Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, y'all, I'm Julie. Hi there, I'm Brenda. Welcome to
Insider's Guide to the Other Side. Now y'all need to
know that we're obsessed with everything on the other side.
Yes we are, because once you learn to navigate the
energetic or two some the invisible world, life is going
to be more fun and much more serene. Heck, yes

(00:24):
it can, because let's be honest, brand Earth school is hard.
In fact, you taught me that let's crush eart school together.
Welcome to Insider's Guide to the Other Side, a production
of My Heart Radio. So today we are actually not
going to talk about a music artist. We're actually gonna

(00:48):
talk about chakras. We're calling at Chakra Khan because we
think we're funny but we're actually and and because we
make ourselves laughing because it's right, and so we're kind
of hoping that if we at least can ourselves laugh
at you two will have a good time. But today
we're going to talk about chakras. And I think the
best way to start off, other than me keep thinking

(01:08):
I'm funny, is I think Brenda. I think the best
thing to do is for you to actually tell us
you know what exactly is a chakra and where did
the term originate? Well, the word is chuck because fine,
or she goes correcting me because it's the Sanskrit word, right,
and it's okay, So I'm sorry. Wait, let's hold on.

(01:30):
We were not taught Sanskrit and mom, Oklahoma. So well,
Sanskrit came with yoga, right, So when when yoga can
our favorite cult? Do not start with your yoga bashing
a little Oklahoma, little little billy is bashing the yogis again.

(01:51):
So when yoga came to the West, along with it
right there, it's an a limp path and part of
it is working with the body. Right, the are Vedic
way of medicine or healing or rebalancing the body comes
with our Veda and the chakras our energy centers in

(02:11):
the body that spin like wheels of light. As the
very famous chakra book Talx is titled by Oh my God,
his name was I I am just space. Now it's Judith.
Her name is Judith, but I can't remember last name.
But they don't get it online. It's wheels of wheels

(02:32):
of light, which is one of the twenty seven different
ways you can translate the word chakra, because every Sanskrit
word has at least like twenty seven different definitions. It's chakra,
con k chaka, khan. Are you going to do that
the whole episode? Maybe if you're lucky. So these wheels

(02:53):
of light um, these energy centers that you are actually
familiar with, everyone is familiar with. Everyone's had an experience
of the energy and their body draining, opening widely, snapping shut.
And we'll talk about some of those examples as we
go through each center in these next two episodes, because
today we're one. We're going to do one through three

(03:15):
because how many chakras are they chakras, chakras, grief in
the body? Thousands and we're not going to go through
all of them, so I hope everybody has some time
to settle in. So today we're working with one through three,

(03:36):
but there's seven major ones in the mob will be
covering seven major ones in these two episodes, not thousands.
We won't be covering thousands, but maybe through the life
of the show we will cover a thousand. I'm calling chakras.
I just am um so which is acceptable. Thank you
for accepting me, Brenda, I love you, I love you back.

(03:59):
So when and where did you first learn about chakras? Like,
let's give us a little a little origin story of
Brenda and the chakra god kind attempt. That's awesome, thanks
for playing, Okay. So I first trained into them when
I was in training for a Healing Touch certification, which
is a healing technique that came out of the Holistic

(04:21):
Nursing Association that UM. I think it was headquartered in
Colorado here nor there, but I don't know why they
came out of my mouth, but that's UM. That was
the organization that sort of mirrored and blended the Western
medical training with Eastern influence because it worked with both

(04:42):
the meridians, which are channels of energy that flow through
the body, mostly associated with acupuncture or acu pressure, and
then the chakras, which are more associated with a veda.
Plus of course they're trained as Western nurses, West Western
medicine nurses, and so this is it was just this
blending and mixing of all these types that came together

(05:04):
in this one mortality called Healing Touch. So when you
were taught, didn't they give you a really great analogy
about how to think about Yes, So when you think
of the meridians. You think of them as railroad tracks
that carry energy throughout the body, and the chakras as
the train stations where the tracks come in and out of,

(05:26):
so that each of the chakras has like a housing
of organs. They like fuel. They bring energy to different
organs in the body as well as different areas of
your life. So it's not you can't separate mind body
in the are you veta system. It's all one. And
so we're going to talk about that as we go through.

(05:47):
Like the first chakra and you know it governed the
literally the grounding the lower part of your body, as
well as the literally foundation of your life, which is
your family, value, your tribe. It's also known as the chakra.
So these are things like it's all woven into these centers. Okay,
I'm taking us back though. We're going back the train

(06:09):
and the tracks because I love that so much that
I think we could write a country song about, you know,
throwing mama from the train and oh my god, it's
off track, or catch the train units you know it's
done left the station. It's like, there's so many things
that we could do with this. Maybe we'll talk to
Harper and she can write a song about the trains

(06:31):
and the tracks fus for country. So I have also
been trained, Yes, tell me I have been trained. Doesn't
sound like I have, but I have. When I first
started my journey at the age the ripole age of
forty one, or maybe it was forty two. Either way,
it was in my forties when I started to where

(06:53):
was forty three, she says, when I started to awake
until all this, Um, it was after I lost my
mom and and also we lost Mona. And for you,
our listeners, I don't know if we've actually been, you know,
really transparent with how Brenda and I met. But Brenda
has pretty much saved my life. That's why I'm sitting
here today. Help release me function in the world through

(07:18):
such tremendous grief that I was carrying. And so from
working with and meeting Brendan working with Brenda, UM, I
made her be my friend. UM stocking works. I just
want everybody to know. You can't try it on her.
Only I can. It only works for me. But she's
very stalkable, very worthy of the stock. You are so
worthy of the stock. But I met my wife and

(07:40):
I met Brenda, and then she introduced us to her
Crystal Guy. Literally he's called the Crystal Guy, and start
getting side about Crystal the Crystal Guy dot com. Yeah, literally,
that's what he calls himself. And so Susan I lived
in l A and we wanted We're like, well, we
need to get a source, a local source, and so
we stumbled upon the Crystal Matrix and met Patricia Bankins
and um she had a It was interesting. It was

(08:02):
a crystal class. But what I didn't know because I
didn't know really anything and what to expect, is that
um she started teaching us about our chakras before the rocks,
so we would have each class would be about a
chakra and we went through we had actually eight classes

(08:23):
because we had too on the heart and we'll talk
about why that is as we dig into this. UM
So I started learning about the chakras through a crystal
class top by Patricia Bnkins and completely opened my whole everything.
It's when you study the chakras, they open up. It
was and it was literally right. And one of the

(08:46):
reasons that we really wanted to do this episode early
on in you know, our life together as as co hosts,
is I get the chakra question a lot. I also
asked people are like, are you feeling familiar with your chakras?
And I get like a headshake no. And I think
it's was such as an important foundation as we start

(09:09):
to blend right our spirituality in our body the way
it should be. I thought this was such an important
thing for us to talk about because it is the
energy and it is so much connected to everything right,
everything our mind, our body, our soul. So without further ado,
well and just want to want to build on that
for a moment. So hold, hold, We're going to help more,

(09:30):
do more, do not do do so? In this Healing
Touch training, they put pendulums in our hands and head
as test each chakra so that you can trace them
on the body. Like it's how I learned. Yeah, it's
so beautiful to see because it gives you information as
you're offering a healing session where to focus. Because if

(09:52):
it turns clockwise, the chakra is open. If it's counterclockwise,
it's closed. If it goes back and forth is how
I was taught. If it goes back and forth, oh
I'm sorry. If it it goes um counterclockwise, it's like open.
It's moving slowly you'll correct me. You always do. And
then if it moves back and forth, I know what

(10:12):
it is when I do it. How about that, if
it moves back and forth, that's actually when it was closed.
It was it was come to a stands, come to
a standstill. If it was moving counterclockwise, actually it means
it was turning the other way. It's still spinning, but
it's spinning that un in Australia, unless right, you're in Australia,
and then you it's the reverse. Don't listen to a thing.
I just said. That's how I was taught as well

(10:33):
in my trans crystal therapy class um, and that's how
I would know what to do with my person. And
I want to just give a little credibility to the
Healing Touch program because that modality is actually prescribed in
hospitals in many cities in the US. So when before
you go into surgery, they'll prescribe you get a healing

(10:54):
Touch session when you come out, and so this is
very respected in the medical Oh I love that. I
know that. Another thing you teach me as we're sitting
here together, so how we're going to organize ourselves as
we're actually just going to go through one through three,
and we're going to talk about the purpose of each chakra,

(11:16):
the location. There's a color that it emits, there are
organs that it influences, and there's certainly emotions that they drive.
And I think, you know, Brenda, if there is any
other addition to this that you want to talk about,
if we were really want to go deep with folks,
what the physical disease? You know when we talk about well, again,

(11:38):
you can't separate the body, emotional, mental state, right because
we are holistically one entity, right, So we so when um,
the heart chakra, like when I met your heart chakra
was blown out. I mean, I don't even know if
you remember, but you were sitting on that bar stool
and tell them, tell everybody, what what what? When the

(12:00):
moment we met, I was visiting from my well, my
gay husband's some of her best friends, yes, Ruben and Jim,
and we were in their kitchen and Julian Sun had
just returned from a trip and I think you came
over food because you didn't have any. And we met
and you were clearly in the throes of grief, and
I literally put my hand on the back of your

(12:20):
heart and said there's another way. You were just desponded
right completely another way. And then of course I had
a conversation with Ruben, a side conversation, eyebawling him and
saying it would she be open and he's like, I
don't know, we'll see. Well the answer was yes, because
my heart chakra was broken. It was just broken. And

(12:44):
what happens so many times when we grieve, we and
I don't know, I'm kind of jumping into the heart chakra,
but I think it's important to say that. I love that.
I know, but you know, you gotta go back and
forth here, folks, Yes, you said yourself. The heart chacra
is worth two episodes. It is actually so in what
happens when we grieve is oftentimes we end up with

(13:05):
a respiratory situation. Sometimes it can just be a cold,
but oftentimes it's pneumonia. So people end up because it
literally like go where your heart is and go side,
decide there are your lungs exactly. And when we're grieving,
we don't have any freedom to even be ourselves. And
so at the root of grieving is lack of freedom,
Like this is how it all weaves together. Okay, we're

(13:27):
going to stay on the heart for this one more
second because I don't want to miss this. Should we
do four through seven foot and I'm just scared? Um um.
But when you talk about Meridians and acupuncture, so I'm
a big fan of acupuncture, as you said, I love it.
And for Ruse, my doctor in l A. She when
she would put a pen and my body somewhere and
if it burned, I always ask her why is this burning?

(13:48):
Because I figured something like there's always something right. I
want an explanation, what's going on. She had me on
my stomach one day and put a pin like between
my shoulder blades and it burned, and I said, oh,
what's going on? She goes, honey, what are you grieving?
Because this is right behind your heart? And I'm like, ah, yes,
I am grieving. Thank you. I need to do a
better job like that was my response. So I think

(14:11):
we should go start. We should move from the heart,
which we will get too soon firm. Oh my god,
I will them all them all, um. But let's start
with the first chakra, the root chakra known as the
root chakra or the tribal chakra. This chakra, you're such
a green up all right, So this typically vibrates to

(14:32):
the color red. And remember the colors are strictly vibrations, right,
so it's it's red. Um, you've heard us say the
prayer of protection perhaps if you've cut like three of
our other episodes, I think we've included it. But the
prayer protection talks about bringing in a clear red light
of energy, and the this is a very vibrant. When
it's clear, it's very healthy. It means I know who

(14:55):
I am, I'm grounded in my belief system and my
supports system, I know my tribe, I'm ready to go,
I'm strong in my body. Like things are really firing
when it gets cloudy. Because if you have a family,
which we all do right of some form um as
you know, families get messy, right, Things get messy just

(15:17):
a little, you know, things get tangled, things get confused
because in you know, our human state, we like to
play hid and seek with love basically, and so there's
all kinds of ways that this chaklate can get um
mucked up is what i'd say. Um. And so you
you want to really know that you have to create

(15:39):
a healthy tribe wherever you go, no matter what family
you came in because we are hardwired to belong. The
show Survivor, right, it is so popular because it speaks
to our deepest fear that we are going to be
voted off the island of our tribe, right, because then
we're at risk because it's still hardwired in our nervous
system that says, when we don't belong, when our route

(16:00):
chakra is not vibrant and strong, we won't survive when
we're threatened. When this chakra this is when we you know,
I think we've all heard the term like, oh yeah,
I saw red. We go angry too well when wright
when we're threatened, and right when we don't feel safe. Right, So,
anytime we don't feel safe, the root chakra kicks in

(16:20):
and it's gonna snapshot, like it's going to be like wait,
I can't take in this energy because it's going to
take me down. So it's or it's the other where
someone gets really agitated, then they will bleed out red,
so their energy will just be their energy field will
be flooded with red. So just to make this, to
bring this into a very personal place to folks understand,

(16:42):
it's like I will go ahead and I will I
will I will say I know my triggers and the
root chakra. UM. For any of those that may have
read my book, UM know that I was abused by
my stepfather and so I had childhood trauma. And so
when I feel either I need to protect myself or

(17:03):
protect others, I go so red. I mean so red,
like I will rip somebody's throat. I will actually rip
their throat chakra out, I will rip their sacral out,
I will rip their root up. I will rip out
anybody because that's where it's a trigger. And I have
to talk myself down front and ps, I've never struck

(17:23):
another human being in my life. I just have to
say that I just have a big talk, which is
probably why I've never had to UM. But it is
that I dig my heels in and I will come out,
usually swinging with words to protect myself and others because
that's a trigger. I remember, A trigger is when something
happens in the present that puts us in a state

(17:45):
from the past. Time travel right, time, t eive. So
that that and that is an emotional trigger and we
all have them, and you know, so that's that's yours.
And I find ways to calm myself down. That's my key,
right being aware of it. Right, awareness is the first step,

(18:05):
as I say, And also what I'll do is I'll
I will kind of tap on that chakra and move
my um like right above that area, and then I
will actually move my two fingers in a clockwise motion
to get it back spinning, spinning properly, to realize that
like this is bullshit. I do not need to act
out like that. And the energies are to move in

(18:27):
and out of the chakras right there, not to move
in and clamp down there, not to flow out and
flood the right. It's it's a balance of moving in
and out. And so this is the root chakra. So
anytime when we get triggered according to our values, right,
that's that's the foundation. That's the tribal nous of the world,

(18:47):
which for many years on the globe, like we operated
in small tribes. But now the world is big inaccessible
with technology from planes to internet or whatever that thing
called the interweb, the interwebe and and social and whatever. Right,
so now the world is smaller, so we can be

(19:08):
part of a lot of different tribes and we get
triggered by a lot of things that we didn't aren't
familiar with, so they're not part of our chocolate, they're
not part of our foundation. So this is a very
um we can all get mad about something happening in
the UK now where before the Internet we wouldn't even
know what was happening in the UK unless you actually
read a paper. So from a physical standpoint, like one

(19:31):
of what I've used in the past talking about the
first chakra is you know lower back pain. Yeah, well
that can be second or first, depending, right, depending, Let's
say for the sake of argument for today, we're going
to call it first. But like a lower back pain
could be something that is associated with being a little
bit you know, spinning the wrong way, or shutting down

(19:53):
or holding too much or usually it's holding too much
is what we tend to do, right, because we tend
clamped down, right right, just shut everything down when we
get nervous or scared or threatened. So I ashamed, be ashamed,
right right right, that's a big one. Do not shame
your children, or your colleagues or yourself. I can't wait

(20:14):
till we get to the fish chakra in the next
episode because that's one of my favorite things to talk about.
But back to this. But what I find to be
really helpful and maybe you can give better examples, and
I would give from a physical standpoint, But when I
struggle with anything physical, the location of it helps me
understand what I need to go deal with, because sometimes
I don't know exactly what I need to go deal
with because I associate that physical nous with Oh, okay,

(20:41):
I either you know, either grief, right, like the example
that we gave early on lower back pain kidney functioning.
You know, um, I'm scared shitless. I mean, that's a
that came from I think legitimately. If you're so fearful,
you have an issue to shut down. So I'll give
an example. So this is many years ago, but I

(21:03):
was on the rollerblade trail. Did you wear your hat?
And I just want my helmet? So I was, you know,
and I was probably five miles out on this great
trail and mind in my own business, and all of
a sudden, just all of a sudden, I was exhausted.
And this is the first chocolate situation. So that's why

(21:25):
I'm telling this example here. I'm like, I'm not like, oh,
I roller bladed too far and I'm too tired. It's
like I actually have to go to sleep, like I
have no energy in my body. And I know y'all
don't know me, but this was very uncharacteristic of me.
One to does not have any energy and too I
decide I'm just gonna lay down next to the rollerblade

(21:45):
trail like I just. I was so like I had nothing.
It was like it's something just drained right out of me.
So I lay down for just a few minutes. I
don't even know how long I was there, not very long,
and all of a sudden I pop up completely wide awake,
super clear that the man I was dating at the time,
who lived I was in Cincinnati, he lived in Dallas.

(22:06):
I knew instantly he was cheating on me. I was like,
this is a first chakra violation, right, it's of values.
And what did you say, like you son of a bit? Yes,
come on, give us the real story. It's like he's like,
oh you are, so I'm gonna kill you, right, that's right,
because that you go red? Right, I went red, So
I'm going to kill you. So I still, you know,

(22:28):
I get up, I get back on the trail, and
you know, off I go, you know, burning it up,
even though my legs were probably shaking by then. But
you know, get home at column and you know, sure,
and he totally confessed, He totally because he was busted.
He knew he was completely busted. And yeah, so that
was the end of that. But that's the first chocolate violation.
And if you're that kind of guy, do not date
someone that has obvious like screw screwed. But the whole

(22:53):
thing is, the first chakra really governs the entire physicality
right the body. And so when it's a whole body
drain like that, you would go, oh, for chakra, what's
being violated, what doesn't feel safe? That's the the foundation
of the root chakra. Obviously, lots and lots of nuances
that we can't cover because it's not a three hour show.

(23:13):
It's not. So let's move on to the second second
chakra hit us, which okay, sucking chakra. So first of all,
if you put two to three fingers, depending on how
big your fingers are, and you put them horizontally at
the base of your navel, that's your belly button. Thank you,
thank you, my hill billy. That is basically where the

(23:34):
second chakra, or the sacred chakra is found, and this
is typically where I see low back pain show up
in people. Um. It's literally the sacred chakra because a
lot of times people have sacred issues that sacred will
slip out and things like this. Um. This is a
highly sensitive place culturally speaking, because it has to do

(23:56):
with relationships, emotions, sexuality, partnerships, finances. Have I hit any
of your triggers out there? Right? So this is a
very tender place, which is if you look at the stats,
it says of workers in the US have called in
sick due to back pain, right, And I'm like, yeah, finances, partnership, sexuality, Like, okay,

(24:19):
then I have a confession because you have to confess
every episode. Okay, confession And Susanne will confirm this because
it's hilarious. After we we had met been together in
a like six or eight months, so this was seven
years ago. Whatever it was, I was not feeling well
and I called in sick and she sounds like, what's wrong.
I'm like, maybe I'm constipated. I cannot go into work today.

(24:41):
So I called in constipated. So I was obviously having
some second chocker issues. I now know what was going
on at that time. Nice confession. Everyone's welcome. You now
know that that is a real thing. Calling constra I
didn't tell them. I just told what was to be
my soon to be wife. You didn't all in really
tell hr Oh, guys, I just can't function, not today.

(25:07):
I think I threw this off a little bit. But
that's fine, that's all good. So this this governance, of course,
kidneys right, obviously bowels in general immune system like that
in loweck. So that's this area typically vibrates to an
orange color and it's very very vibrant. The emotions here
gets supercharged, and so when you're out of whack, you

(25:29):
can be emotionally kind of snippy or emotionally sensitive. Right,
It depends on your personality whether you know, I feel
exposed right now. If you guys can see my face,
I'm like, gosh, that's me. I know. I get snippy,
get emotional, yeah, and you know there's a lot of
reasons to get emotional, but chances are you may just
want to give that second chakra a little spin. And

(25:50):
remember the two through six centers actually have a front
end back to them. We tend to focus on the
front because every picture of chacolras. You've ever seen a
little circles plastered on the front of the body, but
there are actually three dimensional funnels that attach inside the
body right in front of the spine, and so that's

(26:11):
the like these little funnels. So remember the front and
back twoth or six and I will say this is um.
I hope this will be a helpful hint. When I
in my past life working in a movie studio, if
I knew I was going into a movie that was
going to be a movie that's funny. If I was
going into a meeting that was highly charged and I
knew it was highly charged, I would actually sit at

(26:31):
my desk quietly, and I would imagine that there was
a dial right in front of my second chakra, and
I would actually dial it down a bit so I
didn't go in their emotional or respond to their emotional issues.
Brilliant system. And what I would do when I will say,
what you're gonna tell me, I'm wrong, screwed it up?
It's perfect. What I would do. Literally when I worked

(26:53):
at the intergalactic headquarters of this fortune fifty company, I
would remember, she's from cincinnat So I would close my
door and on my car, and as I turned away
from my car, I would shut down all my systems
to operate a right. It's because it was not an
environment where I felt comfortable, you know, where I literally

(27:14):
had to hide who I was, and so this was
not This is how I dealt with it, and your
your talkers can run the whole system can run completely
well for short amounts of time, and then when I
get back in my car full speed. I wanted to
take a pause for a second to remind everyone that
these things that we're talking about, these are ways for
you to become or stay in charge of your own life.

(27:39):
And if there are instances like and we just gave
work instances of that, we have the power, especially when
you're present and you're thoughtful about what you're doing, to
deal with our lives like this. So whether it is
I want to supercharge something, I can turn it up
if I want to, you know, be very mindful and
be invisible, or make sure that I can control my

(28:01):
own emotions because I know I'm an emotional person. Duh
hashtag duh, I'm an emotional gal, and I know that
in certain situations I need to turn that I need
to dial it down because I don't want to say
things I'll regret. I'm also at work, so I don't
want to do something stupid. I don't want to do
anything stupid in general. But major stupid, little stupid is fun.

(28:22):
Big stupid is not fun. Big stupid is dangerous. But
I know this about myself, So know thyself enough well.
And the thing that's so brilliant about this is so
we talked about in the Rick chakra, how families are
not always harmonious and the most supportive. And you get
the family you get, but that doesn't have to be
the family you live with. You know, activated way, But
when you are in an environment, family or work that

(28:44):
isn't conducive to who you are, you are in control.
You don't have You are in control of you right
and you are you know, back to your three year
old self. You're the boss of you. And instead of
like I gotta go to this and it sucks, is
gonna suck, This is gonna suck, you go wait a minute,
I have a choice. I'm empowered. I can take care
of myself. I'm golden. I can interact with people. I
don't diss them, but I don't get triggered by them.

(29:06):
I don't have to be supercharged or get drained by them.
It's it's a brilliant empowering tool to know these things.
I have a friend who owns a crystal mine actually,
and this girl gets around I do, I do. I
run in some very interesting crowds. And he was struggling

(29:29):
with infections and that turned into more than that and
his urinary track and somebody who worked for him a
few years part of that stole a lot of gems
from him because he doesn't just have crystals. I mean
he has coon sight, and he has termalines, and he
has aqua marines like very expensive and he was piste

(29:51):
off and he was piste off and I had a
conversation with him about coming to terms dealing with this
and moving away from that emotion because it's a it's over.
He can't do anything about it, and to stop being
so piste off. He shouldn't up getting cancer there because
and I want to just a learn he's still alive,

(30:11):
which is amazing and I love him, and remembering that
there is something you can do about it. Right, the
move of forgiveness will help reset right. You forgive yourself
because part of it was beating I'm sure beating himself
up for trusting the guy, of course it was. And
then and then, so all that's happening, and he has
all that anger in the emotional body, he took it
right into his physical body and made himself sick. Yeah,

(30:31):
this is all real, you all, this is Yes, we're
having fun with it and telling stories, but this is
so real. And this is really such an opportunity to
learn more about yourself and how to take care of yourself,
how to really take care of yourself, because you know,
when they say being angry only hurt yourself, that's true
on so many levels. Being anger is what I think,

(30:53):
if I had to pick one thing that I wish
that we could heal of everyone, for everyone is anger
because it causes so much chaos in our body and
our society and everything, and for us to learn to
deal and to, like Brenda said, forgive release all those things.
And when we don't forgive, it's unkind to us and harmful. Yeah,

(31:16):
that's why we think it's about the other person hurt ourselves. Yeah,
you really, it's the power move. I think it is.
I think it's a superpower. Yeah. The third shot. Oh sorry, yea,
I was going to head to the third show. I
was gonna I will meet you there. That's chra. Okay,
This to me is such a powerful, powerful center because

(31:36):
it is the place of when we are not at
our best. And if you're someone who internalizes and burns
on things, it can really really be vulnerable here the
third chacol Like literally, if you can palpate your body
like so touch yourself another way talks like that, yourself,

(31:59):
I touch yourself. Sorry, I was trying to. I was
trying to do the hilly transaction. You're actually doing it,
come out, Julie. So basically, find your ribs, find your
bottom ribs, and then meet them. Right when they meet,
they come to the center. Right there is basically where
your third chocolate is. Right, A few layers of pope
faths and I have to get through to get there.

(32:19):
But I think I got it right. You can feel
it and so right, you've got the bottom ribs and
you can feel it. It's very tender, right, it's very tender.
So this is your third Chacolra, also known as the
solar plexus. Plexus just means that's where all the nerves meet,
and it typically spins to a yellow color. And this
is obviously a huge digestion here of pancreas, liver, skin,

(32:40):
nervous system. These are the areas that coverns in your
body because our skin is an organ, the largest largest
an organ. I think that people get confused if they
have something happening on their skin. They're trying to attribute
it to something external, something external, which it can be,
but it's not always. Yeah, I mean, let's if it's
poison ivy, fine, but if like if you got if

(33:00):
you get, if you get bit or something mosquito, hate
those little bit So this center of self esteem and
self worth and confidence, this center logs. It's like the
black box of every compliment you've ever received and every
slight you've ever taken. Right, anything like those wounds and

(33:21):
those accolades live in here forever. When we get triggered,
this is often like get the feeling of I just
threw up in my mouth a little bit, right, and
that it comes from the third chakra. This is also
that feeling you told the story of you thought you
left a candle burning at work, right, And and it's
that third chacolra snapping shut that makes you go oh
my god, Like did I did I really leave that

(33:42):
candle burning? Damn it? I gotta go back, right, It's
this it's a very sensitive center and it's one that
we all. It's always sensing like this chacol when it's open,
it's always sensing. Am I safe? Right? Because it's it's
a self esteem, self confidence and safety as well from
different safety. It's a different thing difference. It's more psychological safety.
Think of it as psychological safety. Thank you for that.

(34:04):
I would also say this is a center that is
super charged in a different way because of social media, right,
because of how Instagram changed how it's recording likes, like
it's in some countries it's not letting people see their
likes anymore because they would be so crushed when their
post and get a lot of likes, or they take
down the post because it didn't have enough likes and

(34:25):
things like that, and they're like they're testing this, you know,
is it really hurting people? Because this area is of
course it is, of course it is. How could it not?
And think about it. When you get nervous about something,
you stop breathing, right or you don't. You do lung breathing,
which is culturally what the US does where lung breathers,

(34:46):
but the diaphragm, which is sits right on top of
that where those ribs split. Right, go ahead, touch yourself again,
just one hand, right, but right, this is where the
diaphragm sits. And this is what we This is the
more efficient way to breathe is through the diaphragm. It's

(35:06):
a deeper breath, it's a slower breath, and it comes
the nervous system. So what happens when we don't when
we aren't able to breathe deeply and because we're nervous,
if we can reverse that and take a deep breath,
it will help open up that center, which is super helpful.
Which is why if you talk to any performers, speakers, athletes,
they will talk about taking ten d breaths before they

(35:27):
hit the stage or they hit the field. And then
I think, also if you want to go back to
our skin and talk about rashes a little bit, because
I know a lot of people, well list a lot
of people break out and rashes on their skin. And
this is associated to this chakra chakra because the way
you've talked about it is that you know we are
skin it's about rejection, right, Like there's some sort of

(35:47):
rejection when we have our skin breakout. I think about it,
when someone says something that makes you uncomfortable, you your
face will flush, right, it's a skin reaction. I have
one client who, when she speaks in front of her
crush so good at her job. She's brilliant at a job,
and when she speaks in front of the crowd, her
neck gets really blotchy. And so she always has to
wear a tone like when she's presenting, because it's her

(36:11):
nervous system, right. And so these in all these ways
that these systems are so congruent in our lives, which
is why you can't separate the body, the mind, the spirit.
It is all one. Well, when I look in the
mirror and if I see is it? Uh No? For real?
And I'm fifty and I still have them because they're
little bits of little things of anger. And I have

(36:32):
said I'm an emotional gal, and so I'm like, okay,
what am I mad about? What? This is not? Okay?
So again I say this just because it's the beauty
of being aware. Right, None of us were, You've always said,
and some of my favor you say so many things
that are my favorite, but I will say one of
my most favorite things that you have said is that
we are perfectly imperfect without a doubt. Right. We wouldn't

(36:55):
be here if we were perfect, right, we would be
saying something I'd be ain't Julian, I'm I'm so angling
for that, um. But we're perfectly imperfect, right, And so
to be able to look at that. When I see
something or I feel something in my body and I
know there's something to deal with, I'm not I'm not
embarrassed about it. I'm not ashamed of it. It's like,

(37:16):
oh no, I just need to deal with it and
hope that I learned to deal with it where I
don't have to do it again and again. I really
only like to screw up once, maybe twice, of doing
the same thing. But if I can figure out how
to adjust and deal, I win. I win with a lesson,
And that is the beauty of these conversations. Maybe you

(37:37):
are masterful in your awareness of chakras, and maybe this
is a whole introduction to you and you get it's
an invitation to pay attention and to weave and the
next layer and go, what's what's my body telling me?
What is my body? Tell what's where do I feel this?
I don't feel good? Where do I not feel good? Right?
Where's the energy stuck? Really? Where's the energy stuck? Right?

(38:00):
Just like just like telephone poles right and from one
pole wires one pole to the other. If you're not
getting the energy that goes through, there's something that is
making that energy stuck. Right, you have to go unstick
that energy so that energy can flow through those wires.
I was visualizing the poles and seeing the wires. I'm glad,

(38:22):
I'm glad there's no there's no bird on it that
we can put a bird on the wire. Now, okay,
with that, enjoy your centers, touch yourself, have fun. You
have an amazing guidance system literally hard wired in your
systemsh TEG touch yourself magnificent. Thank you everyone for tuning
