at w NBA All Star and I'm taking out with
three times w NBA MVP, two time w BA Champion,

Asia Wilson. Hey, Asia, how are you doing well? Can't
complain well?
Speaker 1 (00:33):
The first thing that I noticed when I walked over
was your sneakers and yes, yes, yes, and these just
released today. So talk about your A ones and what
this year has been like for you to have your
signature shoe finally released.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
It's been incredible, Honestly, It's something that I've really dreamed
up and to see it kind of come to fruition,
it's just truly special.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
You know.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Last year it was kind of like, oh, I'll be
playing my signature shoe, not even knowing what colorway or
what it could look like. But just see it now.
It's truly been a blessing and just had so much
fun telling stories through it and seeing others relate to
it and also well, So it's definitely been a.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Lot of fun. Seven times wa All Star. What does
this colorway mean to you? This is the super Nova.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
I feel like it's so beautiful and just bright, and
I think that just comes to bring what All Star brings.
It's just a lot of brightness and bright stars.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Coming and playing the game that we love.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Our fans th really see us in a different space.
So it's been tons of fun seeing it and hopefully
everybody got their peer.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
You are no stranger to All Star games. What makes
this year different? What makes this year special for you? Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:39):
What makes this year special for me? You know, it's
a big It's a big year for our league. Honestly,
this has been a lot of fun growing this league
and encouraging others to watch it and play along and
go and go with us and grow with us. So
it's been a huge year for us and just shining
bright with all my teammates here. It's going to be
a lot of fun. But we know that it's also
a huge year for se well. So a lot of

conversations here when you have forty players come out and
talk and and meet with the league for the first
time since in person, since December.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I think it really shows that this is gonna be
a big year for us. We are standing on business and.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
We continue to do that and demands are meant, excuse
me met, And Yeah, I think it's just a big
year overall for us.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
It feels good.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, you just mentioned that huge CBA meeting and how
the players are all standing together in solidarity to make
sure that this time around that the business part of
it is right. What is one thing that the league
absolutely can't get wrong this time around?
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Can I get wrong? Can I? I don't want to get
too until it. But give us a little something, you know,
you know, you gotta give us a little do this?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Just giving us what we deserve, giving us what we've earned.
I think to say give because I feel like you're
not giving us something. We've earned it, we've deserved it,
we see it, we grow it. So I think that's
the biggest thing that they just really can't mess up
is just giving us what we have definitely put out
in great product and showing up and having people.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
See us, which continues to grow our game.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
So whether that's revenue share or anything in between, just
giving us what we honestly deserve and.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Previously as you were the captain of your all star team,
and now you kind of get to take a little
backseat and be able to just kind of enjoy the
game and not have to pick the rosters. And your
team is missing a few players, but you know now
you have a few players inserted into that lineup. Just
talk about the group that you all have today this weekend.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
We have a like kind of low key young grou
We got some young ends. I think we can run
and gun a little bit. But yeah, it's definitely kind
of cool. Obviously, I love being captain and definitely miss it,
but at the same time, it's kind of cool to
kind of take a step back and I No.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Seven is crazy that I'm here. Oh my goodness. I
feel like I'm a little vet now.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
But now it's definitely got a young group, so I'm
excited just to play alongside them all right.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Asian, So we're gonna play a quick little game and
it's basically a throwback. So you would say a throwbacks,
So will you throw it back, run it back, or
would you not run it back? And I'm going to
show you some WNBA trends over the years. I'll just
let me know, okay, all right, yeah, so the first
one that we have business casual outfits, run it back

Now, don't get me wrong, y'all ate that up, but
we could we could do something different.

The w NBA R and Hoody era was such a
huge era.

head and they were banned at one point even in
the NBA.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Right, I feel like we are in like a you know,
our hair is different now, so I don't know those
head bands are going to do it, but I don't
mind it.

these custom jersey dress is made? You'd be having all
of the throwback jersey Taylor to your size.

The vision, all right, vision, and my person just puts
the vision to life.

It's amazing. All I gotta do is semi measurements. Yeah, no,
we are.

Okay, you're just setting trends all over and we're super
excited for you this weekend, last one before you get
out of here. What's something that you hope fans will
take away from this year's WNBA All Star.

Ooh, just how much fun we're having.

Like literally, we're your fans are a part of a
