Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Insider's Guide to the Other Side, a production
of My Heart Radio. Hi y'all, I'm Julie. Hi there,
I'm Brenda. Welcome to Insider's Guide to the other Side.
Now you all need to know that we are obsessed
with everything on the other side. Yes we are, because
(00:21):
once you learn to navigate the energetic, or to some
the invisible world, life is going to be more fun
and much more serene. Heck, yes it can, because, let's
be honest, brand earth school is hard. In fact, you
taught me that, let's crush earth school together. Well, Hello,
(00:51):
I like it. I like it. Well, how are you?
I'm doing great, and how are you? You know, I'm
doing pretty darn good. Loving the change of the weather
like I'm swimming again. It's just that whole like being outdoors.
Although it's a hot eared hell right now, but it
is really really awesome to be outdoors and just kind
(01:13):
of lived that part of the life again. So it's nice, nice, nice,
if it is very enjoyable. Yeah, So today I'm super
excited because you know, you are back in action and
you're teaching again, like going in person, and you know,
we were right and we talked about the beautiful story
that you had with Eslin, which I love that story
(01:34):
the whole thing. I like, let's redo it. And I'm
just kidding. And and so I believe that you're going
to be teaching again in September out of the dates
September twelve through okay, uh, and that's in California, correct, um.
And I just I and I believe you're going to
teach a class about spirit guides. And I would just
(01:57):
love to have a conversation because we've talked to obviously
about spirit guides before, but we continue to get questions.
And you know, one thing that I just want to
say up front of everybody. We are you know, it
would be irresponsible for us to try to teach you
so to so to speak on a podcast because we
there's no way to teach people how to do this,
(02:19):
um without uh conversation with you. There's tony variables that
we can't accommodate because of all the listeners, right, so
I would not be able to, you know, just adjust
to accommodate the teachings. So we are talking generally about
spirit guides instead of trying to teach class because we
get all kinds of questions about guides. Its fascinating, right,
(02:44):
Like I think all the guys I think guides are
are And I guess my personal fascination is because I
have had the good fortune of developing a relationship and
I feel very lucky with that, and I just ascinated
by it. I know how life can be different when
you do establish that relationship. So I'm gonna tell everybody
(03:07):
from an else perspective, if you can make it to
Brenda's class, take it. It is definitely life changing, very
very life changing. So anyway, so there's my little mini
commercial for how I think it's importantly. It's just such
a gift in your life, and it's fun that keeps
on giving, Like it's you're not overstating it when you
say it's life changing, because it's just it just is.
(03:29):
The whole world is. Like it's more playful, it's more fun,
it's more loved filled, it's and it can save your
life and you can change to that. But before we
go to that, let's just like rewind a slab a second,
and you know, let's just start kind of from square one.
Why do we even have or need spirit guides? Well,
(03:54):
because our school is hard without the other side. Like
that next question, No, you're not getting away that easy.
Well look, you know, um, we did an episode a
little while ago on life free Planning right where the
guides are play such a prominent role of us coming
(04:14):
together and strategically laying out our school plan, like these
are the things you know that you have requested to
sign up for, to have these experiences to expand and
advance your soul. Um. And so they help us to
make sure they're like they're like great, Um, you know
school counselors to go with their school analogy, right that
(04:37):
that sets you down and go, well, you know, instead
of jumping you into level five chemistry, let's start at
you know what a one you know, and and they
just guide you to make your journey and your learning accessible, challenging,
but not overwhelming. And so they do that in the
pre planning stage. But then once we get here and
(04:59):
we forgot the plan, they continually whisper to us, encourage us,
get that inspiration like a little niggling in the back
of your head. You're like, what about this? Yeah, I
don't know, and then you get busy like yeah, I
don't know. In a couple days later, a couple of
years later, depending on what's going on, you're like, oh, yeah,
you know, I really wanted to do that, you know,
and they just keep redirecting you and supporting you, and
(05:21):
it's all out of generous love, never obligation. There's no
judgment because you always get another chance, right, but get
Most souls like to move more quickly. Most personalities don't
like to be pushed. Oh my gosh, I have a
question I've never asked you. Okay, as I listened to you,
(05:43):
this shows everybody again how we are so absolutely not
the type that are scripting we're talking about. I don't
think anyone downs that we're to have an agreement on
the topic anything. But here's my question. So, um, how
do they choose us or we choose their them? Is
(06:05):
there like a um? Like football teams? I can't believe
I just said that, and you know you get like
first crack at the number ones? You know it recruits? Okay, yeah, right?
Like or is it done like that? Is it a
who gets the short story? You know? Straw? I can't
even believe. I can't say or straw? Um, So like,
(06:26):
how is that is it done? You know? It was
it based on your last name? Because it's just put
your soule name in a hat and they pick it out.
That by the way, I would accept that answer. How
does that connection happen? Like, because there's so many of
us on the planet, that's a lot to organize. So
how do you get the ones? So remember that we
(06:47):
you know, we incarnate in groups, in tribes, and so
our spirit guides have been with us, and it could
have been when we were young or many lifetimes ago.
They were incarnating with us. And yet their soul took
very advanced challenges and we're able to experience them and expand.
(07:08):
So they may have moved very quickly and through their
soul lesson and they have the option to embody or not,
and so sometimes they will still choose to embody every
once in a while, but they don't need to. They
can continue to expand on the soul level by serving
as guides. I love it, no, But they have another question, Yeah,
(07:31):
because with the population always growing, especially from countries like
China and India, when you look at just pure numbers
of humans on the planet, Um, how do we get
more spirit guides well? Or do they cover like a
hundred at one time? They can cover more than one
charge exactly, except for your master guide, right. You know,
(07:54):
your master guide was in charge of all the other guides, right,
so they only have one charge, but the other guides
will have other charges as well. And remember the soul
is you know, considered the mother ship, and you can
have a couple incarnations or souls you know, personalities, our
spirits operating off of one soul. Okay, oh I like that.
(08:17):
So now what what type of mcaus When we talked
about guys, and you said, you know, like the master
guide is right, master guide? Did I say that? Right?
Because that's what I know? Um, Like, I have Jacob,
he's my dude, And if that son of a bitch
is not helping other people here in trouble, so I'm mine.
Nobody else can have his ass um Now what other
(08:42):
So can we do? Mind? Can we talk a little
bit about the different guides and that's it actually now
makes more sense about why they can handle more than
one soul because with a lot of you don't need
them all the time. Right, Well, it depends on you know,
and it depends on who you are. Well, it depends
on the life plan you've put together with them. So
some you know, I really needed the one who's in
(09:04):
charge of intellect, right or I need the one who's
in charge of the chemistry or the body doctor. Right is.
So it depends on what you're signing up for that
they'll have sort of an advanced assignment or a little
easier assignment. So you know, is it really is this
co creation of workload and it can change in lifetimes.
(09:25):
Like you're like, Okay, I'm gonna rotate you off because
I'm really going to challenge you know, I want to
get three PhDs in this next lifetime, So I really
need to know of my intellectual support or whatever it is,
you know, or I'm going to have a whole bunch
of kids, I'm gonna need a lot of I'm gonna
be a lot of help from, you know, my playful guides.
So do they have a suggestion box for other people?
(09:47):
Because I had suggestions for I believe where they need
some help, depending and how close you out of that
person invited into that strategy plan beforehand or at least
send a memo, right, Okay, So we have so we
have our master guides. We have like, let's just go
(10:08):
through them because I think it's I'm not sure we've
gone in the to the depth we have to. We
have even to like like the doctors, um and they
we have all Right, then I guess I should probably
we just move on. You're just we will move on
from that. But I still think it's fascinating that we
have all these different guides. And I love the Joy Guide.
(10:29):
That one makes me gig go really hard. Right and then, uh,
and you've worked with I still call yours Dr Bombay
just because I um, but you have you know, a
spirit physician that you consult with as well, and so right, well, yeah,
I guess I don't really know if I've met mine
or not. Really my forte mine is more in the
(10:51):
humor category because I still think that also heals. So
there's that without a doubt. Alright, we take We're gonna
I want to say it first, my guide, want to
say it for your guide. Did all right, We're gonna
take a break. Everybody, aren't everybody? Uh, my joy Guide
(11:15):
is taking a thirty second break. Because my joy Guide
is taking a break. I'm gonna be very serious and
I would so my serious guide is here. I'm sitting
up straight ish, So Brent, I want to I want.
I think it's great for people to understand exactly how
is the class structured, So how do like, what's the
first thing that somebody does, and then how do they
(11:36):
progress through the class in order to develop these relationships
and to know who their spirit guides are. So what's
important for people to know is that they've already worked
with their guides before, long before they get into class. Right.
It may not be conscious, and it could be like
some people are like, oh, yeah, that's right, you know,
I I saw something, I heard something. Um I didn't
(11:59):
I didn't know actually what it was, but I know
there's someone there that sort of thing, and so um,
So we take those little whispers as little like I
think I'm not sure, and we absolutely go ahead and
slow things down and do deep guided meditations in a
very specific way. And people, you know, meditation is recommended
(12:21):
but not required for the class, because I will guide
you through meeting each guide and working with them and
developing that recall and the experience so that when you
leave after this, you know, Monday through Friday class, you'll
be able to recreate that that sacred space for you
to connect with your guides long after you leave the class,
(12:43):
and so I think that's one of the biggest gifts
coming out of class. It's not something that you experience
just in that state and one and done. It's you
take it. It's like, yo, go off the map, right,
you use it every day in your life, Like you've
shared great stories about how you work with your creative
guides and you're working. Oh my gosh, they're amazing and
(13:04):
like and to your point, it is um because once
I started to understand again, I decided to be the
late bloomer again for these fifties, for that one at least,
and then but it all started to make sense. And
I think that's the as a student, that's the most
exciting part I think of the class for me and
to understand is wait, this has been happening to me
(13:26):
the whole time. I just didn't have a name for it.
I didn't know what it was. And it's so important
for people to remember because I'm like, I don't know
if I can do that. I don't even know if
I believe it, And like it's more really more remembering
it is it is, and it's like, you know, it's
I guess the fun part about being a late bloomer
is I can look back at my life with a
(13:48):
very different point of view, a very different filter, um,
and go, oh, my gosh, how that's what was going on?
But it was, my gosh, how is it? Because I
know I've said this and this is a lot of
amazing things I've experienced with my guys, and that's why
I love this topic and could talk about the same
ship over and over again. Apparently I did that the
less break is um. But what I what what I've
(14:12):
loved so much about it is that I have felt
such the most support in my life has kind of
I feel spiritually from guides and I feel fortunate as
a result of that. I've also worked hard for it
as well, and had to get through and get over
some of my own ship in order for that to happen,
of course, But the fact that I can point to
(14:33):
back in my twenties, I can remember and I've said
this type of examples where I will open my mouth,
something will come out in it is not mine. It's mine,
but not mine, right, And it's like, what would that
come from? You know it comes from somewhere, folks. I'm
gonna say, if you are one who disbelieves I will
tell you, I get it, but it comes from some place.
(14:54):
And I'm going to tell you I have more examples
on the things that were not mine and they were genius.
Listen to this. I have a girlfriend who has you know,
college aged sons, and one of them didn't interview this
morning for a summer job, right and so this college
age son comes home and she's like, how to go? Um,
(15:16):
you just don't even believe it? Like the stuff was
coming out of my mouth and it sounded really good,
but they weren't like my words. Now, that is a guide,
and that's what I'm talking about. I laughed so hard.
It was that beautiful that right Tonio kid who has
no idea of the term spirit guides, has no like
(15:39):
no concept of it, like not even curious about it,
which is you know, recommended curiosity is a great start.
But you know, but she's like, these words just came
out and it sounded really good, and you know, I
think the interview went well, but I don't. I have
no idea where that came from. It's so good that too,
But that tells me that somewhere in his preparation, like
(16:01):
literally a twenty four hour preparation between they interviewed him
on a phone call and then had him come in
to fill the stuff out and um and do this interview,
Like he must have put up a pretty big prayer.
That's how I think I'd be good at this. I
think I want this job. And he got help and
that's so much so they wrote his script for him exactly,
which I appreciate this is being written to me. They've
(16:22):
done that many many times. Absolutely, I can't even tell you.
I mean, I've even done readings where I'm like, um,
looks like our time's out, but I have no idea
what I just said. Oh, you definitely have that. Yeah,
I definitely have no clue that you have fun. By
the way, So so the other thing that I've also
has what's been really amazing, and I know I've talked
(16:43):
about this, but I'm gonna go a little further on
it is I've told everybody the story of Jacob and
hearing his voice like it like he was sitting next
to me and you could hear him as clear as
you can hear me. Now you know the whole four
or five situation. The most amazing part of it isn't
the fact that I'm still alive, and didn't have an
accident because I listened to my guide, which you know,
(17:04):
of course Susannsel makes fun of me, is that the
only beings I listened to are non human um, which
they have given me every reason to do that in
humans haven't. But but I think that's been amazing is
sharing stories. And I know we are so fortunate to
have a platform that we can share our stories with
(17:24):
thousands of thousands of people that you know, want to
listen and care and and and I love that. It's
also to get those people to talk about their stories.
And so when I have found myself telling stories about Jacob,
I hear their stories about you know, and I can't
tell you countless. I wish I could count them of
the number of stories. Like you know, I was in
(17:44):
a car accident and I swear to you that somebody
got in between me and the windshield. You know, I
swear blah blah blah blah, and I hear the first
lessons are the first words are I swear because they
think I'm not going to believe them, right, people, if
anybody's going to believe your horsesh it, it's made. But
(18:06):
to get people to talk about it it's so, and
it's so it's such a release for them, it's a
release and they believe deeper. It's affirmation. So those that
have had and then when we get those truth bumps,
you know, oh I love that. You know, it's amazing.
And so those of you that have had these experiences,
(18:27):
if you're comfortable, right, and again nothing's required, but if
you feel up to it, tell people your stories like this,
share with them because you might be surprised and how
you actually are helping and healing other people by telling
your stories. Um, so they could because we all have
this at our access, right, we all have. But that's
(18:48):
and that's why we ask you to share your stories
with us every week, like it's an important part of
the process. We really do. And um, what I love
about spirit Eide class is that it gives you a
system and a process and he puts it. We do
it over and over throughout the week so that it's
in your bones and in yourselves, like it's familiar to you.
(19:12):
You don't have like what how does that happen? Like
you know how to do it to recreate that un
a systemic, sustainable, repeatable process that is now all yours.
So that you can have access this instead of like, oh,
I caught lightning in a bottle once and it's saved
my bacon and it was amazing. You're like, no, you
(19:32):
can actually live like this every day. You're exactly positively right.
And the other part of it is, you know, when
when I think about class is whether it's to row,
whether it's you know, meeting your guides, it can all
seem harder at first, right, like because you're you're you're
(19:53):
you're building a new muscle, and so it can be
a bit it can feel like it's a bit harder.
And then what you've mine after you practice and spend
more time that it's not as hard to have that
access to your guides. In fact, it becomes quite easy.
You know, it's like anything else because you learned to
be a bit of more of a pro and your
(20:14):
vibration is higher on average than it was prior. So
I learned that, like, my vibe is higher on a
regular basis because ongo because of it, you know, And
I think that is also part of the beauty, is
that that helps on only with your communication, but every
other aspect, every other aspect. Right, It's it's so good, right,
such a it's such a gift then like a cheerleader,
(20:36):
I'm a cheerleader for started GUYE classes like GI. But
it and it's so it's a gift that keeps on giving.
That's the whole thing about it all. It is damn it.
I wanted to say it first. Your guide is really fat. Right.
We'll be right back everybody, and welcome back. Thank you
(21:05):
on behalf of our listeners. So um my, sweetelp. You
know after taking this class, you know you've you've shared
obviously the epic tale of Jacob saving your life and
and probably the lives of others. But for you, how
(21:26):
do you think your life might have been different if
you had had this information or access to this sort
of framework and this sort of unconditional love and support.
Can I tell you that that question actually makes me
want to burst into tears because it's how different I
think it would have been. Yeah, like I can just
(21:49):
I mean really like I I it's weird. I wasn't
expecting this. I um, I think it would have been
not so hard. I don't think my life would have
been so hard. It doesn't have to be this hard.
It doesn't have to be this hard. I mean really
like that's why I'm like, I can't believe I'm feeling
so emotional about it. Thank God, my like the camera
(22:11):
isn't as good because I see my like weep be face.
But but but honestly, it's what it feels like. It's like,
I don't think it would have been so hard. I
think that, um, I could have figured things out with
more grace. I think grace is a really important word.
And all of this, I think being more calm. I
think also, you know, because when you're not connected to
(22:33):
the other side like that, you think that moment is
going to last forever. And if you feel like a
bad moment is gonna last forever, like with the motivation,
you know, and then this is constantly hurt ourselves. I
think I would have hurt myself a lot less if
I would have known. It's probably the best answers. I
think I would have hurt myself less. Yeah, and you know,
(22:54):
in some ways, it's why we decided to do the
podcast rank very much so, because it doesn't have to
be this hard and people need to know now it
doesn't and it's and speaking of that, it's like, gosh,
I'm just I'm sorry I had to have a big
sigh on this one because that question was way bigger
(23:14):
than I had anticipated being and so emotional that you know,
how can we individually in our own ways help the
younger generations with this? You know, how can we have
those conversations, What can we do to give to um
to those that want to receive to just storytelling? It
(23:35):
start with that, you know much less classes, but you
know it can very much change the path of someone.
So I think my life would have been different, not
totally different, because it's still my life and still my
plans and all the things that I had established and
wanted to do. I just don't think it would have
been so damn messy, yeah, or stressful, more stressful, or
(23:56):
there's an that's just like, okay, I can asked for help,
you know, from this specific guide and I can. I
can access it, and it's you don't have to feel
like you're in it alone, and it's it's interesting. And
I think one of the reasons for the emotional part
that I wish I would have had at the time
was and I didn't know you at this time when
when mom had Alzheimer's, and I have a very one
(24:19):
of my closest friends believe they're dealing with their mom
that is beginning to show signs of dementia. And the
conversation that I had yesterday, literally yesterday, So of course
you asked this ship. I'm sorry. We talked about it
last night, you know, when we're all like playing around
in the astral astro. Anyway, um so, I still try
(24:42):
to be funny. And I remember what I said to
my friend. I said, I am going to tell you
what the one thing I wish that I knew at
the time. And my friend was like, well, what is that?
And I said, it doesn't have to be this hard.
It doesn't have to be We can get through things
with far more grace and with more help. And I
(25:04):
and if I would have known to take care of
myself during that time, my guide would have helped me
take care of myself. Because I spent a decade not
taking care of myself. I was blowing shut up myself
and others because I was so we were much pain,
so much, so much pain, and um so, that I
(25:25):
think is how my life would have been drastically different.
I'm sure your guides are saying, way to go, brand,
that's what we wanted her to say, my GUIDs always
say that about you. We set her up. I think consistently.
One of the experiences the students say when they leave
Spirit Eute class is just how grateful they are to
(25:49):
have a tangible experience of the degree of love and
support that's available to them. They can never not know that,
they can't unsee that they because they have had that,
have had that experience and the wisdom and the grace
that's they're just to support them, and it's it's a
(26:12):
game changing experience and perspective. Oh, it's very game changing.
I've had people questioned me about my experience with Jacob
and I'm like, listen, you can tell me all days
is purple. I'm like, that's all cool and ship. You're
going to tell me that that wasn't real. I'm going
to say, bullshit. It was the most real thing that
I have experienced. It was that real. But let me
(26:32):
tell you how you feel. Let me tell you I
didn't you love that? It's like, oh my god. And
the truth is when when people say things like that
after you've had this connection in this deep understanding, and
it doesn't none of that matters because you're like okay,
because it's not for them. It never was. It never was.
(26:53):
So you're like, okay, you know, it doesn't, it doesn't
cost you any consternation. It doesn't. It's funny because I've
I've because people have, especially where we're living now. You know,
Arkansas's is super like super Christian type of um you know,
very conservative, very Christian in their belief system. And like
one of the first questions I was asked i moved
(27:14):
here was what's church do you go to? I tried
everything to not burst out laughing. I'm like, hey, you
don't know why you're asking me that. It's like asking
me what my political you know, preferences are. It's like,
I can't believe you're doing this right. It's like a
kind of a funny thing. Um, I totally fucking forgot
what I was saying, but it was. But being in
this really conservative place and and with all the disbelief
(27:36):
I think and all of this has been a really
interesting where I've had people say to me, well, are
you trying to like have a call? Are you cold?
Kind of thing? I'm like, oh no, And I'm so
opposite a cult. It's like it is all your choice.
It is all on you. Nothing of this is required.
I am not looking to be a cult leader, although
I think i'd be a good one, I'm not looking
for it. And and we are not playing the same
(27:59):
I've yes, I've written a book, but I'm not going
to call it the book. And it's like, this is
not what this is about books, like you can choose
it or not choose it. I could give two ships.
It's all on you. This, this is this is you
do you? You know? Yeah? And so anyhow, those are
the two things, like just knowing the love and support
(28:20):
and then having access. I'm gonna give you ninety percent
answer that I'm going to come to your class in
California for real. That I've given and that is almost
as good as a hundred lifetime points off for those
that are looking for math M. But you got n
So I want to challenge other people who are able
to because it's not the and the classes at Eslin.
(28:41):
