Your sleep story, well, Eric drove me and did dielbows
back to the hotel.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
So I actually fell asleep in his car for a
period of time, which was very nice.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Don't know how I did it, because your boy is
a terrible well he's not a terrible driver, he's just
very aggressive and it's terrifying.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
He plays crazy taxi but in real life.
Speaker 5 (01:10):
Also last night he would not stop talking and this
was like midnight, and I was like, Eric, can you
just why why are you stilty? Just making noises like
it wasn't even like he was talking to anybody. I
don't know if it was his tactic to stay awake
or what was going on, but I'm like, the dude
cannot stand silence in his car. Got back to the
(01:31):
hotel probably about one, but didn't go to sleep until
one forty five because you know mom things. Yeah, just
couldn't full sleep and yeah, my ears were buzzy. It
was yeah, So then I woke up fun, I hit

the sweetest, like the sweetest.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Could be.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
And just like her performance over well, her performance was incredible,
but it was also so much fun to watch because
like right in front of us there was this group
of people and I seriously hope the algorithm brings me
back to whatever video they were recording, because they were
having the time of their life.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
They were like.
Speaker 5 (02:33):
Getting down low and then jumping as high as you could,
like during the door. It was so much fun. I
got a video of them, someone to post it and
be like, hey, I need to see your video because
it was just it was just a great time.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
I got a video of me singing, and that's so true.
I watched it back in the car. I was like, oh,
hold on, so let me you're I'm saying backup to
Gracy Abrams, nobody deal, no.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
Deal and no deal, no no, you know what I wanted.
I looked this guy she was saying like I love
you to the crowd, and he's like I love you too,
Like as yeah, as if she was talking directly to
you and only you out, Well did you get.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Engaged last night?
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Is that?
Speaker 6 (03:12):
Wow?
Speaker 2 (03:12):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
But I think with her, a lot of times we'll
see artists that we think, oh, like it's slowly bubbling
with they have a good chance of being the next
big thing.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Oh she's there.
Speaker 1 (03:23):
Yeah, she's the rarest day. Yeah, the rare thing was like,
oh you already are like a superstar.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
That audience was so loud for her.
Speaker 5 (03:33):
Yeah, it's really cool just to see like.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
You could tell that she was just kind of like
soaking it all in.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
Sure, it felt like almost like mystical and magical just
to watch her like feel the love.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
Oh yeah, and she'll be on the show in about
an hour as well. But absolute sweetheart Cash show is amazing.
Isabella Rosa fantastic.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
It was awesome.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah, I mean the whole show. So the show started
at seven thirty and it ended at eleven thirty.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Is NonStop.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
I mean, Jason was he kept going, kept going. I
think people were amazed by his apps as well.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Well, it's funny to you Sai Kidler Roy performed and
he after the second song goes, hey, you guys can
hear me? Right, or like everybody's like yeah, I goes okay,
because two nights ago, I was doing a different show
and for the first two songs, my microphone wasn't working.
But the way it was step was I could hear
he could hear himself in his headphones.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
But they didn't even notice.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Correct, But the crowd couldn't hear him. He's like, I'm
here thinking I'm killing it, but the crowds just standing there.
I'm like, oh, they can't hear me.
Speaker 5 (04:35):
Yeah, that's that would be my nightmare.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yes, Teddy Swims was fantastic. He's like the coolest dude.
He uh he gave me a remember the phrase he said.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
I did not catch all of it, I.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Said, I said, he's I said something like, uh, it's
your world now, I was living. He goes, listen, You're
I'm just holding the tail and I said, what, no.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Radio.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
I was like, yo, I'm keeping that though, because that
is brilliant.
Speaker 5 (05:08):
That's what he said. I knew it had something to
do with an animal. I didn't catch all of it.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
And he's just one of the most genuine souls if
that even sounds right. It's like a gently nice guy.
And I was looking I was tattoos.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
I think he gave Elizabeth and a tattoo last night.
I think so.
Speaker 5 (05:26):
I know she asked him, and I know they were
headed there afterwards, so I think I'm pretty sure she
got attached.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
I can't wait to see that video.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
That's amazing. If you're at jingle ball, tell us and
how it went?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Hi, how are you doing?
Speaker 1 (05:39):
We are struggling, although I'll say this is this shows
me all the place today. Addison Ray at the Preshow
Free Show.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
I don't know what I was expecting, but she was
just so so kind.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Oh it's amazing, amazing, just the coolest. She made us
a cocktail, which I didn't know it would be a
good combination.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Great combination.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
It was absolutely fantastic. Yeah, the whole night was just
really cool. This is a very cool night where it
almost makes it worth it to be as tired as
we are. Yeah, so far and tell this adrenaline wears off.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Oh Tate McCray.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Oh, she was fantastic.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I love her so much. She's so she's so sweet
and oh.
Speaker 5 (06:18):

Speaker 1 (06:29):
She looked good to and I was.
Speaker 2 (06:30):
Like, thanks, gir everybody looked fantastic.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Yes, and my parents are there. That was really cool.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Oh my gosh, they were so I love the fact
that like we were walking into like go get our credentials,
and all of a sudden we see John and Peggy
sitting at the Hog and DAWs eating some ice cream.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
Can you tell where the Minnesotans are A they're eating
ice cream in December?
Speaker 5 (06:50):
I mean to be fair, it was unseasonably warm yesterday sare.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
But it was cool for me to have them at
the show because they've been with me on this whole
journey with radio, so they've heard me talk about jingle
Ball since I was seventeen. They have them actually go
to the show. We did the backstage sure, which was
very exciting, so they got to see like kind of
how everything works. Good photo on stage was very cool, awesome,
and they got some stuff like we had a gifteen
suite apparently.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
I know. That was very nice.
Speaker 5 (07:15):
I got to spend some time with him yesterday and
talk with your dad, and he I just I just
love him.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
I did learn something about you.
Speaker 5 (07:24):
That I I don't know if I ever wanted to
know it, but here we are. He was talking about
Charlie and asking like how Poggy training was going and
when and all this stuff, and then he brought up
the fact that you John wanted you wanted Power Ranger underwell.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Hell yeah, dude, oh mighty Marvin under our time?
Speaker 2 (07:47):
Yes, I was like what and then he told tous
and Soss was like, what is happening?
Speaker 4 (07:52):
Not?
Speaker 1 (07:52):
Why had had? And then what was funny?
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Is that how they bribed you?
Speaker 4 (07:57):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (07:57):
Yeah that?
Speaker 1 (07:58):
And my mom tells the story that we always they
always had the commercials to be Power Rangers and Lamb
Shops back to back.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Lamb Chops was my yeah, but.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
We call my mom and like, mom, come and see this,
we want this, and by time my mom would come
in and be a Lamb Chops's like, guys want Lamb
Chops under round?
Speaker 5 (08:12):
No, no, we want Power Rangers. You could wear I
don't know if that's actually the song. That's what my
brother just taped me with by singing that it sounds
like a hit to me. It truly has been stuck
in my head since I was what five, four or
five power in endies, so not surprising me. Have they
exciting child shower curtain as well?
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Sure do?
Speaker 1 (08:31):
And then the clutch moved me last night, I Uber
eats Taco bell would have been the mood got there
a minute before uh we did the house, So it
was fantastic.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Did your parents also we talk about what I'm.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
Gonna be honest, I don't know. Okay, they put it away,
you know that because I was like, you guys, have
some I'm going.
Speaker 5 (08:48):
To bed like I'm taking this and eating my casadilla
in bed as.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
I see percent And that's basically what happened.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
I still do not understand how you are even functioning
slightly because I feel like my brain has melted.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
I feel like to you, but I think it's just
a fun night and get a chance. So many people
listen to the show. I had, Uh, somebody made a bracelet.
I took it off. It's a shower this morning. But
I think that was very cool meeting people. And then
a bunch of people came up like hey, I called
I was this person right call? There was a woman
pulled me aside. She goes, hey, remember you asked about
(09:24):
the crazy thing you're exited. It's like I dated the
guy who was number two in the shower and I
was like, girl, e, that's so gross.
Speaker 8 (09:38):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
When we met Eloise and her mom.
Speaker 5 (09:41):
Yes, Elie think the bracelet at the pre party is
so sweet?
Speaker 1 (09:44):
Eloise is I think like ten, and she promised, you'll
call in today.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
So oh my gosh, I can't wait. I love She
was so so sweet and I was just like, I.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Just love you. Well.
Speaker 1 (09:53):

and they were always supposed to be there for like
ten days maximum, and six months later they're still there.
They were supposed to come home in February, but they
just found out yesterday that the soonest they can come
home is in March.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
That sucks.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
So yeah.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
The new delay is to give NASA and SpaceX teams
time to complete processing on a new Dragon spacecraft for
the mission thing.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
To get overtime.
Speaker 5 (11:00):
You you better pay me so much money.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Think of all the things.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
They could be missing.
Speaker 9 (11:05):
Birthdays, wedding, New Years, Yeah, Netflix shows. I wonder what
New Year's would look like from space though, like looking down,
you're probably going to see fireworks all over.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Yeah, that'll probably look really cool.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
I'd probably rather be a home dude.
Speaker 5 (11:21):
But you like, you know they're going to get like
documentary deals and.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
But also like not.
Speaker 6 (11:30):
So.
Speaker 5 (11:30):

SA decided to join Kesha's road team, the Carrie Heavy Equipment.
So she's been doing that for the rest of the year,
and we wish her well. I think although she's four
foot eleven and it's about ten pounds, she is small. Yeah,
so there's these big like muscular dude. She doesn't worry.
I got this.
Speaker 5 (13:06):
She's excuse me.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
I can handle this.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
Yeah, so we wish the best. Hopefully she comes back
one day, but we shall see real quick too. Sometimes
to the health and science community, listen, we put things
in our body sometimes that we know it's not the best.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
We just don't want you to tell us. Yeah, it's
just like, let us have our fun back up. Hello,
you know.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Yeah, scientists say eating a hot dog may shorten your
life by over thirty minutes. If that's the case, we've
taken decades opera lies not that poor dude.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Damn, he's eating so many hot dogs.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
He's actually funny.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
He's dead.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
You don't say that, well, okay, but acquir you this
so univers Michigan is not dead, just tore like one
hot dog cut an average of thirty six minutes off
your life. How many is he usually eating in the thing?
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Like seventy summer right in a per per eating.
Speaker 5 (13:59):
Bashes, so it should be like he should be many.
I almost said donuts hot dogs.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
He does that too.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
I feel like, Yeah, they say cured meats can reduce
twenty four minutes off your.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Life, so I feel like it's gonna make.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Good though, you know what I mean? Do you want
to live life not having a hot dog.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
I'm gonna have to do math if we want to
figure out he's probably eating thousands and thousands and thousands.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
Yeah, some things that this is right, Like unless he's
gonna live to be five hundred, he's probably doing okay.
Speaker 2 (14:26):
Yeah, I think yeah, I think it's okay.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
It's not worth it, they say. They say eating certain fish,
cat of twenty eight minutes. They say, peanut butter and
jelly sandwiches.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
He just balances.
Speaker 5 (14:36):
You eat all the hot dogs you want and then
just like eat some fishes.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
What they're saying. So, I think the hot dog takes
off thirty six minutes, but fish, even peanut butter and
jelly can add twenty eight minutes. There go, So have
a hot dog, fish and hot dog?
Speaker 2 (14:49):
What if you like back and forth?
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Oh, double fishing. I call it the ski pole and
every now on them one.
Speaker 2 (14:55):
Hot Why to do that today? That's what.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
By an hour from now, got your kenjaa lamar And says,
the tickets on in turns down in the morning show.
Right now, everything celebrity, our very own Andrew Hoodie has
the entertainment apart what you got.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
For us here moment.
Speaker 11 (15:20):
So obviously we were recovering from our Hot nunety nine
five jingle ball as he rubbed his got crusty in mind,
his eyes tired and Casey Miss. You can see all
this stuff on our social media's at y Miss Radio.
But multiple artists I thought it was really cool, stayed
after their sets to watch other artists perform. Yeah, I know,
(15:43):
Isabella Rosa, Dasha and Keshup. They went superviral because they
were all jamming out to Gracie Abrams, which we all
were doing.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yes.
Speaker 11 (15:50):
And the cool thing was the Kilroy obviously stayed behind
for his girlfriend Tate their stage, which is great. And
the coolest thing about him was that they both wore
matching screaming Eagles Capital's jerseys, which was awesome.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
And those jerseys looked sick, so oh.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Yeah yeah, and that's probably had to be.
Speaker 11 (16:08):
But dazzled yesterday day like during the day, and they
got it ready. And also we were all surprised by this.
Sauce is actually the only one who knew about it.
Flavor Flave surprised everybody at Tingle Ball and.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Took took the stage.
Speaker 11 (16:23):
I saw him in the hallway when I was getting
food and and He was like, what is that said,
it's lasagna.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
You want some?
Speaker 11 (16:28):
He said no, but it's really cool. Obviously Sauce was
with him. Uh he faced him. I think it was
floor right right, Yeah, which was really cool too because
obviously we had flow Rider last year at dingle ball,
so it kind of brought it full circle when he
introd catshup with Sauce. Overall, a ton of great moments
see everything MSS radio on the social IMS radio dot
(16:49):
com as well. But you're looking for stuff to watch,
it's my like, you're okay, you're here your present. Yeah,
today you can watch oddly enough, which is great for you.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
If you went to.
Speaker 11 (17:00):
Jingle Ball last night, Dieheart Radio jingle Ball twenty twenty
four special on ABC since tonight, it's on Hulu tomorrow,
so you can pretty much relive last night. And if
you didn't get to go, you can see what we're
all talking about. Yeah, Saturday Night Live is actually airing
Saturday Night Live Christmas special on NBC that has Christmas
theme sketches from the past fifty seasons. They have their
big special I think in February and then in case
(17:22):
you missed it because your boy didn't watch the last
night because he jingle Bowl Star Wars Skeleton's Crew has
a new episode and what we do in the Shadows
series finale was on Monday. The cool thing about it
though it had multiple endings, so you might have had
a different episode.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Than other people. Yeah, that's awesome.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Thanks, You're welcome. Everything to watch us up. If you
need something to listen to your thoughts Share podcast is
out your Miami hoods Dasha. My dad was like, she's amazing.
I'm like, yeah, yeah, you know. I was talking to
some people in the record business who were like, she
is gonna be the next big thing. She's a sweetheart.
A she's so freaking talented. She's gorgeous in person. Yeah,
(18:01):
but she's just cool. She has seen like a girl
that could probably throw back a couple of shatskis and
keep doing for sure. And we had people line dancing
her at a pre show free show. Yes right, I
got I can't tell that story about hold on when.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
I know you can't tell that story. I wish I could.
That would yeah, but no, you definitely can't.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
Everything from jingle Ball hood says on the Socials at
WYMUS Radio Heads was your fvorite moment.
Speaker 11 (18:31):
Gracie killed it, bro, the crowd was wild and then
like I got real into it too, and it was
it was an experience with Greasy Well.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
I think it was cool for her and we kind
of talked about we'll play it even later. But she's
been doing the Tailor's Tour, which is like eighty thousand
people now being in a twenty thousand years, she actually
had to like see people's faces and I think she's like, oh, yeah, they're.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
They're like screaming it right.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
She made me really emotional multiple times yesterday the interview,
I almost teared up just because the way that she
was talking about like her young fans, and then during
her performance, it was just so powerful, like the amount
of people that were just so excited to see her
screaming and singing.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
I was like, this is such a moment.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
Yeah, she was nothing for fantastic. Yeah, Teddy Swims will
be on the show in minutes. First jingle bar State McGray,
so in tern Johnny Teddy favorite f Ford go.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Fun. I thought you were gonna say family, but fun works.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
It works, It works, dude. The last time we saw
you here, you played our Christmas party live at far
but we saw you on Far and around. You just
gave me a phrase about cats that can't stay in
the air. But I'm gonna start using that f now
on that Georgia thing. You'll just have like cool phrases
on deck.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Ready to go? Yeah, pretty much.
Speaker 10 (19:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (19:50):
I've been in football teams my whole life, so you know,
they just always got him. Coach all you got him
ready to go. Coach Swims got him ready to go. Baby,
Do you have one that we can stay on the air.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
It's to take me a minute to go through my database.
It's been a lot of my kings.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
So I just I won't how bad ass is to
say now Grammy nominated artist. So I was just doing it.
Speaker 12 (20:14):
I was just doing a thing earlier, and then they
said they told me to say this at the beginning
of the thing, like, Hey, I'm Teddy Swims Grammy nominee.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
And I was like, I ain't said that yet. That
was really cool. I said that a hour or so ago.
I was like, Hm, has that sunken yet that you've
been nominated?
Speaker 12 (20:29):
Yeah, I mean, it's it's it's it's it's such an honor.
And I think this year with like in the new
Artist category. It's I think this is I'm gonna say
it's a historic year. I think this is the best
new artist commer, this is a newcomer like this is
the best rookie year ever.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
I think.
Speaker 12 (20:46):
I know I'm a little biased because I know those
kids and one of them, but I think I think
I think we're pretty kick cast. Many legacy artists, many
Boozy and Benson, and it's a Brandon Carpenter and and
Chappel and you.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
Know, I just like it's just it's crazy, how nerve
wracking is it to get Like when the nominations come
out to sit there and it's like, oh man, just
waiting for it to pop up on the screen.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
So so with the last name Swims, I was the
last one to be Yeah.
Speaker 12 (21:13):
So that that was like that last like three seconds
was like excruciating for us, you know, And I was
like I was, you know, honestly, I didn't even.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
Care to make harrt whatever. I don't even like him.
My name is totally okay. Practice like your I do
like you guys a lot. Thank you. I really really
absolutely trying to act tough. I don't know what anybody wanted.
Speaker 5 (21:45):
Also, are you going to practice your reaction for winning
losing both both faces.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
I don't think.
Speaker 12 (21:51):
I don't think there's a loss, you know, And I
know that's so lame to say, but I think I
think this is like such an awesome year and to
be a part of the conversation, and it's so such
an honor and like such a lifetime achievement. And my
daddy's already proud, you know, And so that video is great. Yeah,
I mean it's like my daddy was already local you
built son, and and I've just like I already I
(22:13):
already have.
Speaker 1 (22:14):
I mean, I hope have some more tears, but and
they will never be losing tears. But that's the whole thing,
especially for like boys, all you want is your dad
to be And I like, yeah, but you know, it's
like all you want to do is like live up
to what your dad did. Now, it's like, all right, cool,
if I have to father one day he is you know, uh,
(22:36):
that's that would be the real achievement, you know.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Oh yeah, that's amazing. Dude.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
It's Mason.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Have you here.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
We had you at our holiday party last year, which
was very exciting. What is the worst Giggy played I
definitely can't say that one.
Speaker 12 (22:51):
Yeah, yeah, I think, well, see I came, I came
from playing in metal bands and in Georgia, and so
like we we used to play these gigs that were
just for the other bands, you know and so uh,
which I think were some of the funnest gigs.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
But I think some of the worst gigs I.
Speaker 12 (23:07):
Ever played was like just playing for the band that
we're opening for, who was also a bad metal band.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
You know.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
I don't know.
Speaker 12 (23:15):
I have such a slew of times that that that
we we we played a lot of bad shows. I
think most of my life was spent playing and like
you know, like a Jimbo's bar and grill and Covington George,
you know what I'm saying, where we're just like we're
playing like we're playing basically like three hours of cover
songs for one hundred and fifty dollars and and if
(23:37):
the bar tabs not even free, like if you drink beer,
like we ended up like playing three hours and oh
and I'm thirty five, Yes, it'd be the same people
like Man, one day, I'm gonna say I had Teddy
playing here, and I'm gonna be like, oh, man, I'm
so grateful that you played at a bar and I
know you're gonna be a star. How's one hundred bucks
for three hours sound? And I'm like, tell me my
worth and then like give me the exact opposite. Yeah,
(23:59):
but I'll play a lot of bad gigs and and
I will play more bad gigs, but I will play
every time they let me sing.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
I'm gonna be in there singing.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
And I say you that much, you know, do you
ever listen to other artists or watch a show and
go damn, that's a sick line like I wish I
had thought of.
Speaker 12 (24:13):
Like, yeah, man, dude, every every every every day hopefully.
I like to feel that way. It makes me feel
like there's so much to learn about this. Yeah, and yeah,
I mean I especially, I especially see feel that way
every time Vincent does a backflip.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
I've been sounds amazing.
Speaker 1 (24:33):
Yeah, it looks good, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Yeah, I see. I used to like in my my
my glory days, you know what I'm saying. I used
to back flip off everything.
Speaker 12 (24:46):
I pull my hamstring one time and uh I had
I actually ended up getting Tommy John surgery in both
my kneecaps.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
And so I can't really do them anymore. But otherwise Benson, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
I was watching The Voice.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
I was watching The Voice recently and Snoop Dogg had
talked about downloading your.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Song, did you Yeah, that was so cool. Yeah, he
was like, you know, yeah, he said he had just
downloaded that the day before.
Speaker 13 (25:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
I was like, that is the coolest dude.
Speaker 12 (25:14):
I hope I get to one day meet Snoop Dogg
is dude, that guy has basically got life. You know,
he's he's on side quest at this point, you know
what I mean, He's already beaten the game three times
a new game plussing right now. Hell he wants to
do Yeah, I think youas.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
For kids, and it's like the coolest thing.
Speaker 12 (25:31):
It's just like the I want to get to the
place where I can run like a little league football
team like he did that.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
That was the coolest thing I think he's doing.
Speaker 12 (25:38):
Was that that that like the whole little league football
league thing that he did, like the Snoop Dogg you know,
that was like that was like, that's that's that's that's
the dream right there.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
My dream is if I go to target and pay
for something in the deeps I know it's not me
not having money, it's their machine.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
Like that's my goal.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
I swar I have the cash. One day, We'll get there.
Teddy is fantastic having you, dude. Thank you for coming
back to jingle Ball. Can't wait to see what next
year brings for you too. Grammy's Gold Everything in the
World Backstage Hot ninety Fifi jingle Ball Present by Capital One.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
Nine ninety three three eight to text DM's open at
YMSS Radio. On this post jingle Ball Wednesday, we've been
trying to recap put together pieces of night. One of
my favorite moments that having backstage was we're in like
the green room area. I look over, I see our
very own Eric was on lunchbox with snackies. Be fair.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
It is necessary because sometimes you need a quick I
have a box of protein bars. I really invite, I
asked everybody, do you need even like the record label
raps like, do you need a protein bar? That's fair?
It's fair. Damn, that's a smart move. She always trust
the food.
Speaker 11 (27:19):
You know, well I didn't because anyway. Anyways, jingle Ball
is amazing. Rose, give me some of your highlights.
Speaker 5 (27:25):
And last night Racy Abrams being an absolute gem of
a human. I think she made my life.
Speaker 2 (27:32):
She and her dress was it looked like it would
like it was dripped onto her like it was the coolest.
Speaker 5 (27:41):
Her performance was incredible, Like the crowd just absolutely ate
it up. It was I have no words. She's just
the sweetest human being. Also, Adison Ray just the kindest.
She has loves spotting flavor flavor in the hallway as
I was like running to my destination, I was like,
did I had to do a double take.
Speaker 2 (28:03):
I wasn't expecting that. But yeah, it was just an
overall really really great night.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
It was fantastic. Mean even started with a pre show
free show that it's that's when we first saw Dasha
for the first time. That girl is a star.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
Yeah, and the kind of grace, Oh yeah, it is
so good.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Isabella Rosa Marilynd girl was fantastic. Then meet and Addison
like just an absolute sweetheart of a person, just like
I mean.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
We walked in and she just had the biggest mole
in her face and was like, oh my gosh, thinking
like like I felt like I was so welcomed into
her her life backstage area.
Speaker 14 (28:35):
Yeah, basically best friends now. I feel like, you know
what I mean, I think that she would be really
cool to hang with. Oh yeah, and so are we
so well obviously probably can get along just fine. Without
saying the show itself was amazing, Isabelle Rosa opened the
show fantastic.
Speaker 10 (28:49):
Ye.
Speaker 1 (28:49):
Jason Derulo, I think people sleep on we forget, Like
his whole set is just straight.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
It after hit after hit after hit after hit, and
he just goes and goes and goes and goes and goes.
Speaker 5 (29:03):
He told me I had a nice smile once. This
was a long time ago when I very first met him.
And she's really hard so I have I love him.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Gracie Edmonds probably my favorite. At one point where standing
side stage, Rose goes, dude, she's got great arms, right,
she's ripped.
Speaker 7 (29:19):
She is ripped.
Speaker 5 (29:20):
Like I knew she was ripped because we've all seen
the pictures of her like six pack.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Yeah, but I was like, like, damn like her girl,
because it's so like subtle. Yes, but she's so like
she could take any.
Speaker 15 (29:33):
Of us, all of us for sure time if yeah, yeah,
Graci's gonna be on the show a couple of minutes.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
If you missed anything from jingle Ball, we have the
full recap on the Social at YMS Radio. Rose has
three things you need to know coming.
Speaker 5 (29:47):

getting banned.
Speaker 1 (29:49):
And I have more information for first, she was amazing
in our pre show Addison Ray on now Addison Ray
diet pepsi on an intern Johnny Morning Show. She's got
our pre show free show yesterday, brought to my master's
warehouse and I will say we went back to stage meter.
She was indeed drinking die pepsi.
Speaker 16 (30:05):
Yes she was.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
I was like, what's in that class? She goes type PEPSI.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
I go prove it. She points over.
Speaker 15 (30:10):
I'm like, all right, you got me this time and
she's like, do you want one? I was like, yes, yes,
she poured out of the can. I can confirm it
wasn't the fluke. Before we get to three things, brook
in Morning.
Speaker 17 (30:24):
Him Morning, I.
Speaker 18 (30:25):
Might lose you because I'm going.
Speaker 16 (30:26):
To the tunnel right now.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
Don't lose Brooks.
Speaker 17 (30:30):
I don't want to lose you.
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Waitrook, yeah I've yes, Wait it's about Brooke. You read
jingle Ball last night? What'd you think?
Speaker 15 (30:44):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (30:44):
We had so much fun.
Speaker 18 (30:45):
I brought my nine year old son because he was
in the car when I want the tickets?
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Oh, it's amazing.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Who's your favorite artist's?
Speaker 18 (30:56):
Well for me because I'm older, I don't really Teddy.
He went up there.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
Seeing every single.
Speaker 18 (31:07):
We were like in the section I taged you in
all the anything I posted.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
Awesome, I'll check out.
Speaker 18 (31:15):
Uh yeah, I uh why try.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
To No, Brook, I'm glad you have fun.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yes, it was so amazing.
Speaker 19 (31:23):
I mean, bless your hearts for being on this morning.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
We are we are, but that makes for a fun
show that broke Yeah.
Speaker 19 (31:33):
So but thank you so much.
Speaker 18 (31:34):
I wanted to say with you, but yeah, Teddy swims,
I love Kesha.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Open up.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
Yes, absolutely, Brook, thank you for listening and glady a
great time.
Speaker 19 (31:48):

Speaker 18 (31:51):
Westing for the rest of the morning and be able.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
Thank you. That was the fun.
Speaker 1 (31:54):
Bar two on stage, I was like, hey, who all
skipping school? Tomorrow crowd goes Will you how many parents
know that silence from the city that changes the world.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
Peers Rose with three things you need.
Speaker 2 (32:08):
To know for your Wednesday.
Speaker 20 (32:09):
Rose.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
So, Congress has ordered Apple and Google to remove TikTok
from their US app stores by January nineteenth.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
We knew this.
Speaker 5 (32:18):
We knew that the band was going into effect on
January nineteenth, but TikTok actually asked the Supreme Court to
issue an emergency delay of the enforcement of the ban
unless you know because the band is that the parent
company has to sell or it goes away forever. A
similar plea was filed by content creators and some of
(32:39):
the over one hundred and seventy million YEW users of
TikTok in the US.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
The CEO even met with President elect Donald Trump.
Speaker 5 (32:46):
A details of their conversation weren't released, but Yeah bipartisan
majorities in the House and said it passed the law
earlier this year in President Biden signed it back in April.
So Baltimore County police are investigating a mass shooting that
left one dead and nine wounded in the Parkville community.
Police were sponded to report of multiple shots fired and
when they arrived on the scene.
Speaker 2 (33:03):
They found one person dead.
Speaker 5 (33:05):
Nine others were injured, and they were taken to area
trauma hospital like trauma centers for treatment. Please say that
a vehicle on the scene crashed, overturned and caught fire
outside of the Johnson funeral Home, and detectives believe that
the individuals involved in the incident.
Speaker 2 (33:19):
Know one another and they're trying to determine what led
to this.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
There is more information or there will be more information,
and as soon as we have it, we'll let you know.
And there's a new federal rule that banns junk fees
on live event tickets and hotels.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
So if you've ever bought a ticket and you're like,
this is so much money, I have so so many.
Speaker 5 (33:40):
Junk fees, the rule would band surprise junk fees on
those types of transactions, including those listed as convenience fees
or resort fees.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
I always hate seeing that.
Speaker 5 (33:49):
I'm like, what is this even for The FDC chair said,
whatever price you see is the price you are paying.
Speaker 2 (33:57):
At the end, which is very nice. I feel like
they're just going to roll those into the price and
jacket up. Anyways, heating probably.
Speaker 5 (34:03):
About the same the rule is going to take an
effect around April. It's gonna save consumers an estimated fifty
three million hours and time wasting trying to find the
actual total price. That's how long we're spending trying to
find the actual total price of them, and around eleven
billion dollars in savings over.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
The next decade. That is insane. Oh snaps clapped whatever
for the junk fee bands.
Speaker 5 (34:30):
I'm rouse those are the three things you each know
for the day. I'm also very sorry because my brain
is malfunctioning.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Very hard today.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
Yeah, I so jingle ball end of the eleven thirty. Yeah,
I got home at about one thirty. Yeah, crush and
talk about my parents.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
Thirty I didn't crush, talk about it. But I also
did not actually go to sleep in a real life bed.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Until probably about to clock.
Speaker 6 (34:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
So not great on that end.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
Not good.
Speaker 1 (34:54):
No, however, worth it. I think collectively we're all very
excited for Gracie Abram, just because she's had a astronomical
year on the airas tour is Jake SNL this past weekend.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Damn beyond Mecca. She's amazing.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
Yeah, I kind of joked with her label I'm like
this is probably the smallest arena should ever play again
the rest of her career. Gracie Abrams on the show next,
very very excited, first Miles Smith since her Johnny Mary
Show Backstage Hot Notty I Fi jingle Ball percent by
Capital One with Gracie Abrams.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Hey girls, Hey girl, are you doing?
Speaker 3 (35:29):
I'm well?
Speaker 1 (35:30):
How are you guys doing well? You're twenty twenty four? Crazy?
Speaker 21 (35:33):
Right?
Speaker 1 (35:34):
Did arenas? Did SNL did stadiums? What do we do
in twenty twenty five? Take a nap, take a long nap.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
No, no naps. Sleep when you're dad type. I love us, happy.
Speaker 1 (35:47):
And we're done.
Speaker 2 (35:49):
But do you have lance? I mean, I know not?
Speaker 1 (35:51):
Some dates for a tour next year?
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Do we think there's gonna be?
Speaker 22 (35:54):
I mean we're touring like pretty much all next year,
starting the first week of February. So it's it's go time,
non stop really and just writing a lot of music.
Speaker 1 (36:04):
As much as I love that the album full of bangers,
Blow and Smoke with my favorite breakup song.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Of all time? What that is such a compliment? Thank you?
Speaker 1 (36:11):
Okay, aside from your own songs, what's the best breakup
song of all time?
Speaker 4 (36:14):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (36:15):
I can't make you love me. Yeah, okay, yeah, okay, sure, okay.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
I mean I think the whole album is sick, right,
So writing songs very vulnerable thing where I'm sure you
probably feel like nobody knows what I'm going through. And
then you put the song out, you get in stage,
everybody's singing it back to you. Does it make you
feel kind of like one with the audience in a way?
Speaker 2 (36:32):
Completely?
Speaker 22 (36:33):
I think it's like the thing that I've you know,
I value the most now doing this job, which doesn't
ever feel like a job, but like being able to
find community with people that you don't know personally, but
all of a sudden you like realize that we've all
gone through the same you know what I mean. And
it's it's a really magical gift that my audience has
given me over the past few years. And I think
especially honestly that this run of jingle Ball shows has
(36:57):
been so wildly loud that I have felt it almost more.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Than ever before, just in the past few weeks. So
it's a real privilege to be here with them and
with all of you.
Speaker 1 (37:06):
Well, it's gotta be cool to seeing like little girls
singing back like you are, like there idle that's got
the really cool feeling.
Speaker 22 (37:12):
I know what it feels like to be a young
girl and have like the biggest feelings in the world.
So I feel, you know, honored that they feel safe
enough to express themselves and at our shows.
Speaker 1 (37:23):
Speaking of feelings, what do we feel about gift cards
for Christmas? Gift cards to a place in general? Yeah,
or the Amazon or whatever it is.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
It can be the right thing for the right person.
Speaker 22 (37:34):
I would say, like I was just you can get
like you can get it a gift card that isn't
like a throwaway gift.
Speaker 1 (37:41):
Do you think I think the food ones? Yeah, let
me ask what's your most embarrassing food delivery order? And
we on judge he because we get taco bell past
midnight and it's sad.
Speaker 22 (37:50):
Most embarrassing food delivery or I feel like I've postmated
like cereal boxes from grocery stores before, and that's like
an unnecessary mood, you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
But I don't know, I don't know what's embarrassing. What
do we get?
Speaker 1 (38:03):
I'll put notes like it's for a family of four.
Speaker 22 (38:05):
Oh wow, Yeah, I've ordered room service and they're like
for how many people? I'm like three it's like no,
they bring like three yeah, three forks, and I'm like,
no one of me.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
Bartie.
Speaker 1 (38:19):
Is it hard to turn it off? Because I imagine,
obviously you're very talented musically you give a hard time
turned off. I'm like, Okay, let's not write, let's not
record there, let's just do something else.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
I feel like I get a little bit restless quite easily.
Speaker 22 (38:34):
But I was just thinking about this over Christmas break
because I'm like, We've got like a handful of days
with no work, and I'm like, how well, I already
started getting the like anticipatory restlessness. But I think I'm
just trying to like fill my time with things that
are creative outlets that.
Speaker 7 (38:48):
Are not me, just to like as a challenge to myself.
Speaker 22 (38:50):
I'm like, what does it look like to do things
that are like generative that is not touring or writing music?
Speaker 2 (38:56):
And just to see But I'll keep you posted.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Talk with Gracie Abams. I finally quite, what's the most
proud gift you've given somebody? We're not even like money wise,
but I nailed this one.
Speaker 22 (39:06):
My ex boyfriend. I got him like a rep like
a miniature replica of the studio that like we made
like that he makes everything up that we made all
our music together and it was like to the tiniest details,
so sick, great gift, so.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Much of being here. Thank you for having me.
Speaker 1 (39:24):

Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Yeah, I think she was taken back a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:00:22):
Yeah, I mean she opened up for Taylor and the
heirs to her, so obviously she's played massive, massive stadiums.
I think being in a smaller ish venue compared to
a football stadium, I'll see the audience. I think she's
a little bit like, oh, like right, she.
Speaker 5 (01:00:36):
Could definitely see faces like she was in like the
front rows, Yeah, like hi, and I love you and
and I was like, she's just she's so personal.
Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
She's just the nicest.
Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
And then of course Taate mcray fantastic. I love her,
kid Larroy amazing. The entire show was amazing. It was
worth the lack of sleep for me. I have my
parents there. That was really cool for them to be
able to see it and like to see their first
set ball and like they got this swag bag because
they're put in the suite. Dude, they got a bunch
of stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:01:02):
They got like a nice yetty tumble.
Speaker 7 (01:01:05):
Yeah, that's cool.
Speaker 2 (01:01:06):
Two of them was like, canna, canna has yeah in
the hazard what can I see it? Where that money go?
Speaker 6 (01:01:14):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (01:01:29):

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):

Uh So they went up in June and it was

Well six months later, yeah, they are still there. They

they can come home is late March.
Speaker 2 (01:01:57):

Speaker 6 (01:01:59):
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
Oh yeah, so.
Speaker 5 (01:02:01):
Sad, absolutely insane, but you know the movie that the
gonna be based on this is gonna be pretty awesome.
Speaker 1 (01:02:07):
Yeah, absolutely, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 5 (01:02:09):
The Baltimore County Police are investigating mass shooting that left
one dead and nine wounded in the Parkville Commuity yesterday.
Police responded to a report of multiple shots fired. Now
please say, a ehicle at the scene crashed, overturn and
caught on fire.
Speaker 2 (01:02:21):
Outside of the Johnson Funeral Home into Texas.
Speaker 5 (01:02:23):
To believe the individuals involved in the incident know each
other and they're trying to determine what led to the shooting.
Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
So once they have more information, they're going.
Speaker 3 (01:02:31):

to be really awesome. Also, love this a portion of
ticket sale proceeds will be donated to Girls Rock DC,
which provides all music education and performers opportunities to young
(01:03:10):
women in the DMV.
Speaker 2 (01:03:11):

Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
I'm rose.
Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Those are the three things you to know for today.
Thank you, Ch're welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
Yesco Christian, good morning, Good morning. Hey, I have everything here.
We'll do this next. Okay, okay, I had second date
update on intern Johnny Morning date update on intern john
In your morning show, you go out with somebody, you
think there's a vibe, you think there's connection, then they
stop talking to you. We try to see where things
went wrong. Christian, good morning, Good morning. So walk us
(01:03:42):
through this because this is a little bit unique. You
and Amanda have known each other for a while.
Speaker 19 (01:03:49):
Yeah, we're in the same kind of friends circle group.
We've known each other a bit, We were friendly, we
liked each other. It's a good thing. Yeah, I've always
kind of liked her a bit.
Speaker 1 (01:03:59):
And so you you finally kind of took the leap
about a couple of weeks ago and asked her out
to dinner.
Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
Correct, I did.
Speaker 19 (01:04:07):
I went forward, I took a shot see where it
would go, and we went out. We had some drinks
and it was a good time, and uh, you know,
I thought she kind of felt the same way, and
you know, we agreed like it wouldn't mess up our
friend group and vibe, and we talked it out and
I thought we had a good time, and you know,
I was pretty hopeful.
Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
Okay, And then let's fast forward to this weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:04:24):
What happens?
Speaker 19 (01:04:27):
Uh this weekend? I called her into last week and uh,
after to a CAFs game, like good tickets and I
had tickets and let's go to a CASPs game and
she U she was like okay, And.
Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
What happened?
Speaker 19 (01:04:40):
She she blew me off, okay, canceled and no response.
And I haven't talked to her.
Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
And that was for the game this past Saturday. Yep, okay.
Uh And did she say why she couldn't go? Did she?
Speaker 2 (01:04:54):
Was there a reason why.
Speaker 6 (01:04:57):
She did not?
Speaker 19 (01:04:58):
It was actually a voicemail and then I got which
I got. You know, I called her back a little
bit and haven't talked to her, but she knows in
the voicemails.
Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
No, No, I just can't.
Speaker 19 (01:05:06):
I can't go. I mean, it's no reason. I don't
believe it. Whatever, you know, no reason which makes.
Speaker 10 (01:05:11):
Me think she never said she was like actually going.
She didn't cancel, she just didn't want to go, basically, yeah, yes,
and like no.
Speaker 19 (01:05:19):
She didn't tell me any conflict, any conflict.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
Yeah yeah, wait, I'm confused. But she had agreed to
go at the game originally?
Speaker 11 (01:05:25):
Or no?
Speaker 19 (01:05:26):
Yes, yes, we talked to Rich.
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Got it? Okay? Yeah, okay, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
And you've not heard from her since Saturday.
Speaker 19 (01:05:34):
Right, and I've reached out and I've heard back.
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
When you originally asked her out, does she see him
excited or she seem like, ah, this maybe isn't a
good idea because the friend dynamic, I think throws a
little bit of a wrenching things.
Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
Yeah, no, she was, and she was excited.
Speaker 19 (01:05:48):
And the first date we talked about the monkey wrench
friend thing and we you know, we were cool with it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
Do you others in the friend group seem in favor?
Do they not know or what's what's their value vibe?
Speaker 19 (01:06:01):
I don't. I haven't told all of them, the ones
I have told my buddies there there, say, Dave, it's
a good idea. Nobody's I've heard nothing negative about that?
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
And yeah, okay, so were you too, Like the friends,
Everybody's like, oh, you two should rely date each other.
Speaker 19 (01:06:15):
I think, I mean, it hasn't been a conversation, but
I think I pick up that vibe that people, you know,
when I've mentioned, oh, you know, she's really I'm into her,
and I've gotten a nod and a yeah A good idea, dude.
Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
Okay, got it? Okay, okay, so let's do this. We'll
call Amanda and trag you around with us and see
what her side is.
Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Okay, thank you? O. One second? Should I get her
real quick?
Speaker 1 (01:06:39):
Not going to the CAFs game? I said, should make cryme?
Speaker 7 (01:06:41):
I I love Cassie, It's so fun.
Speaker 1 (01:06:49):
Hello, Hi is Amanda? Yes, hey, it's a intern geon.
I got Sauce and Rose here as well. Can we
talked to you on the show real quick about something
nothing not bad to seed, like thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Seconds your time?
Speaker 1 (01:07:02):
Oh okay, yeah, beautiful, we are doing a second date update, Amanda.
I got somebody in the line, Christian if you want
to say hello, Hello, nailed that, as Amanda, Christian Rey
shot to us he had told us, you, guys, I've
been friends for a minute, had a date. A couple
of weeks ago, things went well, We're supposed to go
to the Cats game this weekend, but you canceled last minute,
(01:07:23):
and he's not heard from you since. So we're trying
to see where your head's at, to see if this
is something he should pursue or if it's time to
cut bait and move on.
Speaker 13 (01:07:34):
Okay, Well Hi Christian, Hi, Yeah, I I found out
that you had invited Becca.
Speaker 19 (01:07:47):
That game, and I just.
Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
I don't want to be your second choice.
Speaker 1 (01:07:54):
For those of us at home, Amanda, who is Becca?
Speaker 13 (01:07:59):
She's another girl and a friend group.
Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
Each other, third wheel situation or he only had two
tickets in the hour, like.
Speaker 13 (01:08:10):
He asked somebody else first, yes, yeah, yeah, And and
to me that was like one, am I just like
your second choice?
Speaker 2 (01:08:18):
I don't. I don't like that, Christian.
Speaker 19 (01:08:25):
Becca's she That wasn't like a that was a different thing. Man, man,
that was.
Speaker 1 (01:08:32):
How is that different? Just so we know, Christian, I'm
not judging, but so we know.
Speaker 19 (01:08:38):
I don't know Becca's more and Mecca's. I don't know.
Becca's more of sports scene, kind of sports fan. I
don't know that was Becca's more.
Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 19 (01:08:45):
I'm not really interested in dating Becca is.
Speaker 7 (01:08:47):
How it's different into the Caps is what you're saying.
Speaker 19 (01:08:51):
And she loves and yes, and so was Amanda. But
if I was just gonna have a friend go to
a Caps game, I mean, I guess if I'm on
it would be back instead of Ravanda. But I don't
want I'm not in I mean Amanda's I'm not in
the Becka that way.
Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
Okay, I didn't, ye, so you see beck as more
of a bro and Amanda mor is like, yeah, okay,
let me do this. I'm gonna put you guys in hold?
Are you a team Christian or team Amanda? Eight seven
seven nine for six State one to call nine ninety
three three eight to text. It's second date updates on
intern john Your Morning Show. Second Date updates interns Johnny
(01:09:26):
Your Morning Show. We just talked to Christian and Amanda.
They're friends of the Friend Group. They had a good
first date. They're supposed to have a second day at
the CAFs game this weekend. She blew him off. Whose
side are you on? Eight seven seven nine five for
six State one to call nine nine three three eight
to text Will it gets you?
Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
In hold?
Speaker 10 (01:09:42):
Shelby Sauce Your thoughts I just don't think it's a
good idea. I just don't think it's a good idea
to date your friends, Like it already is messy. You're
not even two dates in. You're talking about the second date.
I understand, though, why he would invite the girl that
likes sports more like they're his friends, she's just into sports.
But I mean, if you're interested, if it's always like
(01:10:04):
if he wanted to be would or like if they
wanted to they would, so I I do think you
just should have invited her first personally if they talked
about it.
Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Well, it's also if they're all friends. You think the
girls talk to each other.
Speaker 7 (01:10:16):
And I'm saying, like, you shouldn't be dating your friends.
Speaker 2 (01:10:18):
Yeah, your thoughts.
Speaker 5 (01:10:20):
I wouldn't feel good about being the second choice. Yeah,
but I understand why he invited the other girl, the
one that like the sports more like, I get it.
I think it's like genuine miscommunication with this, But I don't.
Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
I don't know, it's tough. I mean, I wouldn't invite
a friend the frank.
Speaker 10 (01:10:40):
I just think it's because you brought it up, you know, Yeah,
and then he like didn't invite her, and then she
found out she was like second second best.
Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
Yeah, I found people don't like feel like their second
fiddle is a general kind of a rule of thumb.
Let me go in Rockville Mackenzie, good morning. Wait oh,
I'm sorry that mcans there.
Speaker 2 (01:11:00):
Good morning, Oh, good morning.
Speaker 1 (01:11:02):
What do you want to say a second day update?
Speaker 6 (01:11:06):
I'm definitely team Amanda, just because I definitely agree, you know,
and no one wants to be a second choice.
Speaker 16 (01:11:11):
And I'm a diehard Caps fan as well. I understand,
you know, asking the.
Speaker 6 (01:11:16):
Other friends, but if you're in the same friend group,
you know, and you're trying to grapple with Amanda, don't
be strayed up telling her even on the radio that
you were doing a pickback in the first place, Like
it just makes people feel place, you know, a second.
Speaker 16 (01:11:30):
So you know, I'm definitely being Amanda with this one.
Run don't do your.
Speaker 2 (01:11:34):
Friends is I think that's fair?
Speaker 1 (01:11:36):
McKenzie, thank you for listening, have a great.
Speaker 3 (01:11:37):
Day, Welcome you too, Bye.
Speaker 1 (01:11:40):
Going Warranton Ashley, good morning.
Speaker 18 (01:11:44):
Hey, good morning.
Speaker 2 (01:11:45):
What do you want to stay with this girl?
Speaker 8 (01:11:47):
Uh?
Speaker 18 (01:11:48):
To me, I'm definitely a team Amanda. I just don't
think it matters like if the other girl's interested in sports, like,
you shouldn't be the second choice and sometimes you guys
really show how they're interested with your Actually she should
have been the first choice.
Speaker 1 (01:12:02):
Yeah, I mean to me as it goes back to like,
why would you think that they wouldn't talk to each
other and bring up Yeah, I don't disagree, Ashly, thank
you for listening to have.
Speaker 2 (01:12:11):
A great day. Thank you too, by let me go, Marina,
good morning, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
What would you want to say? A second date update?
Speaker 2 (01:12:21):
So I am team Christian.
Speaker 6 (01:12:24):
I feel that Yeah, he asked his friends first, and
when she said no, it gave him that little push
to actually ask the girl that he likes.
Speaker 16 (01:12:32):
And now you know he's putting in that effort.
Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
So you're saying, Marina, because he sees Becca as like
one of the boys, like that kind of negates the
whole Thing'd be different if he's as a potential like girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (01:12:44):
Yeah, exactly. Yeah, I don't disagree, Maria.
Speaker 1 (01:12:47):
Thank you for listening.
Speaker 2 (01:12:50):
Wait wait, wait, Marie, is somebody else.
Speaker 4 (01:12:51):
In the car.
Speaker 19 (01:12:54):
She's a part of the group and she should know.
Speaker 2 (01:12:56):
Got you girl? Is somebody else in the car with you?
Oh yeah, my husband, husband?
Speaker 1 (01:13:02):
What's that husband up?
Speaker 20 (01:13:04):
What's his name is John?
Speaker 19 (01:13:07):
You man?
Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
Hey, guys, will you grab John's butt for me today?
Marina and tell us for me?
Speaker 2 (01:13:13):
I already have We'll do it again. You have a
great day. Thank you, my man.
Speaker 1 (01:13:20):
You cannot continue to retext nine ninety three three eight
if you want to do a second date up day.
Dms are open at y MS Radio Everything jingle Ball,
Entertainment Reporting, Spacial DC, jingle Ball Beat Reporter, and a
(01:13:40):
jingle Ball guenteranteament apart which you have for us. Wait wait,
stop that, wait on keep talking you Yeah, I use
different microphone that's not working.
Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Yeah, that's perfect.
Speaker 1 (01:13:56):
Hello, very all right.
Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
Cool.
Speaker 1 (01:13:58):
Hi, So jingle Ball happened last night. In case you
missed out. It was a great time.
Speaker 6 (01:14:02):
It was.
Speaker 11 (01:14:04):
It was a fantastic time. Kind of big things we
saw from it, multiple artists.
Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
Was was cool.
Speaker 11 (01:14:09):
Stayed after they're set to watch other artists perform, which
is kind of the highlight. We obviously saw kill Roy
stay for take because girlfriend, but we the cool thing
was you can see at YMS Radio Isabelle, Larissa, Dasha
and Kesha all were singing Gracey Abrams together.
Speaker 1 (01:14:24):
That's pretty cool. Yeah, they say the entire time. I
think you figured out how to go back to the microphone. There,
we have hold one. We're doing it. Yeah, it's all good.
Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
But so that was really cool.
Speaker 11 (01:14:37):
I loved it because like they hear everyone's music all
the time. So cool that I actually appreciate.
Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
You get to listen to it to see.
Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
Them be fans.
Speaker 11 (01:14:44):
Oh yeah, say the entire show the whole time. And
for a lot of them, it was their last stop
on the jingle Ball tour. So it was really cool
that we're rallying together because peopletop the kid Larroy actually
to an Tate McGray were wearing matching Capitol's jerseys.
Speaker 1 (01:14:59):
It was just awesome, screaming Eagles. You know, I'm so jealous.
Speaker 11 (01:15:03):
And our girl Dash was actually wearing the the City
Connect the City uniform for the Wizards.
Speaker 7 (01:15:09):
Value really cool. That was really cool.
Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
That's actually cool with that jersey.
Speaker 11 (01:15:13):
That's when the Wizards actually changed the court, so it's
a completely different color tubes. You go to those games
this year, you know what it looks like. Dash for
it and the moment that surprised us all but only
one of us knew about it. I'm sorry, Flavor Flame
surprised the crowd and introduced Cash a sauce legendary.
Speaker 6 (01:15:33):
He was.
Speaker 7 (01:15:34):
He was, he was plenty flirty, he was pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (01:15:37):
He could have been on Flavor of Love almost. I
could have.
Speaker 7 (01:15:39):
Yeah, he said, he's like, I definitely.
Speaker 2 (01:15:41):
Would have let you on.
Speaker 7 (01:15:42):
I was like, I was like in high school.
Speaker 2 (01:15:44):
I didn't know that he's not.
Speaker 7 (01:15:46):
I said it on stage.
Speaker 1 (01:15:47):
Yeah, yeah he knows now he knows down reboot it
bring her back.
Speaker 11 (01:15:53):
But to see everything from dingle Ball, you can see
everything at YMS Radio on all socials. We got a
ton of great moments. Stage performance interviews are growing up
soom too. So if you want to see all the
cool stuff, you get too. If you'll give for stuff
to watch what we do in the Shadows actually had
its series finale this week.
Speaker 2 (01:16:08):
Cool thing about it.
Speaker 11 (01:16:09):
It has multiple endings, so the episode you watch might
be different than what someone else watched on Hulu.
Speaker 2 (01:16:14):
That's so cool.
Speaker 11 (01:16:15):
Star Wars Skeleton Crew had a new episode last night.
I didn't get to watch it, so you boys watching tonight,
so it counts as new for today, hey man. And
cool thing is if whether you went to jingle Ball
last night or you missed out the iHeartRadio jingle Bowl
twenty twenty four tour special airs tonight on ABC Who tomorrow.
Essentially it has all the performances, so whether you want
to relive it or you want to experience for the
first time, because we've been talking about it the whole day,
(01:16:37):
you can do that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:38):
Thanks honey, Welcome.
Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
Last night was amazing, by the best thing balls we've had,
starting with the pre show free Shaw, Thanks and Matches,
warehouse as and Ray fantastic. She's Lovely dash of wasa McKenna.
Speaker 2 (01:16:49):
Grace.
Speaker 1 (01:16:49):
Isabella Ros said the show itself was amazing start to finish.
I think some people as their first concert and they
didn't necessarily take it seriously. Why I said, there's no
bathroom breaks? Yeah, because it's like, who would you want
to miss this?
Speaker 15 (01:17:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 10 (01:17:02):
Because I saw people like they were on the floors
that started to like run up to go to the
bathroom and then they're like wait no, and like they
turned out.
Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
Yeah, it was just kind of like it was a
very cool, surreal moment. I think Dasha is gonna be
probably one of the next big things. I think Gracy
Abrasham is there already. Yeah, like that's the vibe. Tate
was fantastic. Tate was cool because I've always said with
jingle Ball, like you never know who's gonna be next.
And Tate three years ago was we kind of call
a baby act where she had a couple of songs
(01:17:30):
and like was had a lot of potential and now
here we are headlining the album coming next year as well.
So jingle Ball was fantastic. If you were there, if
you said hi to us, thank you. Make sure tag
us at WYMUS Radio as a hoodie mansion. Tons of
behind the scenes videos. You gotta see what Eric brought
into the green room. I was in the green room
(01:17:50):
hanging out. I look over what Eric pulled out his
bag is something only Eric would think to bring.
Speaker 8 (01:17:58):
It was.
Speaker 1 (01:17:58):
It was a good call. You can check it on
our Instagram at YMS Radio. Zaine Malick come in to

That'd be correct rose point for rose, also known as

but they have good stuff.
Speaker 7 (01:19:36):

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):

Speaker 1 (01:20:36):
I think like a year and like that.
Speaker 5 (01:20:39):
Do not remember that?
Speaker 4 (01:20:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:20:42):
Well Sharon was on she was on a different X factor.
Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
I think, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
Robin Williams became this cross dressing nanny so you could

be nice, like a re release.
Speaker 1 (01:21:06):
Oh yeah yeah, let me go in Alexandria and a

Speaker 3 (01:21:12):

Speaker 2 (01:21:19):
All right?
Speaker 1 (01:21:19):
Well, here we go, ann and get this right. You're
gonna see zaying. Here's your question. In what nineteen ninety
three Disney movie where the Sanderson sister is resurrected by
a virgin laid in the black flame candle on Halloween?
Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
That would be hocus Pocus.
Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
You're gonna see zaying.
Speaker 2 (01:21:37):
Congratulations, awesome, Thanks so much, guys. I'm glad is a blast.
Speaker 1 (01:21:43):

Speaker 10 (01:22:42):
He was just hilarious and he was facetiving flow Rida
and I was like what does he do? And I
was like, why keep heating up holding of your phone
in my face?
Speaker 2 (01:22:48):
And I was like that amazing, it's amazing.
Speaker 7 (01:22:53):
The phone was like what.
Speaker 5 (01:22:56):
Gracie abrams all around like, she was amazing to talk
to backstage. She made me pretty emotional, like multiple times
she was like talking about like young girls looking up
to her.
Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
I just adore her.
Speaker 5 (01:23:12):
And then when she was performing, there was this group
that was very like there were maybe three rows back
from the stage and they were having.
Speaker 2 (01:23:20):
The time of their life.
Speaker 5 (01:23:22):
I got video of them, and I really hope the
algorithm brings me to the video that they took and
posted because towards the end of the song, like the
last chorus, they got down really really low and then
when it like popped off, they jumped.
Speaker 2 (01:23:34):
They were jumping around. I was like, I need to
see this video. It was so much fun for me
sent them out.
Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
My parents being there was really cool because they'd been
with me on this radio journey since I was seventeen,
so they've heard me talk about jingle Ball and they
seen videos, but they had them. There was a really
really cool moment. I think Dasha was amazing, literally up
and down. The whole lineup was fantastic. The pre show
free show with the Mattress Warehouse was amazing, as Andray
Rockstar mc kenna, Grace Rockstar. Anything you missed. We have
(01:24:02):
tons of photos, tons of video on the Instagram at
YMS Radio, Rose has the three things you need to know.
Speaker 2 (01:24:07):
Com on what you got for us? Honestly I forgot.
We're going to talk about TikTok.
Speaker 1 (01:24:11):
That's there. We go and then jingle artist Tat mcgrae
joins the show. First billion let me.
Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
Do this here real quick.

Speaker 3 (01:24:35):
Don't from the City that changes the world. Piers Rose
with three.
Speaker 1 (01:24:40):
Things you need to know for your post jingle Ball Wednesday,
Rose Chiapras.
Speaker 5 (01:24:44):
So as you know, TikTok is said to be banned
on January nineteen. The Less, a parent company by Dan
sells the social media site Well. Congress has also ordered
by the Way, Apple and Google to remove TikTok from
the US app stores by January nineteen, so it could
potentially leave sooner, and TikTok has asked the Supreme Court
(01:25:04):
to issue an emergency delay in the enforcement of that band.
A similar play was filed by content creators and some
of the over one hundred and seventy million users of
TikTok in the United States, and the TikTok teo has
met with President elect Donald Trump, but details of their
conversation were not released As of right now, the band
is still set for January nineteenth, so yes, Baltimore County
(01:25:25):
Police are investigating amaun of shooting that left one dead
and nine wounded in the Parkville community. Police reported to
responded to reports of multiple shots fired. Police a a
vehicle at the same crash overturn and caught fire outside
of the Johnson Funeral Home, and detectives believe that the
individuals involved knew each other. They're still trying to determine
(01:25:46):
what exactly led to the shooting and they're going to
be releasing.
Speaker 2 (01:25:48):
Information as it becomes available.
Speaker 5 (01:25:51):
And new federal rule bands junk fees on live event
tickets and hotels. So if you've ever bought a live
event ticket or booked a hotel, you know that there's
all these like pop up fees and you're like, what
is this the like can the convenience fees or the
resort fees. So the FDC has finalizing new federal rule
yesterday yesterday that will stop that, which is very nice.
(01:26:14):
The e FDC chairs said, whatever price you see is
a price you are paying at the end, and they
believe that it'll save consumers and estimated fifty three million
hours in time we sted trying to find the actual
total price of what they're buying, and around eleven billion
dollars in savings over the next decade.
Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
Damn decade. Thanks, I'm very happy about that.
Speaker 1 (01:26:37):
I'm rose.
Speaker 2 (01:26:38):
Those are the three things you know for the day.
Speaker 1 (01:26:39):
Thank you, ros, You're welcome. Let me go Amber, Good morning.
Speaker 8 (01:26:44):
Good morning?
Speaker 2 (01:26:44):
Are you?
Speaker 3 (01:26:45):
Oh well?
Speaker 6 (01:26:45):
Thank you?
Speaker 2 (01:26:46):
How is your Wednesday? It is great so far. What
are we doing for the day.
Speaker 20 (01:26:52):
We are currently nailing something.
Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
At Sedux, so thank you well a fantastic news. Got
you fifty dollars promotional card to a duncan.
Speaker 17 (01:27:02):
Okay, oh, thank you so much.
Speaker 4 (01:27:05):
Take you home.
Speaker 1 (01:27:05):
One second, get your info call okay, my man, my man,
one second. If you missed anything from last night, are
sold out? DC jingle Ball present by Capital One. We
got tons of it up on the Instagram at YMS Radio.
One of our favorite performers, Tate mcray on the show
Next It's Intern Johnny Morty Show, x Age Hot Night
(01:27:26):
five jingle Ball persent by Capra One with Tate mcray Tate, Hello, Hello, Greedy.
Officially number one most played song at radio this past year,
Crazy Let's Go So Wild? How many times have you
heard the song?
Speaker 21 (01:27:39):
Um?
Speaker 23 (01:27:40):
I mean probably waito many times? I play it every
night on Absolutely Yeah I'm on the radio. I don't
usually like hear it too much, but I my dad
says he hears.
Speaker 2 (01:27:51):
It like, that's awesome twenty times.
Speaker 1 (01:27:53):
Your dad a guy where it's like if he's out
somewhere and it's playing, goes, that's my daughter.
Speaker 2 (01:27:56):
Oh that's amazing. My grandparents are like that too, my dad,
at least my granddaughter. It's funny.
Speaker 1 (01:28:04):
Well, we're happy to have you back at jingle Ball,
and it's cool. I always say. The cool thing about
jingle Ball is you never know who the next big
superstar is going to be. We had you two years
ago and you're starting to take off now here. We
are massive star.
Speaker 18 (01:28:15):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
But you had to know, like this is obviously the plan, right,
you know you're good, you know you're talented. You had
no like this is building.
Speaker 23 (01:28:21):
I mean, I think all you can do is just
work as hard as you can and yeah, you know,
see a vision of some sort and see where that
takes you. And I feel very lucky to be in
this position again and to see so many great artists.
Speaker 2 (01:28:34):
It's cool.
Speaker 23 (01:28:34):
I mean, I'm enjoying it. I love everyone on my team.
I love performing these songs. That's been like a dream
come true.
Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
Well, as a Canadian I when you were growing up,
Sean was taken off, Bieber was taken off week and
unless you they had to be pretty cool as a
young Canadian artist to see like, oh, there's people from
Canada making it.
Speaker 23 (01:28:50):
Yeah, of course. I mean at that point, it didn't
even seem like a real goal. Like you're listening to
Justin Bieber and you're like, that isn't a real job.
You do what he does, Like, there's no chance that's real.
So it's pretty crazy to be on these stages.
Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
It's like somethime I can't even wrap my head around it.
Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
Killing album comes out in February. Yes, is it done?
Speaker 2 (01:29:13):
It is kind of.
Speaker 1 (01:29:16):
Is there a hard deadline of like okay, you really
can't add anything else?
Speaker 2 (01:29:20):
Kind of?
Speaker 23 (01:29:21):
I mean I always you can tweak it forever until
like I think it's like two weeks before.
Speaker 1 (01:29:26):
Oh really you can like tweak it. But yeah, it
sounds dangerous.
Speaker 23 (01:29:29):
Yeah, I mean it's the worst, Like I'll be picking
it apart until the day before.
Speaker 1 (01:29:33):
Well do you ever perform a song Now, I'm like, oh,
I wish I would have used this lyric and said
this one all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:29:39):
I mean, yeah, there's times that'll hear the song will
be out for like a year, and I'm like, can
I change the mix?
Speaker 23 (01:29:45):
And they're like why, Like I don't know, it's just
bugging me, like just certain things like tones in my
voice or things that I say, like yeah you can
just like drive you insanes.
Speaker 2 (01:29:56):
Sorry he's telling me switch with you. Oh no, nobody
saw it. Don't worry. It was very We're doing that again.
Speaker 6 (01:30:02):
Sure.
Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
Then the tour starts next year as well, which is
also the very exciting. Yeah, that kind of planned out.
As far as what we're doing routine wise and setless.
Speaker 23 (01:30:10):
Setless, we don't know yet. I mean we just put
the tour on sale like a month ago, I think
three weeks, so it's sold out in like a day,
which is so nuts. I mean yeah, I've just like
written in my journal like a million times like one
day I want to do an arena tour.
Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
So to be able to do that is like literally
so wild to me. I'm for sure. I'm so excited.
I'm so excited to see how we create the show,
how we build it. It'll be fun.
Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
Is it hard now to have to like whittle down
a setless because obviously, like now you have all these hits,
it's like, but you want to play the new stuff too,
but your fans want to hear all the old stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
Is that hard?
Speaker 8 (01:30:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:30:43):
It is hard.
Speaker 23 (01:30:43):
I think people don't understand like how much time you
sit in front of a computer and like see what
flows into the other And they're like, why didn't you
include this? And you're like I wanted to, like I
would do a six hours.
Speaker 2 (01:30:55):
I wouldn't.
Speaker 23 (01:30:56):
That sounds actually terrible, but like you, you want to
do all the songs, but it's just like what flows
and feels good really.
Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
I imagine to you because obviously you're a great dancer,
so the choreography has gotta be as on point as
the singing, right of.
Speaker 2 (01:31:09):
Course, And yeah, it gets really exhausting of their a
long time.
Speaker 1 (01:31:13):
Seep a question do you have make calories to burn
a show?
Speaker 2 (01:31:16):
Guest?
Speaker 23 (01:31:16):
You know what I've always wanted to put on like
an oral ring and see because sometimes we come out
when we want to puke and we're like this is
like a basketball player or a football player.
Speaker 10 (01:31:25):
Like yeah, like your stress levels like when you're dancing
and everything, yeah the whole time.
Speaker 1 (01:31:31):
Okay, Well, so Shelby has one of the rings and
she tells me, oh, yeah, walking.
Speaker 10 (01:31:36):
To work at five, and I'm like, oh, it's spikes.
Every time I see you i walk in, I see
the same cool stressed I'll look like when I get
home that night, I'm like, I don't know, five am
the studio.
Speaker 2 (01:31:52):
That's crazy, That's what that is.
Speaker 1 (01:31:55):
Yeah, is it hard to I mean we live in
time now where you can record today if you want to,
You could literally record a song today. Do you ever
tell yourself, like I need to take a day off
of not doing anything writing anything music and just rain
rot a little bit.
Speaker 23 (01:32:11):
You know, you try as much as you can to
the problem is is music is everywhere and everything, and yeah,
especially to like musicians and all my friends, Like all
we think about is music twenty four to seven, So
it is hard to like escape it. Sometimes I'm like,
tell me about like what's going on in sports or
something that I'm like, give me like a refresher.
Speaker 1 (01:32:32):
I just need to know something else other than music.
When you Megan Roni shared the stage recently.
Speaker 2 (01:32:37):
That she's amazing. Ah, she's so incredible.
Speaker 1 (01:32:40):
Could we deal a country like Canadian country?
Speaker 4 (01:32:42):
One day?
Speaker 2 (01:32:42):
You think you know what, I would love to do
a song with her one day. She's so talented.
Speaker 1 (01:32:47):
Last question I have because in the common world, if
sometimes we'll see a person we haven't seen a while,
go hey we should really hang out. Yeah, it just
doesn't happen with artists like hey we should really collaborate,
and then you both know like it's probably just I
mean always that's fair. Tate mcray backstage, Hot nighty nine
five jingle Ball present by Capital One. Thank you for coming.
Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
Thank you guys, nice to see you.
Speaker 1 (01:33:09):
We didn't say that. It's DC jingle Ball Artists. Tate
McRae huge, thanks her for being on the show as
well as she absolutely destroyed everything in any good way.
She was a fantastic last night. You missed anything from her.
We have tons of photos, tons of video up at
YMS Radio on everything. I also gotta think Mashtros coming
(01:33:29):
in today. They are so good, so stinking good. So
a couple of things about Mashros. They're gonna be open
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well as New Year's
Eve with special hours, so that's really really cool. Also,
if you're not gonna dine in, they do butcher block options.
You can get their raw steaks like yeah, you can
do door to ash, grub Hub, uberrees or just pick
(01:33:52):
them up. They also send it with cooking instructions for
you getting to go. But they sent us the whole gambit.
We had the steak, I had the truffle butter. I
could have just eaten it was my doctor's listening, no
you're not. No's Also is there bone marrow butter too?
There was bone marrow butter, and then there was a
wago butter.
Speaker 2 (01:34:08):
Oh wow, it's good. And the cakes and the hay
lime pie.
Speaker 5 (01:34:14):
I usually don't go for key lime pie, but that
was the best key lime pie I've ever had.
Speaker 2 (01:34:19):
And the crust on that I could eat that all day.
It's so good.
Speaker 1 (01:34:22):
You can get them the located in the district can
get them Mashros Restaurants dot com or on Instagram Mashros Official. Huge.
Thanks again Mashros Steakhouse. We appreciate you everything. Jingle Ball,
our special correspondent Hoodie has it next hang on. I
just want to say to you real quick, thank you
(01:34:44):
to everyone who said hi yesterday. Are sold out DC.
Jingle Ball present by Capital One, whether it's at the
pre show, free show Mattress Warehouse or at jingle Ball.
The highlight for us has always seen you at meeting
you in person, especially if you're on the show. I
met a woman who she had won tickets or something
else because we talked about like the weird thing you're
ex did her ex used to go to the bathroom
(01:35:06):
in the shower and not the one that's easy to
go down. He would push it through. So always a
pleasure to put the face to the name.
Speaker 2 (01:35:16):
Let me do this.
Speaker 1 (01:35:20):
Our special jingle Ball consultant Andrew Hoodie with the entertainment
apart what you got for.
Speaker 11 (01:35:25):
It jingle Ball it was. It all started off with
our pre show free show, which was dope. McKenna Grace
actually kicked it off really dope. If you don't know
who she is, she actually has been the lead for
the new Ghostbusters movies that came out recently.
Speaker 2 (01:35:40):
She killed it.
Speaker 11 (01:35:41):
She probably has a ton of new music coming out
next year. So you can relive all that. At YMS
Radio and our socials, the cool thing was crowd was
hyped as hell the pre show free show which is
at District. He also had Dasha Edison Ray was there too.
People were actually line dance in the dash up.
Speaker 2 (01:35:57):
Yeah. Uh.
Speaker 11 (01:35:59):
And then later on in the show at Capitol Arena,
Teddy Swims actually performed without shoes on, which was fun
to see those photos, which it makes sense to be
comfy when you're doing your thing. And then I mean,
Eric has his fuck his shoes off right now anyway,
so cross facts his.
Speaker 2 (01:36:15):
Stinks in there.
Speaker 11 (01:36:16):
He also gave his hat away a young fan sit
in the front row, which was a cute moment. You
can see that on our socials as well. And the
fun thing was he just had a bouncy ball backstage.
He was just like kind of like his fidget toy
or whatever. It did hit the when it bounced to
me and I picked it up and bounced it back
towards him.
Speaker 2 (01:36:33):
That was fun. Yeah.
Speaker 11 (01:36:34):
And then Chris Olsen, you know, I'm from TikTok, Megan
Trainer's bestie, did make a surprise appearance last night. He
helped Megan Trainer close out her set. It was her
last concert of the year, so it's really cool they
all were together again. Her husband Darryl Sabar was also there.
Fun thing for him yesterday was that Yesterday's Spy Kids
was inducted into the National Film Registry. That's also it's
(01:36:55):
really cool is if you don't know what that is.
It's movies that represent culture and needed preserved till the
end of time. Cinderella was inducted like ten years ago,
so it'd Cinderella Spikey.
Speaker 2 (01:37:07):
That it should be.
Speaker 11 (01:37:08):
If you're looking for something to watch tonight, what we
do in the Shadows. The series finales this week. It
has multiple endings, so based on I think you're Hulu loggin,
it could be a different ending than ask your friend
watched it. The latest episode Skeleton Crew, the new Star
Wars show is out, and then if you want to
relive last night or do you want to watch it
for the first time because we talked about it and
(01:37:29):
hyped you up for it. The iHeartRadio jingle Ball twenty
twenty four Tour special airs tonight on ABC and we'll
be on Hulu tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:37:36):
Thanks.
Speaker 1 (01:37:36):
Hu's by everything from jingle Ball two. We have it
up on the socials at YMS Radio. Speaking of jingle Ball,
one of our favorites from last night, Gracie Abram, is
gonna be on the show in minutes. Since intern Johnny
Morning Show of Miles Smith backstage Hot Night They I
FI jingle Ball Present by Capital One with Gracie Abrams.
Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
Hey girls, Hey girl, are you doing well? How are
you guys doing well?
Speaker 1 (01:37:57):
You're twenty twenty four crazy? I did arenas, did s
and L did stadiums. What do we do in twenty
twenty five?
Speaker 2 (01:38:05):
Take a nap, take a long nap.
Speaker 1 (01:38:07):
No, no naps.
Speaker 2 (01:38:09):
Sleep when you're dad type.
Speaker 1 (01:38:14):
We're not. But do you have plans? I mean, I
know you've not some dates for a tour next year.
Do we think there's gonna be?
Speaker 22 (01:38:20):
I mean we're touring like pretty much all next year,
starting the first week of February. So it's it's go time,
non stop really and just writing a lot of music
as much as I want that.
Speaker 1 (01:38:32):
The album full of bangers, blow and smoke. My favorite
breakup song.
Speaker 2 (01:38:34):
Of all time? What that is such a compliment?
Speaker 4 (01:38:37):
Thank you?
Speaker 1 (01:38:37):
Okay, aside from your own songs? What's the best breakup
song of all time?
Speaker 4 (01:38:41):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:38:41):
I Can't Make You Love Me? Oh yeah? Okay, yeah, okay, sure, okay.
Speaker 1 (01:38:45):
I mean I think the whole album is sick, right,
So writing songs very vulnerable thing where I'm sure you
probably feel like nobody knows what I'm going through. And
then you put the song out, you get in stage,
everybody's singing it back to you. Does it make you
feel kind of like one with the audience in a
way completely?
Speaker 22 (01:38:59):
I think it's like the thing that I've you know,
I value the most now doing this job, which doesn't
ever feel like a job, but like being able to
find community with people that you don't know personally, but
all of a sudden, you like realize that we've all
gone through the same you know what I mean, And
it's it's a really magical gift that my audience has
given me over the past few years. And I think
especially honestly that this run of jingle ball shows has
(01:39:23):
been so wildly loud that I have felt it almost
more than ever before, just in the past few weeks.
So it's a real privilege to be here with them
and with all of you.
Speaker 1 (01:39:32):
Well, it's gotta be cool to see like little girls
singing back like you are, Like there, idle that's got
the really cool feeling.
Speaker 22 (01:39:38):
I know what it feels like to be a young
girl and have like the biggest feelings in the world.
So I feel, you know, honored that they feel safe
enough to express themselves and at our shows.
Speaker 1 (01:39:50):
Speaking of feelings, what do we feel about gift cards
for Christmas? Gift cards to a place in general? Yeah,
or an Amazon or whatever it is.
Speaker 2 (01:39:57):
It can be the right thing for the right person.
Speaker 22 (01:40:01):
I would say, like I was just you can get
like you can get it a gift card that isn't
like a throwaway gift.
Speaker 1 (01:40:08):
Do you think I think the food ones? Yeah, let
me ask what's your most embarrassing food delivery order? And
we don't judge? Here is we get taco bell past
midnight and it's sad.
Speaker 22 (01:40:17):
Most embarrassing food delivery or I feel like I've postmated
like cereal boxes from grocery stores before and that's like
an unnecessary mood, you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (01:40:27):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:40:27):
I don't know what's embarrassing. What do we get?
Speaker 1 (01:40:29):
I'll put notes like it's for a family of four,
Oh wow, yeah total.
Speaker 2 (01:40:34):
I've ordered room service and they're like for how many people?
I'm like three. It's like no, they bring like three yeah,
three forks and I'm like, no, it's one of me. Bartia.
Speaker 1 (01:40:46):
Is it hard to turn it off? Because I imagine
obviously you're very talented musically, do you have a hard
time turning off and like, Okay, let's not write, let's
not record they let's just do something else.
Speaker 2 (01:40:55):
I feel like I get a little bit restless quite easily.
Speaker 22 (01:41:00):
But I was just thinking about this over Christmas break
because I'm like, We've got like a handful of days
with no work, and I'm like, how well I already
started getting the like anticipatory restlessness. But I think I'm
just trying to like fill my time with things that
are creative outlets that are not me, just to like
as a challenge to myself. I'm like, what does it
look like to do things that are like generative that
(01:41:20):
is not touring or writing music?
Speaker 2 (01:41:22):
And just to see. But I'll keep you posted.
Speaker 1 (01:41:24):
Talk with Gracy Abrams. A final question, what's the most
proud gift you've given somebody. We're not even like money wise,
but I nailed this one.
Speaker 2 (01:41:33):
My ex boyfriend.
Speaker 22 (01:41:35):
I got him like a rep like a miniature replica
of the studio that like we made, like that he
makes everything up that we made all our music together,
and it was like to the tiniest detail is so say,
great guest.
Speaker 2 (01:41:50):
Thank you for having me.
Speaker 1 (01:41:52):
