Speaker 4 (01:02):
How was your last twenty four hours?
Speaker 5 (01:03):
It was really good.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I think I.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Met one of the most interesting men in the world yesterday.
So I decided to skip the gym. My schedule didn't
line up exactly how I thought it would.
Speaker 6 (01:16):
For the day.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
So instead I went to the driving range just to
hit some balls, and the guy at the counter. I
have been to this driving range a couple times. He
kind of has RBF like I'm a little intimidated by him,
but he's always been very nice to me. So I
usually just go and get my balls, go to the
driver range.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:34):
Yesterday, it was in the middle of the day, so
there was nobody there and we started talking. He was like, oh,
you have such a great smile. Reminds me of my fiance.
Blah blah blah. Anyways, so after I was done, I
started talking to him and I was like, what is
your name? And he kind of laughed and he's like, well,
I have a few. Some people call me the one
and I was like, I don't know what that means.
(01:54):
Turns out this man has lived a very colorful life.
He told me he was a gang in the seventies
in Chicago. He said he's a guitar player and he
like met Ella, Fitzgerald and Prince and like all of
these people. Showed me pictures. He sews as well, like
(02:15):
he was a tailor. He says he made like he
makes like full suits and I'm like, this is I
was like everything he told me, I was like, holy mol,
like what and like what and he's like he's like,
guess how old I am. I was like I would
say like fifty five. He's like, no, I'm in my seventies.
And I was like wow.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
So he's just done so much with his.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
Life and now he's like, I'm assuming retired, but like
wanting to work a little bit. So he's like working
at the driving range and I was like, this is
the most fascinating man.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
I can't remember exactly who he said.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
I feel like he said it was George Clinton that
he played guitar for previously, and I was like, that
is the cool like the coolest. I sat and talked
to him for like twenty minutes. I was like, this
guy is so fascinating and I was like, my life
seems so boring now after I know he's had a
(03:06):
lot more time. But I next time I go in,
I'm gonna have to like see the actual like get
the actual artist name, because I I'm not entirely positive
if he said George Clinton, but I'm going to.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
Be like, hey, do you have videos of this? I
want to see it.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
That's pretty badass.
Speaker 7 (03:21):
I know.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
I was like, that is the coolest.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
He's like, yeah, I'm at Prince backstage one time, like
they were.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
I was like, well, I was like that's the coolest.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, that's pretty bad ass.
Speaker 5 (03:30):
So yeah, that was my day. And I was just like, unbelievable.
That's an unbelievable life. Sir, Yeah, that's okay. Well hearts
of that.
Speaker 8 (03:38):
I know.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
I was like, okay, yeah, I had I can about
of anxiety yesterday. So next week I'm going to England
with my dad. Very excited for it. The trip itself
has kind of been rocky the last week because the
idea was we're gonna go see Manchester United play soccer
next Saturday, very exciting. Last week I ran got an
(04:00):
email saying, hey, we've moved the game to Sunday, which
is minor problem because the whole trip was kind of
booked around that. And now thank god I have a
travel agent. I've been doing that and that to me
is like the easiest way to travel legitimately because they
don't charge you and they just find all the deals
for you, like they just kind of book everything. So
I had told her like, here's I want to go
here's budget, YadA YadA. So she's been fixing everything behind
(04:21):
the scenes. All good and well. I logged in to
see our tickets for the airfare today or last night
because I had to add our passports and that stuff, and like,
I booked the reservations for the flights, so it's both
my dad and me under the same reservation. And the
first thought was like, oh, this could be a problem.
My dad is flying from Nashville to Dulles the day
(04:43):
we fly to England, and I think he lands at
like two, but he's gonna wait at the airport until
the fights, like ten pm whatever. My dad and I
have the same name, which same first name, same middle name,
same last name. He though is senior, and my thought
went to, what but if when I get to the
airport eight hours after my dad he checked in under
(05:06):
me and there's no way to go back, and hoping
they haven't explained that to the airport people. Because the
other problem is, like my dad not the most tech savvy.
He once called me to ask my phone number. That's
true story, So like, well, my dad now had to
add just his boarding pass to his phone. I'm gonna
go ahead and say probably not.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
Well, even if he adds his boarding pass to your phone,
you can still I'm pretty sure, like go up.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
To the counter and be like, hey, I need my
boarding pass.
Speaker 4 (05:32):
I hope.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
So just because Nate Bargadsy has a joke about that,
how his his real name is Nathan, but his ID
says Nathaniel and how like that's always paying the ass
of the airport.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Uh, try having the exact same name. So that first.
Speaker 5 (05:44):
Thought, your your license say junior on it.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
No, it just says yep.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
First same last name, yep.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
That is interesting that I wouldn't say junior or the
second yeah, yeah, does your birth certificate?
Speaker 4 (05:56):
I have no idea, I've never seen it.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
What do you mean you've birth certificated?
Speaker 2 (06:01):
No idea, Maybe my passport does. I'm not positive off
the top of the dome. So there is that. But
also so I'm excited for the ship because I being
a radio nerd, I'm gonna go to there's like a
radio station in England that's kind of like the US,
but for the whole country. So I reached out to
our good friend Dennis, who is kind of like our
coach and base gar therapist, and I was like, hey,
(06:23):
it'd be great to go and see the station. So
I'm doing that. But then there's like a European version
of Dennis who wants to get.
Speaker 4 (06:29):
Lunch, and so I very cool.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
I was talking to my good friend Eric from this show,
who also be in Europe the exact same time. So literally,
Ken mans hey Eric, So next Friday, I'm gonna do
like I'm gonna meet the Dennis of England. Do you
want to get lunch with us? And he goes, let
me check. He opens up his calendar and goes, I
think I should be available. I'm like, Eric, you're gonna
(06:52):
be in England with me? You have no plans? He goes,
oh yeah, oh forgot about that?
Speaker 9 (06:59):
Have like he would have some play this man, is
I already telled this is what Eric's gonna do in England.
He's gonna face him almost friends back here, look at this.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
Look what's wrong with that? Maybe some people have never
been and maybe they want to see some and they
want to see different architecture.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
That's fine, that's fine with me. You could call me.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
I'll call you Rose. There we go from from from wherever.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
I'm just like make sure the tie with the time
change that you're not waking.
Speaker 6 (07:25):
Actually, that same thing happened to me the day I
was looking on my who count. I was like, wait,
do I come back seven am? It is seven am
this time. I come back noon that time. So I
was freaking out. I'm my return flight because I'm like John,
I'm also going to the soccer match.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
It's Sunday. It's called football Eric.
Speaker 10 (07:41):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
This is American over around guy all right.
Speaker 6 (07:44):
Anyways, and so I'm wondering do I stay for the
whole match or do I come back because I thought
I was leaving earlier in the morning.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
But we'll see what happens. The game is at like
two pm, right, But it's a four hour train ride
from Manchester back to London. No four hour Poppy, mine's too.
I think, how is yours different? I probably got the
faster trains.
Speaker 9 (08:04):
Don't have one train really, the Esla and regular am
tra I don't think they have that.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
I tell you full a train is in Japan, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
We're not going to Japan? But right, that's close. It's
a walk a slight like a way. You know, are
we going to see each other?
Speaker 11 (08:19):
You think?
Speaker 6 (08:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
It's about three hours according to Google.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
The train right, and then you got to go from
the other train, and then you gotta walk. That's four okay.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
Oh he's just adding an extra time where John, you
are underestimating.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
You're like, no, we're going to go fast.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
The fact this man pulled out his calendar as if
he has things laid out.
Speaker 6 (08:37):
I forgot that next we leave on Wednesday? Right, next Wednesday?
Speaker 4 (08:41):
I think, Yeah, but don't worry. Show still a live baby.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
You say we leave next, I don't leave.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
You're leaving together.
Speaker 6 (08:48):
I leave first at ten fifteen and you leave what
at ten thirty pm?
Speaker 11 (08:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (08:53):
M yeah, but two different airlines right? American? Yeah? United?
So there you go. Look at that.
Speaker 3 (08:58):
We're just so together but separate exactly.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
May will wave at each other in the sky. Yeah,
I fight. Wow, I'm pretty exciting.
Speaker 12 (09:04):
Never know.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
Yeah, you guys gonna drive to the airport together?
Speaker 2 (09:09):
No, probably not because that's not because because Eric is
weird about everything, So we probably won't drive to the
airport together.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Yes, yes, together? Well, yes, John, you need.
Speaker 9 (09:19):
To expect this because if Eric's flight is fifteen minutes
before yours, he needs to be your valet and say
welcome to London.
Speaker 4 (09:28):
For me, John and Dad. How happy he.
Speaker 5 (09:32):
Did not do that for you when you first moved
to d C. He's going to do it in another country.
Speaker 4 (09:40):
That's true. We could be in two different terminals because
you've been in London before. He there's a massive airport.
How do you know? I've heard stories You're not gonna
land a Gatlick.
Speaker 6 (09:49):
No he airports buddy, right, but we're all laying a Heathrow,
you know, yes.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
I'm sure I have no idea. All right, So anyway, following.
Speaker 3 (10:00):
I saw understanding why you guys want to drive together.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
But because that's just like Eric, Eric's littus test for things.
He'll die in the hell for it makes no sense. Ever,
it never quite adds up. But that's that's your boy.
And once he gets in his head, if Eric thinks
the sky is polka dots, it's poka dots.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
I mean, technically with the clouds it could considered there
it is.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
So there you go. We'll see what happens next week.
Nine ninety three three eight to text. Rose has the
three things you need to know. Comment what you got.
Speaker 5 (10:28):
We're talking about a guy who won the lottery because.
Speaker 4 (10:30):
Of a dream. Get to it in just over a
two minutes.
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Setting turned Johnny Morning Show First Bracy, I had posted
this on Instagram last night. I wanted to bring it
up now in case he didn't see. I'm doing a
weekend of comedy shows stand up shows June twentieth. June
twenty first, the Arlington Draft House in Arlington has a
very special reason. The shows are called Chewy Forever. So
(10:52):
my dog Chewy passed on New Year's uh, fifteen years old.
He was just shive of his sixteenth birthday and has
been difficult. Yeah, it's been the absolute worst. However, he
made impact on a lot of people's lives and I
wanted to do something to keep his memory alive but
also help other people. So we're doing these shows to
(11:13):
benefit the Warrior Canine Connection. If you don't know who
they are, they are a fantastic group based in Darn
Sound and what they do is they train puppies to
be service dogs for veterans. It is and it's one
of those things where you don't quite think of where
service dogs come from.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
You just kind of know like they're.
Speaker 11 (11:36):
There.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
They are, and so what Warrior Canine Connection does is
they train these puppies from birth basically and for the
specific veterans' needs. So if that veteran maybe sadly lost
their right hand or something like that, the puppy is
trained for that veteran, so they'll bring things to their
left hand. They'll be trained to walk on the left side,
(11:56):
which is really cool. So the goal of the shows
is certainly to raise awareness for Warrior K nine connection
and also funds as well. And I think you know
Chewy again touched a lot lives. This is a great
way to do that. So the shows June twentieth and
June twenty first. I'm only doing three shows just because
(12:17):
it's gonna be an emotionally trying weekend for sure, but
I know we'll do some good of it. So tickets
start at fifteen bucks Internsoncomedy dot com. Once it sells out,
that's kind of the end of it. So Internsjoncomedy dot com.
June twentieth, June twenty first, Arlington Draft House for an amazing,
amazing cause, Chewy forever, We'll see you there.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
Let me do this from the City that Changes the world.
Speaker 5 (12:43):
Piers Rose with three things you need.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
To know for your Wednesday. Rose Jieff ros.
Speaker 5 (12:48):
So prompt season is upon us, and Uber is stepping
up to make the big night a little less stressful
for teens in their parents. So Uber is offering two
free rides up to twenty dollars each for teens age
thirteen to seventeen who sign up for a new uberteen account,
which is pretty awesome. So you can book your ride
up to ninety days in advance, so if you don't
need it right away. Very cool. They're also offering twenty
(13:11):
dollars off in Uber Eats order. Can you imagine at
the end of prom having twenty.
Speaker 3 (13:16):
Bucks to like order whatever that you want. That's so cool.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
So with uberteen accounts, guardians can add their kids to
their family profile to access safety features like live trip tracking,
real time notifications, ride check, and pen verification. Now, this
is a limited time offer. It runs through May thirty first,
or until all redemptions are used up. But I wanted
to let you know because I know a lot of
prom a lot of proms happening. So DC's Attorney General
(13:41):
is doing five drivers, one Maryland driver and four from
Virginia accused of owing more than a combined four hundred
and twenty two thousand dollars an unpaid take it.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
This is wild. So one driver.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
Alone owes more than one hundred and eighty thousand dollars.
So these five drivers have a combined like more than
a eleven hundred citations for speeding, red light violations, and
running stop signs.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Just to give you an example, the.
Speaker 5 (14:06):
Maryland driver over a span of two years, racked up
three hundred and forty four traffic citation That is almost
one a day, my god, which is crazy. Three hundred
and sixteen of them were for speeding. In sixty one
of those were for driving thirty or more miles over
the speed limit, which is qualified as aggravated reckless driving.
(14:28):
So I'm like, good, go after them at this point
because they're obviously not paying attention to the law and
they're not paying their tickets.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
That's on you, bro.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
And a Gaithersburg man won a fifty thousand dollars Pick
five Top Frought prize using numbers he signed a dream
this is so cool. So he told lottery officials that
he has had three super vivid dreams in his life
and they all came true.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
So he knew that this was going to happen for him.
Speaker 5 (14:56):
So the dream that led to lottery win was about
five numbers, five specific numbers, and money, so he assumed
obviously that was pointed to the lottery.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
He went and picked his five numbers.
Speaker 5 (15:06):
And that evening the pick five drawing produced those numbers
in the exact order. That's cool, crazy, it's cool. So
if you have a dream but lottery, maybe you should
go play.
Speaker 3 (15:17):
I'm Rose. Those are the three things g to know
for today.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Airbnb put out their their travel report for the hottest
trends for the summer.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
I want to go through this real quick. Not that surprising.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
They're saying, because of well costs to folks are kind
of swapping out the popular like capital cities more forible destinations.
So I think like Fort Lawerdale and said Miami, Yeah,
kind of like that, kind of.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
Like a clough so that you could potentially drive to.
Speaker 2 (15:44):
Yeah, I mean with that too, like for Larerdale, flights
tend to be like hundreds of dollars cheaper than Miami.
You're you're in the same basic area. So uh, they're saying.
Fandom travel is surging thanks to star Chasers are travelers
who follow their favorite artists and athletes by going to
shows and sporting events, often traveling really far be part
(16:05):
of the action. So like you would go see Beyonce
in Houston instead of seeing her X Yeah, I know stadium.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
I know a bunch of people that went to see
Taylor Swift when she was on her European tour.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
That makes sense, which is like very cool.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
I mean I guess like I'm kind of doing this
in a way, like the the main reason I'm going
to England next week is to see Manchester Nighted play soccer,
just because it's like a kind of like a once
in a lifetime thing item. Yeah, in like the mainly
the stadium is one of the oldest soccer stadiums and
they're tearing it down, so like it's kind of like
a cool thing. And I'm also we're going to Italy
so I can see where they film Star Wars.
Speaker 3 (16:40):
Yeah, let's be honest. Let's be honest. Is that the
main reason?
Speaker 2 (16:44):
That was the main thought, and that's why my Star Wars.
My dad's like England and Italy. He's like, come like, yeah,
but you know I'm going to Italy for Star Wars.
He goes, Okay, I'm like that's not a thing, but
just so we know we're going to uh for.
Speaker 3 (16:57):
You with Star Wars. For him, it's the culture.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
Maybe for me it's Naboo. For him it's Italy, you know,
I mean uh.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
They say a third of Americans polled expect to travel
more for big sporting events in your head, and they
had previously.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
Yeah, I guess again kind of follows from me.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Sure, concerts are the second biggest draw for travelers, saying
the travel for a concert. I traveled to see Eminem
and Rihanna in New York a couple of years back.
That was really cool. I guess that's the only show
you ever traveled for a concert.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
Roads, I mean, not not out of state like nothing,
although I would for certain people.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Yeah, I suppose if it's one of those like they're
only doing like Beyonce, I think it's only doing like
ten cities, So I guess if you're a big Beyonce fan,
that kind of makes sense. I guess for the Eminem
Rihanna show, they only did three cities, so it's kind
of like chose.
Speaker 5 (17:43):
There's certain artists that like you would have to travel for.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Sure, they say, so concerts and the second biggest draw
twenty three percent, saying the travel for concerts. Some of
the top tours people are booking for Beyonce's Cowboy Car
Tour the Oasis Tour, which I they if they aren't
filming the behind the scenes that thing too, because if
that thing blows up, that's gonna be must watch.
Speaker 9 (18:06):
Television to be a documentary, and even if it happens,
that's gonna be much watched television. So and then the
Shakira to are also, Oh yeah, that would one. I
am uh, they say.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Spontaneous staycations are also popular with US travelers. Many are
planning getaways within three hundred miles of home. Yeah, I
guess I wouldn't consider that a staycation though it's three
hundred miles distance.
Speaker 4 (18:26):
Baby.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
You also have to remember, like if some states are
bigger than others, so if you're staying in the state,
I would still think that's kind of like a staycation.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah, I guess that kind of makes sense. I mean,
I like, I don't mind that even just because it
feels like like a staycation at home can be good.
Speaker 9 (18:41):
But it's hard to be like, well, I shouldn't be
doing nothing. I could be doing laundry, or could be
doing bills at least, like getting out of the house
and staying at the hotel down the streets like yeah,
foreign land, set the a post, oh at the water
Oh yeah, absolutely anywhere you can go.

So get ready to see Charlie XCX in more movies
and shows, because she just announced she'll be starring in
producing a new movie from Japanese director ta Kashi mikay.
Speaker 4 (20:18):
The movie is the second movie she'll.
Speaker 9 (20:20):
Be producing through a company, Studio three six five, along
with a twenty fours the moment, there's no details on
the movie just yet, but McKay does do a lot
of horror and thriller movies, so she'll be interested to
see Charlie in that type of role. This isn't the
first thing Charlie's been involved. She's just this year is
supposed to be in three movies and she's going to
be in a series called Overcompensating that comes out in
(20:42):
two weeks. That show it's on Prime video. The trailer
for it just came out, so it was like perfect
timing that this news happened to It gives off twenty
one Jump Street vibes. So but obviously it's twenty twenty five,
so it's ten years later in a little modernized college
of a show. That's on May fifteenth, and then no
word on the movie, but most likely you'll probably.
Speaker 4 (21:01):
Be ended twenty twenty six movie. Nope.
Speaker 9 (21:04):
Speaking of twenty twenty five, Netflix is actually going all
out for its two dumb fan events. I know in
the years past it's mainly just been like, here's our
trailers and that's all you really care about. But they're
actually doing a sort of like a mini comic com
They're gonna have the actors and everybody come out and
present things on stage. The big things for Todum this
year on May thirty first, at eight pm Eastern Time
(21:26):
will be we'll hopefully get news and trailers on Emily
and Paris, Happy Gilmore two, One Piece Wednesday, The Avatar
Last airb Inner Show, and most importantly, you might get
the trailer for Stranger Things final season.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Dude, ever now igot about that?
Speaker 2 (21:43):
I got be so because they'll post like on the
Stranger Things Instagram and they'll think, oh, it's for the show.
Speaker 9 (21:48):
It's for like the Broadway. Apply its yeah, we gotta go,
I mean yeah, okay, so hopefully that will happen. I
mean timing's right. David Harbor is in the Thunderbolts movie,
so that will kind of be donef it's press tour,
and so hopefully they can ramp up the trainer things
press tour with such a dumb event. And then yesterday,
in case you missed it, the new trailer for the
(22:11):
Now You See Me franchise the Magic Heist movies called
Now You See Me Now You Don't came out. And
the funny thing was, if you paid attention to the trailer,
there was a hidden phone number in the trailer. If
you texted that number, check your Venmo account, because everyone
who did got one hundred and nineteen dollars in their
Venmo account. Really yeah, damn yeah. So definitely that's when
(22:34):
you see trailers, watch them. You never know what's gonna happen.
It makes sense. It's kind of as in line with
the movie of just like randomly putting money in people's pockets.
It's been nine years since Now You See Me Too
came out. The next one comes up or the new
one comes out November fourteenth, twenty twenty five, So if
you see any new trailers from now till November, just
pay attention, might get more free money.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Tonight you can watch and or season two.
Speaker 9 (22:58):
The next three episodes are out now the really dense episode,
so if you need something to last you for the
rest of the week, you can watch those. Another simple
favorite comes out tomorrow on Prime Video, The Blake, Lively
and Kendrick movie. I'm mainly mentioning this because it might
be worth rewatching the first one because it came out
in twenty eighteen. It's on Netflix, not on Prime Video weirdly,
just how how streaming works. But check it out in
(23:20):
case you forgot what the movie is and then sorry.
The Capitals Versus the Canadians Game five's tonight, cap one
in person. It's on ESPN. If you can't go. If
we win this game, we move on a round two.
Can't waits, hud, I need something to listen to. New
Thoughts Shower podcast is out. Are you doing things? Just
for the surface level? You can listen ymssradio dot com.
(23:41):
I thought this was hilarious.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Actually, I'd say hard one second because you're kind of
involved with this. Recording to New Paul, thirty eight percent
of Americans hate it when somebody asked them to help move. Wow,
I'm not talking about it because she's not here. Our
good friend Shelby Sauce who we love, Princess Pasdina, she
had Eric, myself and Hoodie move her. I guess that'ver
(24:05):
been over a year ago, right, because that was just
years ago now. She signed new lease. Yeah, and we
agreed to help because moving is expensive. She moved from
Atlanta to hear.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
But you guys are so nice.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
And also we are told that she had movers coming,
so we're just gonna help kind of like get a
couple of things. By the way, movers didn't show up,
So it's me Hoodie. No, not at all in her building,
which I still I'll complain about this forever. It's newer building.
The loading dock nowhere near the elevator. Yes, made no sense.
So thirty eight percent people say they secretly hate being
(24:36):
asked to help a friend or family member move. Not secretly,
don't be.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
Nobody wants to be asked to help.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
No, I'd rather give you money then I do that.
Like that's a pain in the ass.
Speaker 9 (24:48):
It is funny too because when she said she renewed
her Lisa, yes, we're good for another year.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
Thank god.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Yeah, so they say if you need help, people say
the top three things you can do to sweeten the
deal is buy food and drinks and bias lunch, sure,
pay for help, and promising to return the favor when
the time comes.
Speaker 12 (25:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (25:08):
I do think like if you ask somebody to move
like that, is that you owe them a free move.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
Too, But like I feel like that's on top.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Of all by them lunch, they say the tom Bras
and people don't high professionals. It's expensive, okay, they don't
feel even need professionals, and they in seventeen percent say
they don't trust strangers with their stuff. Although Saucy's JK
moving and they were like, oh you did too.
Speaker 9 (25:31):
I did to it, and like they handled everything well,
just you got to find the right people, and j
JK Moving was the right people. But sometimes just in
my apartment, I've seen moving companies and they don't really
care about things like that.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
Yeah, so there. Yeah, but also, please don't ask me
to move. No, I'm busy. Yeah I don't.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
It's not gonna be fun for any of us. So
let me get to this next for your Wednesday. How
to know if they aren't over their ex Give me
four minutes. First, Chapel rown on a turns you on
your morning show. I ask, gave myself a heart attack
real quick. Every morning, I like drink a body armor.
It's like an electrolyte drink.
Speaker 3 (26:04):
I love those.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah, and so I usually get like peach is like
it's kind of like the flavor and it's always on
like Amazon, like the automatic send. And so I took
a sip today, Like, that's not peach. Straber banana.
Speaker 3 (26:18):
Banana is good though it is, but it's not peach.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
Here's the problem. I don't think I've ordered strauber banana
in a long time, to the point where this could
very well be an old one that was just in
the pantry that didn't look and grab.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
I mean, there should be an expiration date.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
It's kind of hard to tell though, because it says
there's one at the bottom says twenty five three one,
which I'm like, does that mean that's March first, twenty
twenty five it was bottled or that's when it expires?
Speaker 1 (26:44):
And yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
Don't maybe don't drink any more of.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
It now I'm looking like, is that someth nicey floating?
Or am I going crazy?
Speaker 5 (26:49):
So I do feel like the body armors there are
like little things that float in the bottom of it,
like you have.
Speaker 3 (26:55):
To like shake it up a little bit.
Speaker 9 (26:57):
Maybe that's wrong, but but you also like if left
too long, they do for men, they do I'm not
here tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Maybe stop drinking it instead.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
It's one of those things we're expecting one flavor and
it tastes different, like.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Ooh, okay, this is immediately wrong.
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Well that's my life, my struggle to carry time. Let
me hear this though, how to know if a man
is not over their ex and let me get prevaced
by saying one or two of these things, you're probably okay.
If there's like a bunch of these things a tick off,
that might be a sign to pack the bags, so
to speak. And they talked a bunch of psychologists about this,
mainly because dudes aren't the best at expressing emotion or feelings.
(27:37):
One of the top signs is if he is still
angry find interesting. Yeah, but if he's still angry at
an X, it's a clear flag. They're not over them yet,
they save a dude's shrewly moved on. He becomes more
indifferent to the X instead of seeding with anger towards them,
which like I think I've had breakups where after the breakup,
(28:00):
for sure, it was like that was a waste of time,
and then as time goes like I don't really care,
Like there was an ex where we're I think we're
all together, where like they had just gotten engaged, like
that day and I was for one of the comedy
shows and I walked out of the dressing room. Everybody's quiet,
and I'm like, guys, I saw it's okay, okay, yeah,
I could care less whatever.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
That's somebody else's problem.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Now that that's you know, God bless if every little
thing reminds him of the X and he brings it up.
Speaker 5 (28:32):
I mean, even even these things on their own would
be pink pink flag for at least a pink flag.
Speaker 2 (28:39):
Yeah, And I think that there's probably gonna be things
that will always remind you of somebody. But to verbalize it,
like because they say, like how you talk, places you visit,
perfume like those things, O, my ex were that perfume, Like.
Speaker 5 (28:50):
If he's telling you that, I would be like about,
I'm not your ex, like, please stop talking about her.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
Yeah. Also that's pretty common things.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
She also like pizza, Well, that's crazy, very unique of her,
like pizza, golly, so original. If he's still interested in
her life.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Yeah, and checking social media or whatever.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Yeah, And they say even asking friends in common or
like friends that I guess he were her friends first,
but now, Like usually, I think this happens with if
you were friends with boyfriends of her friends, like that
type of thing, if you don't really care about the friendship,
but you're pretending to for the sake of finding out
what's going on.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Yeah, that that for sure is a huge sign.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
To find out how they're doing.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
They also feel like at that point, you're not really
moving on, like for yourself, No, you're not, like you're stuck,
not allowing yourself to find something better. Yeah, if they're
still in touch, if he's still in touch with her family.
Speaker 5 (29:49):
I find that so fascinating that people do this. I couldn't.
I don't want to.
Speaker 4 (29:55):
Yeah, I agree, I think so.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
My situation with Molly's a little bit different because I
was friends with her brother first, and now we're business
partners and.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
We're still friends. That's a little different. And even to like,
you know, her mom.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Was one of the first radio hosts in the in
like the DC, like female radio hosts like every now
and then, like we'll send each other radio stuff.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
Yeah, it's not like.
Speaker 5 (30:16):
I feel like I'm kind of intertwined each before you
started so completely sever that is a little it's a
little bit different of a situation, whereas like I dated
a guy in high school and then even like years later,
his little sister reached out to me and because she
was interested in like getting in radio, and I was like, okay, cool,
like I'll talk to you. But like the mom was
(30:37):
even like oh hey, blah blah blah. Like I was like,
I can't. I don't think I could be friends like
on a daily basis with you.
Speaker 2 (30:45):
Yeah, you know where It's like me and so me
and Ryan were friends like four years beforehand, and now
with the bar, we still we talked to girls together.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
It's pretty sick. Wow, pretty cool.
Speaker 13 (30:54):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (30:54):
Yeah, it's pretty sick.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
That's weird.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
No, No, but it's not. No, it's not like I
was saying, like it's it's like nothing.
Speaker 5 (31:00):
Yeah, yeah, no, I get it, but it's just it's
a weird thing to say.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
Out loud, like.
Speaker 10 (31:07):
Weird.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah, don't say that if he obsesses over her social media. Yes,
So what this psychologist says is we're hardwired to pay
attention to other people even if we broke something off.
We want to believe that no one can replace us.
Want affirmation that we were valued or a good person.
So we're hoping that without us, they're gonna be a
little sad or suffer a little bit. Can kind of
(31:29):
say the problem with that is, even if they are
heartbroken and they realized they made a huge mistake, they're
not gonna post it online. They're gonna post it. They're
doing great, they made the right decision. Life is great.
Speaker 5 (31:42):
I also think it is common, especially like right after
a breakup, to still go to someone's social media one
out of habit and two out of curiosity, even though
it's probably not.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
Great for you.
Speaker 5 (31:53):
But if you continue to do this, especially if you're
in a new relationship consistently, like you got to take
a look at yourself for sure.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
But I also like, again, I think nobody everybody posts
the highlights, so like I want to be like, this
is my third night in row ordering Uber Eats and
ice cream.
Speaker 3 (32:08):
To midnight my pint of ice cream.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Yeah, I'm gonna post, you know, deep quotes and vibes
and photos of palm trees and that kind of crap.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
If he compares you to them.
Speaker 3 (32:19):
I'm out immediately.
Speaker 9 (32:20):
That's kind of an obvious one. Or that drops like,
oh my ex used to do that. Don't like that.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Yeah, if he talks about his past a lot, kind
of makes sense. Sure, if he shares about his life
with them more than he shares with you. So if
he's still talking about and he's still talking to her
in general, that's yeah, that'd be a sign something. So sure,
if the dude is hesitant to commit, if he keeps
dodging the question and where things are at, he's probably
(32:49):
ready to take things forward.
Speaker 3 (32:50):
That's an answer right there.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
Well, especially if like they're they're just out of a
breakup and like not ready to say Look, if everything's
serious yet, I would say, believe them.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
Yeah, that's probablybably. It's probably the truth. You know.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
They can't go into it thinking I'm going to be
the one to change him.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
No, Yeah, listen, if his mother couldn't and his teachers couldn't.
His aunts couldn't, and his grandma couldn't.
Speaker 9 (33:12):
Like cause there's been a lot of strong women before
you who have tried to.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
And they can't.
Speaker 14 (33:18):
Damn.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
Okay, that's real life thought that.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
Yeah, you know that's true.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
If he keeps bringing up her name randomly in conversation.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
That's not random to them, that's not random.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Well, I almost think it's like, uh, if your spouse
all of a sudden keeps dropping the name of a coworker,
it's almost like they're trying to normalize that person and
de sensitize you to it, so you don't think it's
a threat.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
We've seen that a lot.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
Maybe, but I yeah, I just feel.
Speaker 5 (33:42):
Like that's so weird to bring up an exit of
conversation unless it is warranted in any in any circumstance.
Speaker 3 (33:50):
But like, do you need to drop their name?
Speaker 5 (33:52):
You could just be like, oh, like if it's a
trigger from a past relationship, you could just say, oh,
this is a.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
Trigger from a past relation. You don't have to bring
up their name, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Yeah, and all, this is two of the caveat of
no kids involved. I mean, that's that is very different
the last one is signed and over his ax. He
didn't choose the breakup. So if he was the one
who has broken up with his mind's gonna struggle for closure.
He keeps wondering, what did I do wrong? Why can
I read the signs? What could I have done differently?
That is why, Like if he's a relationship jumper, you know,
(34:22):
like if he broke up two months ago, Yeah, that
probably is enough time.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
Yeah, yeah, sure, throw it out.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
That Internshohn in your morning show, your most trending song
right now, Tate McGray. Wednesday means a brand new playlist playoff.
Next hay On we I got the news over the weekend,
Baltimore's son is doing the best of Baltimore, and uh
we have a bunch of nominations. Sauce is up for
a Radio host of the Year, Hoodies Crisis podcast, up
for Podcasts of the Year. That shows up for a
(34:49):
bunch of like social media stuff like best Instagram Accounts.
Speaker 4 (34:53):
If you give a.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Chance to vote, I realize you got a lot of
stuff going on. This is something that helps us out
and it's cool to win.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
Certainly.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
If you can vote vote yms dot com, that's vote
yms dot com. I think the voting ends on the sixteenth.
Vote yms dot com. Rose has the three things you
need to know for your Wednesday. Come on what you
got for us?
Speaker 5 (35:14):
We're going to talk about six Flags America and Military
Appreciation Days.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
The new playlist playoff in just over two minutes. First,
Sabrina on intern John Your Morning Show. I posted this
last night on Instagram, but wanted to make sure you
knew about it. I'm doing a weekend of stand up
shows June twentieth. In June twenty first the Arlington Draft House,
calling it Chewy Forever in honor of my dog Chewy,
who passed almost four months ago, which is crazy, but
(35:43):
it's gonna be for good cause. So I knew when
Chewy passed that I wanted to do something to keep
his legacy alive. We had the dog adoption event last
weekend that was amazing. But these shows are going to
benefit a group called the Warrior Canine Connection. They are
a fantastic organization. They're based in Maryland. What they do
is they raise puppies to be service dogs for veterans,
(36:03):
which is so cool. Sauce and I had a chance
to go out to the actual location about two months ago.
Basically it's a giant farm and it's like Golden Tree
for puppies everywhere, which is like the best honestly, and
so they train the dogs for the specific veterans, which
is very very cool. So the entire I don't want
to say a tour, but this weekend of shows is
gonna benefit the Warrior Canine Connections. So if nea date
(36:27):
night you want to come out, it's gonna be a
lot of fun. Myself d Meg, Kyle Kromer Sauce doing
comedy as well. Tickets are fifteen bucks. June twentieth and
twenty first Arlington Draft Houise Internsoncomedy dot Com Chewy Forever
because I want my boys legacy to live on forever,
and once these shows are sold out, I'm not gonna
be doing anymore. I just wanted to do something to
(36:49):
keep his legacy alive and help out this amazing group.
So if you get a chance, Internshoncomedy dot Com, let's
do this from.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
The city that changes the world.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
Here's with three things you need to.
Speaker 9 (37:02):
Know for your Wednesday Rose, which you got for us yesterday.
Speaker 5 (37:05):
We talked about real IDs and how they are not
pushing the May seventh deadline back. So you have officially
one week to get your real ID if you haven't already.
But if you haven't, you need to be careful because
scammers are starting to use fake emails, texts, and websites
to steal your personal information. So to protect yourself, avoid
clicking links and unsolicited emails or texts, and verify the
(37:25):
legitimacy of websites by checking for that dot gov extension.
Hackers are often urging victims to update your information or
verify compliance.
Speaker 3 (37:34):
I feel like the government would text you about getting
the real idea anyway, so just please.
Speaker 5 (37:39):
But if a message seemed suspicious, you should go directly
to the website for the MBA or DMB to check
for issues. So Prince George's County Animal Service Facility and
Adoption Center in Upper Marlborough is calling on the community.
Speaker 3 (37:53):
To adopt a dog.
Speaker 5 (37:55):
The facility, which houses dogs and cats and other animals,
say they are over capacity. They say they've been running
it anywhere between about like thirty to fifty percent over
capacity for more than a year now.
Speaker 3 (38:08):
That is a lot.
Speaker 5 (38:09):
Most shelters across the region are overcrowded, and you mentioned
earlier today it is Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, So
if you are able to maybe even look at a
fostering at some of these shelters because these dogs, it's
just it's overcrowded.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
They need some help.
Speaker 5 (38:24):
And at six Flags, America is going to honor active
and retired military personnel and veterans during Military Appreciation Days
with free tickets for entry. The dates are May twenty
third to May twenty six. Tickets began being available on
the twenty eighth, so all active and retired military personnel
and veterans can also obtain up to six specially discounted
(38:45):
admissions tickets to enjoy a fun fil day at the park.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
And I was like, that is really tall. I love that.
I'm Rose.
Speaker 5 (38:50):
Those are the three things you need to.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Know for the day.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
Thank you, Rose.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
You're welcome by an hour from now, we do second
date update on internshown in your morning show. They have
matched on Hinge a few weeks ago. They talk for
a few days, had a lunch date last week. He's
not heard from her since. We find out what went
wrong around like eight to ten this morning. If you
can't be by the radio, there's tons of ways still

(39:14):
You can search the radio station, listen live there anywhere
in the world on your headphone, speaker, TV, whatever, or
get the podcast you search internson in your morning show
wherever you listen to podcasts. Now on Wednesdays, we do
the playlist playoff a Battle among Friends. Sauce is out
right now. She is on her way to a wedding
(39:35):
in the Dominican where she is doing the makeup. Oh yeah,
do the makeup and in the wedding. So that's going
me very very cool. So she is out. Me versus
Rose Today. The category is Playlist Playoff Best slow dance Songs.
Speaker 5 (39:50):
Could be broad category.
Speaker 9 (39:52):
Broh, I mean it could be for could be for
a wedding, Yeah, certainly, could be for a prom.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (39:59):
We're else today, yeah slowly probably those two things.
Speaker 5 (40:02):
Uh you know, I'm thinking like romantic movies where they're
like like the Notebook there in the.
Speaker 4 (40:07):
Middle of the street, watch watching the light change.
Speaker 2 (40:10):
Yeah yeah, yeah absolutely, Okay, So Me versus Rose the
best slow dance songs. You vote for the winner A
Rose was Sauce out. You were a first, you're first offering. Okay,
I love the song.
Speaker 3 (40:22):
So much.
Speaker 5 (40:22):
It's Elvis Can't Help Falling in Love.
Speaker 2 (40:24):
The playlists playoff on interns shown in Your Morning Show
Best Slow Dance Songs, Me versus Rose, Sauce is Out
at a Wedding. Rose had Elvis Can't Help Fallen in Love?
Had John Legend, all of Me, Aerosmith though, want to
miss a thing?
Speaker 4 (40:42):
Ed sheeran imperfect?
Speaker 2 (40:43):
I had Casey and Jojo all my life, Oh Town
or nothing as a swift. I had Taylor and Lover,
and I had t Pain. I'm in love with a dancer.
I choose the results, Okay, I mean bangers after bangers.
Let me go in so over Spring, Christina, good morning,
good morning, all right girl, you heard the list you
(41:05):
want to vote for?
Speaker 15 (41:06):
Who you John?
Speaker 4 (41:09):
Thank you?
Speaker 13 (41:09):
Once you played Kasey and Jojo, I was like, that's it.
Speaker 5 (41:13):
I don't need to hear anymore.
Speaker 2 (41:16):
Yep, am girl, Christia, thank you for listening. Have a
great day, my man, my main. Let me go in
middle Rivers. Stephanie, good morning, good morning, all right girl,
you heard the playlist you were voting for?
Speaker 10 (41:28):
Who voting for?
Speaker 7 (41:31):
Rose?
Speaker 2 (41:32):
Thank you the incorrect answer, Stephanie, But why did you
make that decision?
Speaker 3 (41:35):
Right, they're all really good songs.
Speaker 5 (41:38):
However, you miss another good one, which is literally the
song you just play.
Speaker 2 (41:43):
Oh that's Stephanie. Thank you for listening. Have a great day,
my main. Let me go in Pasadena, Alexis, good morning.
Speaker 1 (41:57):
Good morning a girl.
Speaker 9 (41:58):
You're you're a lover girl. You have love in your life.
Speaker 8 (42:04):
So.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
I do.
Speaker 5 (42:07):
But I do think Rose won this one.
Speaker 13 (42:09):
Elvis, how could.
Speaker 3 (42:10):
You move wrong?
Speaker 6 (42:11):
Like?
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Come on, okay, so Alais, I'm sorry you hate love,
but help you have a great day?
Speaker 3 (42:15):
Not true?
Speaker 5 (42:16):
John, have a good day.
Speaker 10 (42:20):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
Somebody texts in Jesus John, I votes for Rose. Well,
I'll bring him into this. That's you'd vote for me.
I'm just gonna put that.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
I don't think he would.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
I'm a minister or Day online, So there we go. Okay,
I'm going dullas Jen, good.
Speaker 4 (42:32):
Morning, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 7 (42:34):
How are you?
Speaker 11 (42:35):
Jen?
Speaker 4 (42:35):
You seem like a smart, good person. You want to
vote for?
Speaker 5 (42:39):
Who most?
Speaker 3 (42:41):
Definitely you?
Speaker 10 (42:42):
John?
Speaker 4 (42:42):
Thank you, thank you, You're welcome.
Speaker 2 (42:44):
Which one of my songs, Jen, I mean they're all fantastic.
Which one though, really did it for you?
Speaker 3 (42:49):
Oh my life got me.
Speaker 16 (42:52):
I'm sitting here at work and I was like, John,
you have nailed this offer.
Speaker 4 (42:57):
Thank you girl, have a fantastic day. Thank you for listening.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
Thanks back.
Speaker 5 (43:01):
You can complain loser, No, I'm not complaining because the
text there's a I mean a lot of them are
for me.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
A lot of them are.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
But one of the text says one hundred times John's
that counts as one hundred.
Speaker 5 (43:12):
Yeah, But somebody says one thousand percent rows, so that
counts for a thousand yeah, but a thousand more or
one hundred thousand.
Speaker 4 (43:18):
So I think the listen who Am I to? That's
my favorite. It's not something Audy blew it with. The
last song.
Speaker 3 (43:26):
Arts Rose is the winner.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
Yeah, they're wrong. They're wrong. So if you have a
category four playus flap. By the way, you can dm
us at Wymous Radio. Hoodie has the entertainment a port
coming next plus your big time Rush tickets hang on.
Thanks for hanging out on this Wednesday. Also, thanks for
the nominations. So the Baltimore Sun is doing their Best
of Baltimore issue and we got nominated for a handful
(43:49):
of different things. Sauce up for Radio Hosts of the Year,
Hoodie's Crisis Podcast for the Podcast of the Year, and
the show is a bunch of social media nominations as well.
If he gets a chance to vote, I realize in
long scheme of things, it means nothing to you, and
I should I fully understand. You have a lot of
things going on, a lot more important things. It is
(44:09):
really cool for us, So begin a chance to vote
is very simple. He can vote every single day until
May sixteenth. Go to vote yms dot com. We want
to sweep hell yeah, all dang awards. Vote yms dot com.
And the rule is if we win air cast race
speech a speech for each award won. He can't use AI,
(44:31):
he can't use copy and paste. He has to write
it from scratch and then deliver him on the show.
So he gets chance vote yms dot com.
Speaker 4 (44:39):
Let's do this everything.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
Celebrity Sauce is out at a wedding. Hoodie has the
entertainment of part what you got for us?
Speaker 4 (44:47):
So you might want to.
Speaker 9 (44:48):
Get excited for the Cowboy Carter Tour when it comes
back to the DMV July fourth and seventh. Because Beyonce
actually made the stage debut of our youngest daughter Roomy
at the kick off the Cowboy Carter earlier this week,
so we know you'll as it was two years ago.
Blue Iby made her debut on stage. Has been sort
of been the main backup dancer for Beyonce when she's
(45:10):
been touring. Obviously she was she was in the Mufasa movie.
She was like young Naal I believe. But it turns
out Roomies also making her stage debut this year. Obviously,
Cowboy Carter was on Monday in La She came out
for the song Protector, which is one of the newer songs.
The video is online. You can check it out why Miss
radio dot com. It's adorable. It's like a great family
(45:31):
moment of the three of them, just like being awesome
like that. But if anything gives us incentive to see
who's gonna come in July. I'm excited. I think just
seeing those family momants makes you appreciate you, Like, oh man,
Beyonce has got it all, y'all, Yeah, she has dope.
On the other end of things, turns out that you
Season five almost had a completely different ending, according to
(45:53):
the writers and showrunners on Netflix. John gave up on
the show. I haven't started season five. I think Sauce
game upon it too.
Speaker 4 (46:01):
It's really good.
Speaker 2 (46:02):
I think it follows on the coated category of they
didn't think it'd be that popular and then like, oh,
we gotta start rewriting this thing and making it seem
like it was made if it was one season perfect.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
But would you have watched it if Joe was a ghost?
Speaker 8 (46:16):
No?
Speaker 4 (46:16):
Because that almost happened.
Speaker 9 (46:18):
So according to the showrunner, they were in serious talks
for season five to be the big reveal that Joe
was a ghost the entire time or was turned into
a ghost. WHOA, I don't that seems like a late
season thing, just to get people back in to watch it,
you know. But yes, fortunately that didn't happen the fifth season,
fifth and final seasons on Now I mean Penn Badgy
(46:39):
did his thing. I mean I think for him that
really brought him back into modern prominence too. Altimore Boy, Yeah,
hell yeah, we love it. But I wouldn't expect I
would expect probably another murder mystery thriller show like this,
probably to maybe do the ghost twist as a spinoff
or something like that.
Speaker 4 (46:56):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (46:56):
And speaking of ghosts, let's talk about force ghosts. Because
Star Wars is Emperor Palpatine actor Ian McDermot, who's been
old for forever yes, has hinted that a Palpatine series
is maybe.
Speaker 3 (47:09):
In the work, said Disney and Star Wars.
Speaker 9 (47:12):
Okay, this comes obviously. Star Wars celebration was a couple
of weeks ago. He was an interview with Variety and
said that, you know, there was potential talks of them
doing that Darth Playgus the Wise, which has been memed
out the Wazoo in Star Wars TikTok and all that.
But apparently after the accolade got canceled last year, it
kind of has been tabled for now back life, you
(47:32):
didn't watch it, did kind of set up stuff before
the prequel movies happened with Phantom Menace. They're also has
talked about Mace Windu show out there with Samuel L. Jackson,
especially with Prevener the Sith also coming out. So if
you're looking for more Star Wars content, they're thinking about it.
Speaker 4 (47:46):
They're thinking about it. It's a night on TV.
Speaker 9 (47:48):
You can watch more Star Wars and or season two
on Disney Plus the next three episodes are out their
dense episode, so you have plenty of time to watch
it if you want.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
Tomorrow on Prime Video.
Speaker 9 (47:59):
Another their Simple Favor comes out Blake Lively, Anna Kendrick
and Henry Golding from Crazy Rich Agents. I'm saying this
now is today might be the perfect day to rewatch
the first one because it came out in twenty eighteen.
That is on Netflix, so figure out your streaming accordingly
because the new ones on Prime Video for some reason.
And then tonight Capitals Versus Canadians Game five. You cav
(48:20):
wan Arena. John will be there. You're looking for him.
If you can't get it, we'll be on ESPN. And
if we win this game, we move on to round two.
Getty Hot Date, Hell who DJ Rise? This's a hot date? Yeah,
it's hot date Me and themmy hot day. Thank you, Hodey.
Speaker 4 (48:34):

Speaker 2 (48:34):

Speaker 4 (50:14):

Speaker 9 (50:18):
Did you did you know she was stepping on fiance

Speaker 13 (50:25):
I had seen some questionable behavior that, sure, but there
hadn't been any like actual.
Speaker 4 (50:34):
Yeah, no, I got you, you know, yeah, that makes sense.
Speaker 9 (50:37):
Is is the ending of the friendship related to that
or just other A bunch of other things kind of
piling on.
Speaker 10 (50:43):
I mean that was kind of part of it. Yeah,
other things as well, but it was just like I'm going.
Speaker 6 (50:49):
To keep this shut.
Speaker 4 (50:51):
Oh yeah, hell yeah girl, Okay, can I put you
in hold one second?
Speaker 2 (50:54):

Maybe not thirty thousand by ice screenshot everything just because
you never know.
Speaker 4 (51:51):
Friends. Uh, these are.
Speaker 2 (51:54):
Interesting. Let me go in the district, Scott, good morning,
Good morning the screenshot you had, my friend?
Speaker 4 (52:02):
What is it? So?
Speaker 1 (52:05):
My sister's a bit selfish and after her performance in
December Christmas, my parents have decided to cut her out
of the estate.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
Damn now perform with Scott. I'm assuming it wasn't the
Christmas play.
Speaker 1 (52:21):
Not so much. No, she just got mad about something
and she actually threw my parents out of her house
and said we never want to see you again, which
is quite dramatic.
Speaker 4 (52:32):
I would say, yeah, a little bit, and she yeah.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
She was the executor of their estate and everything, and
that's all been changed legally. But I kept the email
that said why it occurred, so when she challenges in
court later.
Speaker 10 (52:47):
I have a documentation.
Speaker 4 (52:49):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (52:50):
Now, has sister always been like this or is it
a recent kind of a flare up?
Speaker 4 (52:55):
If you will?
Speaker 1 (52:57):
It seems like as of late it's it's gotten more dramatic. Sure,
but you know, my sister's always been crazy in my mind,
but this one's.
Speaker 10 (53:06):
Off the chart.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
Okay, all right, Scott. One second, you were in the
in the running. That's I it's a good one to have.
Let me get Oh, this is adorable in Frederick Bailey,
good morning, good morning.
Speaker 4 (53:17):
Hi girl. The screenshot you have? What is it?
Speaker 14 (53:21):
I have a screenshot of my boyfriend and i's first
messages on Bumble and I will share it at our wedding.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
That's adorable and we're happy for you, Bailey, that's amazing,
and so would you mind sharing what the messages were?
Speaker 14 (53:34):
So he came up with like a prompt that Bumble
asked him and like you could ask a series of
questions as like the first icebreaker or whatever, and he
asked what my dream destination vacation was, and the rest
of the combo was like just so sweet. And I
before we deleted Bumble, I screenshoted them and was like, yeah,
(53:55):
I'm going to share this at our wedding.
Speaker 4 (53:57):
That's adorable. And you guys have been together for how
long Bailey? Three months? Okay?
Speaker 2 (54:02):
And so you must feel nice because the dating abs
are it's the trenches out there, girl, So the fact
that you found a good one, you must feel pretty
lucky in that sense.
Speaker 5 (54:11):
Huh oh yeah, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
It's the absolutely worst, all right, Bailey Hall. One second,
you were in the running. Hold on, got guts, some
voice change up here, let's go fake name Anna, good.
Speaker 10 (54:24):
Morning, good morning, how are you.
Speaker 4 (54:27):
I'm doing well? Thank you. The screenshot you have is
what fakene manna.
Speaker 10 (54:31):
So I was engaged to a prominent attorney in New
York City whose ex or current still wife found out
that we were communicating via a burn phone that was
Apple connected to her phone. And he still is sitting
in the pictures of the blueprints of his house he's
building in Tennessee and wanting me to come visit, all
(54:52):
while still being married.
Speaker 2 (54:53):
Okay, so this is a lot to the process. Fakede Amana.
So how did you connected with this big wig New
York attorney?
Speaker 10 (55:04):
So he met me on Facebook through a fake identity
that was a girl my age I'm in my thirties,
and was like, oh, my dad would love to meet
you and connect with you. You're so pretty, and started
coming to give you with his fake daughter, which ended
up meeting him and then two years later ended up
meeting him in New York City.
Speaker 11 (55:24):
He paid for everything, flew me out, gave me lavish,
exaggerate like gifts and things, and she was married and
had a child the whole time, ended.
Speaker 10 (55:32):
Up opposing to me in November of twenty twenty two,
all while still being married.
Speaker 2 (55:37):
So there's a lot to process here, Faith Dan Manna.
So when did you put two and two together that
this man was posing as his teenage daughter on the internet.
Speaker 11 (55:49):
So I put it together when his wife had called
my phone from the text messages she was receiving because
with Apple you can see it all.
Speaker 10 (55:58):
And when I asked him, like, yeah, it's all donna
live like all the friends that I was talking to
that he said with him, even his son that I
was talking to, and everything was all fake. It was
all him the whole time. Kind of Morepheemi into his
little tunnel.
Speaker 2 (56:12):
Okay, I mean this is like a Netflix documentary. Did
the wife believe you? Like was she angry at you?
Or does she believe that you had no idea she existed?
Speaker 10 (56:21):
So she was very angry. She didn't know I existed.
She actually, when she was deep diving into his own records,
thought I lived in New York, which I did it
because he was finding me out. Sure, but it was
one of my things, like it's my problem or it's
your problem, not mine. Because I just didn't want to
be involved in the trauma. Okay, but yeah, she still
keeps some very close tie on me.
Speaker 11 (56:40):
Ice her on my tech talks of my Instagram. Okay,
a little bit, but I get it.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
Yeah, no, okay, all right, fake name Anna one second,
you're in the running. My goodness, let's go fake name Abby.
Good morning, Good morning, Hi girl. The screenshot. You have
what you got for us?
Speaker 10 (56:59):
I asked thoughts of a very well known public figure
affiliated with an.
Speaker 8 (57:05):
NHL team, and it's a kind of similar story to
what you just said. But I was dating him and
he had told me, Hey, I've been broken up with.
Speaker 10 (57:15):
The person he.
Speaker 8 (57:16):
Had been with, and we were planning and went on
a weekend trip to NHL playoff games together, stayed in
the team hotel together. But it turned out that he
actually had not broken up with his then fiance and
they are now married.
Speaker 2 (57:34):
Okay, are we talking? Is this person a player or
are they in management?
Speaker 10 (57:41):
They're in the broadcasting side of it?
Speaker 4 (57:43):
Okay, local or not.
Speaker 10 (57:48):
Local?
Speaker 4 (57:48):
Okay, how'd you guys meet.
Speaker 10 (57:52):
He slipped to my dms on Instagram?
Speaker 2 (57:55):
Really Okay? And then okay, and so have you had
any contact with him? Since he found out that he's.
Speaker 4 (58:01):
Married, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
No, okay, that's that's kind of crazy. So he was
gonna fly you out to it in the way game
to like hang out and all that and all that
good stuff.
Speaker 4 (58:15):
I did.
Speaker 10 (58:16):
I did go to an away game and stable him
and the team.
Speaker 8 (58:20):
Hotel, and we had a whole conversation while we were
there about the fact that you know, he like was
broken up or whatever.
Speaker 11 (58:28):
And then yeah, and behold a little while later, you
were I'm married.
Speaker 2 (58:33):
Okay, okay, okay, can I put you in hold?
Speaker 4 (58:36):
One second? Well, one second. Listen.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
We don't out anybody, obviously, and that the show's heard
in several cities. But okay, there we go by the
vote for your favor over text nine nine three three
eight let me go, fake named Katie, good morning, good morning,
all right girl. The screenshot you have?
Speaker 4 (58:54):
What is it?
Speaker 15 (58:56):
So?
Speaker 17 (58:57):
I've got a couple of screenshots and photos, but pretty
much I'm sure that my boss is sleeping with and
in the relationship with my coworker.
Speaker 4 (59:05):
Okay, can you say what kind of industry you're in?
Speaker 10 (59:09):
It's like, uh, like cie in okay, and.
Speaker 2 (59:14):
So how were you Why do you think this is happening,
so like pretty much.
Speaker 17 (59:19):
We were all at dinner one time and I thought
they were holding hands under the table, so I took
a picture under the table and they.
Speaker 4 (59:26):
Were Oh, damn girl, damn.
Speaker 17 (59:29):
Yeah, that's great a colt for me too, Damn yeah,
good for you.
Speaker 4 (59:35):
Okay. So are they both single aside from each other? No? No,
are they both the relationships.
Speaker 17 (59:42):
One is the other one was and isn't anymore?
Speaker 2 (59:45):
Okay? And uh, roughly the same age? Or is there
a big gap there?
Speaker 4 (59:50):
There's a big gap, okay if you had a guess,
like over ten years.
Speaker 17 (59:57):
I'm not entirely sure, but I think so.
Speaker 4 (01:00:00):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
And had you not found the photo or taken the
photo of them holding the hands, would you have suspected
otherwise they were bumping uglies?
Speaker 15 (01:00:09):
No?
Speaker 17 (01:00:09):
I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
Really, Okay, does anybody else at work now? Have you
totally coworkers?
Speaker 17 (01:00:15):
No? No, it would be very bad if anyone found out.
Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
Oh I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
Okay. Well, on one second thing named Katie, you were
in the running. You can vote for your favorite over
text nine to nine three three eight. Speaking of voting
the Baltimore this is very cool. The nominations came out
over the weekend for the Best of Baltimore and uh
we have a bunch of nominations.
Speaker 4 (01:00:35):
It's very exciting.
Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Sauce is up for Radio Hosts of the Year, Hoodies
Crisis podcast is up for Podcasts of the Year. There's
a bunch of different nominations for the show. For social media,
if you get a chance to vote, we appreciate it.
Go to vote yms dot com. That's voteyms dot com.
The votes coming in. Fake name Anna with the lawyer
(01:00:56):
who made a fake family. You win the tickets A
big time rush. Okay here one second, get your info.
Got more big time rush tomorrow. Second date updating just
over four minutes. An intern John, your Martin Show. Thank
you for hanging out, intern John and your morning show.
I mentioned this a little bit earlier, but you know,
(01:01:18):
four months ago today, which is crazy. I lost my
dog Chewy. And if you have listened to this show
for a while, if you knew the show, he was
my best friend for fifteen years, was going to be
sixteen on Valentine's Day. Sadly he passed on New Year's
and it's been the worst four months ever. That's another
story entirely. But when he passed, I knew there was
(01:01:41):
a chance to do good to keep his legacy alive,
also help and Cheweye was loved by everybody he knew it,
which was that's another story entirely he was. And so
last week we did the dog adoption event, which was
very exciting, but I'm really excited to announce that June twentieth.
(01:02:02):
In June twenty first, I'm doing a weekend of comedy
shows the Arlington Draft House. I called Chewy Forever, and
these shows are going to be very special because we've
teamed with the Warrior Canine Connection. Now, when I first
had the idea of doing comedy shows, I was talking
to Buddy big d and does radio in Nashville, and
(01:02:23):
his idea was we should try to find a dog
charity that helps veterans because the previous comedy tours we've
raised over one hundred thousand dollars for the Fisher House
Foundation with another in credible organization. And so I asked
the Fisher House. I'm like, hey, do you guys know
of any dog charities? And they go, yeah, there's the
Warrior Canine Connection. And so about two months ago, Sauce
(01:02:44):
and I had a chance to go out there and
see what they do. They're in Darnstown and it's basically
this giant farm and what they do is they train
puppies to be service dogs for veterans. The sad reality
of war in general is you have sometimes men and
women who get injured and need service dogs. And these
(01:03:04):
dogs what's unique is they are trained for the veteran
they're going to be serving. So if a veteran lost
their right arm overseas or wherever, the dog is trained
to be with an owner who's missing that limb. So
maybe they'll they'll learn to walk on the left side
and say the right side, they'll bring stuff to the left.
Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
That's so cool.
Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
The other cool thing about this group is they have
veterans train the dogs, and they've noticed that one not
say a problem, but one hurdled with veterans. Sometimes veterans
don't like to talk about emotions, so what they'll say
is like, for instance, the veterans won't necessarily show anger
or sadness, so they'll be like, hey, pretend Rose is
(01:03:45):
a veteran. Rose, we know you're a veteran, and will
you help us train this dog for Eric, who is
going to need him money down the line. And we
know Rose, you don't necessarily ever feel angry or sad
or happy, but it'd be helpful for down the line
if you you just pretend to feel those emotions. So
the dog understands emotions and they cool. It's pretty cool.
(01:04:07):
And then they found that helps veterans out.
Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
That way too.
Speaker 5 (01:04:10):
Is who better to like train a dog for a veterans?
Speaker 3 (01:04:15):
That's amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
Yeah, And so I think they set it cost about
like ten thousand dollars to essentially train one of these songs.
So the goal of these shows is to raise as
much money as possible for the Warrior K nine Connections.
So Chewy Forever will be June twentieth, June twenty first
Arlington Draft House. These are the only shows too, And
like real talk, it's gonna.
Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
Be difficult, it's gonna be very emotional.
Speaker 2 (01:04:41):
Yeah, thank sure, So if you get a chance, tickets
are fifteen bucks. Internsjongcomedy dot com. But the Warrior Canine
Connection they're an amazing group. It's gonna be laughter, I
promise it's just.
Speaker 5 (01:04:54):
And do you have a link set up so people
can just donate?
Speaker 4 (01:04:57):
Yeah you yep.
Speaker 2 (01:04:59):
Intern John ca it's all right there, and you know
it's cool to see the impact Chew we had certainly
and to help his legacy carry on and do good.
So this is a great, great opportunity, it's a great organization.
Speaker 4 (01:05:14):
It's gonna be a lot of fun.
Speaker 9 (01:05:15):
But it is just those three shows, because I don't
even know if I can getting through those three shows
gonna be tough enough. So I would love to see
there take a start at fifteen bucks Internsjohncomedy dot com
Chewy Forever benefiting the Warrior Canine Connection Guys. Second update
in a second, Let's do this from the City.
Speaker 3 (01:05:35):
That Changes the World. Peers Rose with three things you
need to.
Speaker 4 (01:05:39):
Know for your Wednesday, Rose and chiapp Us.
Speaker 5 (01:05:41):
So Prom Season has a officially arrived in the DMV
and Uber stepping up to make the big night a
little less stressful fourteens and their parents.
Speaker 3 (01:05:49):
So Uber is offering two free.
Speaker 5 (01:05:50):
Rides up to twenty dollars each for teens age thirteen
to seventeen who sign up for a new uberteen account,
which is pretty cool. So you can book your ride
up to ninety days in advance, which is really nice.
And they're also offering twenty dollars off in Uber Eats order,
which as to prom like being able to order some
Uber eats that is top notch. So with uberteen accounts,
(01:06:11):
guardians can add their kids to their family profile to
access safety features like the live trip tracking, real time notifications,
ride check, and pin verification.
Speaker 3 (01:06:19):
This is a limited time offer run.
Speaker 5 (01:06:21):
It's through May thirty four first or until the redemptions
are used up.
Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
So just want to put that out there.
Speaker 5 (01:06:26):
DC's Attorney General is doing five drivers, one from Maryland
and four from Virginia, who are accused of owing more
than a combined four hundred and twenty thousand dollars in
undid traffic tickets. That's only for five drivers, which is crazy.
So one driver alone owes more than one hundred and
eighty thousand dollars according to the district and the Maryland driver,
(01:06:48):
just to give you an example, over a span.
Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
Of about two years, racked up.
Speaker 5 (01:06:53):
Three hundred and forty four ticket citations doys.
Speaker 3 (01:06:56):
That is crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:06:58):
Sic, it is impossible, I guess not.
Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
It's not.
Speaker 5 (01:07:00):
Three hundred and sixteen of them are for speeding. Sixty
one of those are for driving thirty miles an hour
or more over the speed limit, which qualifies as aggravated
reckless driving. But those five drivers combined have more than
eleven hundred citations for speeding, red light violations, and running
stop signs.
Speaker 3 (01:07:17):
Like what are we doing?
Speaker 9 (01:07:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:07:18):
Everything wrong?
Speaker 5 (01:07:19):
Apparently that's crazy and this is really cool. At Gaithersburg,
man won a fifty thousand dollars Pick five top prize using.
Speaker 3 (01:07:26):
Numbers that he saw in a dream.
Speaker 5 (01:07:28):
So he told lottery officials that he's had three super
vivid dreams in his life and they all came true.
So he knew that he was going to win the
lottery with this. He so went bought the tickets and
they apparently the way that the numbers were picked was
the exact order that he had picked them as well.
Speaker 3 (01:07:45):
Isn't that crazy? Yeah, so so wild.
Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
I'm Rose.
Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
Those are the three things you need to know for
the day.
Speaker 4 (01:07:51):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome. He let me go, Dave,
good morning. Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 10 (01:07:57):
He may?
Speaker 4 (01:07:57):
I got your email? We'll do this next, Okay, all right,
I'll be here.
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
I second date update in just over two minutes on
internshon in your Morning Show. Second date update on internshon
in your Morning Show. Because dating World is horrendous. And
sometimes you meet somebody you think maybe they could break
the mold if you will, they could be something serious,
But then they stopped talking to you. We tried to
think exactly what's going on, Dave, good morning, Hey, how's
(01:08:23):
it going going out?
Speaker 8 (01:08:24):
Well?
Speaker 4 (01:08:24):
Man, so walk us through this.
Speaker 2 (01:08:26):
You and Michelle first met, how or how would you
come aware of her?
Speaker 12 (01:08:31):
So I've only been on dating apps for not that long,
like maybe like six months. Yeah, So I met her
on Hinge and so we set up to have a date.
And so last weekend Saturday, we had a lunch date
and I thought things were going really well. I mean
(01:08:51):
we were flirting. There was definitely what I felt was connection.
I mean, this stuff doesn't always hit over text. I'm
not always good, but you can hear it in my voice.
I'm a little bit more confident as a speaker versus
typing stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
Acre So that makes sense.
Speaker 12 (01:09:09):
Yeah, So like when I've finally got this girl to
meet with me, I mean we had a good time
and we were having drinks, we had or like, we
had a good lunch and come the end of the date,
everything just kind of switched up on me. Okay, like
the flirting stopped. She just kind of seemed out of there.
I got the side hug, and I haven't really heard
(01:09:32):
anything since.
Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
So let's kind of walk through this a little bit. So, okay,
so you match, you agree to meet in person, do
you pick her up?
Speaker 4 (01:09:42):
Do you meet at the restaurant? How does that work?
Speaker 10 (01:09:45):
We met at the restaurant?
Speaker 4 (01:09:46):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
And so was there a reason we chose lunch instead
of like, because usually again not that quite matters, but
usually I think first eight people think dinner.
Speaker 4 (01:09:57):
Whose idea was it for lunch? It was mine.
Speaker 12 (01:10:01):
I mean we just kind of like we kind of, uh,
I kind of figured that, you know, as things went well,
we could continue.
Speaker 4 (01:10:08):
On the rest of the day or whatever. Okay, maybe
get drinks later. Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
So you had, like in theory, planning the whole day
to hang out all the Publiclyaomi said, like, we're doing lunch.
Speaker 4 (01:10:19):
Yeah, obvious.
Speaker 12 (01:10:20):
So I don't want to, like, you know, make it
seem like I'm like your entire day.
Speaker 4 (01:10:25):
That makes sense, okay? And did you pay?
Speaker 11 (01:10:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:10:30):
And so she was feeling it, you fee others vibe.
But then all of a sudden it came time to
wrap things up, and something shifted.
Speaker 4 (01:10:38):
Yeah, definitely, a cold chill came through the room. Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:10:42):
And since last Saturday, no response on text, no response
on DMS, nothing.
Speaker 12 (01:10:48):
Nothing, Man, I was kind of shocking. I was really
just looking forward to hearing from it.
Speaker 4 (01:10:52):
Sure, so let's of this.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
We'll call her, get her side of the story and
uh and see what she says.
Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
Okay, you got it on second? Should I get on here?
Have that on there we go? Hello, all right, calling
for Michelle. Please.
Speaker 7 (01:11:17):
This is Michelle.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
Hey, Michelle, it's intern John. I got Rose here as well.
Can we talk to you on the air real quick
about something? Nothing bad. Just need a couple seconds of
your time. Okay, No, it's nothing bad, promise you. So
we are doing a second date update. I have somebody
on the other line. If you want to say hello,
young gentlemen, Hello, that'd be Dave. And so Dave reached
(01:11:42):
out to us. He last night, you guys met unhinged
and had a lovely lunch date last week. But that
something might have been off because you unmust I gave
him the cold shoulder, but the vibe change, and so
we're just trying to see where your head's at. Do
you think there's a chance you guys could rekindle what's
going on?
Speaker 7 (01:12:02):
Oh boy, I mean okay, sure, I guess, like I
I did kind of give the cold shoulder as you
put it. I think it's because, honestly, like I didn't
get a really great first impression from our date, like
not so much like not so much the date it stuff,
(01:12:23):
Like I guess the conversation was good, like everything was alright,
but like I don't know, he kind of he gave
me the cold toes and like he mean like he
wore because he wore flip flops on a first date.
Like oh, like yeah, I mean like it's not like
(01:12:45):
a okay, maybe I sound like picky or whatever, but
like to me, it's like I don't know, it gave
me the hic, Like it just the vibe was not
right with the flip flops.
Speaker 2 (01:12:55):
Like no stupid question though, kids, that's that's fair. So
did you not real he had flip flops until the end?
Speaker 3 (01:13:03):
Yeah, they were under the table.
Speaker 7 (01:13:06):
They were walking out to the car.
Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
The other stated question, like when you came up to
the table, he didn't like stand up and like you
introduced myself or.
Speaker 7 (01:13:16):
I mean he was already sitting there and so like.
I literally just un casual.
Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
I walk up like, don't stay like whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:13:24):
Dave, Yeah, Dave flip flops on the first eight your thoughts.
Speaker 12 (01:13:28):
Well, I mean, first off, their Gucci flip flops.
Speaker 4 (01:13:31):
So all right, right, future, all right, future, all right.
Speaker 12 (01:13:36):
I mean just I mean just really throwing it out there.
I did put some effort into my flip flop choice,
and too. I take care of my feet. I get
I get a pedicure every couple of weeks. Okay, you know,
so's it's it's feeling myself like it was the first
crack a warm one.
Speaker 4 (01:13:56):
I just want to be just so I understand.
Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
So to you, like, because they're Gucci, this is like
dress up like, this is like your you did put
your best foot forward, no pine intending.
Speaker 12 (01:14:05):
Yeah, okay, I mean I had on nice pants on
nice shirt.
Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
All right, let me let me do this. I'm gonna
put you guys in hold. Are your team Dave or
team Michelle? Eight seven seven nine ninety five for six
state one to call, nine ninety three three eight to text,
Second date update and interns John in your Morning Shower,
Second date update on Internshohn in your Morning Show. We
have talked to Dave and Michelle. They matched on Hinge
(01:14:31):
a few weeks ago. Had a lunch date last weekend.
He thought things went really well, and then he said
there was a shift and energy towards the end of
the date. According to Herris, because he was wearing flip flops,
she didn't realize till the end of the date. He
says they were Gucci In his defense at eight seven seven,
nine ninety five for six state one to call, nine
nine three three eight to text, or are getting you on?
Speaker 4 (01:14:52):
Hold Rose your thoughts.
Speaker 5 (01:14:54):
I am not personally affected by toes like they yor whatever.
I grew up in Florida, like toes are everywhere. However,
if I showed up to my first date with Clint
and he had his piggies out, I would probably think
maybe he doesn't take this as seriously as I do, Like,
maybe he thinks this is more casual than.
Speaker 3 (01:15:12):
What I'm thinking.
Speaker 5 (01:15:13):
So I don't think it would have stopped me from
going out with him again, but I think it may
have shifted how I acted sure in that potential dating relationship.
Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
But again, like for me, toes or toes whatever, my
toes are out all the time.
Speaker 9 (01:15:29):
Yeah, I guess, and not to me that the Gucci.
The Gucci doesn't matter. I wouldn't have noticed.
Speaker 2 (01:15:35):
Sorry, but like, there's a difference between like the shower
sandals that you like get from the hotel to like
old maybe versus like there are nice or looking Why
does that makes sense to But again, what the hell
do I know? I wear the same shoes every single day. Uh,
let me go in Arlington, Tina.
Speaker 4 (01:15:53):
Good morning, Hey, good morning. What do you want to
say with this girl?
Speaker 1 (01:15:59):
I think I have a lunch date.
Speaker 13 (01:16:01):
It's fine.
Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
Honestly, it's weirder that he mentioned the Gucci and.
Speaker 7 (01:16:04):
The creditor two.
Speaker 16 (01:16:05):
I'm speaking in my mind. If you'd worn the flip
flops to dinner with like long hands, that's the weirder
vibe for sure.
Speaker 5 (01:16:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:16:13):
Yeah, it's really nice weather out.
Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
That's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
I mean, I guess to Tina, like the flip flops
to dinner with the pants, that's like the data on vacation.
Speaker 4 (01:16:22):
Yeah, yeah, that's the time for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:16:25):
Frat boy like it's given not serious.
Speaker 4 (01:16:28):
You know, Yeah, that's fair. Tina, thank you for listening.
Have a great day.
Speaker 10 (01:16:32):
Yeah you too. I love you.
Speaker 7 (01:16:33):
Guys are listening all the time.
Speaker 8 (01:16:35):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:16:36):
That's amazing. Thank you.
Speaker 9 (01:16:37):
Let me go in Gaithersburg. DJ, good morning, very good morning.
All all right, so you were on Michelle's side. What
do you want to say?
Speaker 10 (01:16:46):
Well, for me, like.
Speaker 4 (01:16:47):
Dating is more like like a job interview.
Speaker 13 (01:16:51):
Don't wear something that you wouldn't wear do a job interview,
because it is the first impression.
Speaker 4 (01:16:54):
Now, so you're like going to a luaut thing or whatever.
That's fine, that's great.
Speaker 10 (01:16:58):
And you're playful, that's great. And I knocking on man Gucci,
but I'm not a Samuel's person shoe person.
Speaker 4 (01:17:03):
Just clean off some shoes, yeah, and.
Speaker 10 (01:17:05):
Go make your first impression impression. Excuse me, but yeah, yeah,
it's like dating, you know, like an interview. For me,
You're trying to impress this person. You want to go right,
look right part look serious.
Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
I guess yeah, I don't disagree, DJ Man, thank you
for listening to a great day. Thank you say thank
you man, Thank you for listening.
Speaker 3 (01:17:22):
These texts are sending me. They are so funny.
Speaker 4 (01:17:25):
Yeah, somebody texted she has no Gucci when she sees it.
That's kind of fun.
Speaker 5 (01:17:30):
No flip flops ever, ever, never, especially not where food
is served.
Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
Well there is that too. What that is fair? I'll
let me go fake name Claire, good morning, Hello, good morning.
What do you want to say, girl, Well, I just
I'm with Michelle.
Speaker 5 (01:17:46):
You keep those dogs locked up, That's what I gotta say.
Speaker 9 (01:17:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:17:50):
So it could be the most perfect person, fake Dan Claire.
But on your first date, if they come down with
the flip flops.
Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
You're out absolutely. Yeah, no, I don't want to see
your toes.
Speaker 4 (01:18:01):
Yeah, oh no.
Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
Didn't they hang the banners across the city saying that
you're pregnant? Do you think that's a good move on
a day or no? Michelle or see Faith and Claire.
Speaker 10 (01:18:13):
I keep it low key.
Speaker 4 (01:18:14):
Yeah that's fair. Yeah, yeah, there we go, fake Claire.
Thank you for listening. Have a great day. Let me
do let me go in the dirty Dean Felicia, good morning,
good morning. How are you doing well? What do you
want to say? Girl?
Speaker 16 (01:18:28):
I am on his side because I feel like she
didn't she didn't want him to stand up and greet
him or greet her like, you know, like a gentleman.
But she's worried about him wearing gooccie flip flops like
that's a little bit contradicting. Yeah, I think he's thinking
way too far into it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:45):
Yeah, because it is truefully, because I did think it
was odd she noticed that right away because I would
have gotten up. But if she said no, don't bother
getting up, like then it is this more casual and
to you like it is lunch.
Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
Yeah, yeah exactly, and they're like, you can't eat.
Speaker 4 (01:19:01):
It is what it is with that he tried, Belisha,
thank you for listening to have a great day.
Speaker 6 (01:19:06):
Thank you too.
Speaker 10 (01:19:07):
Bye.
Speaker 4 (01:19:08):
The it's pretty split, like over text on the phones,
fairly split overall.
Speaker 12 (01:19:12):
Yeah, I want to.
Speaker 5 (01:19:13):
I feel like a lot of people get the ick
from men wearing foot flops just in general.
Speaker 4 (01:19:17):
Oh yeah, but there are like various levels.
Speaker 5 (01:19:21):
To them too, I guess.
Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
But like I feel like it's hard to come back
from an ick for some people.
Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
Sure, no, no doubt. If you want do a second
date update, dms are open at YMS Radio.
Speaker 4 (01:19:32):
Let me do this everything.
Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
Celebrity Sauce is out at a wedding. She'll be back
next Monday. Hoodie has the entertainment part.
Speaker 4 (01:19:41):
What you got for us?
Speaker 9 (01:19:42):
Their so Charlie XCX, you know she had a great
summer this year or rat well, it looks like the
next few years she's gonna be starring in a lot
of movies because we just found out as of yesterday,
she'll be starting and producing in a new movie from
Japanese director to Kashi McKay and the movie is the
second movie she'll be doing through a company Studio three
six five obviously because the Funk, and it'll be along
(01:20:04):
with a twenty fours The Moment, which comes out later
this year as well. No details on the movie just yet,
but McKay does do a lot of horror and thriller movies,
so we can probably assume something along those lines. Okay,
Charlie sure in the cool thing is She also is
starring in a new series next month called Overcompensating that
gives off twenty one jump street college movie show vibe
back in the day, but it's twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (01:20:26):
Times so it's modern and it's relevant.
Speaker 9 (01:20:29):
It releases on May fifteenth, and she'll have a good
role in that too, So Charlie's doing the thing.
Speaker 4 (01:20:34):
Yeah, great for her.
Speaker 9 (01:20:36):
Speaking of streaming shows, Netflix is actually going all out
this year for its twenty twenty five to Dumb fan events. Okay,
that's the sound effect that makes In case you didn't
know that that one. Yeah, you were like, what is
that word? Yeah, that's the sound effect. Yeah, but too dumb.
Twenty twenty five happens May thirty first this year, actually
doing at the Kia Forum in LA so you can
buy tickets, which is wild that you can buy tickets for.
(01:20:57):
It's kind of a mini comic con, but shows and
movies on hand. They will be announcing new stuff at
the end of May. Emily and Paris, Happy Goid More two,
One Piece, Squid Game three Wednesday, the Avatar Lost Airbender Show,
and most importantly, Shames or Things is final season, so
hopefully we'll finally get that trailer because it's been forever
(01:21:19):
and we need to know where Netflix got their their
sound effect from No Weird House of Cards when Frank
would knock on the on the desk that after each
thing that I don't know if I don't know if
they want House of Cards to the Wow. Yeah, I
can't keep it down, but there you go. Sorry, run
it for your Netflix. Sorry, but this is also exciting.
(01:21:40):
If you saw the trailer yesterday for Now You See
Me three aka Now You See Me Now you don't Okay,
should have been the sequel, but whatever. And you saw
a hidden phone number in the trailer, and you if
you actually texted it yesterday, you might want to shake
your Vemo acount because you got one hundred and nineteen
dollars for free just for texting that number. Yeah, I
thought this is what the movie stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson,
(01:22:02):
Dave Franco. If you've seen the other movies, it's kind
of like a magical heist. Yeah, every time, and so
this is very fitting with those movies of you never know,
shoot your shot. Somehow a span number actually worked out
in your favorite this time. But the last one came
out in twenty sixteen, so it's been nine years. I'm
in Arena Greenblat from Barbie. She was in Ah Soca.
She's kind of like the rising star right now. She's
(01:22:24):
also going to be in it, and one of the
guys from Saltburn's in it too, so that's really cool.
By that comes out in November fourteenth, twenty twenty five.
So if you see any new trailers, soose numbers them
in Baby's but make sure it's a legit trailer and
not like some random YouTube trailer. Yeah, and then tonight
on TV you can watch Indoor Season two. It's next
(01:22:45):
three episodes are out now on Disney Plus. They're dense,
so you got a lot of time to watch them.
A lot of good Star Wars content in there. Tomorrow.
Prime Video has another simple favor, the Blake Lively and
a Kendrick movie. We're gonna see if any of that
justin Ball Don't Need still falls out into this movie
because this is their next project really after that. The
(01:23:05):
first one is on Netflix, so maybe watch that one
tonight because it's been a Wilson's it came out. And
then tonight Game five the Capitals versus the Canadians at
Cap one Arena.
Speaker 4 (01:23:13):
John will be there in the building. Hot hot date.
Speaker 9 (01:23:17):
Yeah, me and DJ Rice very exciting. I say caps
and five so they win tonight, right, Johonnas, there we go.
Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
We will see.
Speaker 9 (01:23:26):
It'll also be on ESPN if if you can't go,
and if we do win, like John said, we move
on to round two.
Speaker 4 (01:23:31):
Yeah, thank you. HODI welcome.
Speaker 2 (01:23:32):
If you need something to listen to, your New Thoughts

Speaker 4 (01:23:38):

Speaker 4 (01:24:14):
Your headline of a day comes next.
Speaker 9 (01:24:17):
Imagine making thousands of dollars because your pet can do this.
Speaker 2 (01:24:22):
Give me just over two minutes on internshown in your
morning show. Let's go in Potell make Kim good.
Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
Morning, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 4 (01:24:29):
All right Kim? Before we get started here, what's the
last movie you saw in theaters? Wicked? Wicked?
Speaker 3 (01:24:41):
Oay, good one?
Speaker 4 (01:24:42):
Are you a fan or no? Yes? I love? Okay?
Very nice? Well, Kim, good news. You go into Project Low,
which is just as artful as Wicked.
Speaker 9 (01:24:52):
Okay, awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:24:55):
I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
Well one second, I'll get you all information more tickets tomorrow. Again,
you say Matt Cronin at the front gate, you get
free ice there you go, say, hydrated baby. So a
cronin is one of the guys that plans all think.
He commented on the video of the I'm pregnant banner
and he said that's how I met my wife.
Speaker 4 (01:25:14):
And I was like, not helping, not helping. There you go.
Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
You're a headline of the day, craziest headline the last
twenty four hours.
Speaker 4 (01:25:22):
There's this, Uh well, let me just get to us.
Speaker 2 (01:25:25):
Teen earns thousands of dollars a month an incredible side hustle. Okay,
this woman so she's eighteen years old, she lives in
the UK. She makes thousands of dollars a month because
her trio of eight month old rats rumble read engulber
paint the paint the artiste, Yes on seven by seven centime.
(01:25:49):
Your canvases so tiny, right, yeah, I mean it's it's
about the right size.
Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
For a rat to pay.
Speaker 5 (01:25:56):
Yeah, for sure, it's probably massive to the rat.
Speaker 11 (01:25:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
So it's like I would say and a half, it's
what looks like from the photo. I wouldn't quote man that,
but so she listed some of her paintings on vented.
One of her posts was screenshot and shared on x
went viral since then she's been in and day with requests,
selling over one hundred and twenty dude tailor made paintings
done by her rats. It's insane, and to be honest
(01:26:22):
with you, it looks like CUTEO. I mean it looks
like somebody expect to rat to paint. It's like their pause.
Speaker 5 (01:26:27):
It's like so basically it's like a finger painting for rats,
but it's the whole yeah, their whole little pause.
Speaker 4 (01:26:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
So she charges nine dollars for a small rat painting,
thirty dollars for a large one, all while doing school
as well. The side house earned her over one thousand
dollars a month so far, which is kind crazy.
Speaker 4 (01:26:49):
So if you can do it, go for it.
Speaker 5 (01:26:51):
I need to get in on this because, like, I've
got two little girls who are very creative. I've got
a dog. Like, let's just put a big old tarp
out in the backyard and see what happens and see
what I'm gonna SELLO.
Speaker 4 (01:27:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
Well, she says she doesn't paint herself. She tried doing herself,
never really enjoyed it. She first tried getting the rats
to create throw in arts at the beginning of March.
So it's only been doing it for a little bit
so far, but like after a friendship or TikTok video
of the friend making paintings with her rats, she decided
to your own she's gross one thousand dollars in the
first month.
Speaker 4 (01:27:22):
That is, I mean, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:27:25):
That's a pretty legit sorde.
Speaker 4 (01:27:28):
Do much?
Speaker 2 (01:27:28):
Yeah, I mean so she says, sometimes they can be lazy,
so I have to pick them up and help them
out a bit.
Speaker 3 (01:27:35):
Do you think she bribes them with cheese?
Speaker 2 (01:27:38):
Doesn't say, although people are calling it a pacasso, get
it because their pause.
Speaker 5 (01:27:45):
That's the picture at the top of this article with
like the little mouse holding the painting like it's so proud.
I love AI.
Speaker 2 (01:27:54):
And I love to hate on it, right, but but
it's kind of brilliant and it's a thousand dollars I
don't have. Yeah, you want to see some of the
photos pump up Social WYMSS Radio. It's intern John in
your morning show. Should she hire this person? Asking for
a friend? Comes every Wednesday? Friend, appreciate you listening Intern
John in your morning show. I announced this a couple
hours ago, but wet to make sure you know the
(01:28:15):
suit on that'sa In November that's not right. June twentieth
and June twenty first, I'm doing a weekend of stand
up shows at the Arlington Draft House calling it Chewy
Forever in honor of my dog Chewey, who passed away
four months ago. And these shows are going to be
special because they benefit the Warrior Canine Connection. If you
have not heard of them, their sole purpose is to
(01:28:39):
train puppies to be service dogs for veterans. And they
train each dog and it's catered to the veteran they're
going to be working with. So if there's a veteran
who's missing their left arm, the dog is trained to
help out somebody who does not left arm, so they'll
walk on the right side. They'll make sure they are
least sheen on the right. All those types of things
(01:28:59):
are fantastic organization. June twentieth, June twenty first, Chewy Forever
the Arlington Draft House. A way to keep Chewy's memory
alive and help out this amazing organization. Ticket start fifteen bucks.
Once these shows sell out, that's it. It's just a
three show run. Internshoncomedy dot Com. That's Internsheoncomedy dot Com.
(01:29:21):
Rose has the three things you need to know coming
what you got for us?
Speaker 5 (01:29:24):
Oh, we are going to talk about six Flags America.
They're doing military appreciation days.
Speaker 2 (01:29:30):
Then should she hire this person? Asking for a friend?
In just under three minutes on intern, Jehan your Morning.
Speaker 3 (01:29:36):
From the City that Changes the World, Peer's Rose with three.
Speaker 4 (01:29:40):
Things you need to know for your Wednesday, Rose, What
you got for us?
Speaker 11 (01:29:44):
So?
Speaker 5 (01:29:44):
I know yesterday we talked about real IDs and how
they are not pushing the May seventh deadline back. So
you literally have one week left if you do not
already have a real ID to get it taken care of.
But you do have to be careful because scammers are
using fake emails and texts and websites today your personal
information if you still need to get this done, So
to protect yourself, avoid clicking links and unsolicited.
Speaker 3 (01:30:07):
Emails or texts.
Speaker 5 (01:30:08):
They're not going to text you to tell you that
you do not have this verified. The legitimacy of websites.
Make sure it's a dot gov not anything else. Hackers
often urge victims to update your information or verify compliance.
Speaker 3 (01:30:22):
They're not going to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:30:24):
But if you do get a message that seems suspicious
and you're like, wait a second, I don't have the
reality go to the actual MBA or DMB websites.
Speaker 10 (01:30:31):
To check for that.
Speaker 5 (01:30:32):
So the Prince Charge's County Animal Services and Services Facility
and Adoption Center in Upper Marlborough is calling on the
community to adopt a dog because the facility, which houses
all kinds of animals, says that they are over capacity.
They've been running it anywhere between thirty to fifty percent
over capacity, over.
Speaker 3 (01:30:53):
Capacity for more than a year.
Speaker 4 (01:30:54):
Now, that's crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:30:56):
So a lot of the shelters across the region are
overcrowded today. The beginning of the show, you did say
it is Adopted Shelter Pet Day, So what better way.
Speaker 3 (01:31:04):
To celebrate for sure not do it?
Speaker 11 (01:31:06):
Do it?
Speaker 5 (01:31:07):
And six Flags of America they're going to be honoring
active and retired military personnel and veterans during Military Appreciation
Days with free tickets for entry. So those days are
May twenty third through the twenty six and all active
and retired military personnel and veterans can also obtain up
to six specially discounted admission tickets so you can have
like a fun full day at the park, which I
think is really cool. So tickets went on sale starting
(01:31:30):
or were became available starting on the twenty eighth of
this month, so make sure you go get it check
it out.
Speaker 3 (01:31:36):
I think that'd be really fun. I'm Rose. Those are
the three things you need to know for the day.
Speaker 4 (01:31:39):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.
Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
I also want to thank Isaac's Poultry Market coming in today.
First of all, we love Isaac's. They've been named like
the best sandwich in Maryland. They've won like top three
sandwiches in the country. But May is National Foster Care
Awareness Month and once again Isaac's Sporting Comfort Cares, so
percentage proceeds throughout the month go to this Gaithersburg based group.
(01:32:02):
They provide backpacks and supplies for thousands of kids in
foster care.
Speaker 4 (01:32:07):
Which is a huge, huge need and a huge cool thing.
Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
You can also bring in donations of backpacks, Pj's blankets,
baby wipes, crans, stuffed animals to both Isaac's locations on
Darnstown Road across from my Keo High School and Burtonsville
Crossing Shopping Center. So huge thanks Isaac's. Make sure you
support them to a fantastic thing they're doing Quince Orchard
Ray Cross from the high School or in Darnstown rather
across from high school and then Burtonsville Crossing Shopping Center.
(01:32:34):
Plus the food's fantastic, if I say so myself. Huge
thanks Isaac's Poultry Market. Asking for a friend comes next?
Should she hire this person? Give me four minutes his
intern Johnny Morning Show, and let's go into the district.
Speaker 4 (01:32:47):
Fake name Emily, good morning, Good morning. This This is tough.
So your question with asking for a friend involves family.
What's going on?
Speaker 11 (01:32:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (01:32:57):
So I'm a manager at a pretty well known like
restaurant chains.
Speaker 4 (01:33:02):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 13 (01:33:05):
My parents want me to hire my little sister. Okay,
she's about three years younger than me, and you know,
I love family, I love her.
Speaker 11 (01:33:17):
But she.
Speaker 4 (01:33:20):
Is not the most responsible though.
Speaker 9 (01:33:22):
Okay, okay, like we're talking, like has a hard time
keeping a job and doing like adult.
Speaker 4 (01:33:28):
Things right, right.
Speaker 13 (01:33:30):
It's not that she's intentionally reckless, she's just not. She
just doesn't have the wherewithal for this job. I don't sure,
not yet.
Speaker 4 (01:33:41):
Sure.
Speaker 13 (01:33:43):
Maybe I could have proven wrong, but I just don't
see it going well.
Speaker 2 (01:33:46):
Sure, I guess is a case where your parents, like
she's your little sister, you need to look out for
her like that kind of vibe right.
Speaker 13 (01:33:54):
Like, I don't think that there's any way that I
could not do it out being a massive deal between
me and my parents.
Speaker 2 (01:34:04):
Let's say hypothetically you weren't the manager there. Okay, so
you're not the manager, but she starts working there. How
long would you give her to be employed? How long
do you think she'd last?
Speaker 9 (01:34:15):
I mean.
Speaker 11 (01:34:18):
A month?
Speaker 4 (01:34:18):
Smitbe lis Okay, and.
Speaker 9 (01:34:20):
Do you think your parents would be upset disappointed if
you don't hire her?
Speaker 11 (01:34:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (01:34:25):
I don't think that I can. I don't think that
I can not hire her. I think I just have
to kind of let it play out. Sure, Okay, let
them see what I mean? Sure, Okay? Can I put
you in a hold one second?
Speaker 11 (01:34:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:34:40):
So what do you do if you're fake named Emily
eight seven seven nine four six eight one to call
nine ninety three three eight to text asking for a
friend on intern John in your morning for a friend
on intern John in your morning? Shout we just talked
a fake name Emily. She's got a job in management,
her parents want her to hi or her sister. She
(01:35:01):
doesn't believe that will work out. To you, well, what
should she do? Eight seven seven nine ninety five four
six state one to call nine ninety three three eighth
to tank. So getting you on hold a sauce used
to manage a couple spots. Yeah, let's just say, Colby,
your brother was not the best employee, or you knew
he wouldn't be. But her parents like, Shelby, be nice
if you hired him.
Speaker 4 (01:35:21):
What would you do?
Speaker 15 (01:35:22):
I would just like I would want to hire my
brother honestly and give him the benefit of the doubt.
Speaker 4 (01:35:26):
In her shoes her sister.
Speaker 3 (01:35:28):
But I just feel like.
Speaker 15 (01:35:30):
That's just setting no matter what I do, feel like
it's kind of a lose lose. Her parents are putting
in her in a really unfair position by asking her that.
And she's already the manager, she's already looking after employees,
and it's not like she's necessarily going to show favoritism
towards her sister. But being the older sibling, you do,
you know, trying to be protective of your younger siblings usually, Sure,
so I would be concerned that she would, you know,
(01:35:52):
just end up not even realizing that she's showing favorite
tiss and like it's not her fault, it's just you know,
family nature.
Speaker 5 (01:35:57):
Sure, I think that's normal.
Speaker 15 (01:35:58):
So I just think they're putting her in a really
position because then it's going to cause her drama at
her career. She's already had this job and she's in management,
and she wants her team to trust her and think
that they can come to her. And I don't think
that's gonna go well if her sister doesn't end up
actually following through and being a role model employee.
Speaker 4 (01:36:15):
Yeah, all the eyes will beani for sure. Yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:36:16):
So I just think that's causing so much drama. Like
that's what I would tell my parents that, uh, well,
is a neopotism? Is that considered naptism if it's a
sibling my family? Yes, I don't know, but I would
just say I can't hire family, like it's usually the
company is even in the restaurant industry, don't usually let
you do that, which makes sense. It's a really small restaurant,
(01:36:36):
but she SAIDs a big one, so.
Speaker 4 (01:36:38):
Real quick because she has to go in this second
fake named Megan. Good morning.
Speaker 1 (01:36:42):
Okay, morning, don So.
Speaker 4 (01:36:44):
This happened to you, but you hired a close friend.
Speaker 17 (01:36:47):
I hired a very close friend that I feel like
is a sister and it has not gone well at all.
Speaker 4 (01:36:53):
Okay, can you say what industry you're in? I'm okay,
And why.
Speaker 13 (01:37:01):
Hasn't it gone Well, I'm in the office side of
coach Duck and it has not gone on all.
Speaker 1 (01:37:05):
She is very close to getting fired. And it's just
it's hard for your own reputation, and it's just you know,
I would not recommend it.
Speaker 7 (01:37:12):
Just saying company policy.
Speaker 15 (01:37:14):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:37:16):
That's a good one, John, no doubt, Megan, thank you
for listening. To have a great day.
Speaker 2 (01:37:24):
By Rose, you're the youngest, but if you had a
chance to hire one of your older siblings, I would.
Speaker 5 (01:37:30):
Tell the sibling and the parents, look, you can apply,
and whoever is the most qualified, in the best fit
is going to be hired.
Speaker 3 (01:37:38):
I'm not going to hire you because you're my family.
Speaker 5 (01:37:39):
I would just straight up tell you I'm not hiring
you because you're my family solely. If you're going to
get hired, you're going to get hired because you're the.
Speaker 3 (01:37:46):
Best candidate for that job.
Speaker 10 (01:37:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:37:47):
I think that's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:37:48):
I'm trying to think my brother, I call him idiot
Tommy actually is too smart for his own good, so smart.
If my parents, if I thought he was actually an idiot,
I wouldn't do it because I've worked half my life
to get to so I thought he was gonna put
me in jeopardy.
Speaker 4 (01:38:01):
I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (01:38:02):
However, I don't think Tommy would want to work for
me because you know, I would ride his ass hard
than anybody else, just to prove that there's no like
special treatment.
Speaker 7 (01:38:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:38:11):
Me, that's kind of like that side of the coin
to you.
Speaker 15 (01:38:13):
When I worked at the tennis on, I hired one
of my mom's really good friend's daughters, and it was
during busy season, and she just like stopped showing up
during the busiest day, so it like created like like
dumb dramas. I was like, I didn't want to hire her,
and then she like just doesn't show up when I
the day, I see three hundred customers like, yeah, no,
thank you, insane.
Speaker 2 (01:38:30):
Let me go to Indianapolis on the free iHeartRadio app Josh,
good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 4 (01:38:36):
What do you want to say of this man?
Speaker 18 (01:38:38):
Yeah, I think I thought said it, but you know,
most HR representatives would not approve that. And you know,
she doesn't even have to involve her company. She could
just tell her parents. Hey, you know, I talked to
one of my HR members and they said you know
they won't allow it, and yeah, that way it takes
the stress off of her. It's you know, it's not
her not wanting to hire her, you know, it's just, hey,
I can't do it.
Speaker 4 (01:38:57):
Yeah, no doubt.
Speaker 2 (01:38:58):
Now to ask Josh Indianapolis, how are you there? And
how'd you find us?
Speaker 17 (01:39:03):
Well, I'm actually from Cincinnati and I listened.
Speaker 10 (01:39:06):
To you with the Kane Show way back in the day.
Speaker 12 (01:39:09):
Are you dude?
Speaker 2 (01:39:11):
So, Josh, I was in Louisville like a month ago
or a couple weeks ago, had to get skyline chili
had twice in twenty four hours.
Speaker 4 (01:39:18):
And let me tell you, clean me out.
Speaker 18 (01:39:19):
Brother.
Speaker 4 (01:39:21):
I can't believe you didn't go three times. No, that
was I tell you did go three thoughts, went twice
three times. That killed me. So, Josh, man, I'm gonna
put you in hold. We're gonna send you my man shirt. Okay. Oh,
I appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (01:39:32):
If you want to do you an asking for a friend,
DM's rope and at Wymous Radio everything Celebrity Hoodie has
the entertainment of port coming.
Speaker 4 (01:39:39):
Next, what you Got for us?
Speaker 11 (01:39:40):
You?
Speaker 4 (01:39:40):
Season five almost had a completely different ending.
Speaker 2 (01:39:43):
We announced this earlier today I'm very excited June twentieth.
In June twenty first, I'm doing a weekend of stand
up comedy shows Arlington Draft House. We're calling it Chewey
Forever and honor of my best bud, Sheeye, who passed
away on New Year's These shows are special benefits the
Warrior Canine Connection. They are an amazing group in Darnstown.
(01:40:04):
They raise puppies to be service dogs for veterans, which
is a very cool group. Yes, so they have a
basically a giant farm. They have a bunch of puppies
they train to be specific for a certain veterans. So
if a veteran is missing a limb on the left side,
they'll train the dogs to work more on the right side.
It's a fantastic group. Tickets are on sale right now.
These are the only shows I'm doing June twenty first.
(01:40:26):
June twentieth, Arlington Draft House. They start fifteen bucks internshiponcomedy
dot Com. You can also donate right to the Warrior
Canine Connection right there.
Speaker 4 (01:40:35):
Let's do this.
Speaker 2 (01:40:39):
Everything Celebrity Sauce is out. Hoodie has the entertainment apart
what you got for us. So Beyonce kicked.
Speaker 9 (01:40:44):
Off for Cowboy Carter tour on Monday in LA and
on top of a flying red convertible, mechanical bull riding
and a prop big grig. She also had appearances by
daughters Blue Ivy and the debuting Roomy Carter. Hey, Roomy
is the youngest dog her. She's one of the twins
Beyonce and jay Z have. She's eight years old, already
making her debut on stage. Obviously, Blue Ivy we kind
(01:41:07):
of talked about, I think two years ago made her
debut and obviously she was in the Mufasa movie she
was young. I think, Well, she's obviously been part of
the dance crew. We've seen her on TikTok pretty much
like doing all the choreography her mom's been doing.
Speaker 4 (01:41:20):
But this year is Roomy's year.
Speaker 9 (01:41:23):
She made a guest appearance and joined Beyond Sain Blue
Ivy on stage for Protector, one of the newer songs
off Cowboy Carter, and It's really Dope. It was a
really cute, touching moment. Can see the moment ymssradio dot com.
But just to remind her, you know, Cowboy Carter is
coming to DC Northwest Stadium July fourth and seventh, so
might be a preview. Who's coming to the DMV this July.
(01:41:45):
So that's pretty dope. If you caught up on you
season five, did.
Speaker 4 (01:41:49):
You finish it?
Speaker 9 (01:41:49):
John, I had thought, I listen. I had hard time
finishing the last two seasons.
Speaker 4 (01:41:55):
Demon Joe, Well, this might have.
Speaker 9 (01:41:57):
Intrigued him more because you season five almost ended with
Joe Goldberg played by Pem Badgy being a ghost.
Speaker 4 (01:42:04):
Okay, yeah, kay, cool supernatural.
Speaker 9 (01:42:09):
So, according to the writers and show runners Michael Foley,
they came in the season knowing that they didn't want
to redeem Badgie's character, but they wanted to put him
in sort of like a cage like New York City
where you can kind of be trapped. Apparently, up until
the last few moments of writing the actual season, which
is the final season on the show, they said, what
if we made him a ghost and just all the
(01:42:32):
narrational lot of stuff could have made sense. But luckily
it didn't work, Like that's your solution.
Speaker 2 (01:42:37):
He made so many wrong steps in the story where
it's like, Okay, well, have we just sprapped the last two.
Speaker 4 (01:42:41):
Seasons and he was dead the whole time? Hey, he
wasn't there. It's actually a dream, it's normal.
Speaker 9 (01:42:50):
And then I can't go without doing this without a
Star Wars story because apparently Emperor Palpatine himself Ian McDermott,
the actor who's played it, and it's been old for
forever he has been I mean, dude, was like thirty
five back in the eighties. He hinted that a Palpatine
series at one point was in the works. So Star Wars,
(01:43:11):
we know kind of right now has the and Or show,
and then has the Mandalorian movie coming out next year.
Apparently they were talking about doing a Palpatine Invader movie,
a Dark Fader movie. Unfortunately didn't get past. Who knows
what will happen because we're kind of at the end
of that original wave of Star Wars show. Yeah, so
new ones on the way potentially, I know. Samuel Jackson
also scented wanting to do a Mace Windu show any golf,
(01:43:33):
so we'd like it tonight. You can watch obviously and
Or season two. There's three episodes out every week, so
the really dense episode, so you have plenty to watch.
Speaker 4 (01:43:42):
If you're looking for.
Speaker 9 (01:43:43):
A show, heads up that another simple Favorite comes out
tomorrow on Prime video, so it might be worth re
watching the first one because it came out in twenty
eighteen and I don't remember what happened. It's on Netflix,
so really Prime doesn't own it. Capitols versus the Canadians

Speaker 4 (01:44:07):

Speaker 2 (01:44:10):
If you need someone to listen to a new thoughts
shower podcasts out are you doing things for you or
for other people? You can check at YMS radio dot com.
Let me get this next for your Wednesday. You're supposed
to set an alarm midday for this reason. Give me
just over two minutes. First, Sabrina on Internshoon in your
morning show, we are a huge life hack show, especially
(01:44:32):
the life hacks that work, because some of them are
like that, that doesn't make there's five more steps.
Speaker 4 (01:44:37):
That's not even a hack. I thought this is interesting.
Speaker 2 (01:44:39):
This woman specializes in workplace culture and morale. She says
one of the best things you can do for yourself
is set an alarm for your lunch break and not
when it ends like when it's supposed to start. Our
schedule a little bit different obviously, but I think everybody's
been there where you get on a work heater in
your on a roll and all of a sudden, three
(01:45:02):
hours fly by. Yeah, you haven't eaten, you haven't taken
care of yourself. She says that having that break is
important not only to eat, but to get the mental
reset and like rest. And then it's kind of like, oh,
I have to take it because the psychology of like
the alarm has gone off. It's almost like you're set
an appointment with yourself.
Speaker 12 (01:45:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:45:21):
I think it's kind of brilliant to do.
Speaker 3 (01:45:22):
You can't break that.
Speaker 4 (01:45:23):
No, I think it's kind of a nice thing to try,
and the easy thing.
Speaker 15 (01:45:26):
Now.
Speaker 9 (01:45:26):
Listen, it's ten o'clock yet, so they can do it
now because it works. If it doesn't, you heard it.
You heard it somewhere else. There you go. It's internship
on your morning.
Speaker 2 (01:45:34):
Guys, say a huge thanks to Isaacs Poultry Market coming
in today. First of all, we've talked about Isaacs all
the time. I love Isaacs. I get it delivered. It
is so stinking good. Great for events, great for lunch,
great for whatever, but this is really important. May is
National Foster Care Awareness Month and once again isaacs is
supporting Comfort Cares. They are an organization not based in
(01:45:58):
Gaithersburg and what they do is they provide backpacks and
supplies for thousands of kids in foster care. So this
entire month, a portion of sales from Isaac's is going
to Comfort Cares. You can also bring donations to backpacks, pjs, blankets,
baby wives, crans, stuffed animals to both Isaac's locations on
(01:46:18):
Darnstown Road across from Keo High School Antony Burtonsville Crossing
Shopping Center. I mean, I can't imagine being in foster care.
Can imagine being in foster care without pajamas or blankets
or backpacks. So huge thanks to Isaac's Poultry Market for
getting this done, and make sure you check them as well.
Isaac's Poultry Market anything you miss them Today's show, if
you miss the playoff's playoff, if you miss second Date Update,
