Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ice SE's Daily Game. It's a production of iHeartRadio. What's
Up in Size Team? You're listening to the Daily Game,
the compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years
that I've found inspiring and helped me through the game
of life. Today, I'm sharing a quote my good friend

(00:20):
Damon John likes to say. You might know Damon John
from Shark Tank or it's clothing line Fuboo. I've known
Damon since he was launching his own line, and you
know his knowledge is going to bring you success. Don't
worry about those who talk behind your back. They're behind
you for a reason. People that are talking behind your back,

(00:44):
that's just petty shit. And like I always said, this
comes back around to haters.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Haters hate up. They hate up.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
No one spends time talking about anyone who's beneath them.
There's some level of envy or some level of competition,
and it's going on there that makes them talk behind
your back or say negative things behind your back. You know,
there's an old story where your boy comes over and says, YO,
such and such called you a bitch, and you say, well,

(01:13):
I'm not that worried about him calling me a bitch.
I'm worried why he felt comfortable saying that in front
of you.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Well, how did you react? Was the end of the story.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
You punched him in the mouth, or you just come
and bringing me that shit back. But that's stuff all
behind your back. Now, I've learned from my mistakes that
although these statements are coming from behind your back, pay
attention to them.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Don't just blow them off.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
If you are brought some negative stuff about somebody else
saying something negative or behind your back, you might want
to validate that and then acknowledge that person as a
potential enemy, because they probably will never say it in
your face. But they've been exposed. And a lot of
times I don't even let acknowledge that I know they've
been exposed. I just deal with them different. Just because

(01:59):
you hear it, I want to make sure it's true first.
You don't just move on because that person that could
be telling you about that person could have an agenda.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
So figure out if it's true and then go Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I had a friend of mine who was out in
the street saying shit behind my back, and I blew
it off. I blew it Ah, Yeah, he's my friend,
he's talking love of shit, and later on he set
me up to get robbed and I could have died.
So now I don't let anything like I say anytime
I hear anything out of the way, I take it

(02:32):
to heart, because if I'm your friend, I never should
be saying anything negative about you ever, So don't let
those things slide first. Make sure they're true. No, they're
behind you for a reason. That could be a warning
sign that will get you out of future bullshit with
that person. Don't worry about those talking behind your back.

(02:55):
They're behind you for a reason. Let me add something
onto that. Pay attention if those allegations are true. This
has been another Ice cold fact from me Iced tea.
Listening again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass.
Till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that

(03:17):
people talk about.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
You because they wish they were you. ICE's Daily Game.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
