Speaker 1 (00:00):
From the city that changes the world. Peers rose with
three things you need.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
To know your Thursday roads you got for us.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
So, the two astronauts that have been stuck in space
since June will be coming home soon.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
But there was a little snag, so a bit.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Butch Wilmore and Sunny Williams have been aboard the International
Space Station for nine months and they've been waiting return
because their original space craft has tech tech issues. So
a SpaceX Crew ten mission intended to bring them home
home was set to launch yesterday afternoon, but that launch
was scrub There was I guess issues with the hydraulics

(00:39):
and the launch platform. But they're going to try again
as early as tonight, so hopefully, like I said, they
will be home sooner rather than later, because nine.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Once is entirely too long. They were only supposed to
be there for like a couple of days a week.
Imagine like they keeping their hopes up.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah, and like think of like if you had any
plans at all after that, Like there were.

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Weddings until I would say, you missed your kid's wedding
or something.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yeah, or like what if they had like a grand
kid on the way, Like there's you know, there's so
many family moments that they could have potentially missed out on,
and not just really fun, but also.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
That for nine months they've been watched twenty four hours
a day. Yeah, think about there's no privacy up there.
What's not here about that?

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Concerned that I missed out on nine months that I
was supposed to be here my life?

Speaker 5 (01:25):
Yeah, you can't we talk trash because like talking trash,
absolutely trash.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Are you kidding? You got me stuck up here?

Speaker 3 (01:32):
You're going to hear me talk trash about you? They
deserve a documentary and all of the books, all of
the thing. So, the National Transportation Safety Board recommended that
a helicopter route along the Potomac River used by military
and government aircraft be partially shut down, especially after the
January twenty ninth mid air collision that.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Killed sixty seven people.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
So NTSB chair said during a news briefing that the
board recommends the FAA permanently prohibit operations on helicopter Route
four when there are two runways at Reagan that are
in use.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
So they are recommending.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
That the FAA designate an alternate route when that is closed.
And March's full blood worm Moon is going to appear
tonight thanks to a phenomenon that takes that makes the
moon look red during a total lunar eclipse.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
So the lunar eclipse will last for more than an.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Hour, so you should be able to see it regardless
of if there's like clouds in the sky.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
There should be gaps at some point.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
So the eclipse is viewable anywhere in the Western hemisphere.
It's going to start just after one, but totality is
happening between two thirty and three thirty.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
And it's gonna look red, which is so cool. So
Cetra colock so you can see that.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
This is one of two total lunar eclipses this year,
but the only one that's visible from North America, and
the next one we'll be able to see is in
March of twenty twenty six, So I'm gonna.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Be able to see on your way to work.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yeah, it would be cool.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Hopefully not when you're driving. I'm ros. Those are the
three you to know for the day.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome driving like golf? Thank you?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
What like golf?

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Drive sauce. Your newest hobby is what jump roping? Have
we started it?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Yeah? But it was my knee.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
I have not been doing it.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
You got two jump ropes when they come in.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
A few days ago.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
Okay, yeah, got good news. If you're not a morning person.
According to science, try jumping a hundred times in the morning.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Oh sick.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
You gotta saying up and down.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
So this is kind of went viral on TikTok, but
there's been psychotherapists and personal trainers saying it's not that
different from waking up with the morning routine that has
exercise has a boost your blood flow, but then boosts doorphins.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I think they kind of like hype for the day.
It's like when athletes are jumping up and down. Yes,
fair kind we were doing your day.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Well, it's good, this door's day.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I tried. That's early. That's that that that's how I
spray my ankles.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
I'm going to wait someone up in the house like
they're gonna be like, what what what is this noise?

Speaker 1 (03:59):
I can't. I can't do that. Also, I don't want to.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
So the therapy or the trainer says, increased flew, full
releases and doorphins, this is feel good chemical. One hundred
jump should also have shake up morning grogginess, which improves alertness.
So will you be our test subject Sauce and do
some jumpy ropes tomorrow and then let us know how
I feel.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
I think my downstairs neighbors would be like to be
like what was going on there?

Speaker 3 (04:23):
John, You are the only person that I feel like
you could get away with you. It is because you
live in your own house with nobody else around. Like Skittles,
you don't wake up Skittles. But honestly, he would probably
jump with you. So you have you're not gonna wake
up neighbors. Yeah, I'll do it, and it is fine.
I'll take that burden non for everybody. Okay, So tomorrow
when I'm bubbly af is because I jumped if I'm not.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Because I know. I hope it works for you.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Thanks so much. I love this journey for me.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
