Speaker 1 (00:00):
Icey's Daily Game. It is a production of iHeartRadio. What's
Up sized Team. You're listening to The Daily Game the
compilation of motivational quotes I've collected over the years that
I've found inspiring and helped me through the game of life.
Today's quote is an iced tea quote and it goes

(00:22):
like this, Never discuss winning with losers. It's not their language.
What that really means is, if you're talking positive, you
need to be around positive people. Positive people will help
you talk about whether you're talking about getting your life together,

(00:42):
whether you're talking about going to the gym, whatever you're
talking about being on your diet. I don't care what
you're talking about. Positive you need to be around positive
people because they will help you in that conversation. But
a loser is going to shoot that conversation down no
matter what you say. We always say a hater or
a loser has a problem for every solution, They're just

(01:04):
going to shoot it down. Don't even waste your time
talking dreams or goals with somebody who you've identified as
a hater and a loser. There's a lot of people
that have been losing and they want to win, but
they're going to be interested in hearing the positive side
of it. They want you to feed them. But a
real super loser is somebody who's already decided everything is
going to go wrong, and they're very pessimistic and they're

(01:26):
very hatefulful towards your dreams. Fuck them. Don't even bring
up anything, any of your dreams or anything that you're
working on to them, because their job is to shoot
it down. That's what they are. That's not their language.
They want to talk about negativity. They want to talk
about what's going wrong. They've been watching TMZ. They thrive

(01:47):
off of seeing people have bad times. That's their pathetic life.
Fuck them, you don't even understand that language. We talk
about winning and positivity. We don't watch TMC. This has
been another Ice code fact from me iced Tea. Listening

(02:09):
again tomorrow when I drop some wisdom on your ass
till then, stay safe, stay smart, and stay knowing that
winners win and losers lose always ICE's Daily Game. It's
a production of iHeartRadio, Final Level Entertainment and Oddity, an
Asylum entertainment company. The show's executive producer is Noel Brown.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
