Um stumbled upon what lots of other people have been doing,

which is the intermittent fasting. So when I was in Tucson,
would you do that with Keto anyhow? No? No, no,
I should have. No I didn't. Yeah, rumor has it
that it was. But do I think anything the way
it's supposed to be done? The answers, No, I don't ever.

Oh my god, you're such a creative elves. It's just true.
So when when we were in Tucson, I'm like, oh,
I'm starving. What the hell? What time is it? It It
was four o'clock. I was like, oh, well, being around
the rocks will do that too. Oh my god, I
don't need food. Yeah, I literally don't need food when

I'm around the rocks. I know. It's funny, right, It's
like I should just live there. Um, then I would
be an old supermodel. Um. So I started, I snocks
you more on. I know it is. That's why that
it would be me. Um. So I started doing it
and I'm doing the eight hours on, sixteen hours off,

and I love it because it reminds me because I'm
the girl that needs boundaries like in every which way.
But we all do, right, But if you think about,
like you go to a bowling alley and they have
those bumpers and the gutters, that's me. I need those.
And so the time is really fantastic, it's great. I've
really enjoyed it. So I guess I'm the last one

on this train, um, and I'm enjoying the ride. That's
so that's my news. We would say the boundaries create freedom.
Oh they totally do. Yeah, that's that's I love people
like no, I need to be free. If you want
to be free, you have boundaries. Uh huh oh yeah.
It was like a little kid bowling, you know how
disappointed throwing the gutter the whole time so that at
least get to hit a few pins down. So that

so I get to hit a few pins down and
the pins are pounds, so nice. Anyway, back to Aura's
but I just, uh, you know, I wanted to share.
Sharing is caring um so we Oh my god, I
would say what's wrong with us? And they answer to
be everything. I can't believe. This is another thing like

it was with Palm Street that I can't believe. We
haven't talked more about ooras. So this is we talked
about some yeah yeah, but dedicated yeah, dedicated to the
one you love. Um buckle yourself in people. It's combining
the whole time and probably so probably so aura. So

I'm gonna read, I kind of read, just get so
those that maybe aren't is familiar with ours can at
least have somewhat of a working definition for it. Um
and this is off of our friend Wikipedia aunt wicki
um So. Aunt Wickie says that, according to spiritual beliefs,
an aura or energy field m is a colored emanation

said to enclose a human body or an or any
animal or object and some esoteric positions I don't know
the fact that means uh. The ore is described as
a subtle body. Psychics and whole medicine practitioners often claim
they have the ability to see the size, color, and
type of vibration of an aura. There there's possibly the

least helpful definition I've ever heard because it's from aunt wiki. Yeah,
I meant what is that right? Exactly? What? Yeah, so
they're like that reducing words that needs to be defined,
so and so anyhow, basically, it's the energy field, right,
It's the energy field around something that's alive. Do um
are there? Do inanimate objects have fields? Yes? Vibrates to zero,

but especially places have energy fields because of all the
activity that's taken place around or inside of those places, right, right,
So that's generated by real life people and sometimes spirits.
Well can I do ideas also have that? Like so
when you and I were talking about having a podcast

that it kind of create its own little energetic body
of its own of an idea. Here I hear people
talk about like that's not necessarily that would be more
like a meme than than an energy field. Got it?
Got it? Yeah? I love that. So I've had some
um well actually let me let me just say, like,

(06:17):
what what's really interesting? Because we've in fact I had
an or an aura photo done when I was with you.
I mean this has been years ago and Cincinnati at
the Psychic Fair. Yeah, and it's a really fun thing
to do. Oh, it's totally fun. It's like Susanne and
I have talked about can we buy a use one

(06:39):
for the house to just play with it. I'm like, okay,
that's something we would do, by the way, I know, right,
that would be fun. It would be fun, right because
you would have so many friends. Oh my god, it
would be a blast. Right. You don't want to have
a line out around the house because it is a
moment in time, yah, right, Like, I think that's the

most important thing about or photography is the way especially
is it's always been a moment in time because it
can change like on a dime, and people forget that,
you know, that is the one thing you have to
remember when you do have these done it at these
events or at my ELF's house, you have to Yeah,

well you just have to remember it is because your
aura is alive, it's attached to you. It's the record
keeper of your life. Like it literally is the black
box of your embodiment, and so it's moving as you are.
You get a great email from a dear friend or
an offer you've been waiting for, or you won your

(07:45):
eBay auction or you know whatever, like yeah, and then
you um, you know, get a bad email and something's
disappointing or something blew up that you weren't counting on,
and then you know your your your energy changes, rights change,
your mind changes, your energy changes. It's all connected. So
if you you know, like, oh I had you know,

(08:08):
I have a yellow band in my aura for that
moment you did, Yeah, right, exactly exactly. Well, there was
a guy, he was a French physician, a guy not
from la but from France, UM and I can't pronounce
his name, doesn't matter, But in the eighteen nineties UM

(08:30):
he actually started capturing what he I think eventually coined
as an aura and photography and he was using like these.
He saw these, he thought the human body produced aura
like images under infrared photography. So this is something that
we've been fascinated with as a species. UM. And that's

(08:50):
just what's been noted now. Who knows how much earlier
that it was, but it's really fascinating that this is
because if anybody's seen an infrared you know, you see
it's more heat, right that is coming. So it's like
a hot cold type of coloring system that you see.
But I could totally understand why they would look at
this and think that this is something that is you know,

(09:13):
I guess it's off the bomb and onto them. Yeah,
it's off the body. It's off the body. Yeah, which
is really fun. Yeah, I had so I just have
to tell, of course, the story because that's what I do.
So seeing Auras is it's like seeing colors is not
one of my superpowers, but I know it is others.
And years ago, Susanne and I went to an oprah

winfree event, yes name dropping in the first ten minutes people,
and we were invited to a private dinner that was
after her show, and so I had invited obviously Susanne,
and then I invited my publisher from Simon and Schuster,
and we are entertaining not only ourselves but everybody else

(10:01):
in the room because um like they're all teaching each
other how to see or is against like a white
white wall. Uh it was, I mean it was fascinating,
So I couldn't. I'll just tell everybody I don't. I
don't see that. I see other things. I don't see that.
But Suzanne's over there like covering my friend Anthie's one eye,

(10:21):
telling her to soften her view and all this kind
of stuff. I mean, it was just but it's it's
more of a thing now, like people talk about ores,
like I'm telling you twenty years ago, I don't think
people were talking about them in a very public way,
a public way, in a broader way, like a bigger tent.
But I think there's a bigger tent that is unfolding.
I think it is probably the best way to say it.

(10:42):
And there's no doubt. Right. We see companies now that
are calling themselves or there's a thing called an or ring,
which I thought was something sexual but apparently it's not.
I really did when I first saw them, like it
takes body measurements. It's like a like, is that what
it is? Yeah? It was okay, but yeah yeah. And um,

(11:04):
and there's like there's an Aura Bakery. My friend Matt
named his dog Aura Gaily because mainly because his dog
is always around him. Um, it's like it's his aura. Um. Right.
So but we see this like bigger tent that is
I think being being expanded now where Um, I think

(11:26):
it's something we need to dig in and to talk
to folks about what what does it all mean? I
think that when we come back from a break, I
think we should both kind of share experiences with it
the teachings that I've had, um, and the teachings that
probably you've had and that you've done. I'm more of
a receiver on the teaching end with a lot of
this stuff, because I sound like a dipshit half the
time when I try to explain to other people. UM,

(11:48):
but we'll let you clear up all my misgivings. We'll
be right back. We're back everybody from Julie's misgivings. So
I think probably the best thing to do never is like,
well Brenda, please talk and so she can clear up

(12:09):
whatever the hell Julie's trying to say. So I think
it would be best to hand over to my illustrious
co host talk about her experiences with ours. Well, the
thing about ours is that everyone's going, oh my god,
just like buttholes. Like we always said, it's like everyone's
got an opinion, right, So, like you have your own

(12:30):
experience of your energy field, and it is a great
conductor of information. It's how you scan when you know
you're just in a space or in a conversation, you're like,
where's that, where's the opening or where's where's this conflict?
How can I you know, find a way in to
this conversation because I'm not connecting with this person like

(12:51):
you're doing that with your field all the time. And
you know we've talked before, how even when you're you're
going to event or something that's happening, like you're kind
of scanning energetically in your field. Where would I like
to sit? Left, right, center? You know, like your well,
your body is scanning where am I going to be
the safest, Where am I going to be the most comfortable,

(13:13):
where you know, perhaps where is the most auspicious. UM
and your guides are outlways downloading information into your field
so that to help encourage you on a path of
ease or inspiration or healing or whatever it is you're
you're working on. UM. And for me, I've studied a
lot in the of the field and the chakras, which

(13:36):
are inextricably connected through meditation, through readings, learning how to
read fields as well as healing right. I'm trained obviously
in different modalities, but the Holistic Nursing Association had created
a system called Healing Touch and they use the centers,

(13:58):
the chakra centers and working through the field, raking through
the field, all kinds of different techniques so the ability
to see, to operate within, to be respectful, to literally
be able to discern the layers just by passing your
hand through the layers of knowing, oh, this is where
the first layer ends and the second one begins. And
you can see bands of color at time, mostly when

(14:19):
you're in a healing capacity. Excuse me. What you want
and be able to see is where there are blocks
where something's ready to be released, things like this and
and so, And if you don't have the ability to see,
or the lighting is not right, or you know, sometimes
you just don't have permission, that's all fine too. But
there are techniques of you moving through the field with

(14:40):
your theoric thing, with your energy hands, things like this,
and so you can feel the field in so many
different ways. You can see it. If you close your
eyes and scan, you can feel it, you know, sometimes
just scanning with your third chakra or with your energy hands,
like you can be off the body and really get
so much information if you just don't, you know, rub

(15:00):
those palms togethers fingerspread apart, and just really open up
those palm chakras so they're ready to receive and then
just pass them, you know, over the body. So it's
just a really energy, supercharged venue of information that once
you can tap into, there's a lot of information to

(15:22):
guide support. And you know, that's when you're working with
other people, other places, but learning to discern your own field,
when to open it up, when to shut down. You know.
I think I've shared before that, particularly when I worked
at the Partner and Gamble Company Downtown, I was instructed
by my guides to make sure my energy field was

(15:43):
shut down to twenty to thirty percent when I walked
into this space. And remember that the building I was
working and was built over graveyards, so it was Appleaian
graveyards and so this yeah, so this is what they
told me. And I'm like, oh, great, that this is
very help. But it's you know, to have the awareness

(16:04):
of how you can shut down your field. Just like
when you are fully expanded, your energy field is wide
open when you get really excited about something. Let's say
you're going to a concert or you know they can't
wait to hear you. You see your favorite artist or
a show or a party, and your field is wide open,
your heart is wide open. You can pick up a

(16:24):
lot of you know, different energies because the field is
wide open. You don't have those boundaries in those places
because you're not thinking about that. So it can be
expansive and supportive, and it can also be like, oh,
I have to take an energetic shower when I get
home because it can be exhausting. All of a sudden,
you have all this other debris operating in your field.

(16:45):
So these are things to consider. Yeah, that's so when
I was trained, when I was doing my mediumship training
with Ema, I also she trained me on my or
because she said at first thing, she goes your oars
out the door. She's like, you are sweeping up more
things than you need to. So it's first thing I'm

(17:07):
gonna Yeah, No, it's very Oh I can I have
a movement now that I do because I have to
kind of physically move to bring it in. I know
I don't have to, but it's just part of my things.
It's helpical. Yeah. Yeah. And so yeah, and so I
kind of like do this thing where I take I
put my kind of elbows out for my body and
I'll go pull it in. Yeah, but that's it. But

(17:30):
that's kind of what I have to do because otherwise
I'm just like throwing it all over the place. Um,
and and it is. And I can tell you the
difference when I said, I haven't been in many crowds
in the last three years, but when I would go
into crowds, I would, I would shrink that I would.
I just made thinner layers. Is effectively, I was just compressing.
It is really what I was doing, and it made

(17:52):
it more pleasant for me. And it's really important to
know that when you have that, when the layers are
tight like that, the energy flow is no problem. Like
there's no no pashment in the capability of the system
of the field, there's no diminishment at all. Right, So
so please know that when you're like, okay, shutting down
to thirty percent, hugging it in, right, So so you're

(18:14):
thirty So yeah, so yours is a compression as well. Yeah,
exactly what you're saying. Yeah, that's exactly what happens. It's
a compression. When I back in the day, when I
used to teach at home and then I would send
people out for lunch. Right, So whatever class I was teaching,
you know, let's say it was spirit guides or something,
I would have everyone stand up and uh, and then

(18:36):
I would pretend like, okay, zip up your energy or
or a sleeping bag. And so I'd start with the
zipper in front and like zip it up close, it
over the crown and down to their heels behind them.
So it's like now we're all, you know, like boundary set.
We're not going to be like we're not gonna be
like energetic pink pig pen out in the world like right,

(18:58):
and we're not going to be taking in information. We
are contained. Now you are able to drive. And then
I also recommended that they just walk in the yard
to get to their cars, like get literally touched the earth,
get arounded, right, because when you're working in those upper centers,
if you've been meditating, praying, chanting, singing, sometimes dancing, ecstatic dance,
things like that will get you your your upper center

(19:21):
is just so expansive, like you're just high on life
and like I can do anything, you know, And then
you get what's that is? It is it? It feels
like a fluttery kind of thing. Yeah, well it's it's ecstatic, right.
It just feels like life is magic. You know. It's
a great place to be, but it's a tough place
to drive, right, Yeah, But I love that that that

(19:42):
zipper like, yeah, a sleeping bag kind of that's fit
your aura bag. That thing is fantastic. That's a really
great way, super right for people do that. You know.
I was also taught it's really fascinating where um uh
Amy would sit in a chair um and she would
tell me to walk out like eight ten feet in

(20:04):
the room and then kind of make my way closer
if to read her aura. And it was so interesting
because it's part of that whole thing too about testing
about trusting yourself, you know. But I actually knew the
emotion because I remember the emotion test or whatever it
was that we were doing in that particular band, and

(20:26):
uh and it was right like it was. It was
just crazy that you can read that like you can
just and it doesn't take a lot of effort, you know,
It's just it takes a lot of awareness, because what
people have awareness, not effort. Yeah, it's different, I guess, yeah,
I don't know if the difference because when you're learning
to read someone's or someone's field, you have to be
able to be aware of and neutralize your own field,

(20:49):
right because you're looking through all your layers while you're
sessectly rights and so exactly. You know, um, we'll skip
that step often and so it's just yeah, well and
invite and and I just I think that for me,
it actually gave me a lot of calmness and what
I pulled my field in, especially practicing mediumship. Um, I

(21:14):
wasn't like a lighthouse to everybody else out there. All
the other spirits to come in thinking that they were invited.
So I had to pull that in. In fact, I
noticed when um, like if we're at restaurants, then I
start getting all the stuff going on around me. I'm like, oh,
and I go yeah, and I actually make the noise.
Yeah yeah, just tuck it in baby, and then and

(21:37):
then all that chatter stops. It's really interesting for me
how that kind of evolved and how I use it
in kind of day to day. I also use it,
like you said, because you taught me how to use
our hand chakras and kind of use that to read
things right, to scan and so you know, it's one
of those things that I think that we all should
pay attention to. It's just it is like you can

(22:01):
even put like if you have a big choice in
front of you, and you know, if you're not a
tarot reader or something you don't can't don't have that divination. Like,
write those two choices down on a piece of paper,
rub your palms together, open up with those, and see
where you get the biggest poll. See which right, Just
write those, write those two things down, draw a circle
around it, because you want to try and contain that

(22:22):
energy in that specific space. I'd use two different pieces
of paper because that's how I roll. But you know,
and just scan to see which one has the biggest
pull for you, like little things like that, you're your field,
Well we'll tell you, like there's so much information in
the field, Well, there is. And as to think about it,
like for those listening, if you're like if you're on
a conference call, let's say, and you're not facing the door,

(22:44):
your back is, but you feel somebody's there. That isn't
that your aura helping you kind of navigate the space
around you. It just it depends. I mean, there's a
lot of situations that would light up your back. But
I mean, well, depending on what's on the call, right,
you know, it's totally totally totally sally yeah, but that
it helps us identify those things. I mean that I have.
I've actually used it for that. Um Uh again there

(23:09):
it is much more complicated, I think than what I
it's but it's a nuanced of course, but it is. Um.
But there's ways to use it to your advantage. Like
I used it all the time once I learned what
the hell it was, um, when I was working at
Fox Film, because I would walk into a room and
I would I let it out because I wanted to see,

(23:29):
like I want to grab what I needed to grab it. Boy,
I pulled that, I got the information, and I pulled
it in and I was reading that room like crazy.
And there are times if if I was too far
away from somebody, I would kind of take it out
a little bit. Had no idea those little like psychic
games I played at work. Um, But it was to
do it was all for good for the record. It
was never bad. Um. But you know, because like it's

(23:53):
especially for impass. Being able to manage that is really crucial,
well for the impass, which is like nine percent of
our audience. Right. But yeah, is it that you're doing
it anyhow, you might as well do it with refinement
and with making sure you're cleaning your field every day,
Like that's super critical, it's super super important. Yes, so
we can talk about that when we come back. We

(24:15):
will do that, all right, y'all, we're back, and we're
gonna talking about cleaning. Little spring cleaning happening here, a
little cleaning happening here. So yeah, so let's talk. So
hit us, hit us up with like what are your

(24:36):
what are your best ways? Like tell us how you
do it or how we should do it? Well the
hell you want to tell us about that? There's all
kinds of ways to clean your aura, and all of them,
you know, none of them are wrong, is what I'm
gonna say. But I just want to talk for a
second about just reminding people that the first chukra that
you know, cone shaped, that the pointy end is attached

(24:57):
to just inside the spine points down towards the ground,
flows out of the central channel and out and just
hugs the whole body into the first layer. So the
first chakra is attached to the first layer. Second chakra
front and back is attached to the second layer that
lays on top of the first, and so on all
the way up. So the first layers, the closest one

(25:18):
just like you know, the root of the chakra. The
first layers the closest one to the body, and then
the other layers include and go move beyond all the
other layers. Right, So that's what I want to say
about that. Now, if you know ways, and it's really
fun to work with pendulums to trace the each chakra
and you can just you know, hold it four to

(25:41):
six inches in front of you and just say, you know,
picking up the first chakra and then the second chakra
right and just move them up your body. It's a
great way to check in to say, wait, are are
my center is balanced? Are they spinning clockwise? Are some
of them not spinning at all? Which is fine. Again,
we don't freak out about this because it's just information

(26:01):
and we know how to shift, move and cleanse each layer.
So it's to spine and you can just keep it
really simple, right, so you can just breathe in. So
chakra tends to spin to red. Whichever color you perceive
your centers and layers to spin, you can work with them.
But if the default is just working with the colors

(26:23):
of the rainbow, right, so you can just think about
a red light flushing through the entire chakra, the entire
layer and let it wrap all around you. Sometimes we
think only in the front and we don't pay attention.
But the front is the personal level, so that's all
your personal noise, the day to day stuff, and the
back is the universal like more at the soul level,

(26:43):
and so you would want to the collective level as well,
like how I engage in with the planet at this time,
and there's so much going out in the world right now,
we really want to cleanse the level of the backside
as well. So you just bathe in this beautiful cleansing,
clearing red light and then send all the breed down
a grounding chord. Then you inhale move up, and you

(27:06):
just go through each color of the rainbow, moving you know,
through the orange color of the chakra front back out
into the second layer, which includes the first layer front,
back and three sixty around. You can even like spin
little tornadoes around you in different colors. Have fun with
it whatever you can. It can be like a wave
that just washes over you, or a shower that comes
down over like whatever. You know, do a visual that

(27:28):
works for you, or you can use the seed sounds
of the chakras um and you can find them online.
But um um um um, yum hum, and then silent
like you can do that as well. So um, but
this is really subtle ways to do that. And of
course you can do all kinds of There are are

(27:49):
yoga poses you can do tied to each chakra as well,
or essential oils and on and on and on. You
can use a feather and smudge yourself, you know, like
you can like really there's there's just so many ways
to clear the field. And you know, as as you're
releasing thing from senior field, you may have images or
memories of like what's maybe at the core. But I

(28:12):
really encourage you to not get too triggered by it,
because it could be that's what's showing up today and
it was from ten years ago, ten days ago. It
doesn't matter. What we're looking for is refreshing today, refreshing today,
Like that's what we're looking for. Say, you have all
your energy to navigate your day, So I think that
those are great ways to do that. I literally I

(28:34):
think like this is like brushing your teeth. It's like
taking you know, somehow bathing to energetically bathe at the
beginning and end of the day really helpful, really really aful.
I promise if you do a two week practice and
pay attention to how your engagements shift, you'll find an ease.
You'll find it like, you know what, that was hard,

(28:56):
but it wasn't that hard. It wasn't impossible, Like it
was easier than it would have been without that practice.
And it doesn't take long. It doesn't take more than
five ten minutes at the most. Yeah, So I love that.
I don't do it twice a day. I'm going to
work on that. UM. I have elfoys to do things,
UM which I don't want to share just because I

(29:19):
get people doing the wrong thing. No, but it's um.
I Also, I do a lot of clearing with water,
and you know, so whether it's swimming, whether it's showering,
whatever it is, it's like that is a time that
I clear and release and water is such a great conductor, right, Yeah,
it's beautiful yea. But I do with intention. It's not

(29:41):
just like I jump in the shower and all of
a sudden everything is fine. It's like it's intentional, right,
And there have been times, and I'm not gonna lie
in the last month that I would get into whatever
the hell I was doing with in like a shower
and water, and forgot to rense the conditioner out of
my hair. So note to everybody, do a check before

(30:03):
you go out. And if you got a rinse conditioner
out because it was no fun, why you may want
to separate your daily bathing from your ritualistic cleansing exactly
first before you start right seriously, how ridiculous is that? Um?

(30:25):
But I do. I still want to call out to
those who are really sensitive that this is I think
an important thing to spend some time on, research, practice
all of those things, because as someone who formerly felt
everybody else's bullshit, it really helped me tremendously, tremendously. And

(30:46):
also I think I naturally read people's ors, like I
think I told a story one time when at my
books at my first book signing at Barnes and Nobles
in La, I hugged a friend and I pulled away
and I looked at her and I said, you're sick.
And she looked at me and I said it's cancer,
and she goes, how did you know? And I think
I was just read something I was going on. Yeah,

(31:10):
And look, it's always important to do this because for
those of us who are very sensitive. We're aware of
the how taxing it is, but we're not always aware
of what it is, right and so this this practice
is essential for your well being. I mean, yes, today
more than it because it to something the world people are,

(31:33):
