we're doing great. We're doing reallygood. Are the kids ready for
(00:45):
Halloween? Are you guys going tohave a family costume theme? I'm sure
we are. Usually I usually gettold when I'm wearing and easily ends up
on my bed somewhere with a notethat says, can you please put this
on? So I'm sure that's howthis year will go Again. My wife
is I don't know what she's gotup her sleep, but I'm sure she's
got something for sure. The kidslove and we do, you know,
dress up as a family and gotrick or treat and all that kind of
(01:08):
stuff. They're still at a funage, so I'm sure we'll do that.
Oh they're adorable. You guys aregonna have a lot of fun.
And I got to tell you,I was living through everything that you shared
a few months ago when you andyour wife went to Italy. It looked
like a dream getaway. Yeah itwas. We had a good time.
That's been a while. I'm almostready to go back. But yeah,
(01:30):
we love to travel. We lovedexperiencing different cultures and getting out of our
comfort zone a little bit. Soit's it was a lot of fun.
We specifically love Italy, so yeah, we're excited to keep traveling and take
the kiddo's and show them the worldtoo. It's a lot of fun.
So I kind of got into likeTikTok and reels this year, and I
(01:52):
feel like, honestly, I usedyour dancing in the country the most for
like every TikTok video. Nice itis so it is such a Yeah,
I ended up using it on oneof my favorite videos that I created when
the Bruins were playing the Winter Classicat Fenway earlier this year, and I
(02:14):
got the best video of them walkingout of the Red Sox dugout to dancing
in the country. Oh that's great. I love to hear that. Thanks
for jamning that one. Yeah, you were like the Bruins anthem. But
speaking of Boston, we're so excitedthat you're here Saturday night at the House
of Blues for Corey Fest with theCorey C. Griffin Foundation, one of
(02:35):
my favorite, I gotta tell you, one of my favorite charity events that
they do all throughout the year. And in the past, Chase Rice,
Cole Swindell, Lee Rice, OldDominion have all been a part of it.
And when I was chatting with ColeSwindell and Chase Rice just a few
months ago, they both asked mewho was going to play Corey Fest this
year because they were trying to comeback to do it. Oh that's amazing.
(03:00):
We're super excited. Yeah, thisis it's gonna be really special and
we're just honored to be a partof it. And uh, that's good
to hear that. The that theartists loved it so much they love to
come back, So it'll be Iknow, it's gonna be a great time.
Yeah, you're gonna have so muchfun. You're gonna love Corey Fest.
So I don't know if you havetime, but if you get to
Boston early, what is something you'rehoping to do? Ah? You know,
(03:23):
just I used to just walk aroundand see where the day takes me.
Maybe I'll go to the Common areaor hit the trail or yeah,
we'll see. I don't know.I kind of just get up and see
where the day takes me. SoI'll probably just end up doing that.
So I'm open to suggestions. Iknow there's some good food and stuff like
that, so I'll definitely be eatingeating well and it'll be good to be
(03:46):
in Boston. I'll throw something upon one on one seven the Bulls Instagram
story to get some recommendations for you, because I mean, I have my
favorite, but I always love hearingwhat other people suggest. But are you
a Fenway Frank type of guy orclam At shout a guy? Probably a
Finway for Rank kind of guy,But you know, it depends on the
(04:06):
day. You'll be right there atFenway. You can always probably go in
and like, I know you've playedthere before, but yeah, you could
go take a little tour revisit. But yeah, it's going to be a
great night. And I'm loving yournew single in the music video that you
shared for back Then Right Now,really really cool. Oh, thank you
very much. I appreciate it.It's been really fun getting to put out
(04:27):
this is new music, you know, and I've been working on a bunch
of new stuff, so this iskind of the first one off the batch
of these songs that I'm just excitedto get out there. So it's been
really fun playet live and getting thefans reaction. And I'm glad you like
it. Thanks for saying that, yeah, because I always feel like that.
I'm like I would love to goyou know, back in time,
you know, I know, Imean at least for a little while.
(04:49):
Yeah, it's like life was simplerback then. So you've done a lot
this year with the solo album andtouring with Keith Urban. What is something
you'll take away from with the yearending soon with twenty twenty three ending,
what's something you'll take away from thisyear? Oh, you know, that's
a good question. Probably just gratitude. You know, this has been an
(05:11):
incredible year of building and getting tobe back out like full steam ahead on
the road. It's been three years, you know, since the pandemic.
I really haven't been able to kindof get in my groove and my rhythm
here on tour on the road playingshows, and so this year that was
certainly not the case. I thinkwe ended up playing like eighty five shows
this year. So we feel reallygood and I'm just grateful. I'm grateful
(05:34):
to be able to be out heredoing it still. I'm grateful for the
fans that show up. And it'sjust been a lot of good a lot
of good energy, a lot ofgood memories this year. So I'll definitely
leave with gratitude. Yeah, oh, I love that answer. And I
know you mentioned earlier that your family'sready for Halloween. So what's the candy
that you guys will be handing outthis year at the Hubbard House? Ooh,
(05:57):
some sort of Reese's peanut butter upof some capacity. That's probably my
go to personally, but you know, we're sling it all. And what's
your go to Halloween movie? Recently? I saw Edward Scissorhands and that kind
of took me back, So we'llgo with that one for now. So
do you and your wife put upyour Christmas tree before or after Thanksgiving?
We put up our tree before thankssorry after Thanksgiving, but we usually put
(06:23):
lights on the trees outside before Thanksgiving. It's pretty crazy. I love that.
And last question, we have alot of listeners that are always traveling
to Nashville. So if they stopby the FGL hose, what is something
they need to order? You gotto get the burger because they got the
best burger in town. I dobelieve. So Broadways so fun, It
(06:45):
is fun, always so great chattingwith you. So we'll see you on
Saturday night and get ready to experiencethe best night with Corey fest. Thank
you. I'm so excited. Ican't wait. And we'll see you something.
