Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, fellows, welcome back to another episode of Inside
the Bus.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
We apologize.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
We want to start this episode off by apologizing for
missing an episode last week.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Obviously, last week was the first.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Week of college football and we had an insane week
recording uh Locker Room, both episodes of the Locker Room.
On Wednesday, we'll get into having Josh Payton, Clay Matthews,
and Delaney back in the shop. But yeah, so going forward,
Inside the Bus will be coming out Friday mornings just
because of the programming and stuff we have all throughout

(00:33):
the Bus and universe. Fridays the only day with something
not coming out, So we'll just we'll hang out with
you guys on Friday, and that's when that's when you
can look for us.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
So Fridays football is backaball is football is.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
I'm fired up, I'm owen one already on my my
best best this year.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
So you took Kansas State.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yeah, I'm a big Avery Johnson believer. And then I
don't now, I don't know if I'm a bigger Avery
Johnson believer because his dad and brother were fighting, or
if it makes me think of them less.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, I mean that's a that's a tough scene for
the father and son. But it's kind of like we
said on busting for and soil doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah, for and soil doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Get back to America. I'm mad.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I'm mad.

Speaker 5 (01:20):
Do you think Avery Johnson was when he found that out?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Do you think he's more mad about losing or the
fact that his brother and dad were fighting.

Speaker 6 (01:27):
I think it's just a shitty day. You're overseas, You
lose a big conference game to start the season before
week one, and then after the game, your dad and
brother very publicly.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Got funny as I didn't know that they were fighting
each other. I thought they were tag team fighting.

Speaker 6 (01:43):
That would have been a little more sick. But yeah,
he's like shoving shoving his head into like a dirty puddle.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, just an Ireland puddle, probably filled with booze and guinness.
I was Avery Johnson that, Yeah, just you know.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
I think he split the g of that puddle.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
I wonder if that's happened before, if they're like doing
that publicly fighting.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Yeah, where are they from?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
Kansas?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Averie Johnson was a five star quarterback coming out and
he like decided to stay home.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
It's like a massive deal when they signed him.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
I can't imagine that was a first time things. Maybe
maybe in public, but.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
I feel like it can't be a first time thing.

Speaker 5 (02:22):
That had to be a thing that was like boiling over,
like they.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
They've already didn't like they haven't already had.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Maybe they lost a bet.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
Does this door stay closed?

Speaker 4 (02:29):
I don't know. I think you had a yank that.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Yeah, whatever, But yeah, I am this week or I
guess technically tomorrow. We would have just gotten back from Nebraska.
We're recording this on Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
It's only Tuesday.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah, we're everybody or US three, JP, Will and Taylor
obviously going to the Nebraska. Since the game, we're going
to be doing a little little collab with News. Shout
out Trav for just getting engaged. Taylor Swift applause.

Speaker 4 (03:06):
That is Uncle Trev. They just win every day on
the internet.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
They just break it. They just find new ways to
break it every day. But yeah, we'll be at that
that game, and then.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
I'm excited to go to Arrowhead then me too. Kind
of sucks that it's for Nebraska Cincinnati, but.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
I mean I'm just still stoked to be there, and like,
because obviously I'm a Chiefs fan and just see them
or see the stadium, and like, obviously I want to
go to a Chiefs game they play here this year,
but just being in the stadium is going to be sick.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
Holy weather should be good too, because.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
Is it supposed to be colder out there?

Speaker 8 (03:39):
You think or it'll be a little chilly. I would
take that over being ninety degrees outside all day. But
shares a parking lot with the Royals.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Uh, you're just there.

Speaker 8 (03:49):
We're just there this past Thursday, So quick trip back,
excited it's a long weekend, and then me and JP
travel from there to this somewhere somewhere.

Speaker 7 (04:01):
I don't think we can talk about it. But it's
one of two games, so.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
One might involve recent news with Dave Portinoy and then
the other one potentially the battle of Death Valleys.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
I wouldn't say it as that though.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
I'm just now realizing that they're both Tigers and Death Valley.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Yeah, I think L's used the real Death Valley. Yeah,
of course, I don't think that's for debate.

Speaker 6 (04:28):
It's a hostile I don't think of I don't think
of Clemson when I think Death Valley.

Speaker 7 (04:33):
Is a private institution. If you're a private institution.

Speaker 8 (04:36):
You you can't have death in your can't have Death's
head coach, but damn all the cornball coaches.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Yeah, that's a tough one. Who do you think is
gonna win the either of those games? It's hard to
talk about the Nebraska game. Hopefully Nebraska beats the breaks
off of them.

Speaker 9 (04:54):
But.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
Country wants Texas.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Sorry, Mitch, I know you know how I mean, Yeah,
I wouldn't disagree, but I like I tweeted.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
About it today. I think it is the softest thing.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
You got to get your notifications.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
It is the.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Softest thing in the world for like Ryan Day and
Ohio State to say, well, I guess now it's the
entire Big Ten. But for Ohio State to be like,
we're not allowing Portnoy in our stadium, I think.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
That is banning flags.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
That is the softest thing. Not even allowing soft tissue,
that is that's soft tish.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
It is. It is the most ridiculous thing of all time. Like,
I don't know, I.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Just obviously they have insane talent Ohio State all the time.
Their quarterback is gonna be Julian saying transfer from Alabama.
I don't really know a whole lot about him, hasn't
really gotten a ton opportunity know nothing about him. Is
there a chance that the moment's too big for him?
While Arch steps into him? You saw Arch's comment that, dude,

(05:59):
that is well hard, the X isn't on our back.
We got red dots on everybody.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah that, I mean, Art is just a season pro
when it comes to the media already.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
But yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
It's kind of like I have no no, no idea
about Julian saying but I mean, and like I have
no idea who our running backs are going to be.
But I mean, you got the best wide receiver in
the country arguably with Ryan Williams, and like he's just
a freak. And I feel like if you just put
it out there, they're like, it's not a fifty to
fifty ball, it's like a seventy thirty.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
There are there are other receivers obviously, I mean, it's
Carneal Tait, he's a stud.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
And then I can't think of this, it's brand I
think it's Brandon Innis. They're like they're the three SuDS,
like the up, up, and next coming. Like Carnell Tait
he was a sophomore last year, I think, or a
freshman last year, and like he's got massive expectations and everything.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
But it sucks that that game is at noon.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
I don't hate I don't hate it. I like it.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
I think it's I don't know, I personally don't like
a noon game for college.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Like the like the game Michigan Ohio State is normally
at noon.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
Yeah, I mean, but that's like a tradition thing.

Speaker 6 (07:08):
I don't mind this game being at noon, just because
there are like those big time games that night. Yeah,
so like you still have l s U Clemson at night.
But yeah, like that Texas, oh say, being at noon
sucks a little bit out of it.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Who's the three o'clock game where the two thirty Florida State.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
Yeah, and people will be watching that just so, I
mean Florida State Bama.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Florida State's quarterback's been talking ship all off season.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
He was he's gotten person.

Speaker 6 (07:36):
Yeah, the Boston College quarterback. Yeah, and he was good
at Boston College. But like he's been and he's.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Just been talking so much trash about Bama.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Well crazy and then got in person because he was
like thrown with some guys at a field in one
of our wide receivers who transferred Miami.

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Isaiah Horton like confronted him about it. He was like, oh,
come on, you know, like you know, like he kind
of back pedaled on it, and it's like, okay, bro.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
But then he did say this week or last week
that the Florida State defense is probably the hardest defense
they'll go against all year, and I've heard nothing positive
about their defense.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
Yeah, I don't even like.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
I'm very curious how that game will go. I hope
that I would assume that it starts probably pretty shaky.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
You guys are starting to try Simpson.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
See what's up. It's in Tallahassee. So I feel like
it's gonna be uh. I think that first quarter will
be one of those where you got to settle in
and then I think it'll I think we'll separate.

Speaker 5 (08:35):
You have to think Florida State is going to be
way better than they were last year.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
But they gotta be.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
They were they had, they were a good bulk like
they had on paper.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Did they lose the first game against Georgia Tech that
was the Ireland last year?

Speaker 4 (08:48):
Yeah, that was tough.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
It's also crazy that DJ a NFL roster right now.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Yeah, is he on the Chargers.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
I think he's a guy though.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
I think that could be like a Logan Thomas, who
like was it starter at Virginia Tech and getting switched
his tight end Cardinals le.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
No way they do switching positions.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
He's a big body though, like if it's like listen,
you're not playing, You're not going to be a quarterback
in the NFL.

Speaker 5 (09:12):
He had that athleticism like Logan Thomas.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
I mean, he's like he can move.

Speaker 5 (09:17):
I think, yeah, I don't know, maybe it is.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Crazy that he's been in college since I was who
DJ Yeah, yeah, feels like it.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
You got You and JP are going to a game
this weekend.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
Yeah, me and JP are going to Atlanta and on Sunday.
It's at three o'clock there. It's at Mercedes Bands. It's
the AFLAC kickoff game. And so we got tickets because
I used to work there. So we're gonna drive up there.
Tails Carolina Virginia Tech. Yeah, South Carolina Virginia Tech, which
honestly might be a pretty good game, at least for.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
A little bit.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
I don't know much about Virginia Tech, but like I'm
excited to go to that game, Like I think. I
think it'll be a good time, and we're gonna go
check out like some tailgates and then go to the
game and then we can come back all in one day,
so it kind of works out.

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Did you get to hook up through some of your
people from being down there?

Speaker 6 (10:00):
Yeah, yeah, some time had some Yeah, we're talking South
Carolina Virginia's tag.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
A little bit, and we might have to.

Speaker 10 (10:07):
Do Yeah, our.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Boys aren't hosting, but anyway, we might have to do
a we might have to do a mini vlog another
inside the inside the bus, inside the bus.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
We got another guy you in a minute. He come
on Waters Fine.

Speaker 10 (10:29):
Sherm is about to join us.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
A bird on the Oh we didn't add a Baylor.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Oh yeah, she's going to Baylor.

Speaker 9 (10:40):
Baylor, going to Baylor, I'm getting Yeah.

Speaker 10 (10:42):
Going to Baylor is his first time at a Baylor
game since school.

Speaker 9 (10:46):
Not since school, but first time in a minute, I
would say almost three years, two years.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
I wish this is gonna sound messed up.

Speaker 10 (10:56):
I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
I wish Scarlett had not been born yet so that
you could have because the old Baylor's Shorem could come out.
Did you get what I'm saying? I get what you're
saying in the nicest way possible. Scarlet's beauty, she's awesome.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Yes, but I will say I don't think they got
the ear muffs.

Speaker 9 (11:17):
Yeah, And I don't think that that part truly does
because even Jill like going into the game, She's like,
I am having I'm d D, I'm d D. Jill's
about to have a time.

Speaker 10 (11:28):
So Scarlett's going to the game.

Speaker 9 (11:30):
Scarlett's going to the game.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
You're d ding at your team's game.

Speaker 9 (11:33):
I'm d ding at my team's game.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
So you get hammered at a Texas game this year
or something, that'd be sick.

Speaker 9 (11:39):
That'd be sick. I've gone to a couple of Texas games.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
To going to the Texas Orgians graduation.

Speaker 9 (11:44):
And that was actually the last Baylor game that I
went to, was Texas Baylor, and Jill was She's talking
real loud walking into that stadium.

Speaker 10 (11:52):
Does this could be a dumb question. But Scarlett doesn't
need to have a ticket, does she?

Speaker 2 (11:56):
She doesn't.

Speaker 9 (11:58):
And they just revamped the the mother room like the
nursing rooms.

Speaker 10 (12:05):
It's on the field.

Speaker 9 (12:06):
I can go and the dads can go in now
it's in the tunnel. Yeah, it's in the tunnel. I
do have a question, Yes, what do you like in
the game. It's two and a half favorite of all
overs fifty seven and a half. If I was gonna
go unbiased, and let's just throw a different team name
onto Baylor, like let's say this is Iowa State or whatever,

(12:30):
and the Auburn's having to go into a good, big
twelve team home stadium. We are unveiling the chrome domes
for the first time since twenty twenty. Twenty twenty, I
believe it's our first blackout since twenty eighteen.

Speaker 4 (12:48):
Chrome domes with chrome domes.

Speaker 9 (12:49):
With the black jerseys. This, guys, we're talking about hype
videos that featured Bryce Petty in the hype videos. Like
the crowd is and a Baylor crowd's not that big.
We're seek capacity of fifty thousand, but it does get loud.
The way the stadium's bill high, it's not going to
be an easy place to just go in there and

(13:10):
go smack somebody around. If Auburn beats us, I don't
see it. I'm seeing a lot of people being like,
this could be a three four score affair for Auburn,
Like damn, okay, I guess a lot of people are
high on Auburn. I know ESPN's really high on Auburn
being like a black horse.

Speaker 10 (13:26):
They got the quarterback trains Jackson Arden.

Speaker 9 (13:31):
So all that being said, I would, as a betting
man take money line of that said big twelve team
that is defending their home stadium against an SEC team
that has yet to prove himself and is maybe being
bolstered a little bit too high than they should.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
All right, so Baylor money line?

Speaker 2 (13:49):
Come on?

Speaker 10 (13:50):
What is Baylor money line.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Plus one twelve? We put together all of our teams.

Speaker 10 (13:54):
Plus one twelve.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
It's okay, we follow the spread for you.

Speaker 10 (14:00):
What is the spread? Seven and a half? Okay?

Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah? Nice? Yeah, So I think what we're gonna get
it now? Yeah, it's insane. We're gonna I think, and
I think what we're gonna do. What I would like to.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Do, and I think what everybody what we should do
is each week come up with an inside the bus
parlay and kind of put hours against the locker rooms.
We could do a college and NFL, but obviously we
only have college this week, so we'll do college.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
And to make it easy this week, we're just gonna
pick all of our teams.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
So gee, yeah, all right, So I'll read it off
Alabama spread thirteen and a half, Mitch's Florida State, Mitch
is scared and taking Ohio state money line, Tennessee spread,
South Carolina spread, Vandy spread. Coop's taking the Vandy spread.
And then we got Baylor money line.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
That comes out to plus four five and thirty two.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
So ten dollars to win, four hundred and thirty.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
Dollars spread thirteen and a half.

Speaker 8 (14:51):
Thirteen and a half a crazy stat that is a
like all bys aside, you take it or not.

Speaker 7 (14:58):
Tennessee with Josh High in.

Speaker 8 (15:00):
His last four opening games, he won thirty eight to six,
fifty nine to ten, forty nine, thirteen, and sixty nine
to three in the last four years, and they averaged
forty one point whoopings on opening Gay Syracuse is not
gonna get it done against the Balls.

Speaker 7 (15:14):
I don't think it's gonna be closed.

Speaker 8 (15:15):
Alder Joey Agar is gonna come out and actually have
a solid showing.

Speaker 7 (15:19):
But I think thirteen and a half, I don't.

Speaker 8 (15:21):
I'm not saying it's gonna be of the sixty to
three kind of game, but it's it's gonna be over
thirteen and a half.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
So who were the teams that they played in those
other four games?

Speaker 8 (15:30):
All knockdown teams. It was bowling Green to start bowling green,
ball State, Virginia and then UTC. So really Virginia being
the only one, but still forty nine to thirteen against them,
I'd say Virginia scoring every time the ball.

Speaker 7 (15:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
I also think Syracuse might be a little bit high
right now because of like Kyle McCord and how they
ended the season last year. I mean, they have Steve
Vangelly transferred from Notre Dame.

Speaker 7 (15:53):
And what news did we just see today or yesterday?

Speaker 10 (15:56):
Kyle McCord cut cut No, where did he Carolina quarterbacks
in Philly?

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Because McKee?

Speaker 9 (16:05):
Yeah, dog dog, you think he'll UFL UFL or CFL
or keep on trying.

Speaker 4 (16:12):
At the league.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
He'll he'll, he'll he'll get picked, he'll be he'll be
like a practice squad, or he'll be he'll be like
a career backup.

Speaker 9 (16:20):
What what does that look like the CUFL CFL season?
Can you be a practice squad NFL?

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Dude?

Speaker 9 (16:26):
And also do that.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
No, I think when you're on a team, like when
a team has the team essentially has your rights when
they own you. Yeah, that's kind of and so it's
kind of what's being tossed around right now, like getting
off of like McCord, but Quinn shot Judkins.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
He just got like all of his charges.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Is this true?

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Yeah, so this is what I saw. I think we're
talking about same thing.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
He is thinking or possibly thinking about going back to
Ohio State, but which I don't even know how that's
legal or possible.

Speaker 4 (16:56):
It's too late now for that.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
Yeah, but like because I figured once you declared, like
Cam saying he declared and then went back, I didn't
know that was even allowed. But he's talking about going
back to Ohio State and then if if at the
end of the year, if you were to like play
throughout with Ohio State, the Browns still own his Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
So when but when he goes back to draft, the
Browns can't draft him.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
No, he's still he's essentially already on the Browns.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
Well, what's the guy from the Bengals that had the
situation at A and m Swart?

Speaker 9 (17:28):
That's why Okay, that's why I believe was his name
Stuart Jamar Stewart.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Yeah, I believe crazy signed. I know he was like
him and Shamar with the last two.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, but I believe he signed, so therefore, like the
Browns have his rights.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
The Browns Loki have a solid running back room.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
They do.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
They have him and Dylan Sampson.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Dylan Sampson and Jerome Ford.

Speaker 10 (17:52):
And Ford and is officially on the team for the
most part because they shipped away Picket.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Yeah, shipped away Picket and dropped Tyler Huntley.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Yeah, I didn't know they had six quarterbacks.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
You'll see RG three's thing about Shador.

Speaker 10 (18:07):
No, I only saw. All I saw was like just
a clip of the video, and I saw him wearing
a jersey like his haircut. Haircut is crazy, you're too
old for that haircut.

Speaker 9 (18:16):
Baylor sure football, Yeah, I'm taking Baylor r r G
three is r G three. RG three is r G three.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
But I saw somebody. I saw somebody like quote tweet
rgie rg's video and it was like, so you got
drafted number two overall and they still drafted Kirk, Like
where is this? Like where's the discrepancy of uh? Like
Kirk didn't get any wraps. The only reason he's probably
still playing is because RG three got hurt. Like you're

(18:50):
not talking about like this situation with Dylan Gabriel, Shador
Standers and RG three and Kirk Cousins is damn near
the exact same. Obviously, Shad was a top three, top
two over I'll pick and won the Heisman. Like it's
completely different but or not completely different, but it's like
essentially the same thing without being the same thing. So
like his argument kind of doesn't necessarily go in his

(19:12):
direction because he was in the same exact situation.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (19:18):
I gotta run.

Speaker 7 (19:19):
I got his doctor appointment. Do you think, like subscribe
Fridays it's.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
Friday again, we should start doing that.

Speaker 10 (19:28):
This is a vibe Friday watch.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
Yeah, yeah right.

Speaker 9 (19:31):
The one thing I loved that the RG three tweet
is somebody didn't one of those like typical at grok
is this true? And then grog underneath It was like
Robert Griffin the third and his wife forget her name,
their argument is and I just love how his wife
didn't actually Phyllis, is it Phyllis?

Speaker 10 (19:54):
Appreciate you coming on?

Speaker 7 (19:55):
Sure?

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Make sure it was I'm just kidding man, come back,
come back, Phillis.

Speaker 9 (20:07):
I was so happy, I was like, oh, is it Phyllis?
Damn you you can drop it if you did.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
How did Josh down to.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
We haven't gotten. We haven't had an episode since then, right, No,
we haven't.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
That was a vibe those three four days that we
were out traveling around.

Speaker 10 (20:29):
Wait, I thought we did because I thought we talked
about the Philly Cheese Steaks.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
I don't remember.

Speaker 4 (20:34):
I don't think so.

Speaker 10 (20:36):
Yeah, you're right, because I think it was the same
Was it the same one with the Healyes.

Speaker 9 (20:43):
Yeah, because we've only missed one week list we went
to Philly Cheese Steaks.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
I held it down back home.

Speaker 9 (20:51):
Have we addressed Ferda behind the sticks yet? That changed?

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Is that new? He's been riding, he's been driving. This
is new to Sherm.

Speaker 9 (20:59):
But not look at him, dude, he looks good. I
got snap bad.

Speaker 4 (21:03):
Nobody else can see him. We can take a reference
photo and we won't put it in.

Speaker 8 (21:09):
There.

Speaker 4 (21:09):
You go, we'll put that in.

Speaker 9 (21:10):
Yeah, we'll put that in.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
I think we get back to the college football talk. Yeah,
I got to hear what you think about the game Cocks.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
It's seven and a half.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Tell the bets you already.

Speaker 10 (21:26):
I have six futures bets and it's really only two
bets and I just went back. I was like, yeah,
they're like three weeks apart from when I from when
I placed the first bet to the to the second
time I placed the same bet. It was three weeks
and I think like news had come out and I'm
just like, man, there's no way that we don't one

(21:48):
win over seven and a half games, two that Leonoria
Sellers doesn't win the Heisman. But I have Sellers Heisman
and South Carolina National champions and over seven and a half.
If all my bets hit, I'll win over ten thousand dollars,
which will be nice.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
You should do, should actually do, like probably your most
confident one of them making the playoff.

Speaker 10 (22:10):
I know at the time when I was making these bets,
I couldn't even find it on on the app.

Speaker 9 (22:14):
Is that available now?

Speaker 10 (22:16):
It's available off.

Speaker 9 (22:17):
I very much want to put it. Shout future Day,
Shout out futures Day.

Speaker 10 (22:22):
I bet for us is over the win total seven
and a half. That's the that's the loss, that's.

Speaker 9 (22:26):
Yours win total.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
Yeah, seven and a half.

Speaker 2 (22:29):
Yeah, I think that's pretty criminal.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
If you have the Heisman Trophy front runner or one
of the top Heisman candidates, they must think that he's
gonna have to do it all that's Raizy.

Speaker 10 (22:40):
Which honestly helps the Heisman case.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Too, helps his case, but does it help the team.

Speaker 11 (22:45):
No.

Speaker 10 (22:46):
But we did get our running back that was been
We've been waiting for approval from the NCAAA for since January.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
What was his deal?

Speaker 10 (22:54):
They're trying to see if he was eligible because he
was like a Juco guy. Yeah he's like twenty eight,
but who cares can carry the rock? But he was
like Juco Utah State, COVID injury, Utah State. He's actually
he's twenty three. I think he's basically our Rocket Sanders
of this year. But what I keep telling everybody for

(23:15):
South Carolina and why I'm excited about them, is that
the year that we had last year was full of
heartbreak and a lot of ups and downs. And when
you lose the games like we lost LSU where we
get kind of robbed and we shoot ourselves in the
foot against Alabama and then Ole Miss beat us straight up.
But the message that you have from the team is

(23:37):
so fresh of like, guys, you cannot let a single
down not matter to you. Every down matters, every quarter,
every play, and if you don't capitalize on it, you'll
be in the same exact spot you were in last year.
And the worst place to be is on the outside
looking in. And this year it's like you have to yeah, exactly,
you taste it. Now you have a year older Leonora Sellers,

(23:59):
who he fumbled a lot in the Alabama game. It's like,
hopefully a year two Sellers doesn't make the same mistakes.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Caught fire in that second half of the year.

Speaker 10 (24:07):
Undefeated in November, which is huge, And that's a Beamer
staple to the to our teams is we do get
we play our best football in November, but we gotta
limit the we gotta limit the slow start.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
I'm watching the SEC show right now.

Speaker 10 (24:21):
He had this a great showing.

Speaker 1 (24:23):
Well, like Beamer is just awesome. Yeah, then the coach
I was talking to you about, like the hype guy, Yeah, demo, Yeah,
demo or debo.

Speaker 4 (24:31):
I mean they're just awesome due the great strength staff.

Speaker 10 (24:36):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
But uh, like the LSU game, I'm like, I mean
I thought not that I thought you were delusional, but
I'm like JP is just saying, like you just rying
for his team, But I'm like, no, they actually.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
They got they were actually that close they got many times.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
In that game.

Speaker 10 (24:51):
I mean the red I've never seen something like that.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Stuff.

Speaker 9 (24:55):
Yeah, the LSU game is truly the most I've told
JP this five million times. That is the most I've
ever yelled at my TV screen about not my teams
on the screen. Dude's a blatant stealing of a game.
And of course I wanted you all to win because
you here and you're talking to how much you love
South Carolina and I hate Brian Kelly. Dude, I hate

(25:19):
Brian Kelly.

Speaker 10 (25:20):
And even backstory, as I'm watching the LSU game last year,
we're moving into our new apartment sitting an eye so
we just got done with like three weeks in three
different airbnbs because the apartment wasn't ready. Sitton's parents have
come to town. Their whole family's Clemson fans, but they're
like rooting for us. But there's boxes everywhere in the
apartment we're moving. I'm sweaty, and then Sellers gets hurt

(25:43):
at halftime and everything just starts going in the wrong direction,
and I'm like, it is so hot in this apartment
right now. And at one point I look over and
Miss Furman is like by the thermostat and I go
over there and it's at like seventy seven set to it,
and I legit went from the thermostat to outside and
just sat outside for a second just to take in

(26:05):
everything that was going on.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
We sat, Yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
I got a call for touch my thermist at. Yeah,
come in the crib.

Speaker 9 (26:13):
Was it seventy seven cool or seventy?

Speaker 10 (26:16):
Like what?

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (26:16):
Cool?

Speaker 4 (26:17):
But like that's crazy not cool?

Speaker 10 (26:19):
Yeah, not cool at all, not chill.

Speaker 9 (26:21):
I got a phone call from JP that night and
I think you maybe said six words yeah on it,
and it was just a lot of me being like,
I know, man, dada done, trying to stay positive, and
then JP going but sure we were right there.

Speaker 10 (26:40):
It stings so much, right, it's back. It's back, dude,
and there is I don't know, how do y'all feel
about this for us now that like we're getting so
a little bit more national attention when the show, yeah
obviously the show and the Cox oh, people will people

(27:02):
will text me at halftime when we're up, like, dude,
South Carolina looks so good right now, you got to
be fired up, And I'm just like, it's the last
text I want to receive midway through a game. I
don't know if y'all feel the same way, but it
like pisses me off.

Speaker 3 (27:15):
I don't get on my phone. I text like two
people dear in Alabama games. Yeah, it's Justin and my
friend Colton.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
One of them is very optimistic and the other one
is like dumpster fire. So I get to live in
the in between, which is nice. Like I texted both
of them yesterday and was like, how do we feel?
Like my annual text of just like all right, we're here,
how do we feel? And both of them are like
twenty fifteen run it back? And I was like, okay,

(27:43):
where are you quarterback?

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Come on?

Speaker 10 (27:47):
Last?

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Come on in Damon?

Speaker 9 (27:48):
Last white boy? Quarterback?

Speaker 2 (27:50):
Was uh Coker?

Speaker 9 (27:52):
Matt coonses, Oh, it was Matt Jones, also a stud
Who Matt Jones? Where Jake Coker? Jake Coker? Where is
the Florida State Jake Cocher transferred.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
From Florida State won Bama could have changed the trajectory
of the games at Florida State. Yeah, it's in Tallahassee.
I wish I was going.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
That's one of those like that's a stadium and like
atmosphere for like you got experience one of the one
of the best, like game opening ceremonies.

Speaker 4 (28:24):
Yeah, with the chief I can't think of his name.

Speaker 9 (28:29):
Yeah, I've been in my aunt actually lives in Tallahassee.
I've been there for a game day weekend.

Speaker 4 (28:35):
But yeah, into the game. But what's the stadium called?

Speaker 6 (28:39):
I'm not sure domble And I'm pretty sure they just
renovated it too.

Speaker 4 (28:43):
They did so like it's because Troy was telling us
that it just got like.

Speaker 5 (28:46):
A bunch of changes.

Speaker 10 (28:50):
Guys, question I can ask.

Speaker 4 (28:53):
You got new ice on your wrist?

Speaker 11 (28:55):
I got my little band and then the one medicine
I'm allergic to on my wrist?

Speaker 9 (29:01):
What is it?

Speaker 11 (29:02):
Seth zillspital.

Speaker 10 (29:05):
Did y'all talk about it already?

Speaker 4 (29:07):
No? Really, we were gonna you know, we were being nice.

Speaker 11 (29:10):
Is this will be a roast session? My lower back hurts,
not injured.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
In the comment section, say feel better soon, demon.

Speaker 10 (29:20):
Call me a pussy.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
My lower back hurts very bad.

Speaker 1 (29:24):
We were trying to stretch JP and I were trying
to stretch that Jared out yesterday during work. I think
y'all did a good already, and I think I feel
like we made a word to the hospital.

Speaker 10 (29:35):
I don't know y'all.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
What Will said and what the er lady said.

Speaker 11 (29:39):
She was like, which, I did make one mistake, like
some of those stretches, like that ninety ninety thing. Uh
I did it like too hard, like you were saying,
don't do it where it hurts. I just dumbly thought
like you should push into that pain. And she was like, yeah,
don't like keep doing those stretches, but like, don't do
that stupid. So I may Yeah, listen to your body, dude, Yeah,
I may have done it myself.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Do you were room? It has been throwing around the shop.
Is it from playing Call of Duty for too long?

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Not call of Duty?

Speaker 2 (30:05):
But is it from playing PUBG too long?

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Not even PUBG but Jerry was playing Madden.

Speaker 11 (30:11):
Yeah, you shout at my Minecraft players out there playing
Minecraft too long?

Speaker 4 (30:17):
I think just put a block in the comment section.

Speaker 10 (30:20):
Yeah, yeah it is.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
I was crazy.

Speaker 11 (30:23):
It's like right under or above Tetris. But uh, I
don't know because I was telling the lady like I
think I'm just wrong. I don't think it because she's like,
there's no way you could get this from just sitting
too long, like d because I go in there and
she's like, so, what do you think this is from?
Like I was like, I'm gonna sound so stupid. I
was like, I sat all weekend on my ass and
played Xbox and my back hurts now, So like, yeah,

(30:44):
she's never met a minecraft like me quote graphic.

Speaker 1 (30:49):
But yeah, you're sitting on sit on your ass all
weekend and then you're sitting all every day during the week.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (30:55):
And but she was telling me just like maybe you
like there's yeah, that's why I came up here to
tell you, is that you.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
Need to be I never said it. Sorry, guys, sorry,
g I never got to the losing.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Everybody was losing three people right now.

Speaker 11 (31:09):
There's a meeting downstairs, Matt.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
This could be we can have this as a quicker
episode given that it's a Friday. For sure, it's a
busy time during the week. But I didn't want to
cut you off.

Speaker 11 (31:23):
Her whole thing was just like I could have easily
just like picked something up last week and not realized,
Like I mean, I don't know. It could have been
locker room set, could have been the streaming room that
heavy cat. She was like, you could have done something
so little that you don't realize it and then I
don't know.

Speaker 10 (31:36):
Fucked it up? What's the road recovery?

Speaker 11 (31:39):
A lot of steroids today, which I've been advised from
Will and Taylor not to do, but I just need it,
like I like need. It was like I'm so hesitant,
like terrified of the doctor. I haven't gone way too long,
and it was like the one day where I was
like I need something, like I'm like dying.

Speaker 9 (31:54):
Don't turn down all they get.

Speaker 11 (31:56):
They offered me all the painkillers, like the good Ship
that I could have sold.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Listen to your doctor, Listen to Will and Taylor for sure.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
Like Will, Will.

Speaker 11 (32:03):
Did give me a little note at the end of
our talks. I'm like holding back tears. When I left
this morning, I like cried in my car. I was
like in the worst pain I've ever had. I told
Will was like yeah, then I want to go to
the YR and he's like you're good.

Speaker 4 (32:14):
I was like no, He's like.

Speaker 11 (32:15):
Yeah, like I don't don't take any steroids when you
get I'm like, okay, I'll tell the doctor you said that.

Speaker 10 (32:19):
Like it was.

Speaker 11 (32:20):
Like, dude, I'm taking whatever they give me, just like perks,
whatever the fuck. Yeah, they told me that you're what
you told us, You've unlocked anything you want. I was like, no,
I don't want it.

Speaker 2 (32:31):
Some hydros, but uh yeah, that's all we got for
this week again.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
Programming changing to Friday will have a uh I don't
want to put work on your plate, but would you
want to make that graphic of our bet?

Speaker 10 (32:44):
Oh yeah, do that super quick?

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Yeah, but yeah, keep it.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Keep an eye out for our bets and stuff going
throughout this football season. Again Fridays like subscribe telefriend, be

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
