four six A one.

Speaker 5 (01:09):
I'd like to start today. Yes, okay, big day.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Valentine's Day also Chewy's birthday, so she would have been
sixteen today, which he'd been.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Able to drive, which is very exciting.

Speaker 6 (01:19):
Crazy.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
He hated his birthday, but I know if he was
here he would want you listening to have two dozen eggs.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
But he would be also upset if we didn't acknowledge
his birthday.

Speaker 5 (01:29):
He's very much like his dad in that way.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
He did love eggs.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
He did, actually he really did. He really saw his
mom and make sure the eggs and stew. If you
want two dozen eggs call me eight seven seven nine
ninety five four six A one. I have some other
stuff I want to do today for his birthday, but
did a little bit later on. But if you want
the eggs, that's number one. That gift is worth his
weight in gold.

Speaker 6 (01:50):
That's worth a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Same. Yes, and yesterday for me, very big day. So
I've been coaching high school hockey. We had the playoffs.
It kept getting pushed back and pushback. We played there
are big ride school. Yesterday the boys won, so today
they played for the conference championship for the first time
in like five years.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
That is so exciting, very excited because you text me
last night about it and they played Landing right yes,
and I was I'm not gonna lie. I was like, oh, okay,
all right, but congrats, that's so cool.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Yeah. They we went up to nothing early on. I
was like, okay, this is going well.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yeah, and then land you ti to the third I'm like,
all right, not as well, and then we scored two
right away.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
I was like, they did it.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
No.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
You literally text me yesterday before the game and you
were like no tonight, like it's gonna happen, We're gonna win.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
And then you won. I was like, you manifested. Well.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
The best is so you can watch the games like
there's a live stream of it. So I always text
my parents like, hey, we're on this rink this time.
Here's the color. My mom must have misunderstood me, because
after the game, she texted me damn and I was like, Peggy,
we won, Like we won.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
The game watching different games.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
No, I think she's.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Watching ours, but she is like confused the colors even
though we're blue and they're like diarrhea brown. It is
it's not necessarily go. It's like it's kind of like
that mercy.

Speaker 5 (03:07):
No, mom, we won?

Speaker 6 (03:08):
Just okay?

Speaker 5 (03:08):
Good Were you rooting against us not even knowing it?

Speaker 6 (03:11):
Maybe like the life like maybe the video is weird.
I know, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
I know, parents so very exciting. So tonight championship game
and then I have a hot date me and our
friend Shane going to SmackDown.

Speaker 7 (03:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
So a busy day Valentine Valentine's Day?

Speaker 5 (03:32):
Real quick, let me go? Is it?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Uh, Mallory, there we go, Mallory, good morning.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Good morning.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Are you a fan of eggs?

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Eggs?

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Well, guess what, girl, I got two dozen eggs for you. Yes,
I'm gonna put you a whole one second. Okay, thank
you one second. I saw sage with you the last
one for hours.

Speaker 6 (04:01):
So I would.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
I don't know if you've heard of the Gratitude Journal,
and it's something that when you wake up in the morning,
you fill it out. You have like three things that
can make your day great, or like three things that
you're thankful grateful for. You have your little manifestations, like
two things that you're manifesting, or your affirmations. Actually starts affirmations,
and then you also write what will make your day great?

(04:25):
Like for me this morning when I woke up, you know,
I wrote down like, oh, like, I'm so grateful that
I woke up today.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
You know, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
It's supposed to help with your mindset and everything, so
especially like this time of year, if you have seasonal depression,
you're a little depressed, you like you know I am.
It helps you know, be grateful for things you don't
really think about all the time. So I like, I've
been starting my day with that for the last few
weeks again, and I've had this book for like two years,
so I have only filled up like halfway because I'm
not consistent at all anyway. So for things that would
make my day great, I said, you know, a great

(04:54):
workout which I'm going to Solid Court today and burn
boot camp, so I'm gonna have two. And then I
wrote surprise flowers was my last thing, because I was like,
what if I got some surprise flowers this year, Like
that'd be fun. And then I also wrote, you know,
just having a good day work. So those three things
so hopefully, like John, don't make me mad, I'm just kidding, Okay,
I'm joking.

Speaker 6 (05:13):
I'm joking. I'm joking.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
But so I literally like wrote that this morning when
I woke up at like three thirty and I leave
to go to work at four thirty, and I had
this vase with flowers outside my front door.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
Oh my god, scary. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
So there are two crocheted flowers. One is pink or
red if you want us to call it that, and
the other's blue. And the thing says love you are
my sweetheart. And then there's a note, a note note,
and it says Happy Valentine's Day. These are crocheted flowers,
so they never die. One blue, one red. I hope
you enjoy from your secret admirer.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Is there like a reason why they notified? It's one
blue and one red.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
It means means something, and it's written the one red
is written in red.

Speaker 5 (06:00):
Yeah, and the blue is written blue.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
So it's an easter egg.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Well, it's gotta be something that you have, an inside
joke or something.

Speaker 6 (06:07):
I don't think.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
So the handwriting look familiar to you, No, it just
looks like every guy. Sorry, it looks pretty much like
guy's handwriting.

Speaker 9 (06:14):
It's a nice secret admirer last year too.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Yeah, and I never figured out who it was last
year either, the same person. And blue is my favorite color,
so I don't know if maybe that's why they got
me the blue one and you read the notes, so
maybe that's the red the red because of Valentine.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
I don't know. So I don't know who it is.

Speaker 9 (06:30):
They made the crochet flowers or they thought.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
I think they bought them because they came these sleeves
with this well, I mean it's just a sleeve, but
so that the sleeve says love you are my sweet.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
There is no dude that could crochet.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
No.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
I mean I try and date Shelby. What nobody you're
trying to date? That's I'm saying, Okay, of all the
guys now in.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
Them crochet, no, I don't think.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
Okay, So going based on history then.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
I just don't know who it would be.

Speaker 4 (06:59):
So so uh yeah, and they know they obviously know
where I live though, so that's concerning.

Speaker 5 (07:05):
Yeah. I think the one red and one blue is
something I.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Don't know what. I don't know what that could be.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Got a call if you know somebody, YE know, was
your last twenty four hours? What's going on?

Speaker 8 (07:17):
Luckily I was able to take a nap after work
yesterday because I was a strung.

Speaker 9 (07:22):
I was on the struggle bus.

Speaker 8 (07:23):
Feeling much better today, which is great. And I am
going through and this is such like a tedious task
going through my subscriptions, like all of the subscriptions that
I have, and kind of trying to dwindle them down
because times are tight right now, and all of these
subscription services are going up in price, which is like

(07:45):
sew up fun. So that's kind of what I've been
up to. And I feel like it's never ending because
I didn't realize how much I was subscribed to.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
Yeah, it's yeah, I did that a few months ago.

Speaker 8 (07:57):
It's it's like, oh, have I been wasting all of
this money for all of this time?

Speaker 6 (08:02):
Yes, I forgot to cancel it. Yes, I forgot to.

Speaker 9 (08:05):
Cancel a lot col Wow.

Speaker 8 (08:08):
Hopefully, hopefully the bank account will start going up a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
That is always the hope. I've been waiting for that day.
I'm waiting for that adult bank account to kick in. Yeah,
really real quick. Happy fourteenth birthday of Brandon from Walton
Middle School Walt Whitman Middle School. There it is, but
Braidon happy fourteenth birthday. Hopefully you get to stay up
and have some Mountain Dew and play some Fortnite lin

(08:32):
later and.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
Oh yeah, yeah everyone, You're fourteen.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Pe Tonight dude has some zob Braiden and has to
find a Walt Whitman Middle School. Appreciate you listening. Rose
has the three things in detail come out, you got
for Us?

Speaker 9 (08:44):
TikTok is back back, do it.

Speaker 5 (08:46):
Less than three minutes. Sunny Turns, Johnny Marty Show from.

Speaker 10 (08:50):
The City that Changes the World. Peers Rose with three
things you need to.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Know for your Friday, Rose, you got for Us.

Speaker 8 (08:57):
The National Transportation Safety Board is holding a briefing to
give more information about the deadly mid air collision You're Reagan,
So today's briefing will likely include transcripts or partial transcripts
from the cockpit voice recorded recorders recovered after the crash.

Speaker 9 (09:12):
Information from the flight data.

Speaker 8 (09:14):
Recorders may also be released, and that briefing is scheduled
to be at two pm today. Kids and teens are
once again getting a curfew in National Harbor in Maryland
on Fridays and Saturdays is according to PG County Police,
so that new rule goes into effect today. At five pm,
and the curfew lasts from five pm to five am

(09:34):
on Fridays and Saturdays. So police announce a curfew yesterday,
saying an increasing number of unaccompanied juveniles led to businesses
and residents to request the restriction. So while it's in effect,
anyone under the age of eighteen will need to be
with a parent or a guardian, and it's unclear how
long that's gonna remain in effect, but kids caught breaking

(09:55):
the curfew will first get a warning, then a written
notice sent to parents before being fine, And those fines
start a fifty dollars, but they go up to two
hundred and fifty dollars, so just be aware of that.
And Apple and Google have returned TikTok to the mobile
app stores in the US, ending a nearly month long
standoff since the law banning the app took effect in January.

Speaker 9 (10:18):
So if you got a new phone or.

Speaker 8 (10:20):
You deleted the app, you can now re download it,
and TikTok can send software updates. But yesterday the administration
assured Apple and Google that they would not be fined
for allowing download of TikTok, and Trump also expressed confidence
to reporters yesterday that a deal can be completed within
the seventy five day extension or beyond.

Speaker 9 (10:39):
So I guess the plan is to buy TikTok, but China.

Speaker 8 (10:41):
Has TikTok has said many times.

Speaker 9 (10:45):
That they're not interested in SOT.

Speaker 8 (10:46):
I don't know what's going to happen, but it seems
like it's going in the right direction for TikTok to today. Yeah,
I'm ros those are the three things need to know
for today.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome, saus in your expert opinion,
can Valentine say make or break a relationship?

Speaker 4 (11:01):
I mean, I guess if you're on you're already having issues,
I think it could definitely break it. If you're if
like someone just isn't giving any efforts to the relationship,
then they don't do anything that day.

Speaker 6 (11:12):
Sure, I think it just depends what.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
Was your thoughts.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
I agree.

Speaker 8 (11:16):
I think if it's the beginning of a relationship, it
can definitely make it. And then if it's like you're
towards the end, possibly it could be the deal breaker.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Yeah, so they talk to folks about the actual day
in our overall thoughts. So for seventeen percent of Americans
in a serious relationship, this Valentine's Day feels especially crucial
for their relationship. Doesn't say why. I mean, maybe because
things are somewhat back to normal and you got through
the stress of the pandemic. Maybe maybe that's why three

(11:45):
and ten say this year's holiday is a much need
boost for their love lives.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
Okay, sure it could also be nice every day.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
Yeah, yeah out there yep.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Men more likely I feel their relationship needs a Valentine's
Say boost than women. Oh okay, I think dudes feel
the pressure. Yeah, the pressure.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
It feels like it's solely put on the dudes.

Speaker 6 (12:04):
I don't disagree.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
They say they're talking about the right Mount cub Right.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Twenty eight percent say give Valentine's Day shouldn't cost anything
at all.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
Okay, I mean I don't just screw with that either.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
But that also means that seventy two percent say it
should cause money.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
I mean it's all just about like effort, Like you
can make an effort with stuff that you have at home.

Speaker 2 (12:22):
Yeah, I guess, Like if it makes you happy, are
you mad because the outside world's going to look down
on you? Are you mad because you're disappointed personally with
what happened?

Speaker 5 (12:31):
Do you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (12:31):
I think it's all about like intention when it comes
to Valentine's Day, and it doesn't necessarily have to cost money.
It's more about just feeling that togetherness love effort on
both sides though it's not just men that need to
put an effort, though I agree.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
I guess to that point too. I don't think Valentine's
Day should necessarily bail you out, because then it's like
what happens tomorrow?

Speaker 6 (12:50):
Though, Yeah, you've had one nice day, you.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Turn it off until the birthday. Yeah, you know what
I mean. I don't disagree. According to the average respond
you spend one hundred and thirty three dollars her person
for a good holiday, which covers food, gifts, and activities.

Speaker 5 (13:04):
Okay, I mean one thirty three. I guess sure.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
What activities, but yeah, that's I mean if it's each though,
so I guess two sixty total basically, but that's yeah,
I mean parking downtown, getting downtown and dinners probably got
running two hundred dollars, you.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
Can always do something. They'll like top golf, where you
just do it all at once combine. I mean top
golf is expensive though, yeah, literally everything else everything's expensive.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
Now, forty percent say a good Valentine's Say can be
enjoy for less than one hundred dollars each. Sure, more
than half of those in relationships planning to spend about
the same amount they spent last year. Nineteen percent expect
to spend less, twelve percent say they'll spend more, and
then thirty two percent are deliberately not spending for Valentine's
say to save money. Okay, I also think that's a
fair thing to do too.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Yeah, I mean if you if you just do something
cute together at home, that's not that's I still like that.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Well, and there's so much stuff on like Pinterest that
you can like make like we'll pride like Michael's and
get like the balsa wood and like put a photograph
on there or something like that where I think you
can do it without Yeah.

Speaker 8 (14:07):
Also, I will tell you this because Clinton has done
this for me.

Speaker 9 (14:10):
A simple love letter goes a lot, Yeah, a long way.

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Yes, just don't chat GBT it.

Speaker 9 (14:17):
No, you know what I'm saying, Authentic from your heart.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Yes, use lyrics and songs. I mean, if you yeah, sure,
if you're horning, let's do it.

Speaker 9 (14:27):
I'm like, okay, don't want that, got it my pony?

Speaker 11 (14:30):
No?

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Okay, okay, Well back to the drying board. We want
to get you some money. Intern John in your Morning Shows,

Speaker 2 (15:03):
Everything Celebrity Sauce has or Entertainment part coming next.

Speaker 5 (15:06):
What you got for us?

Speaker 6 (15:07):
I've got an update on the Legally Blonde prequel.

Speaker 12 (15:09):
Hey sorry, I literally said it off the air.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
We can't bring it up now, Sauce goes.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
What my heapes were in?

Speaker 9 (15:37):
Bring what up?

Speaker 6 (15:38):
We were just singing to each other. That's fun.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Okay, it's a long story. It's a long story.

Speaker 6 (15:46):
I was reliving my twenty first birthday for no reason.

Speaker 2 (15:49):
Yeah, let's it's not even worth trying it back.

Speaker 13 (15:54):
God, that was.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Everything celebrity sauce has or entertainment apart what you got
for us.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
After an exhaustive surch the pre cool series for legally
Sorry for leg Lee Blonde has has lead to actress
I'm sorry, I'm trying so hard to laugh anyway.

Speaker 6 (16:09):
So finally, like we've been talking.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
About how they've been looking, they did a nationwide open
casting call. Hundreds of actresses did submit videos to try
to be in the prequel, and now Leximin Tree has
been cast for the role of Elle Woods.

Speaker 6 (16:22):
And it was actually really cool because basically Reese Witherspoon, she's.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Very involved in the project project of course, so she
put a whole clip out on Instagram talking about how
she found Lexi and it's really cute, and she does
look so much like her.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
She sounds like her, and she looks like an Instagram
filter of like the younger version of you.

Speaker 5 (16:39):
Literally it's like whoa.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
Literally, So basically it's gonna follow el Woods during her
high school years before she went off to Harvard. I
am so excited because I mean, we all grew up
watching lee Le Blonde the movie. This will be a series,
like I said, but you probably have seen Lexi on
Law and Order SVU or maybe the TV movies like
the Murdoch Murders, which we've talked about that here as well.
But el will premiere on Prime Video. Date has not

(17:01):
been determined yet, but yeah, get excited. Get excited. And
wolf Trap they the wolf Trap Foundation of the for
the Performing Arts. They announced their performers for the twenty
twenty five summer season. Wolf Trap is such a great
venue for summer in general. It's like Merriweather but smaller.
I'd say, yeah, yeah, super fun. But Cynthia Arrivo, did
I say that right?

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Rivo? I think I said right.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
Sorry, I always say her last name wrong, and I'm
so sorry, Cynthia. But Cynthia Rivo. She's gonna be there
September seventh, which is so exciting.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
You know.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
Wicked, It's I know it came out last year technically,
but I do feel like it's the movie of.

Speaker 6 (17:33):
The year, so because it was like late last year.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, so I definitely think it was the
movie of the year that I haven't seen it yet,
but I will.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
I will.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
But anyway, the lineup for wolf Trap this summer is
pretty great, pretty great, So I'm gonna say because James
Blunt will be there also James Arthur. So if you
want to check out the entire lineup, we would be
here all day. If I told you everybody that I
was excited about wolf Trap dot org slash calendar. They
there's so many great acts that are going to be there.
You can also if you are a Wooktrap member, you
have access to pretail ticket tickets now and then also

(18:06):
the tickets for Cynthia Arrivo. They will go on sale
at the beginning of next week, so make sure on
Monday you check that out. And I thought this was
kind of weird, but I want to talk about it
because I've been seeing it on on TikTok, Twitter and Instagram,
and when it makes it sway to Instagram, you know
that you've been sitting on something that you missed out,
you know. So Shakira, she kicked off her Rio tour

(18:27):
this week and her new tour in Rio Sorry this week,
and fans are now starting to put similarities between Beyonce's
once tour in Shakira's tour, which literally just started this week.
So one thing, she has a huge scream with an
image of her on it, plus her name and the
title of her tour no way, which I don't think
that's weird at all. So I will not even try

(18:47):
to say the name of the tour because I cannot
speak Spanish whatsoever or Portuguese.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
Sorry, I don't finish Spanish.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
I thought it was Spanish Spanish, but if it's in Brazil,
it doesn't matter. So it says it means women don't
cry anymore, is what the tour name means. Beyonce did
something similar for her tour, apparently putting a picture of
herself with the tourname and then she has a very
big metallic wolf prop which it's Shakira. We know that
she does that at her concerts with the Wolves.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
Yeah the wolves. Uh.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
So people are now saying Beyonce had a giant silver horse,
so that's too similar. Shakira was wearing silver. Beyonce wore silver.
She also asked the audience to wars silver. She's a
Burgo and that's like her color. But yeah, people are
asking Beyonce to sue Shakira, and I'm like, what are
we doing?

Speaker 2 (19:27):
Yeah, and sure, Shakira thought, Hey, Beyonce, it's the bigger
sid in the world. Let me be her thing.

Speaker 7 (19:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (19:32):
Also, fan groups are way too involved. Yeah, come on,
why do you care? We're ruining it for everybody else.
Like she's already threw enough stuff with the taxes and everything. Like,
let's listen to the divorce.

Speaker 6 (19:46):
Let her live.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Yeah, come on, just leave her. Leave Shakirolone. All right,
we're the same size. We can barely touch, like the
top shelf, like we got her dump.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
I love Shira. She's phenomenal.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Okay, Anyway, I feel like for something to watch this weekend.

Speaker 4 (20:37):
Sorry, sorry, dog, I know you love That's your favorite food.

Speaker 6 (20:40):
So the Gorge.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
It's a sci fi horror film with Miles Teller and
Anya Taylor Joy This. I don't like horror films, but
I've been looking forward to this because the just all
this the pressed horror has made it look so good. Anyway, Sorry,
that's out today on Apple TV Plus and then White
Lotus season three is.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Out on HBO Max's Weekend.

Speaker 5 (21:01):
There's a lot there.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
There's so much too impas two things real quick, Severn's
you haven't watched. They've done a great job of marketing.
Remember they had the pop up at Grand Central station
with the office space. They actually made a LinkedIn for
the company in the show, and they've this past week
they started putting out recruitment videos. He bought which is
really funny. But Love is Blind Minneapolis is also gonna
hilarious because literally everybody in Minnesota knows each other. Yeah, somehow.

(21:26):
So there's no way, like through six years separation they
don't know each other somehow.

Speaker 8 (21:29):
Yeah, there's like in the trailer, one of the women's like,
I believe this man knew what I looked like.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
Yeah. Oh, it's a very small city.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
So my personal trainer from Atlanta, he knew when I
moved up here to DC. He moved to Minneapolis for
his job, and he like. One of the first pictures
he posted was an outing with like friends he'd met
through his job. And one of my best friends was like, wow,
he's hanging out with my college roommate.

Speaker 6 (21:55):
Yeah, because she went to college and wiscontent.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
Yeah. Like so everything that watches up.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
If you need someone to listen to you and your
thought shower podcasts out today talk about Chewy's birthday, you
can listen YMSS radio dot com. Let me get to
this next for your Friday, especially because it's Valentine's say.
These are the biggest red flags on a first date.
Give me four minutes. It is Valentine's say. I want
to get to this. According to dating experts, these are

(22:22):
the biggest red flags on a first date. Okay, we'll
let you know somebody's bad person. Okay, I think we
talked earlier this week, but Valentine's Day for our first date.
I think we all kind of agree that's kind of
like kind of fun.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Thing to do. Yeah, I think, yeah, it's kind of
like a fun icebreaker.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Yeah, as long as you embrace the fact that it's
Valentine's Say, and you don't know each.

Speaker 6 (22:38):
Other and we don't have to be weird about it.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
I've noticed that a lot of my friends that are
just casually dating people that they're like, why are things
off with these people?

Speaker 6 (22:47):
But I think it's.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
Because they've been going on dates with them and it's
coming up to the holiday. Yeah, so they're not trying
to like make it seem like they're in law with them. Maybe,
But then if it's a first date, that just makes
it funny.

Speaker 6 (22:59):
It makes it fun.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
It's perfect icebreaker.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
Yeah, because then like when the waiters like, how long
you guys been together? But two hours?

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Yeah, because Hilan, two years ago, I went on a
first day on Valentine's Day and that's what we did.
When the waitress was like, oh my gosh, like is
like how long have you been together?

Speaker 6 (23:15):
And we're like, h we met like an hour ago.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Yeah, and it's pretty special. Yeah, we planned a whole life.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
I was like, we already planned our wedding.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
Yeah, I did. The waitress you'll be there.

Speaker 6 (23:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
So the first sign is overreacting. Okay, so they say
we all overreact.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Yeah, when you're the first getting knows somebody and their
response is something you said is extreme, it's tall turn off.

Speaker 6 (23:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
Like I went on a first date once where we
were at we were going to top Golf and it
was on Tuesdays. And this is when I lived in Georgia,
and I don't know if they do it here, but
Tuesdays are discounted, and there was something an issue with
our system that shut the system down so they couldn't
get us in and they were literally calling headquarters because
they'd never seen anything like it before. And the guy
that I was going on first date with made such

(23:58):
a big deal, and he was trying a joke also
to make it kind of funny, but also being serious
at the same time.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
It was so embarrassing, Yeah, because it's like, dude, they're
clearly doing their best.

Speaker 6 (24:08):
Yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, it was very embarrassing.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
I would also say too for getting food and you
overreact with somebody orders if they ask, oh no bun, you're.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
Like, oh okay, you hate trees and wheat or whatever.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
I said tree.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Sorry, this one's kind of obvious being rude to the waiter.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
Yeah, that's such a reply.

Speaker 5 (24:31):
Uh say, No one wants their date to be rude
of the waite staff. A lot of people.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
It's the very thing that takes date from decent to disasters.

Speaker 6 (24:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:40):
I want to do with a friend once that I've
known since I was a kid, and he was really
mean to the server for no reason.

Speaker 6 (24:47):
He kept yelling for ketchup. I'll just never forget that.

Speaker 16 (24:50):
Well.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Also, like it makes you feel awkward too because you're
sitting there and like, oh, like I'm getting judged because
I'm with you.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
I'm like, I don't know this guy. You apologize for
that other person literally.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
And also they're gonna spit in your food.

Speaker 6 (25:03):
Now exactly, It's just it's not necessary.

Speaker 2 (25:05):
Yeah, keep them playing and send the food back. I'm
sure they won't be annoyed with you. Yeah, that's gonna
be really good. But hey, just spitting their food, please
please not mine. Not sharing made the red flags list.

Speaker 6 (25:16):
What does that mean though?

Speaker 2 (25:17):
So they say being a bad share has been frowned
upon since preschool on dates nine different, especially when there's
drinks involved. Okay, okay, now they're saying if you don't
like if you order a whole bottle or something for yourself,
So yeah.

Speaker 9 (25:32):
That would be a weird.

Speaker 8 (25:32):
Look like if you order an appetizer for yourself and
at the table, that would be very.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
Weird's that's a good point, being Eric move, I was like, what,
I don't want to share your food on the first daid.

Speaker 8 (25:42):
Yeah, there's not many things that I would want to
share on a first day, but if it is like
something that is meant to be shared, then yeah, that would.

Speaker 6 (25:48):
Be a weird. Baptizer would be weird.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Yeah, but I would also say to not sharing even
just like emotionally if you're not like anything too. But
all right, am I just yeah, I'm just talking. Are
you like, actually is this an interview?

Speaker 4 (26:02):
If you're just kind of very like yes and no
answering or just yeah, sure I did that, very closed
off did that one time?

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Well improvably we call it yes, And so it's like
you continue the conversation. Okay, it's nothing worse. It feels
like it's a text conversation. I don't disagree or like
an email. It's like I respond to the question.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
Sometimes on days so I'll say, are you going to
give me more than that?

Speaker 6 (26:26):
Or should I just make up a story in my head?

Speaker 4 (26:29):
Of course you do, because there's some things I'll ask
a question about and like, I mean, yeah, okay, try
to make that up in my head.

Speaker 6 (26:36):
Then what happened?

Speaker 2 (26:37):
I told you I was on the day of the
girl and she asked what my brother was like, and
I was like, I don't really know what to say.
I was like, he's my brother, Like yeah, sorry.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
If I asked what your brother was like and you're like,
I don't know, he's my brother, I'd be like, all right,
I'm just gonna go.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
But like very concerned dude. I'm like, he works in
obviously known him his entire life.

Speaker 9 (26:56):
Hey, what's his person now?

Speaker 6 (26:57):
He has a dry sense of humor, he's married, he
has in the way.

Speaker 2 (27:02):
Yeah, he lives with the same DNA Saint lewis same
family tree.

Speaker 9 (27:08):
Is so very different at the same time, with the
same parents.

Speaker 6 (27:11):
He went to college and then you go to college.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
In Ireland, he had a semester of broad Yes.

Speaker 6 (27:16):
Yeah, yes, it's like totally different.

Speaker 9 (27:18):
Well, and I'll bring you into like super details.

Speaker 6 (27:21):
There's like easy stuff you can throw.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Out that although I do feel like like I'll just
have a chat GPT, but it's like this, text Shelby
and she'll tell you anything you know and most of
it's probably true.

Speaker 9 (27:31):
Sure, except you said that to me on a date.
End of date.

Speaker 6 (27:35):
Yeah, date would be over.

Speaker 9 (27:37):
Just just text.

Speaker 6 (27:38):
My coworker and like see what she says.

Speaker 8 (27:41):
Well, not just that, it's like tech text somebody. I'm
not going to give you any information, but if you
want to learn about me, talk to my best friends.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
Like that's not like, hey, you're gonna have to be
friends with her anyway, see.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
Mysels, I would lose it.

Speaker 4 (27:52):
It's like when there's an issue with something, you're like, hey,
how do I solve this problem? They're like, here, text
this person and then like maybe they'll take care of it.

Speaker 6 (27:59):
Like I just think that's so annoying.

Speaker 5 (28:00):
Hey, thanks appreciate it. Being self center made the list.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
Well, yeah, if you're only talking about yourself on a
first date and you're not trying to get to know
who you're actually with and that's the point of a
first date, then that's a problem.

Speaker 5 (28:12):
Yeah, just it's just kind of like they're supposed to
be your best foot forward.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:15):
Yeah, Like, how are you gonna know if you want
to see this person again if you're only talking about
you and you're not getting to know them.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Yeah, they said, of course you're on your first date.
You feel like an interview, but you have to ask
the other person questions. Yeah, it kind of makes.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Sense because I was going to go on a date
last night or no, sorry, this was two nights ago,
and I just said that I just actually canceled because
he only talked about himself when we were like making
plans for the date and never asked anything about me.

Speaker 5 (28:38):
That's weird.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
So even when he was talking about going to dinner,
he had said, okay, I made reservations at eight o'clock,
which like, I'm not going to dinner at eight o'clock.

Speaker 6 (28:46):
No, sorry, So even like by the.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
Time you made the reservations, I was like, hey, actually
I just realized I liked I said I had a
work thing. I was like, maybe we can reconnect later
this week. I said, I had like works out spoiler
alert also snowed, so that helped.

Speaker 6 (28:59):
Did you reconnect, No, we're not going to reconnect being clingy.

Speaker 4 (29:05):
If I just met you, it's first date and you're cleaning,
that's weird.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I think that's fair. I'm revealing too much too soon.
That's the Bachelor effect. By the way.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
I have been on a lot of dates where they
have just told me so many things. I was actually
talking about this when I had my girls and the
other day I was like, yeah, I feelt like that
guy just told me so much. And I and I
told her one of the stories and that was on
our first day, and she's like, that's not normal.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
I was like, keep give us like a bride strokes.

Speaker 4 (29:30):
Okay, nobody got hurt in this. I just want to
throw that out there. So we're on a first date
and he said that his house when he was twelve
burned down, or maybe he was eleven, and he's like,
and I don't know why this like freaked me out
so much. He said that when the house burned down,
he was outside celebrating because it was so cool to
watch his house burn down.

Speaker 5 (29:49):
That's weird.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
And I was like, and I was like, have you
gone to therapy? For that, because I feel like that's
like very traumatic thing to see what happen. And he said,
I mean no, it was just it was really cool
to watch in person.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
What question if he said, well, there's that meme that
little girl who's looking over her shoulder where the house
burns down, like that's weird.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
No, but I thought that was so scary of a thing.
And even as an adult, he was saying that was
so cool. And I was like, Okay, if I.

Speaker 9 (30:12):
Was my child and my fib, I'm celebrating.

Speaker 5 (30:15):
Yeah, yeah, amazing.

Speaker 6 (30:16):
I was like absolutely not. Probably good, Yes, they're going
to see you again.

Speaker 5 (30:19):
Melting Pasha.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
It's Friday. We'd like to have fun. Your Friday fun
Facts next, and a happy Friday. Appreciate you listening. DJ

(30:49):

Speaker 5 (31:04):
She has no idea. I really don't excited.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
I don't know it all.

Speaker 5 (31:07):
It is Friday. I like to have fun.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
We do Friday fun facts in two thousand and seven,
Daniel Radcliffe Harry Potter. Harry wore the same outfit each
time he left the theater for six months straight in
order to piss off paparazzi.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
Oh that's hilarious, brilliant, I'm not brilliant.

Speaker 6 (31:27):
Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
A Norwegian student named Christopher Koch spent twenty seven twenty
seven dollars on bitcoin, forgot about them. Few years later
realized they're worth nearly nine hundred thousand dollars.

Speaker 6 (31:38):
Oh my god, lucky for him for.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
The first twenty two years of his history. Georgia State,
the state Yes banned all lawyers from the colony. The
founder announced them as quote pest and Scrooge of mankind.
Kind of funny except for our guy, ohmied Zori La
fantastic Paris. It has a grocery store named Thanksgiving that

(32:02):
sells us foods like pop tarts and Skippy pant butter.
Oh well, okay, and then your final Friday fun. Fat
Crows are monogamous. They raised families together and keep help
each other raise the young ones. I think they also
have the intelligence of like a six year old, which
just scary too. If they remember faces, which is kind
of crazy. Your Friday fun Facts, we always has the

(32:23):
three things you need to know.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
Com on what you got.

Speaker 8 (32:26):
We're going to talk about the local schools that have
been designated among the nation's top research schools.

Speaker 5 (32:31):
We'll do it in less than three minutes. That intern
Johnny Mary Show.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
I wanted to do something obviously today Valentine's Day, but
it's also Chewy's birthday. So Chewy passed away on New
Year's Eve. He would have been sixteen today, which is crazy,
and I was blessed to have him the entire run.
It still sucks. It's still not great. However, I've been

(32:55):
trying to focus on is the positive stuff. Recently, in
honor of Chewy's birthday, I got a whole old giant
bag of tennis balls that wanted to give to our
dog friends who listen to the show. So we if
you have a dog who would like a tennis ball
in honor of Chewy's birthday, call me eight seven seven
nine nine five four six A one. What I want

(33:15):
to do is we kind of mentioned this, I think
was yesterday. You give us your dog's name. We guess
if it's a big dog or a small dog. Yeah,
and then regardless to get a ball. So did Chew
we like play and fetch? No, his entire life. He
maybe tried to fetch one time. Otherwise he would stare
at you like, why would I get that?

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (33:35):
When you can get that, you're through it a peasant.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
Yeah, Or like I would have like skittles, and then
Molly would have her dog over and they would play
fetch and he'd stare at them like, why are you
idiots running?

Speaker 6 (33:45):
Why he'll get it. They didn't throw it. You didn't
throw it. They did.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
He'll get the ball for you. Why would you Why
would you go into that?

Speaker 13 (33:54):
So?

Speaker 5 (33:54):
Uh if you would like a tennis ball for your dog?

Speaker 2 (33:57):
In honor of Chewy's birthday eight seven, seven nine ninety
five four six A one, let's do.

Speaker 10 (34:02):
This from the City that changes the world, Piers Rose
with three things.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
You need to know Friday?

Speaker 5 (34:09):
What you got for us?

Speaker 3 (34:10):
Rose?

Speaker 8 (34:10):
So, Virginia spring burn van is going into effect on Saturday.
So it's in effect from Saturday, February fifteenth through April thirtieth.
And this ban prohibits outdoor burning between midnight and four pm.
Violations of the burning law is a Class three misdemeanor.
It's punishable with a fine up to five hundred dollars.
And the law applies to outdoor burning within three hundred

(34:30):
feet of the woods or dry grass. And this does
include debris burning, campfires, open air charcoal girls like the
ones that you find in the parks. It does not
apply to charcoal or gas fired barbecue grills and some
there are some exceptions that are made for campfires at
Virginia State parks.

Speaker 9 (34:47):
But I just wanted you to be aware of that.

Speaker 8 (34:49):
So Cinthie January twenty ninth crash, the FAA has prohibited
most non emergency helicopters from flying near Reagan Airport. So
this restriction, an initially temporary, could become a permanent. Band
Aviation officials are currently reviewing helicopter flight routes and their
proximity to commercial air traffic at Reagan.

Speaker 9 (35:10):
And here's the thing.

Speaker 8 (35:11):
Any permanent change would require approval from other federal agencies.
So they're talking about this. It hasn't happened yet, but
I will let you know if that does. And DC's
Howard University, Catholic University of America, and American University Worry
among the one hundred and ninety nationwide to receive the
research one Carnegigie classification from the American Council on Education,

(35:35):
meaning less than five percent of all colleges and universities
received this distinction.

Speaker 9 (35:40):
Wow, which is very very cool.

Speaker 8 (35:43):
Howard University is the only historical black university to receive
the designation.

Speaker 9 (35:47):
I'm Rose. Those are the three things you show up
the day.

Speaker 6 (35:49):
Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Yeah. A lot of people on hold already, which is
very exciting. So let me go in bel air, Heather,
good morning, good morning. Name of our dog is what.

Speaker 8 (36:02):
Smoky?

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Smoky? And how old is Smoky?

Speaker 9 (36:06):
Seven months old?

Speaker 2 (36:08):
Okay, Okay, So I think we'll gas base on how
big Smokey will be.

Speaker 5 (36:13):
Yeah, okay, I'm gonna say smoky to me. Sounds like
he is a he or she.

Speaker 6 (36:20):
A boy?

Speaker 5 (36:20):
The boy. I think Smokey's a little dog, sas.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
I think he's a big dog. Okay, Rose, I'm thinking
like black lab.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Okay, Heather, he's.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
A silver lab. He's sixty four pound.

Speaker 16 (36:32):
Right now, Holy schnikey, big dog, big guy.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
All right, Heather, big one second, put you in. We'll
get you a we'll get you a name.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
Sixty four pounds a little pun He probably eats more
food in the citty than she he would eat in
his entire like, my goodness. Okay, let's go Christina, good morning, good.

Speaker 9 (36:56):
Morning, all right.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
Dog's name is what I'll be? And how old is Ozzie?
He is old five years old. Ozzie to me, I'm
getting I'm gonna lean towards small again. I don't know
why Ozzie seems like it. It's a little guy.

Speaker 5 (37:11):
Sauce.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
You want to say like medium size, like a blue
healer size. Can I say the medium and not big?

Speaker 15 (37:16):
Sure?

Speaker 9 (37:16):
Okay, I'm thinking a little like a little shit.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
So okay, Christina, he is a pitbull's medium right medium size?

Speaker 3 (37:29):
Right?

Speaker 5 (37:29):
Yeah, Christina, one second, got a tennis ball coming to you.

Speaker 9 (37:32):
So cute.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
Let's go in and Baltimore, Felicia, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 5 (37:37):
All right. Girl.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
Dog's name is Juno. How old is Juno?

Speaker 8 (37:43):
Juno is seven years old?

Speaker 5 (37:45):
Okay, and how long have you had Juno?

Speaker 17 (37:48):
He was a little pup.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Okay, I'm gonna say Juna was a big boy.

Speaker 6 (37:55):
Sauce is like a small like little dog.

Speaker 16 (37:58):
Okay, I'm gonna say like a medium.

Speaker 2 (38:01):

the comedy shows. He came on stage and acted like,
hello humans here.

then he'd get there and be like.

It's not so bad.

Speaker 4 (38:39):
He's like if I just like flap my stuff, people
are clapping, I don't have to get off.

Speaker 5 (38:44):
Yes, And he would always walk just out of arms reach.
He could.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
You could look at the king and you could put
your hand out for a kiss, but you cannot touch
the king.

Report which you have for us.

Speaker 4 (53:19):
So the Jones brothers have sent fans into a brief panic.
I was gonna talk about this yesterday, but I'll be honest,
I was kind of annoyed with the message. It's so
sorry I had way today. But so this week they
posted this message. I believe it was on Wednesday, and
a lot of people thought it was a breakup announcement.
The message was very long, and I will read you
a little bit of it, but the beginning was just

(53:39):
kind of ongoing, and I was like, wait, what does
this even mean? And then by the time after that,
I was like, this was such a waste of Yeah, hey, nothing, okay,
we have other stuff to do. Then read something that
you're just telling us what you're already doing. So basically
the letter said, quote to our an incredible fans. As
a family, we have been reflecting a lot lately, and
it basically they were just saying that they've been reflected

(54:00):
on the twenty years of their career and they were
celebrating the twentieth anniversary.

Speaker 2 (54:03):
They Stilvie Brothers. It looks like it is Frankie still
in the family.

Speaker 4 (54:08):
Uh yeah, Okay, a lot of people don't know what
exist so for Frankie. But they added, we are celebrating
this wild twenty year journey by doing what we love
and we can't wait to share it with you.

Speaker 6 (54:18):
What do you mean, just basically.

Speaker 4 (54:20):
Re established they're gona keep working on music. There's gonna
be another album, a live album, a soundtrack, solo projects.

Speaker 6 (54:26):
Sure stuff we already know.

Speaker 2 (54:28):
Hey, this is the long announcement to announce that we're
doing the exact same stuff.

Speaker 4 (54:31):
Yeah, so there is a countdown though, there's a countdown
clock on their website. It's ticking towards today, so we
don't know what it means. I just checked it again.
There's literally nothing there.

Speaker 5 (54:45):
Still brothers.

Speaker 6 (54:46):
I'm really just like still brothers.

Speaker 4 (54:48):
All it says now is zero. It says sorry, it
says nineteen minutes left. Sorry, I had to open again.
And so I opened this like thirty minutes ago. Says
nineteen minutes left.

Speaker 2 (54:55):
Could this be they went back to the year three
thousand and maybe a great great granddaughter is not doing
They're like.

Speaker 4 (55:00):
Wait a second, that actually doesn't add up for how
long the way? That is all right anyway, Sorry, let's
just move along. So so Sria, Serena, so Lena Gomez
and her fiance Benny Blanco, they made an album together.
They actually posted about this yesterday. It's called I Said
I Love You First, which Selena did. The whole album
comes out March twenty first, but they did give us
something to listen to for Valentine's sake, because the first
single did drop yesterday. It's called Scared of Loving You,

(55:23):
is written by two of them, but also Billie Eilish
and her brother added a little bit too as well. So,
uh yeah, the video, it's two minutes of just Selena
and Benny hanging out in bed cute. We get love
is love, but they are Q couple though I don't know,
I like And I didn't want to share this at
first because I was like, uh, but I feel like
it's been everywhere if people even on Instagram were talking
about it. So Colleen Hoover, author of the book that

(55:46):
inspired the movie It ends with Us, that's based on
I mean, not inspired, it's really based on that book.
She's back on Instagram and basically something's missing because she
deleted all our socials when she started getting dragged for
the lawsuit, because she has made it pretty obviously she's
on Blake's side, So all the pictures of her, Blake
Lively and Dustin Baldoni and everything that has to do
with it ends with Us.

Speaker 6 (56:05):
She has a leader from her Instagram. So Wednesday morning.

Speaker 4 (56:07):
She did come back scrub those pictures and she's trying
to just you're clear the controversy. Their trial is not
set to begin until March ninth, twenty twenty six, so
we have over a year and hopefully that's the last
I have to talk about about it for a while now.
So Apple, if you're like for something, watched this weekend.
We got severance new episodes out on Apple tv Plus

The first season finale on Showtime Parent plus Love is
Blide in Minneapolis eighth season today on Netflix, hopefully better

(56:49):
than DC because that Sorry that that whole season just sucked.

So, Virginia Spring Burn Band is going into effect. So
that starts on Saturday the fifteenth and it goes through
April thirtieth. The van prohibits outdoor burning between midnight and
four pm. Violation of the burning law is a Class
three misdemeanor, punishable with a fine of up to five
hundred dollars. Now this law applies to outdoor burning within
three hundred feet of the woods or dry grass. This

(01:16:52):
includes the free burning campfires and open air charcoal girls
like the kinds that you find in a park. It
doesn't apply to charcoal or gas fired barbecue girls like
you were doing it and you're on backguard, but some
expect Some exceptions are made for campfires in Virginia State Park.
But if you are going to be burning, to double
check the rules, make sure you are in a compliance
because you do.

Speaker 9 (01:17:13):
Not want to get that fine.

Speaker 8 (01:17:14):
So since the January twenty nine crash, the FAA has
prohibited most non emergency helicopters from flying near Reagan Airport.
This restriction initially is temporary, but it could become a
permanent ban. Aviation officials are currently reviewing helicopter flight routes
and their proximity to commercial air traffic at Reagan.

Speaker 9 (01:17:32):
Any permanent changes would.

Speaker 8 (01:17:33):
Require approval from other federal agencies, but I will keep
you updated on that. And DC's Howard University, Catholic University
of America, and American University were among one hundred and
ninety nationwide to receive the Research one the R one
Carnegie Classification from the American Council on education requirements for
this declaration are rigorous, and less than five percent of

(01:17:56):
all colleges and universities actually received the distinction.

Speaker 9 (01:17:59):
So very cool that those three got it.

Speaker 8 (01:18:02):
Also, Howard University is the only historically black university to
receive this designation.

Speaker 9 (01:18:07):
So love to see that. I'm Rose. Those are three
things you know for the day. Thank you, Rose, You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
I also want to thank I HOP coming in today
a little Valentine Say breakfast. They did a big They
got the chocolate covered strawberry Pancake of the Month combo,
which fantastic. I had the Big Brunch steak burger, which
was a burger and bacon and had egg on it.
Not trying to flex you poor people, but shut.

Speaker 11 (01:18:35):
What.

Speaker 2 (01:18:35):
Yeah. They also had the thick and fluffy strawberry band
French toast, which is also really good.

Speaker 5 (01:18:40):
It's huge. Thanks to I HOP for coming in.

Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
This is very exciting, so sauces middle school musician Crush.
It's currently in the elevator on the way up to
Oh my god. This is exciting because our elevators here get.

Speaker 4 (01:18:58):
SUCKI a sign on one yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
Yeah, the eric put up without explaining what it was
and just said, far far left elevator.

Speaker 6 (01:19:05):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (01:19:06):
I was in that one yesterday when I left here,
and then he said that that picture, but I was
scared because the door wasn't opening when I got all yesterday.

Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
Well, I think we've all been stuck in the elevator here.
We have, we have, and that the last time I
was it is the last time I was stuck in
the elevator here. I pushed the button to call like
the emergency people, and there was no service. The phone
kept cutting down. I'm like, why how did we not
think of that?

Speaker 11 (01:19:29):
You know?

Speaker 4 (01:19:30):
But remember when I got stuck in that elevator in
twenty eighteen. Twenty eighteen, they had just fixed the elevators,
they got the new remember they redid them. Yeah, and
I was the first one to get stuck in them
and the thing didn't work. Then it's the worst because
I remember the manager at the time was like, oh,
we didn't know that they didn't work, and I'm like, yeah,
I had a like and you also don't have service
in the elevator.

Speaker 6 (01:19:49):
So I'm like texting you guys, like.

Speaker 4 (01:19:50):
Hey, yeah, I'm stuck, and you guys are like you should.

Speaker 6 (01:19:53):
Go live on Facebook roo insta room.

Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
Well and when the when the fire department? Yeah, yes, yes,
bringing in Well, we're obviously solid. We're talking about.

Speaker 5 (01:20:07):
My god.

Speaker 2 (01:20:07):
Look look at this call Ryan Cabrera. Oh all right,
Cabrera in our studios. Well, I was in the neighborhood. Yeah,
that's why I got Yes, your wife's here. Babies also,

(01:20:28):
big star, this is okay. So Ryan Cabrera, what's up?

Speaker 14 (01:20:33):
How are you?

Speaker 3 (01:20:34):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:20:34):
My god? Life is good.

Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
A little tired from obviously having a child, but yeah,
life is good. Yeah, so you're you're in town. Obviously
the SmackDown tonight, that's part of the reason why we're here, obviously,
but here is wow, are you working today? We're going
to We're going oh yeah, oh good, going to hang
with you, hang with me and the baby, absolutely, and
bring the baby to my bar afterwards.

Speaker 6 (01:20:55):
Babies, she's been go to the bar since she was
three months old.

Speaker 5 (01:20:58):
She's good.

Speaker 2 (01:20:59):
That's do you gotta get them used to it. Yeah,
So dude, this is amazing to have you here. Obviously,
when I found that on the way down is twenty
years old, that was like a whoa time moment.

Speaker 5 (01:21:10):
Yeah, yeah, see the question did you ever do TRL, Oh, buddy,
I was absolutely okay.

Speaker 19 (01:21:16):
That was like when TRL was well, obviously, you know
we have the Carson Daily. Yeah, like the boy band time,
which was what I was considered the best time. But
then like right when I was coming out, it was
like me afroil Maroon five, you know, it was still like, yeah,
it was.

Speaker 5 (01:21:32):
It was wild. That was like the childhood dream was CRL.

Speaker 2 (01:21:35):
But was the actual show as cool behind the scenes
as it came across watching it or.

Speaker 19 (01:21:40):
Was it just like really yeah, because because backstage, like
all the artists were like hanging and mingling and no
one we didn't know each other. There wasn't like social media.
It wasn't like easy to connect with people. So if
you weren't doing like the radio jingle ball or something
like that, you didn't really interact with the artist.

Speaker 6 (01:21:56):
TRL.

Speaker 19 (01:21:56):
Backstage was like getting to hang and everybody was in
a good movie. You're there at to party like it
was fun.

Speaker 5 (01:22:01):
Yeah, it was always cool. This obviously watched it was
kind of.

Speaker 4 (01:22:04):
Like you just I always wanted to go because the
corner and everything. Yeah, it was it a corner, yeah,
and I just always want to be there to look
so fun.

Speaker 6 (01:22:10):
But I had school.

Speaker 2 (01:22:12):
Well, yeah, everything in that crowd. Yeah, they all had school.

Speaker 3 (01:22:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:22:16):
Music sapply just changed a lot to me. Twenty years
ago is about ring tones and callback tones and that
kind of stuff. What's the craziest change you've seen in
the last twenty years with music?

Speaker 19 (01:22:26):
I mean, just how quickly you could put it out,
Like I could write a song yesterday and be like,
all right, here's my new single, so yeah, you know,
and go to radio with it sure, like you know,
when back in like you know, the mid two thousands,
it took months and months and months, and then that
took months and one more so like the process, but
now like it's just so quick quick. He was like,
I wrote a song this morning, put it out on
your Instagram. Yeah, and then fans can have it, which

(01:22:49):
is yeah, which is awesome.

Speaker 2 (01:22:50):
Well there's even two you have the slow burn of
like it's feasible that because of TikTok, somebody finds on
the way down and there's no idea it's years old percent.
So that's what's fun about.

Speaker 19 (01:23:01):
Like, you know, doing the twentieth anniversary version, which we
re recorded, we were like, we got the studio, like,
what would this song sound like if we wrote it today, sure,
And that was kind of where we we headed towards it.
And then all of a sudden, I was chatting with
my buddy Nick from Walk the Moon Yeah, and I'm like, dude,
I'm in the studio, were recording on the way down
twentieth anniversary. We're kind of stuck with where we need

(01:23:22):
to go with this song because it's hard to rewrite
a song or reproduce a song, you know, I mean,
And I'm like, dude, I'm in the studio, you want
to come by? And he was in the neighborhood. So
he swung by and then sang this part that was
very Walk the Moon sure, and I'm like that's dope.
So and I'm like, let's just go with that. And
so that's how like all the collaborations came into into
play Boys and who is not all of a sudden

(01:23:44):
the TRL roster yea. And then brought in some you know,
the newer caast like Hot Scholl Rey and Walked the Moon,
and brought in some old friends like Taylor Hanson, Drake Bell.

Speaker 5 (01:23:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 19 (01:23:53):
It just became this crazy collaboration and and like you're saying,
like there's people who like when we play concerts. They
bring like their kids and they're hearing these songs for
the first time, or they hear this, you know, on
on the radio and they're like, that's a brand new song,
like it's twenty years old, but let's go with it.

Speaker 5 (01:24:09):
Did The first female butt that I touched was to
true they don't want to break.

Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
Wasn't anything sexual.

Speaker 5 (01:24:17):
It was like I have my hands like my buddy
like it was. I was the all boys Catholic school,
as you had to like, I was like, this is cool.

Speaker 19 (01:24:30):
One of the biggest compliments though, you get as a
songwriter was you know when people hear your song and
like they'll be like, yo, that song that got me
laid all right for me?

Speaker 5 (01:24:41):
Touching hips was that's basically the same thing back in
the day.

Speaker 2 (01:24:44):
You have the first face. I didn't know you're bringing
your wife and I know she's not working later on tonight,
but your wife ISI's day. So we're spending the who
day again. But so we had a watch party downstairs
in the studio for the Royal Rumble.

Speaker 11 (01:24:56):
Yea.

Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
And if you don't know what the Royal Rumble is,
it's this huge rastling event we're based They start with
two wrestlers in the ring. In every two minutes, there's
a giant like horn and then a pause and then
the next person's music starts.

Speaker 5 (01:25:07):
And in wrestling, music is like the calling cards.

Speaker 2 (01:25:10):
So the example I was going to show for listeners,
it's like, so imagine there's a match going on for music, right,
who's coming next?

Speaker 5 (01:25:16):
And you hear this, Everybody's oh my god, that's Britney
hears his music.

Speaker 2 (01:25:21):
Yeah, at this point, your lovely wife had been out
of wrestling for like a year or so. Right, So
I want to play you guys the clip because this
is a football stadium. This is eighty thousand people, an
industry at ten sealine. More towards the dudes and the
pop that she gets when her music hits is something
so cool that we were kind of moved watching.

Speaker 5 (01:25:40):
Yea, I had no idea you're going to be here.

Speaker 2 (01:25:45):
It was such a cool thing. He's listen, here's here's
a moment. That's a football stadium. The baby and I
live like every hair in my body was kanting up. Well,
that's what I was gonna ask. That's gotta be such
a proud moment because obviously, you guys some hard you

(01:26:06):
both work and to see your person do her thing.
And then you know, the entertainment industry is hard. There's
always thought like, well, if I take too much time off,
what they forget? That's eighty thousand people, Yeah, losing their minds,
wild sick. Yeah, we were at home watching and I
had the baby. I was like, look, it's mommy, and
it's so loud that the baby started crying. Oh, it's amazing. Well,
I mean it was great though, and everywhere we're all screaming.

(01:26:28):
It was awesome that it was very cool. We're excited
to see it. Listen, So on the way Down, the
new edition, who is all on the record again? So
this is it's hard to keep keep straight. So it's
got Walk the Moon. Nick nick leads here Walk the Moon.
It's got Drake Bell, Taylor Hanson, A J. McClean from
the Backstree Boys, Joey Fatone from and Sync and h
Nash from Hotshall Ray.

Speaker 5 (01:26:49):
Oh my gosh, this is Sack all right here, it
is right now. Intern Johnny morn Show.

Speaker 2 (01:26:53):
I don't want to say the new and improved on
the way Down, but the twenty twenty five edition. Ryan
Cabrera On the Way Down, into Johnny Morning Show. If
people want to get the song, where can they get
the song?

Speaker 19 (01:27:04):
Everywhere you get music, where you get your music, So yeah,
it can be a tour coming maybe, Yeah, we'll.

Speaker 2 (01:27:09):
Be on It's called the Pop two thousand Tour.

Speaker 19 (01:27:11):
Yees year nine, Yeah, year nine, the same tour, which
is because it keeps growing and growing. We only intended
to do it for like three months. Sure, uh, me
and Otown, and then we started adding and bringing in
new people and stuff. So now it's me Otown, Chris Kirkpatrick,
Sure and sing bb mac LFO and the tour just
keeps growing and growing gross. So like I guess we're

(01:27:32):
gonna do it again and yeah, so we'll be on
the road for the rest of the year.

Speaker 2 (01:27:35):
And if people want to follow you, where can they
get your Ryan cabre dot com look at that website. Ryan,
thank you so much for coming in to see it
is a pleasure to think that is on the way down.
The new addition let's go, Hi, guys, say a huge

(01:28:04):
thank you to Sauce's middle school crush, Ryan Cabrera coming
in today, which was very exciting, kind of going down
memory lane brought us back. I think huge thanks to him.
Make sure you check him out on Instagram at Ryan Cabrera.
You can listen to the interview in the podcast too,
just search interns John in your morning show wherever you

Speaker 4 (01:28:32):
So two days ago, the Jonahs' brothers, they send fans
into a panic because they posted that heartfelt message that
I honestly wasn't gonna talk about it because I was like,
are they breaking up?

Speaker 6 (01:28:42):
And then I was pretty mad, I they sell brothers,
I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (01:28:45):
Yeah, I was pretty bad for like twenty four hours.
I couldn't talk about yesterday.

Speaker 6 (01:28:48):
So I was just like, what was that? What was
the purpose? Like, Hey, we're gonna keep We're gonna keep being.

Speaker 4 (01:28:53):
A band and brothers, and we're gonna keep working on
everything we've already been working on.

Speaker 6 (01:28:57):
It's cool essentially.

Speaker 5 (01:28:58):
What I took away from it, hey, basically nothing to
change it. But yeah, paragraph though.

Speaker 4 (01:29:02):
Everyone thought that it was a breakup announcement, I'm sure
they did that on purpose just to get people to talk,
and it worked. It worked, tugged in our heartstrings. If
you will, they said, quote to our incredible fans. As
a family, we have been reflecting a lot lately. So
they were amiss on their early days of music. And
it continued, it became clear that they were not saying goodbye.
They were celebrating their twentieth anniversary basically kind of. They said, quote,

(01:29:26):
we are celebrating this twenty year journey by doing what
we love and we can't wait to share it with you.

Speaker 6 (01:29:30):
Yep, they are reassured that they're going to stay together.

Speaker 4 (01:29:33):
They tease a year of music, a live album, back,
solo projects, everything they've already been doing to.

Speaker 9 (01:29:40):
Make a panic for that.

Speaker 3 (01:29:42):
Come on.

Speaker 4 (01:29:43):
So I just wanted everyone to know if you just
maybe heard that they were breaking up. I didn't see
the announcement that they're not breaking up, and they're just
they've been brothers for twenty years plus they're.

Speaker 6 (01:29:55):
Still planning on being brothers. So okay, perfect, Hey, I
love it.

Speaker 4 (01:30:00):
They're not going to break up and not your brothers
like Oasis, So at least you have that. Billis OAYSI
is back. So Selena Giomez and her fiance Benny Blanco,
they made an album together. It's called I said, I
love You First. It's coming out on March twenty first.
So basically, Selena posted this yesterday and she is the
one that told Benny that she loves him first. She said,

(01:30:20):
I love you first, and that's why it's called that.
So they dropped the first single yesterday just in time
for you know, Valentine's Day.

Speaker 6 (01:30:26):
It's called Scared of Loving You. Is written by both
of them.

Speaker 4 (01:30:29):
Sorry, it was written by Billie Eilish and her brother,
and the video is basically two minutes of Selena and
Benny and just in bed being in love. Cute, and
then even in the press release, it says, quote chronicles
their entire story before they met, falling in love and
looking to what the future holds unquote.

Speaker 6 (01:30:45):
So if you love love, song is for you. Song
is for you. And I saw this a lot over
the last few.

Speaker 4 (01:30:53):
Days, so I feel like I should talk about it
because it seems like people are talking about it. So
Colin Hoover, a lot of people love her as an author,
some people don't, that's fine, But basically she deleted her
Instagram with all the drama that was going on with
the it ends with us, you know, legal stuff. But
so a lot of people were talking about that, and
now she is officially back on Instagram as of a
few days ago. Here's the thing, though, a lot of

(01:31:13):
her pictures she has leaded, so it's mostly the pictures
of Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively that she's deleted. So
when the legal battle started, she was clearly on Blake
Lively side and a lot of people have been dragging her,
so she deleted all of our social media and now
she's back, and so it looks like she's just trying
not to pick aside and scare clear the controversy, which

(01:31:34):
like she's not necessarily in the legal battle. It's I mean,
it's it's her book that the movie's about, but that
it's not like she's really in it.

Speaker 6 (01:31:40):
So I get it. She's just want to stay low,
being mom, do that stuff. If you're looking for something
to watch this weekend.

Speaker 4 (01:31:46):
And we got a new episode of Severance that's on
Apple TV plus the All Star Celebrity Game. It has
Our Dude Showboozie and Noah Cohn's in it, Walk Her
Haze Down and then uh, that's gonna be on Disney
Plus and ESPN. The s n L fifty Year, The
fifty year Uh, what is there?

Speaker 6 (01:32:05):
Reunion?

Speaker 4 (01:32:07):
You're kindly the homecoming concert, But I don't know. I
don't know if I like that doesn't make sense to me.
But whatever, Lady Got Go's gonna be there, My Least
tires Bad, Bunny, post Malone, a lot of big names.

Speaker 6 (01:32:16):
I'm really looking for that.

Speaker 4 (01:32:17):
And then that will be on Peacock and NBC, and
then the third season premiere of Yellow jack Jackets will
be on Showtime in Paramount Plus, Dexter Original Sin it's
the season finale that will be on show Time in
Paramount Plus as well, Love is Blind, that's the minute
the Minnesota line. Are you excited? Any season premiere today
on Netflix?

Speaker 6 (01:32:36):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (01:32:37):
Yeah, you do?

Speaker 4 (01:32:38):
You think they're gonna have like a tap yoga pudding fountain?

Speaker 5 (01:32:40):
I hope?

Speaker 4 (01:32:41):
So, okay, I didn't. I didn't even like the answer.
And then The Gorge it's on Apple TV Plus. It's
a sci fi horror film with my Miles Taylor and
Anya Taylor Joy. And then The White Lotus third season
premiere on ATM and that whoa, We're not leaving all right?

Speaker 6 (01:32:57):
