From the city that changes the world, peers Rose with
three things you need.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
To know for your Thursday Rose, which you got for us.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
So, a former budget analyst is pleading guilty to stealing
money from the US State Department.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
I don't know how. You don't think you wouldn't get
caught with this.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
But the sixty four year old pleading guilty to a
mezzling more than six hundred and fifty thousand dollars from
the agency between twenty twenty two and twenty twenty four.
So the US Attorney's Office said that this person would
use her signature authority to issue more than sixty checks
that were deposited into her personal account. Again, there is

(00:39):
a trail, like there is a paper trail.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
You're going to get caught. I don't understand.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
So she's facing up to ten years in prison when
she's sentenced in September. So I know we've been talking
about real i D all week long because the deadline
is next week. Obviously, we know you need it for
domestic travel. However, Arlington National Cemetery is also going to
be requiring it. So the facility announced yesterday that adults
who drive into the cemetery will be required to present

(01:07):
their real ID at the security checkpoint. Now, if you
are walking, taking the metro, or getting dropped off at
the cemetery, you will not have to present a real ID.
But if you are driving, that's when you need it
at that point, and that policy begins on May seventh,
which is when that deadline is. So May seventh, you just.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Just get it done.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
If you haven't, I'm curious if anybody listening hasn't gotten
their real idea yet.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
I'm gonna assume Eric, that seems up a sally that
you take it as said, like, look this Prince picture
himself online goes it's me, it's real. Yeah, it's my ID.
I don't know what you need.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
And the Capitals, we obviously talked about this. They eliminated
the Montreal Canadians when they four to one win in
Game five of the Eastern Conference first round last night.
So the Capitals, who had they I didn't realize they
had lost five straight playoff series since winning the Stanley
Cup in twenty eighteen.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Erect on the first round.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah yeah, So they advanced to face the Carolina Hurricanes
in the second round. That schedule has not been announced yet,
but I will keep an eye on it for you.
I'm Rose. Those are the three things you need to
know for today.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Thank you, Rose. You're welcome.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Catching cheeters with War of the Roses just after eight
o'clock today. I'm excited to talk to her. Just going
over her email, I guess an only fans girl reached
out and was like, Hey, your man's been sending me
some things he probably shouldn't be sending me, which is.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Like more than does massa. Yeah, so girls helping girls.

Speaker 3 (02:34):

wanted to do some things for dogs and four people.
So we did the dog adoption event last weekend. This

(03:17):
is gonna be really cool. So Warrior Knon Connection they
raise puppies to be service dogs for veterans, which is
very cool. I actually had a bunch of folks to
reach out who've gotten service dogs from the Warrior Knon
Connection and this is like how amazing it is. And
the crazy thing is like how long the wait is?
Like sometimes the wait's like two or three years, which
is like crazy crazy because it does take a lot

(03:41):
to train a puppy to be a service dogs. So
that's why it's it's important for doing this. So if
you want to go to the shows, there's only three
shows and then there's not gonna be any more dates.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
There's not gonna be in more venues.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
It's like, once these three are sold out, that's that's
it for this Internshion Comedy dot com take a start

you did say he was like, you know, because my
dad love him. He can be very funny, but he
always is very funny. Usually at some point during my
dad when he does comedy, he'll get a USA chant

(04:25):
going and I'll bring up effect he's a Vietnam veteran.
He'll get a standing ovation. My dad will always go like,
you know, son, last time got a standing ovation, Yes
he did. Did you get standing ovation? I'm like, well, Dad,
when you do the USA chan't and you bring up
the veteran thing, those are two pretty good yeez.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Deserve the standing ovations.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Yeah, I mean for sure based on the comedy merit,
not on the you know, for a country merit. So uh,
he'll be determined. We'll see how this trip goes with
that next weekend and then we'll see if we're still
friends and then make.

Him audition while you guys are on the trip, like
show me, show me.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
And also I'm planning on like this writing down I'm
get so much material from that trip that is gonna
be the absolute best. Because my dad is the dad
who doesn't quite get technology. And we were on a
flight once and he had headphones on. He's the dad
that doesn't realize when your headphones are loud, sometimes you
automatically talk louder even though anybody else has it.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
On, because like, why can't I hear myself?

Speaker 2 (05:23):
So he dropped like his iPod. That's how long ago was,
and he was.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Like a bitch, and the whole plane. I'm like, Dad,
He goes like what, I'm like, the whole plane can
hear you? Ha, the whole plane can hear you? Oh,
so he's gonna be louder. He can't hear you. John
and the two bros taking over Lounsons. You can possibly
