Marco and Felicia first matched on Hinge a few weeks ago and Marco tells us that they immediately hit it off because they had the same sense of humor. Marco tells us that their first date was a playoff game for the Capitals after his friend couldn’t attend the game any more and Marco felt like it went great. Marco tells us that they even got dinner the next night so he thought things were taking off, but ever since then he hasn’t heard from Felicia and he isn’t sure why because they even kissed on both dates.

We call Felicia trying to figure out if there is anything else between her and Marco that happened that may have caused things to go wrong and she tells us that she wasn’t a fan of what her friend told her about Marco. Find out what’s really going on in this Second Date Update!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Second date update on intern John and Your Morning Show.
Dating in twenty twenty five isn't a word poopy. It's
just whether you meet somebody in person, whether you meet
him online, it's just a lot of not good. So
that's why when you think something is going well and
you think there's a vibe and they stopped talking to you,
we try to see exactly what's going on. Marco, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
So let's kind of walk through this. You and Felicia
first met or became aware of each other.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
How.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
We messed on hinge? Actually okay? And what about Felicia
made her stand out on the dating apps?

Speaker 4 (00:36):
I mean she was just like, I mean, obviously really pretty,
but also you know, super funny and warm, and you know,
we just hit it off, like right from the beat,
even even before we met, just over texting.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Gotcha. And it's one thing I wanted to clarify real quick.
Just reading your email, you had said that you had
plans fall through. So your first date, you guys went
to the Caps game last Wednesday? Correct, Yeah, I.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Me and a buddy bought tickets, but he ended up
having a work thing and he couldn't make it. Actually, yeah, exactly,
so it actually worked out.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
I had a spare ticket.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
And yeah, you know, I mean yeah hockey.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, no, real quick, it's the question, did you explain
to her that you and a buddy had bought tickets?
Because I would be worried if it was like you
hit her up on Wednesday? Hey do you want to
go to the game that you had another girl and
that fell through? Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:31):
No, No, she knew. I explained the situation to her
and she was totally cool with it.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Okay, so our first time seen her person is at
the CAFs game. How did things go? It wasn't really great.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
You know, we met up for drinks beforehand. That was fun.
When did the game?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Got some food.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Super overpriced by the way, Yeah, time. But the whole
I mean, the whole day was really really fun. And
I mean you know then after that, you know, we
went to dinner on Friday.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Night nice so twice and hours Yeah, yeah exactly.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
So you know, from my perspective, things seemed to be
going really well. We made plans to see each other
again this week, but uh, you know, since we since
we went out, I haven't heard from her.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Okay, since that Friday so, and so I'm gonna cut
you off. But so dinner on Friday, you picked her up? Correct,
that's right, open, you opened all doors, you pay for dinner.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
I did, Yes.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
After dinner, we dropped drop of her place, kissing the cheek.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
A little bit more than that, we actually kissed. We
actually kissed after the hockey game and then kissed again
after dinner.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Okay, so it was it's everything is certainly trending to
we're going to romance town.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yeah, I mean, you know I thought so. I was,
you know, I was pretty stoked and I thought things
were going really well.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
And you've not heard from her since last Friday?

Speaker 4 (03:01):
Correct, Yeah, you know after I dropped her off. Yeah,
she hasn't replied to my text and you know I
called her one time, but I'm not trying to blow.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Up her phone any I got.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So let's do this. Let's call her and try and
get her on because I'm curious to and yeah, first
date to a Capskin playoff hockey is it's a fantastic date. Hello,
I calling for Felicia. Please, girl, it's intern John. I

(03:36):
got Sauce and Rose here as well. Can I talk
to you on the show real quick? About something. It's
something bad. I've seen like two minutes of your time.
I don't worry. We're doing a second date. On date,
I have somebody on the other line, Marko. If you
want to say hello, Marco, say hello, cayfully nail that

(04:00):
and so here we are, Felicia. Marco reached out to us.
He had told us you guys matched on hinge. Went
to a Caps game last Wednesday, went to dinner last Friday,
had a little smooch at the end of the night.
In that I was supposed to hang out this week.
He is not hear from you. So we're trying to
see your side of the story and see where you're at.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Okay, Well, yes, we did go to the game and
dinner and everything was fun.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
We I thought we had clicked, but I was just really.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Turned off by the fact that it didn't seem like
he was very serious. How So, so Saturday, I'm actually
hanging out with my roommate and she had told me
she had matched with Marco and.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
They were making on hinge.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
Uh huh, uh huh. They also meet up.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Intro see Okay, and so I imagine Marco is not
the most common of names. Okay, so let me ask
you this.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
She told me she had matched with a Marco and
I said, that's so funny because I've been going on
dates with a guy named Marco Okay and she showed
me his profile. I knew it was the same Marco Okayean.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
So SUPI question, Fleisha, are you still on dating apps?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
No?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Because I thought the date went well, so I wasn't
actively using my dating apps.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Okay, Marco, your thoughts.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
I mean we'd only been on a couple of dates
and I didn't even know what was your roommate, So yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
I mean the odds are it is one of those
things that were of the odds. But tip to be
fair though, Okay, i' gonna put you guys, because I
got a bunch of thoughts in these Are you team
Marco or team Felicia eight seven seven, nine nine five

Text second date update on intern John Your Morning Show,
Second date updates on intern Sean in your Morning Show.

(06:01):
We talked to Marco and Plicia. They matched on Hinge
a few weeks ago, went to a Caps game last Wednesday,
went to a dinner on Friday. He thought things are
going well. I guess she wasn't thrilled that he also
matched with her roommate. It seems like after they matched
and was talking to the roommate as well. Whose side
do you on? Eight seven seven nine ninety five four

(06:22):
six st eight one to call nine ninety three three
eight at text. Let me ask you this, sauce you
are in the dating field. If you had the apps,
would you be upset if you went out with a
guy on a Friday and you found out that Saturday
he was messaging one of your friends.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
I would not, just because of the dating pool here,
especially it's so small, but also it's dating and it
was only two dates and we're not exclusive, and that's
what you have the apps for. And my therapist, I
mean she she is her PhD. She says, you should
not be just focusing on one person anyway when we
started dating, because then you tend to get an attachment
to them that you that might not be healthy.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Almost like you like, I'm this is the only person
I'm talking to you. I'm so invested. I'm gonna make
it work.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Especially if like you're newly like into dating and everything,
you might not.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Really know what you like.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
So you might just end up fixating on somebody that
might not just be for you, And that's okay. So
I've always said with dating like you you can casually date.
It's not like I don't mean like hooking up with people.
I mean like casually dating multiple people get to know
what you like.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Yeah, I think that's fair. So it's only two dates.

Speaker 5 (07:19):
Yes, they kissed, but I wouldn't go home and delete
my dating apps after two dates if I like, they
hadn't even had a conversation about how they felt about
each other.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Yeah, and I think you know, with with hinge and stuff,
you can get somewhat specific. But also it's not like
there's a good chance you and your roommate have similar interests.
I assume.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
So I've tons of people that my friends have matched with.
It's the dating pool here is very small. I don't
think people realize how small it is. And it's also
just like they didn't have a conversation. You don't really
know each other that well after two dates. Why would
I go back and delete that?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
I think that's fair. Yeah, let me go on Ashburn Julie,
good morning.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Him, morning girl, Felicia Wow, needs to calm down?

Speaker 4 (08:01):
Yeah, I mean in the in the nineties, in my.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Heyday when I was thin and looked really good.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Girl.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
We're just talking about this the other day, like, god,
Julie looks so good. Definitely the most beautiful Julian Ashbourn.
The we know, we're just talking about this really thank you,
thank you. Yeah, absolutely, But.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
Yeah, three or four guys on the go, and I
didn't tell them about each other.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
Wasn't any of their business until you get serious and
have that conversation.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
She needs to just calm down.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
And I think he dodged a bullet. Sure, yeah, I don't.
Just Julie, thank you for listening, to have a great day.
Thanks bye, And we're just talking to Ashbourn weekly. They
called us like, who's the best looking person? Ashburn like,
and they're like, oh, I mean, yeah, we knew that.
You want to make sure rose your thoughts with second
day update.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
I think if he intentionally sought out the roommate or
the friend, or if he had met the roommate her
friend and then that's with them, that would be a
more glaring red flag than just randomly kind of a
coincidence matching with your roommate.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
Yeah, it's only two dates in Yeah, yeah, I.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Mean I think maybe because it was so close to home,
it was more like like, how could you do this
to me?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
But I don't think that was intentional now. I think
to that point too, it'd be different if like he
mashed with you and asked for the information of your
hot friend in the photo I found your friend Instagram
and then we picked.

Speaker 6 (09:28):
Her up at her apartment or whatever, saw the roommate,
and then saw the roommate on the dating it was like, oh,
let me swipe on her because I thought she was
hot too.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
That would be a red flag, no doubt, let me
go in the dirty Bernie Tiffany, good morning, bye, good morning.
What do you want to say of that? With a
second date? Up date girl?

Speaker 2 (09:47):
So I think that Felicia should have asked him about
it when she, you know, the roommate had told her
that she had dated a Marco.

Speaker 7 (09:58):
It went out on a couple of dates, and maybe
she should have gave him like a chance to explain
himself with that situation. But also he shouldn't have been
on dating apps if he was trying to.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
Be exclusive with Felicia. Yeah, I think I may I
should have asked him to like where he how far
along Heath saw the process too? I think that's probably
a fair point. But yeah, yeah, I agree with that
one hundred percent. Tiffany, thank you for listening. Have a
great day.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Thank you too.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
By Yeah, dating is it's horrendous. It's just it's not
a fun fun thing. I can't say this on the air.
No hold on, No, so I did. I did like
an ask me anything thing. You guys will laugh at
this because somebody asks if I hold on, how many
of these I do? And I was like, that's never

(10:50):
my life happened. But because they heard I just texted
you to they heard somebody say that. I was like,
I don't know who's saying that. They've never met me.
Oh yeah, that would ever happen now, And like if
you do whatever, I don't have the poise for that.
I don't have the confidence.

Speaker 8 (11:07):
Like when I my friend told me, not just that,
I don't think you would know that that the other
people would be interested in that idea, even if they
told you blank, do.

Speaker 1 (11:21):
You mean there's only one of me? Doesn't how is
that gonna work? I was like, that's not that's not true.
But that's also like that why dating because like I
don't know. I was like, this is why dating sucks.
That's not if you were, we could hear all day talking. Yeah,
it's it is what it is. Anyway, if you want
to do a second date update. D ms are open
