Chuck and Jenna first matched on Hinge a few weeks ago and it only took them a week before going on their first date at a happy hour. Chuck tells us they had a great conversation and that he felt like they were vibing with one another so they went on two additional dates. However, ever since their last date where Chuck introduced Jenna to his friends he noticed that she spent a majority of the date in the bathroom. When Chuck tried following up with Jenna she said she had to help her friend who had a few too many drinks get home, but Chuck hasn’t heard back from her ever since.

We call Jenna trying to figure out if there is anything else between her and Chuck that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and she tells us that she wasn’t a fan of who pulled her aside during their date. Find out what’s really going on in this Second Date Update!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Second date update on intern John and your Morning show.
You think the person you're with is maybe the one
dating has not been great. All of a sudden they
start to you know, rise to the top, so to speak.
Then they stopped talking to you. We tried to figure
out exactly what is going on, Chuck, Good.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Morning, Good morning guys.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
So I got your email here. Let's get into this.
You and Jenna, how'd you guys meet? Where are we
at now? What happened?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Wow? Where do I start? How about at the beginning?
We met on Hinge okay, right, had some good contacts,
didn't test for too long before we got together. We
went on the first date, things went good, went on
the second date, things went good.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Well, let's pause for our second shuck, So we matched
how long ago?

Speaker 2 (00:49):
About weeks ago?

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Okay? And how long from mashing to our first date?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Maybe a week or so.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
It wasn't that long, okay. So first date was happy hour?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah, yeah, man, we did a happy y'all. We met.
I was I liked this girl. She's very cool, good convo,
great looking girl, great personality.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
And then second day was actual dinner.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
It was it was dinner, man. She has a great
sense of humor. We told some really good stories and
I'm telling you, I really like this girl.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Okay. And then so third day, this is kind of
interesting to explain this to me. You guys decided having
a friend hang out. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, here's where it gets kind of weird. We decided
to get together and do kind of a your friends
my friends. Let's get together, see how we see how
our friends vibe. Sure, because we'll see me vibing pretty good. Yeah,
so you know, we went to a little restaurant get
together and it was very cool. And then get this right,

(01:52):
so we're all hanging out, she says she has to
go to the bathroom. And she goes to the bathroom,
and I guess five minutes by, ten minutes goes by,
and I'm not the person that sits around, you know,
watching to see how long you're gone or anything. But
twenty minutes goes by, she never comes back.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, okay, And so you reach out to her and
she says what.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
She starts telling me. She starts telling me the story
about how she had to take her girlfriend home. My
girlfriend was drunk, some stuff about you know, half them
in the bathroom and which which is It's fair, but that's.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Fair, that shuck like it could just be that. And
but I guess the part that makes this odd is
this was Friday night. Here we are Wednesday. You've reached
out since and there's been no response. Correct.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Yeah, not only that.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
I mean I was there with her friends. You know,
she could have at least said, hey, you know you later,
I gotta I gotta bounce anything, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay, Yeah, that's on, And I guess let me the
final question is how long have you been single for?
How long has she been single for?

Speaker 2 (03:04):
I've been single for a minute, man, it's been about
six six eight months? Okay for her, I think a
little less.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Okay, cool, So let's do this. We'll call her trying
your own with us and get her side of the story.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Okay, sounds great.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Man.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
One second, we're trying to get her. I can see
like you have friends or it's just like not the
first thing in your mind. We've all been there. Hello, Hi,
calling for Jenna. Please.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
Yes, this is Jenna.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Hey Jenna, it's intern John. I got Sauce and Rose
here as well. Can we talked to you on the
show like real quick about something nothing bad? Just need
like forty seconds your time.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Okay, all right, so.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
We're doing a second date. Update. I asked somebody on
the other line, Chuck, if you want to say hello, Hey.
Jenna nailed it, and so Jenna Chuck reached out to us.
He had told us he guys and matched on Hinge,
had had had a happy hour date, had had a
dinner date that this passed Friday, went out with some
friends in that in his estimation, you had a friend

(04:09):
who was maybe a little bit too drunk. You took
to that friend in the bathroom. You kind of left
use saying goodbye, and now here we are a couple
of days later. He's not hear from you. So he
is trying to figure out if we're still interested. I
guess what went wrong with that night your thoughts?

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Well, what I told him was that my friend was sick,
but that's not completely what happened.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (04:34):
And so this girl had seen me talk with Chuck
and all these other people, and she said, look, you know,
my name is Gail. I went out with Chuck for
a while. I thought things were really good. I can
show you that we were together, and she did. She
pulled out her Instagram and showed me. So I knew

(04:56):
it wasn't you know, a story that dates and all.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Of that on.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
And I said, well, what what what's going on? She said,
well he cheated on me?

Speaker 6 (05:05):
Oh okay, okay, I said, well, did you guys talk?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
You know, I tried to find out if she was
just jealous, you know, because that's.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Something we work there.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
She was just trying to, you know, make everybody else miserable. Sure,
you know girls they really mean.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
Wait, so, so, Huck, let me ask you this, Schuck.
Do you know a Gail? Did you day a Gail?
Did you cheat on a Gail?

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Yeah? I know her?

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Okay, did you set on her?

Speaker 2 (05:40):
We had a different kind of a relationship. I'll just
say that.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Okay. How how is it different than a monogamous relationship?
I guess.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Well, I mean, you know, we were dating. You know,
dating implies that are not necessarily.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Okay to you. Okay, So you're in your mind you
weren't in a commit relationship, you guys in the dating scene?

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Correct?

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Okay? So Jenna for you, then hearing that, does that
change anything? Or from what you saw, does it seem
like they were more than just dayte and they were
in a relationship?

Speaker 4 (06:14):
Well, you know.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
It's it's either either you're straight about what you're doing
or you're not.

Speaker 6 (06:19):
I mean, you know, when we had a it was
very quick once we started going out.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
We went on three dates in like ten days.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Sure, but I'm saying, like with with him in this
girl Gail, though, does that change it any more?

Speaker 5 (06:33):
They seem to have been in her mind it was
a committed relationship. At least it was a a inexclusive
sure whether they talked about it or not. I mean,
I don't know all the detail. I didn't I didn't
get into it.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Let me, let me do it.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Hold on, hold on, but you hasn't hold real quake.
Are you team Shuck or team Jenna? Eight seven seven
four six State want to call nine ninety three three
eight attacks It's second date update on interns on your
Morning Show? Second date update on internsown in your Morning Show.
We has talked to Chuck and Jenna. They matched on
a hinge have three dates. The third date is kind

(07:10):
of what caused the issue. Excuse me. They went out
to get drinks. I guess somebody approached her in the
restroom of the restaurant and said, hey, I used to
date Chuck. Last year, be aware he's a cheater, Cary
Good Chuck, he was never officially with that person. Whose
side are you on eight seven seven, nine ninety five
four six state one to call, nine ninety three three
eight to text? So are getting you on hold? Sauce

(07:31):
your thoughts.

Speaker 7 (07:32):
I know it is very issy when you're approached by
another woman. And I can't tell you how many guys
I've started dating that I've just had either friends that
just know the person, or I've just heard from many
people not great things about the person and some stuff
you should definitely listen to. But this is one of
those things that I mean, it just seems like she

(07:53):
kind of jumped to his inclusions. And granted I understand
why because I've been in her shoes before, but I
do think that she should have conversation with Chuck, just
because it's a different situation. She didn't know everything that
she didn't know if it was even true. Sure, and
I understand that it wasn't that long ago. You're really
wasn't that long ago, but like, I do think she

(08:13):
should have talked to him about it, and just seeing
where she just like kind of shot herself on the foot.
I guess like she just kind of just like didn't
even want to see if there was any if it
held any water.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Yeah, because I guess, like I think people sometimes don't
realize about modern dating is that you are talking to
several people, you lock it down.

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Not only that, especially in this area, no matter what
your age is, you're going to overlap and you're like,
you're like, there's so many different ways that that's very
normal to run into people when you're on a date
with somebody else that has dated. Like, it's very common,
even though we're in a big city. So it's just
I mean, it sucks, but yeah, just talk to him
about it.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
I'm disagree rose your thoughts.

Speaker 8 (08:53):
I agree with what Sauce is saying. However, the only
thing that kind of gives me a red flag is
she said she saw pick pictures on this girl's instagram
that clearly looked like they were a couple. If you're
kind of in that talking phase and not officially official
with somebody, I don't think you would necessarily be posting
those pictures. And he's very much like, oh no, we

(09:14):
weren't dating. So it just kind of gives a mixed
message there to me. So that is kind of where
I'd be like, I don't know about that, because these
pictures really look like it. Yes, sir, let me go
in Silver Spring Millie, good.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Morning, good morning. What do you want to say with
second date update?

Speaker 4 (09:31):
So I'm team Chuck. She went based off something a
stranger said. Instead of sneaking out, she could have just
pulled them to the side. Hey, can we talk real
quick and like gotten his side of the story, because
I mean, like you guys said, you guys are gonna overlap.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
I mean.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah you are, so yeah, No, for sure.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Ask him his side the story, and if she didn't
like it, she could have ended it.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Thank you for listening. Have a great day you too
by going Upper Marlborough, let's go be good morning.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Hi, good morning, John.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
And what do you want to say with this?

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Hey John? I'm teen Chuck as well, And I agree
with everyone what everyone said. I just I'm a firm
believer in Because that happened to the other young lady,
it doesn't mean that's gonna happen to you. You can listen.
You can hear in.

Speaker 2 (10:29):
His voice how into her he was.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
So this is totally different and it could be different.
And instead of her giving it a chance she just
lets someone else get in her ear, and now.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
She never know what can be.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Yeah, that's so true. Yeah, that's a really good point.
B thank you for listening. A great day. Oh yeah,
absolutely you too, Thank you, I listen.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I'm a big girly guy girls.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
I mean, however, I have witness other women try to
ruin and the woman's happiness with that kind of stuff.
I do think that, like, yeah, do some investigating yourself,
because what if, like that person just feels spurned and
they just want to not see you with him.

Speaker 7 (11:14):
Well ye, Then, like one of the last guys I
briefly talked to, and I was telling one of my
friends at happy Hour after I had met this guy
a week before, and I said that he had just
called me and we were on the phone, and I
told her who it was, and then she gets this
look on her face starts to be like oh, and
I said, I actually don't want to know. I'm too
old to be having people always give their opinions about
these people that I just met, and I want to

(11:36):
make an opinion for my own. And then come to
find out, like a month later, my friend gets her
haired on by his ex girlfriend. Okay, so she just
wanted to say that he like sucked to be there
for this girl, but they had broken up over a
year before. Yeah, and granted, like I did things with
him a few weeks later. But it's just if you
went based off everything, you would just you never would
get anywhere at this more, at least like from my situation.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
