Colorado who was busted escaping jail last Thursday night. Now
that in hisself is necessary the story. The thing is
he was only on the lose for thirty five minutes. Okay,
sure there's that. But the biggest kind of kicker was
he was supposed to be released two days later.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I like, did he know that he was supposed to
be released in two days or was it like a surprise.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
So that's the kind of thing. It gets a little
bit hankers. He was working as a kitchen trustee, was
clean up for the night. He went out to take
out the trash and decided, well, I'm just gonna run off.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
You know what, I can't stay in here for two
more minute.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Now I gotta go two days. Wanna get nice running?
He was previously. Cox gave him back in twenty seventeen,
so he shouldn't have had to qualify to be a trustee.
I guess to begin with, not quit, you should.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I get that, like, especially for the kitchen where the
knives usually.

Speaker 1 (01:10):

I wonder if he was like anxious about rejoining the
real world and was like, no, I'd rather stay.

A prison like maybe his his missus is mad at him.

I got a job here, I got friends here. I'd
rather stay. I guess he was serving a ninety days sentence.
There is no word how much extra time is being
tacked on due to the escape attempt.
