenty point games since Week
four for him, But the Bears pretty generous bottom ten,
giving up over nineteen fantasy points per game. Daniel Jones
against Jacksonville again a little counterintuitive. He's got four straight

(15:18):
at seventeen or less, but tied for ninth. Most are
the Jaguars generous to opposing quarterbacks? Howbout the other side
of that matchup with Trevor Lawrence back to back twenty
point games, Do we dare call it a streak?

Speaker 1 (15:31):
Gentlemen?

Speaker 4 (15:31):
Do we dare call it a streak? That he can
get things going with Jacoby Myers Once again.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Colts have always had trouble in Jacksonville, so this could
lend to that that maybe the Jaguars could continue their
winning ways and are actual really good team in the NFL.

Speaker 1 (15:47):
Yeah, he had four catches for thirty two yards as
a member of the Raiders against this team earlier this year.
Eighteen catches in four games back to back with a touchdown,
ten for one hundred and forty over the last two.
So we get Jacobe Myers in as well.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
Quinn John Judkins sixth amongst running backs the last two weeks,
averaging about sixteen points per game. Bucky Irving, we talked
about him and his return New Orleans middling against runners,
Derrick Henry because I have no idea what I'm getting
in the passing game with Lamar Jackson. Am I expecting
highs of highs? You know in that one twenty year No, no, no,
give me that seventy and a score and I'll set

(16:23):
it and forget it. He's sixed over the last five weeks,
averaging about sixteen points per game.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Chris A.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Lave going up against Tampa. They've been terrible against opposing
passing games, so foreshadowing a little bit more. Jalen Waddle.
He's been miserable the last two times out. Looking for
a little bit better offing offering for us here against
the Jets. Michael Wilson forty seven targets over his last

(16:49):
four going up against the Rams. Yeah, last week just
five and at five point one after that two week
run up, and then I have to ask the question.
I ring it to the panel. The last two weeks weeks,
the Minnesota quarterbacks could have dirted the ball and every
down and had a better QBR than what they put forward.
Do I trust Justin Jefferson in my line up this

(17:09):
week as they face what has been here too for
a bad Washington team. Also proof of concept, Jaden Daniels
is worth three to the point spread because Minnesota was
a one and a half point favorite and with Daniels activation,
they are now a one and a half point favorite.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
I would say, in the words of Steve Winn, would
roll with it. Let's roll with Justin Jefferson. He can't
get any worse, right if you're going to play him
when like I did last week when he had the
two for four sounds like a great shopping deal, but
not in fantasy football. There's got to be at least
some bounce back, at least some way a touchdown or

(17:46):
something for Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
Either that or we can go with one of his contemporaries,
with mister Winwood, the little Billy Joel, and we will all.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Go down together.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
It's going to blame out do it with the stars
we drafted back in the day.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
There they are your hot plays for Week fourteen. Now
let's get to the other side of things. The cold
soars Mike Coud you and not like this upcoming league.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Some big game hunting right off the jump. Patrick Mahomes,
it's just a lower ceiling. I have no idea what
to expect. We talk about a banged up, bad offensive
line right now. Am I going to get enough rushing
yards that are going to counterbalance what goes up against
that Houston front? Best giving up just twelve and a
half fantasy points per game two quarterbacks, and Mahomes has

(18:34):
been ridiculous last week, the second highest score that he's
had all year. He's second overall all of these things.
But it's still just a bit of handwringing. Caleb Williams
going up against Green Bay. They're six best against quarterbacks,
three big games the last five, but then two ten
point performance is mixed there in a little bit of concern.
Justin Herbert against Philadelphia. It's a home game. How much

(18:55):
is the run game are you going to see? With
Vidal and Hampton coming back, He's going to be cleared,
how much we know? But Herbert had the hands surgery,
so how much is that going to effect play before
it's done? Ashton Genty, I don't I don't even know
if it's fair to put him on here anymore, but
two sub ten over the last eight. Look, we got

(19:15):
to take our chalk where we can going up against
Denver ETN going up against Indianapolis. These workloads split that
they have there leaves me a little bit concerned. Would
he mark seven point four if you are four of
five a starter? Really in name only and desperation as
a flex play, But the big game hunting comes to

(19:37):
the wide receiver position. And you know we've we've had
blind trust in Abuca all season. He's got just one
game with more than eight points in his last seven,
going up against New Orleans Secondary. But how about DeVante
Adams going up against Arizona? And I raised this because
they only got two games with more than eighty receiving

(19:57):
yards on the season touchdowns in his last six. Yes,
he got this crazy ass streak. And you're like, okay,
when does this stop? Like you're not benching him clearly,
But for the purposes of this conversation, I'm like, boy,
I really got to maximize elsewhere because I am so
red zone dependent here that it feels like Jerome Bettis

(20:20):
in his final days when he was paired up with
Douce Staley and those guys.

Speaker 3 (20:23):
When I traded Devonte Adams this year, I told you
guys on the pod. It was after the Jacksonville game
in London where he had five catches for I think
thirty five yards and three of those were touchdowns, and
I just thought, wow, that's that's gonna be as high
point because if you're only getting the touchdowns, those can't
happen every week. Wrong, they've basically happened every week. To

(20:45):
Mike's point of how many he's got over the last
five or six games. Eleven was what Mike's was at
five or six whatever it was. But that's basically to
a game.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
So it's insane.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Yeah, right, like this rate, and certainly you know, Iron
Williams and Blake korm have still had their fun along
the way, but it's just the it's got to end,
I mean, right, it's got to end at some point.
And then what the way the offense have operated means
you basically walk away with nothing sure if you get
that shut out and then we take our chalk once

(21:17):
again with our old familiar DK metcalf DK one double
digit game is last.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Five Steelers Ravens.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
I just don't know. With Pittsburgh in that offense. We
know the Ravens defense can let you have it. We've
seen that before, but still there's nothing there for Pitts
from Pittsburgh to make you feel comfortable. Those are the
cold source from Mike Carmen. Let's get to the ninja
plays for the upcoming week.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
Get a little bit deeper, deeper, deeper. CJ shout going
to against Kansas City. Ten points in that return, Kansas
City middling, given about seventeen points per game. Tyler Shuck
going against Tampa. Yeah, let's go with vele out there
as well. You're talking nineteen and eighteen point four to
two of his last three Tampa Bay fourth most fantasy
points allowed per game. There's your daily Fantasy play of

(22:06):
the week because he's gonna cost you nothing. To Rod
Taylor going up against Miami. I like that ad Ni
Mitchell a little thing that's popping there for Taylor. You
look at a couple of big games in his starts
where he's been near that twenty point mark for Miami,
giving up nearly twenty per game. Rodriguez going up against

(22:28):
Minnesota averaging about ten points per game his last four
not world beating, but red zone potential for him there
Bam Knight against the Rams. Three straight double digit games
for him season high fifteen point three last week to
Saquon Barkley count Yah, sure he does. He's RB fifteen
somehow this year, despite well being terrible, fewer than ten

(22:52):
fantasy points five of his last seven games.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Just like you knew that there was going to be
a you know, a regression from last year, but I
thought it would be more for injuries than anything else
in it.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Yeah, or a little bit of you know, maybe they
went to the Lions approach of a year ago, where
it's all right, it's Gibbs in Montgomer Montgomery, really both
kind of rumbling with the same touches, and then Gibbs
became that guy in the second half that maybe when
they had acquired Tank, Bigsby and all of that, that
maybe they'd meter things out. And now the offensive lines

(23:27):
had its issues and injuries, and certainly the amount of
slap fighting certainly doesn't help, things like the verbal slap
fighting back and forth. But yeah, this is just a
curiosity as to he just looks that much. The regression
far bigger coefficient than any of us could have anticipated.
Wide receivers real quick Khalil Shakir. Why because it's got

(23:50):
to bend the right way point two thirteen and one
his last three stat lines there, Debo going up against Minnesota.
Go back to the beginning of the year. He came
out of the gate pretty strong. He's had a couple
of pops across the year with some touches, but looking
for an opportunity here. More gadgetry than anything else. Alec

(24:13):
Pierce fourteen to sixteen points three of his last four games.
And then go back to Higgins in the Planet Houston
going up against KC back to back you back in
W two WR two the last four weeks averaging about
eleven points per game, So trying to find some value

(24:33):
at the back end of our receiving course.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
It's Sunday night football in Kansas City, Texans and Chiefs
should be a good one, all right. Mike Harmon can
sit back, relax, kick up the feet. Ian Roddy takes
the wheel next with his streaming defenses. I'll follow with
a survivor pick and a points of balooza. It's what
we do when we wrap up our episode. If I
want your flex, it's all next here, all right. Ian

(24:59):
Roddy take the wheel. He is Mike Carmen and I'm
Dan byer Ian as our executive producer. You have streaming
defenses for us this week? How many three this week? Three?

Speaker 6 (25:09):
Yeah, let's go the normal three. Not going to pull
any fast ones on you guys this week, but let's
start with this. Mike, you referenced them a second ago here,
but I'm one of my defenses. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers
forty six percent rostered in ESPN leagues last I checked.
They are playing against the Saints and Tyler Shuck. Like
you mentioned, when the Bucks played the Saints in Week eight,

(25:30):
they held them to just a field goal and they
recorded five sacks on them, but that was a game
where Tyler Shuck came in for Spencer Ratler. Two of
the sacks were on Rattler, three were on Shuck. That's
important to note, but still got him three times. Last
few weeks, Shuck was doing a good enough job avoiding sacks,
but the last few weeks he's now taken at least
four and back to back, and that was against relatively

(25:52):
average pass rushes in the Falcons and Dolphins. The Bucks
I think are similarly average, but that should suffice in
my mind. And also I just think that the game
script itself is going to favor the Bucks here, and
when you know that the Saints are going to be throwing,
it makes it a little easier to pin your years
back get more sacks. So sure Bucks are our first one.
Next up the Washington Commanders. They're thirty five percent rostered.

(26:15):
Last I checked, playing against the Vikings. Well, it'd be
even better if Max Brosmer were starting again. With obviously
that four interception disaster class last week. McCarthy's still very
much someone we're going to be targeting here. He's been
one of the worst qbs in the league, and I
expect that to continue. The Commanders are another pretty average defense,
but that should again be more than enough to handle

(26:37):
business against the Vikings, especially in the state that they're
in right now. And then lastly, the Baltimore Ravens. They're
sixty percent rostered, so right on that threshold they may
or may not be out there for you. If they are,
I would try and grab them. They're playing against the
Steelers and Aaron Rodgers Rogers has been playing with a
broken bone and his non throwing hands, so obviously be worse.
If it was his throwing hand, he'd probably be out
at that case, but it's led to some ball security

(27:00):
issues and the Ravens should be able to take advantage
of that. Just last week, Rogers had a fumble six
on a sack and that was thanks in part to
the cast on his hand, so it is literally affecting
the game. And then the Ravens defense did give up
thirty two points last week to the Bengals and Joe
Burrow's return, but before that they'd actually gone six straight
weeks holding their opponent to under twenty one points, and

(27:21):
that included the Rams and Bears, two really good offenses.
So they should have a nice day against the struggling Steelers.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
There are some low over unders and we'll get yeah
one in just the second, but Steelers Ravens is trending
in that way. I'm gonna say this my survivor pick,
and I think a lot of people survivor pick this
week will be the Buccaneers. I don't feel great about it.
I don't feel great about the reason being this is

(27:49):
the Buccaneers had all they could handle from Arizona a
week ago. They also have a short week coming up
where they have the Falcons coming up on Thursday night,
football Saints coming to town. What you mentioned Ian of
what the Buccaneers were able to do to the Saints
in their first meeting.

Speaker 5 (28:06):
It's a division game.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
I know, it's something you don't want to overlook, and
I just wonder if they do. And I also wonder
Mike d Shook as one of his ninjas, if the
Saints have a little something where they can win a
game or two. Now they've won two so far this season,
but you also have a game coming up against the
Titans on your schedule. You've got a game against the

(28:28):
Jets coming up, and so I'm saying to myself, all right,
is that where the Saints four wins the season are
gonna come? Or are they gonna come in a surprise
fashion against a team like the Buccaneers. I'm probably gonna
put my pick on the Buccaneers, but I would take
that one the other two Browns against Titans. Super talking

(28:48):
about over under, super low scoring thirty three and a half,
isn't Mike, That's kind of what it's stayed throughout the week.
That game again going just with the Browns defense, solely
because they're so good to be able to get after
cam Ward. The Browns would be a pick, and honestly,
I think Ian's Jets could be a pick against the Dolphins.
I know the Dolphins have eight Chan and Waddle, but

(29:11):
weather's probably going to be cold. Jets are playing inspired football,
and I'm not sure what.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
The best unit is on the field.

Speaker 3 (29:19):
I think Bryce Hall can do some damage, so the
Dolphins are a favorite. Jets would be the underdog, but
they're home. Buccaneers. Browns my safest picks for survivor, even
though I'm teetering on the Buccaneers.

Speaker 6 (29:31):
I like that Dan, I actually, and like I alluded
to earlier in the show, I did consider putting either
the Dolphins or Jets in the streaming defenses, but that
game is just such a question mark in my mind
right now. Like you said, the Jets are playing more
inspired football. I don't view them as a must target
in streaming defense. Is just because of how hippy they've
looked in the last few weeks. But we'll see. Maybe

(29:51):
the Dolphins absolutely steamroll them, and that makes it easy
going forward.

Speaker 4 (29:54):
Another one of those games that you can get in.
It's a pretty good day of games if you're willing
to go sit in the cold and bundle up. You
can go see Miles Garrett get the sack record for
eight bucks.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Oh there you can.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
You can go see the Rams and the Cardinals for
twenty one Houston, Kansas City as low as forty last
I see in that Jets game about forty five bucks.
And also just one of those stats, right, Jets, Oh
to seven all time against TUA. Yeah, back to eight

(30:28):
below forty degrees.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
Oh, something's gone. Something rubber meets the room.

Speaker 6 (30:32):
Yeah, a movable force meets a Yeah, whatever it is,
whatever the opposite.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
I got you Jets, Dolphins, not my points of Loza,
Rams Cardinals is so give me Rams Cardinals one of
the higher ones that we've got. But nothing even close
approaching the fifty three and a half between Cincinnati and Buffalo,
So I couldn't take that. But it's gonna be tough
to top Cowboys Lions, which already has the hay in
the But Rams and Cardinals is the one that I

(31:04):
think will probably play out. It is the second highest
point total we've got right now.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Celebrate that Jacoby Brissette run as it goes. Kyler Murray
shut down for the year according to again, and yes
earlier on Friday.

Speaker 5 (31:18):
And no Marvin Harrison Junior for the Cardinals either, so.

Speaker 6 (31:22):
Kyler might have played his last snap as a Cardinals.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Yeah, point right, all right, But we could also see
a lot of Tray McBride yes day forty two asking
Cardinals tight end Trey McBride to drink a drum and
deal with us. I love those I know it's over.
I'm still looking at their tiktoks. It's great, all right,
that's awesome. That's enough for us here on. I want

(31:44):
your flax. We'll be back for a post week fourteen.
Hopefully you're heading into the playoffs at that point. If
your league go is fifteen weeks, hopefully we can get
you into the playoffs. Whatever the case may be, enjoy it.
If you're playing daily Fantasy, hopefully you hit the jackpot
and we will talk to you next time.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
For Ian, Roddy and my Carmen, I'm Dan Byer. This
is I want your flex.
