Speaker 1 (00:12):
So I went back to Paris for fashion week, and
when I say that, I feel like a pretentious asshole
because it's not totally true. I went back to Paris
for my version of Paris Fashion Week, which is the
L'Oreal Paris Fashion Show. So I don't know a ton
(00:35):
about any fashion week. It's just always like you're going
to a city or getting a reservation and people are like, well, yeah,
well it's going.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
To be busy. It's fashion week.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
And it does make me want to punch people in
the tit, but that's a side conversation because L'Oreal is
an outlier in that in that I believe that it
kicks it off. So it's like a launching fashion show
for fashion week. And the reason for me it's great
is because Loreal is a brand for all women and
(01:07):
they're very pronounced and repeated. Tagline is because you're worth it.
I'm worth it, just hashtag worth it, which I love.
And if you are, if you have the pleasure of
watching the show online or you're in the show, you
know that it's all ages, races, geographical origins like where
(01:31):
people live all over the world. It's global, all shapes,
all sizes, all cultures all everything, like, there are gymnasts,
there are actresses, there are models, there is a woman
who has a Swarovsky crystal bedazzled prosthetic leg. They're you
(01:55):
just see so many stunning, amazing women and they really
are are supporting each other. And it's not just a
line that the housewives say. It's an essence, a culture,
a fact. You feel it when you're there no one's looking,
and meaning when you're backstage and you just everyone's just
(02:15):
in that mode and that energy. So it's shout out
to Loriel for being able to nurture and foster and
perpetuate that vibe because it does not feel forced at all.
Speaker 2 (02:26):
It feels empowering, it feels real.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
I've made real friendships there and gotten to know people
that I would never have known what they're really like.
And I mean, when no one's looking. Integrity is what
you do when no one's looking. So I don't know
or care what you've ever heard about Heidi Klum or Eva.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Longoria or.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
A model that you probably haven't heard of, but if
you know about fashion, you've heard of her, and modeling
you've heard of her.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Coca Rosha.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
I think it is how you pronounce her last name,
or Viola Davis or Jane Fonda who will say hi
to anyone who walks next to her, stands next to her.
Or a woman named Belinda who's a singer from Mexico
City that fell last year. Like these are people that
(03:18):
are so incredibly nice. An actress that's in a show
called I think Supergirl. The actress who's in the movie
Superman is like the Hawk, and she was in the
Last of Us Isabella or Isabella, Yeah, just like and
her mom. Like the people are so amazing. Okay, Heidi
(03:38):
Klum is so nice. When I tell you that, I
just got a voice note from her, unrelated to this
conversation and unrelated to Paris Fashion Week, and she left
me the nicest voice note Eva Angoria, who's texted me
and then called me. But like goes out of her way,
and it's not like performing. It's not so I say
(03:59):
this at all. Like they have enough press in their
life and media attention, and I just got to say, like,
what an amazing experience. The first year, I cried in
the back of a limo because I couldn't believe I
was even part of it. I was just so exasperated
and gasping. Now, I wasn't like, act like you belong.
(04:20):
I felt like I did somewhat belong. I was comfortable
there and I understood it, but it's still had the
value of just amazing women people. I got to know
some different influencers that were on the trip at Chiang
I had met at the Sports Illustrated show. She is alive,
(04:41):
she is fun, she is a positive force. A man
named Adee, who is an Indian man who is a
self taught makeup influencer.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
He was there.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
He was very, very kind and I enjoyed him. He's
seems like a nice, humble person. As a baby. I
really connected with Meredith Duxbury. I think she's she's a
beauty influenzo. She's like petite. I thought she was like
this big, tall gl amazon by the videos and blonde,
and she's jet black hair and a really just kind person.
(05:12):
I had a really nice experience, and it was different
last time. I was so like manic about being there
that it was like I went to the caviar baked
potato and I went and took everym for truffles, and
I brought my whole team and it was like the
biggest deal that ever happened to me, and it still was,
but I paced myself better. You find that with anything,
like the first week you're learning how to snowboard, you're
like exhausted, bang up, and you feel like you've been
(05:33):
through a war, and then as you get used to it,
you don't feel like you've been through a war. So
with this, I went out one night and went really
hard and drank and did feel like some version of
shit the next morning, but was able to sleep later.
It was a fourteen hour flight to get there, which
should have been eight to nine, but there was an incident,
a medical emergency. We had to stop at JFK and
(05:54):
be there for hours, and so it took us fourteen
hours total, and guess what, I was fine, which is
a sign of my times, which I'm going to get
into right after this. But like I feel that travel
is a time when you realize where you are at
in your life. Like if you're super irritable and bitchy
because something happens, you have a short fuse. Maybe at
(06:15):
home things aren't going great. Maybe saying's not going great
with your kids or your marriage, or your exhaustion level
or your sugar levels or you're drinking or you're eating
or all the things and whatever it is. This life
in Florida for me has settled me in a very
balanced way where I love my beach walk, I am happy.
(06:36):
My daughter says, I'm less irritable, I'm nicer, I'm just happy.
Or she's happier. We're happier. Like so, when I'm traveling
and it takes me fourteen hours instead of nine, I
was fine, which is crazy because people were reacting to
it like, oh my god. Like when I got to Lorel,
They're like, oh god, we heard you went through like hell.
And I was like, I'm fine, you know. And I
was traveling with people for my team, and they were
(06:59):
also chill about it for the most part. The fourteen
hours act sometimes I find. I was talking to someone
who works at ME about the fact that the fourteen
(07:20):
hours and the jet lag in Paris it's easier than
La For some reason, LA is whack. You wake up
at four o'clock in the morning, you feel like dehydrated
and zombish and weird, and I don't feel that in Paris,
Like I hit the nail on the head with that
jet lag. It's probably because we didn't arrive at seven
in the morning. We arrived at like one. You play
straight through, you go to bed late, you have to
(07:40):
stay out late and dance and hang out because then
you can sort of like sleep late enough to make
it work. I don't know, it just worked. It just worked.
I came back not on fumes. I had one big
night out there, but I didn't overplay my hand.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
I didn't go bananas.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
I just was there to sort of work and have
a pleasant time and shop a little bit and eat
and it was just a great trip.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
It's a great trip.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
So suffice said to say that my Paris Fashion Week
is one event. I don't really go to fashion Week.
I used to get invited to a lot of things.
I still do, I just don't really go. I just
don't know why. It just feels like it becomes people's
entire personality. Like I'm very into fashion, and it's the shows,
and everybody acts like they have to go and it's
like a big job. I've heard people like, oh, I'm
(08:25):
so exhausted. I was in New York for fashion Week,
and like, if you're being paid to go to each show,
then great, Like then it's a job, and I get it,
but like, if you're just going to look at clothes
like to be exhausted by it and act like it's
a plight is just funny to me. For some reason,
I just feels weird if I acted like it was
like this plight to go to fashion week so for Paris,
(08:48):
and I wasn't paid to go to parispashion Actually that's
not true.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
I'm a model.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
They did ask me to sign something because I would
be paid as a professional model. And now I have
like model friends. I'm sorry. There are models there that
like out to me and invite me to things, and
they're like world famous supermodels, and they I don't know.
I think they think I'm a model.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
I do. I think I.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Mean Eva Longoria, you know, I think she thinks I'm
a model. I think Heidi Kluhone now thinks some a model.
I just think I'm a model that doesn't go to
fashion week unless it really applies to me.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
So I don't know.
Speaker 1 (09:21):
Maybe as a model, a supermodel, I'll have to start
going to more events. But by and large, whether it's
a movie premiere of freaking candy store opening, I have
to go because I'm so like excited and in love
with it, or it's for Britain or it's work.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
But I don't know. I just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Why do I feel like because you know, back to
my like thing with like being dressed by a stylist,
But then you're being dressed by a stylist, So do
you have style? Like if if you're dressed by the
designer and yes, you like it, you say I like it,
you put it on, and it is the way you
wear something. I will say that which going to get
to that in one second. It is the way you
(10:02):
can rock something orware something or be confident about it.
But I've seen people that don't look like themselves at
all because of the way that a stylist dressed them.
So like then they're on the best dress list, then
they're at the Met Gala, but like, was it because
of their own style or was she the stylist beyond it?
At the met Gala or on the red carpet, they're
effectively just like a mannequin.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
So I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (10:22):
But then again, I've got a series right now on
social media about what the fuck is in my closet
and why? Because it's like a clown show in there.
So then let's get to fashion week and who attends
and who's like really popping off. So so Laurence Sanchez
is at all aspects of fashion Week. I feel like
this is her sort of social debutante glow up. She
(10:50):
has always been in the background of celebrity because she
was on TV but wasn't like in the forefront. For
the most part, she was I think she was on
the entertainment news and maybe even news news, and then
had a very powerful agent, a husband and a professional
football either husband or just life partner or you know,
(11:11):
she has a shares a.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
Child with him.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
So now you know, by being with Jeff Bezos, but
truthfully by him being with her too, they rose each
other up. It just became because he's been married for
years to a wonderful woman. But they because she had
some version of celebrity and because she's you know, hot
and sexy, they kind of elevated each other's games. And
now they're like social fixtures and they're friends with the Kardashians,
(11:35):
and they're in Europe and they're at fashion Week and
she's like walking.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
You know, she's a global a globally known.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Person and he was they were wearing like a matching
gray ensemb like I don't know what brand she had on.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
I forget.
Speaker 1 (11:50):
I think it was like Chaparelli or something, but like,
go on with your bad self. She's rock and Paris
Fashion Week with Jeff Bezos. He's in his beautiful long
ray double breasted whatever you call that long coat, and
like so they are like a new permanent fixture on
like in fashion and sort of like lifestyle, like jet
(12:14):
setter circles. So there's a new And then Megan Markle
busted out for Balenciaga and this cream like it's almost
like a wrap coat and it's like a sand people outfit,
like you know what I mean, like one of those
like long, drapey almost like urban Zen Donna Karen or
a Norma Kamali but not tight, but like you know,
drapey uh outfit. And she her face was glowing, she
(12:36):
had her hair slicked back, like she's now gonna be
like a fashion fixture. I think that's a good name,
fashion fixture. You could tell that like this is what
she really has wanted, not to be in the royal family,
not to really just be an actress on like a
tertiary network that's like not on the forefront. She wants
(12:58):
to be like on her her own, standing on her
own two feet, like in fashion, known for herself, you know,
and not just for being like in jeans and a
white fresh shirt as like the polo player's wife. So
she's like had, She's having her own debutante ball coming
out party. So fashion week, I guess, is a place
where a lot of different vibes are launched. Charlie's Thorne
(13:21):
came out and rocked some outfit with like her mid
drift showing and.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Like this like bearded necklace.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Like people her fashion Week is becoming like the new
Academy Academy Awards in ways, like people are fucking busting
out because no one watches television, but they do watch
these images and these videos. So you're gonna see Megan
Markle in Balenciaga more than you might see someone at
the Golden Globes or something, because people aren't really watching
TV anymore. So anyway, fashion Week was fashioning, and and
(14:03):
Kim Kardashian sported what people are calling Chris Jenner hair
like a a short pixie cut, and I don't know,
I believe I spoke to Chris Appleton and he was
going to do her hair in Europe. I believe yes,
So I'm sure that he did the pixie cut. People
are saying that that's her hair underneath. That makes sense,
you could like tie it down and put that on top.
(14:24):
But you know what it is, It's doesn't matter people
like it. It doesn't matter if you like it or
don't like it. It matters that she takes chances, like
she's not afraid to take chances. She would shave her
head bald, and like, you know, you have to take chances,
and I think you don't have to do anything. But
I just think it's interesting like that, Look, you know,
she could be blonde tomorrow. Have you know black and
white skunk care for all anyone cares. It's just like
(14:45):
she's taking risks and she's a fashion icon, so she
but people were saying she was channeling Chris, which she
did look a lot like Chris. Speaking of the Kardashians,
rage a like they're fighting back, and I think it's
the first time they've taken legal action against him.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
I don't know how reggious they are overall.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
I would imagine a fair amount, but they're like, fuck
around and find out he's not gonna want to pay
any of those lawyer's fees. And he's talked for so
long that I think sometimes people run their mouths off
and then the fuck around and find out is like,
all right, it's cool till it's not, and you fucking
slap me enough, I'm gonna put you in the ground,
you know.
Speaker 2 (15:26):
So I don't know what happened.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
It's I don't follow it, but I know that ray J,
they were like, okay, and listen, they're probably not fucking around.
They are. They're not fucking around Crew. I doubt they're
suing him if they don't have a decent reason. They
did take Black China down when she tried to fuck
with them too, so they are the car Kennedy's. There's
(15:51):
a new version of like the pen paling with men,
which is you go out with them, you like each other.
It's established you like each other. Everyone agrees they like
each other. You're gonna go out again. Things men get
lack a daisical and stuck, and so they'll they'll start
to like they liked you.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
They know they liked you.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
They connected with you, which is why they want to
see you again, but something happens between then and the
next date, and they just want to start pmpaling. But
like deep penpaling penpaling, checking in once twice a week
is fine, Like hey, I just check it and just
hope you're well. I can't wait to see you in
a couple of weeks or whatever. That is right, But
like then, you're texting them every single day. They're telling
you things about themselves, or telling you things about their kids,
or telling you things about their ex wife. They're telling
(16:34):
you about their schedule. They need a vacation. Life is
worth living. I like to be present. I'm a scorpio.
I work here, I'm stressed out, I'm going there. I'm
doing this. My daughter said that, my mother said that,
my wife said that, happy holidays. Did you have an
ice holiday? You're gonna have an ice okay? And now
you have known someone for four or five six weeks
and you haven't seen them again. It's like, dude, I
don't want to make this kind of investment. I need
(16:56):
three dates on a board to know if I want
to make this kind of investment. I don't care about
your wife at all, or your kids or anything. You're
going through. Until I know if I'm investing in you. Okay,
until I know if I'm investing you, I find it
to be so stupid. I find men who are typically
decent business people compared to women. Sorry for that sweeping statement,
but by and large, so like, what are you guys
(17:17):
doing making this kind of like investment in someone that
you don't know, like talking to them about like fears, hopes, dreams, kids, wives, vacations. No,
there could be a very brief light and bright check
in and I'll see you the next time and once
we like connect like each other, love each other, sleep
with each other. I don't want to invest in you.
I don't want to make that kind of investment. I
(17:38):
don't got that kind of time. Anyone want to tell
me how you get a dent in your head that
lasts for three days?
Speaker 2 (17:47):
I'm here to listen.
Speaker 1 (17:49):
If I put a hat on it's too tight, or
I get a massage, I have a dent in my
head for three days?
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Is that dehydration? Is that age?
Speaker 1 (17:55):
Is at wrinkles? Is that being in Florida and humidity?
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Is that? What the fuck is that? Like?
Speaker 1 (18:03):
I literally had a dent in my head for three days,
So I don't know what to tell you. How annoying
is it when you have friends that are like luggage
that you've had for so long that you just have
this luggage. It's been used, it's worn out, you've tried
to renovate it, and you're just like, this is fucking luggage.
And I don't mean to be mean, Like friends that
are so fucking annoying that like you, just they were
(18:24):
annoying a long time ago, but now as you're older,
you're just like, wait, now I'm stuck with this fucking
annoying luggage. Like how do you deal with that? How
do you deal with friends that like you care about
and you love and you yes, I guess it's like
having an aging parent, Like you just have to deal
with it, But oh my god, is it insufferable. Sometimes
friends that you're just like you are so fucking annoying,
(18:47):
you know, the ones that are always twenty five minutes late,
always always a problem, always ask dumb questions, always like
tone deaf, always like politically and correct, just always just
like never get it right. And of course you're perfect.
You are perfect, So it's hard when you're perfect and
you have friends that are like old, annoying luggage.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
It's very difficult.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Another thing I'd like to mention in friendship and in
dating is I believe in astrology.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
I never want to say it.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Out loud because it feels like you're a loser, and
it feels like you're a weirdo that needs to be
like living on asae enemas and giving massages lymphatic drainage
massages with eucalyptus lavender oil. But the truth is down
deep inside. I actually think that there's something to the
astrology thing. I actually think that sign compatibility is real
(19:40):
because I have actual evidence, Like my best best ride
or die friend, who I could travel with, who I love,
who I vibe with, who has a good tonal energy
for me, who I just could hang with forever. Sheh's
and annoy me is Pisces and that's my opposite sign.
Like we're water signs. It works really well together cancer too.
And I recently went on a date with someone who
(20:01):
is my opposite sign, and like, it worked really well.
It was really nice. It was just felt good. It
was just comfortable. There was no battling, no judgment. I
didn't despise the ground that they walked on the minute
that they sat down like they wore the right sign.
And I'm rarely matched with or meet someone with the
right sign. But when I do, I feel it. And yes,
they say there's rising and moon and I'm not that advance.
(20:23):
I'm just telling you I think there's something to astrological compatibility.
I really do. I mean, I'm a Scorpio. I'm a
super driven, passionate person. I'm slightly insane. I'm a sexual creature,
and that's what a scorpio is. Okay, that's what a
scorpio is. Aries men are fucking selfish, and I've proven
I've proven that to be true. Gemini men, they're one
(20:47):
way one minute and another way the next. I've seen
that in real time. Virgos are fucking ornery about things
that don't matter. I've seen that in real time Taurus
bull stubborn Leo. They think they're the fucking king of
the jung goal. I do believe in it. So you
can hate me and you cannot believe me, but I
think there's something to it.
