Speaker 1 (00:00):
Calling all my sweeties to the forefront. I'm your host,
mister Nan, and this is the keeping pone of Sweetish Show.
Welcome sweeties, Welcome back.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
I know it's been a few weeks since we've seen
each other.
Speaker 1 (00:13):
But have no fear.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
That's right. They're calling in and they are. They're running
a show.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
They always run a show, though. I'm so excited to
be talking to them one on one. They really are
the spearheaders of this community. I love them so much,
and I'm happy to sit down and talk with them.
JB who is our first caller?
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Hi, Samantha, how are you?
Speaker 3 (00:36):
I am great? I am great.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
I'm loving the hat. What did you do to the brim?
Speaker 3 (00:42):
I put some plos around it, and I put these
buttons I made at all of my stuff I custom once.
I bought them. But I'm singing them for for the cruise.
Speaker 1 (00:54):
Oh I love that.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
I love it for the cruise.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
I only I've been wearing the hat and and everything
else I'm saving for the cruise.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
That me too. I cannot wait. So tell me something.
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:10):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:11):
I just I tossed in turn. I was like, Lord,
please let her take me because I am so excited
to be here because every time you had a line,
I tried and tried to get the goals, but unfortunately
I couldn't make it because everybody copped out. So I say,
(01:31):
you know what, one day, I'm going to be able
to get on. I'm going to see her because I
didn't want to wait till February.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
But I made it. I made it. Look, you made
a year here, now I made it.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
So what I wanted to ask you about because I
know you follow God and you strongly find it, and
because of you, I strongly started to follow more and more.
I read more on every book. Last week when you
came on and I was packing the joke about you
showed another book and like hold on, Christ bought I
(02:04):
read them every day. I'm going from one to the other,
one to the other, and and I'm understanding more and
more and more a plate. And but the scary thing
is that what I'm reading is what's going on now,
what's happening?
Speaker 2 (02:22):
And I literally wrote a song about that. Yeah, what
we what we're reading in the Bible? Like I was saying,
I wake up and read my daily word, but I'm
seeing it in daily Yes, it's so true.
Speaker 6 (02:32):
Yeah, I see.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
I keep one of the bathroom because when I get
up inside, it's it's quiet. Although I live about myself,
it's quiet for some reason. I don't turn anything on, yes,
so if I turn something on in the living room,
I can't hear it in my in my bathroom, so
I read and it's peace. And I learned to also
(02:54):
be okay being by myself when I'm home and part
when I went off from work, because at one time
I I just had to have somebody around me. I
just had to be with somebody. I had to go out.
Speaker 6 (03:06):
Now I just come home.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
And I learned it because at first I could not understand, Okay,
why would you want to be by yourself? But I
learned how to love myself at once. For the time
I didn't. Yeah, but I'm comfortable now. But I have been.
I remember I sent you a message and you asked
me back while a month ago, and I was asking
(03:32):
about dating itself because I've been divorced since my son
was nine and he's thirty five as a fat day,
thirty thirty five.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
So it's been a long time.
Speaker 3 (03:45):
Okay, Well, yeah, so I've been by myself and I
because I was still holding on to anger from from
the abuse. So and you, you you trying to encurse
me to let the new person that was trying to
talk to me lett him in. I couldn't.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I couldn't do it.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
I tried, I really tried, and I stopped. I stopped calling.
I stopped calling because one, he's a little bit older
than men. I'm fifty nine and a half and he's
sixty two. That's the age having a thing to do
with it. But he was setting his ways. He liked
to watch family, feel so I was confused when when
(04:29):
the call he wanted to watch family and watch the moves.
So I found myself basically going back many many years
of being controlled.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Mm hmm, got it.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
So I gave up, that gave up all.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
Listen. I think you saw the signs.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
And you know, a lot of times we go through
things and we try to open up to something new.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
You know, your deal breakers.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
You know, if it felt like you were repeating your
past for you, you know, well, I think that that's
good for you. You know that you were able to
see that.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Yeah, I just and my son, he said, Mom, would
you like for me to call him? I'm like, no,
I'm fine, And to be honest with you, I am
I'm fine. It's been so long that I am fine. Uncomfortable, Yes,
I just I just can't start all over them, and
I pass off to anybody that's trying to do it.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
But it's been so long for me to I just know,
I totally understand. I'm gonna pull up a scripture for you.
And it's funny. I just read this to someone else
on a second.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
And you has the best title of your show, I love.
And the thing is that I watched Sisters and Fatima
every day.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
Really every day.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
I'm watching us c R in now, and I mean
watching like because I always pull something from each of
them and I have to go back, and then I
go back and I pull something else.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
All right, it is Are you ready?
Speaker 7 (06:07):
I'm ready.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
It's first Corinthians, chapter seven, Corinthians, chapter verse eight through nine. Nine, Okay, yes,
And it says I say, to those who aren't married
and to widows, it is better to stay unmarried, just
as I am. But if they can't control themselves, they
should go ahead and marry. It's better to marry than
(06:30):
to burn with lust.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
And there was another version that I that also talked
about it's better to stay single so that you can
honestly honor God and focus on God with an undivided heart,
and if you don't have to deal with the anxieties
and the worldly troubles of marriage, and that was very
It's just stuck out to me because you look around
and everybody's pushing you to get married, you know, but
(06:54):
they don't talk about all the things that come along
with it. You know, If you can control yourself and
stay focused on God and live within his will, sometimes
that is the best thing for you.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
But if you can't, then it's best to get married.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
But I think that you should definitely just focus on yourself.
The fact that you are able to be by yourself
is something that is so important. My mother taught me
at a very young age. You must learn to be
by yourself.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
You can't look for other people to make you happy,
and that is something that you have mastered. And you
are far ahead of people who are looking for love
in all the wrong places.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
So keep seeking Jesus missing that. I want to thank
you so much for your support. I'm so glad we
got to talk today and I have this hell. Don't cry,
it's only because.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
It's only because you make it. It makes sense how
I feel. But everybody else keep asking me to try again,
but I really don't want to.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Yeah, and you don't have to. That's the thing. This
is your life and you only get it once.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Okay, And and I'm I'm good and I'm blessed you are.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
You are more than you even realize it. Thank you
so much, miss Samantha. And I'm so glad I got
to talk to you today.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
Okay, all right, you have.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
A wonderful day. Hi. How do you pronounce your name?
Speaker 8 (08:19):
Sarah is good?
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Sarah? Okay, awesome, Sarah. How are you doing?
Speaker 8 (08:25):
I'm good? I'm so excited? Oh my god?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Wow?
Speaker 8 (08:30):
Wow? Do you remember the person called every time calls
your big sister?
Speaker 1 (08:35):
It's me? That's you. Also, Hey, lady.
Speaker 8 (08:42):
Nice, My English is not bad.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
But from where are you from?
Speaker 8 (08:48):
Belgium?
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Belgium?
Speaker 3 (08:50):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (08:51):
That's incredible. Wow. Yeah, so I'm have no idea how
reach was Belgium?
Speaker 8 (08:58):
Yeah, thank you so much by having me here. I'm
so happy. I was waiting for this moment for well.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
I am so glad we guests are today.
Speaker 8 (09:09):
Yes, you are really truly aspiration for me, so.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Yeah, thank you, thank you. What's on your mind?
Speaker 8 (09:22):
Okay? I have one question. I wrote my question because, yeah,
how do you know when it's really God's voice guiding you?
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Sarah? That's a good question.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
It's so funny because a lot of times when we
are steadying our prayer walk and talking to God, we
can start thinking things and it can be us trying
to guide ourselves and not letting God guide us. And
I think the telltale sign is when when you when
you're go in a certain direction and you're listening to
(10:00):
the voice. If things go in a smooth way, then
you know it's God's voice, you know. But sometimes when
we try to steer it and take it into our
own hands and we're running into obstacles and like why
did these things keep happening?
Speaker 1 (10:12):
It's because we're out of the will of God.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
So I think, whenever you pray, pray, God, please help
me to discern my voice in your voice, because I
want you to take control of my life.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
And I think you will start.
Speaker 2 (10:26):
As you continue to grow, you will continue to know
for sure that's his voice, you know.
Speaker 6 (10:32):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Yeah, not amazing.
Speaker 6 (10:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (10:34):
And one one question, one more question, Sorry.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
Do you hope.
Speaker 8 (10:41):
What do you hope your sweetest carried in the hurt
when after listening to you?
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yeah, you know what, that's a great question.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
I hope that after my sweeties listened to me, that
they when they're inspired. I will hope that they are
inspired to walk differently, to walk boldly, to be confident
in Christ and in themselves and just know that they
are made in His image and they are beautiful. You know,
a lot of times we can walk through this world
(11:13):
insecure because of all the different images that we see
and thinking that we're not.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Living up to those images.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
But when you live up to the true image, the
one that you're made in, which is God, nothing can
hold a candle to that, you know what I'm saying.
So I think that I just want the sweeties to
just know that one staying true to Him and saying
true to yourself and being positive, leading with kindness and
loving your neighbors.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
You love yourself, which is the golden rule.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
And we all know that the greatest of everything is love,
and we can continue to love on each other, we
can change this wicked world. Yeah man, thank you, Hey man,
you're welcome, said no, thank you.
Speaker 1 (11:52):
What time is it? In Belgium.
Speaker 8 (11:55):
Oh now it's almost eleven pm.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Oh wow, well, thank you so much for staying up
to chat with me. I faoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, from
your big sister. Thank you, Miss Tucker.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I'm on, Oh, Chrystal.
Speaker 9 (12:15):
Why do I feel like I've won the lottery? Oh
my god?
Speaker 1 (12:20):
How beautiful? How are you doing? I'm wonderful. How are
you doing?
Speaker 3 (12:24):
I'm doing good.
Speaker 10 (12:26):
I'm at work, but I got off the clock for you.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Thank you, Thank you so much. I love that. What's
going on?
Speaker 8 (12:37):
Not a whole lot of her.
Speaker 10 (12:39):
I live in Virginia.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Okay, yeah, I just dropped.
Speaker 10 (12:43):
I have a twenty year old at an eighteen year old.
My daughter is down here in your neighborhood. She dropped
all wow in your Expelman. So she's wow her best life.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Yes, yes she is. And it's an incredible college to
congress to her.
Speaker 10 (12:58):
Yeah, she's feeling myself right now.
Speaker 9 (13:00):
So yes, yes, but I just want to tell you that,
you know, I just love everything about you.
Speaker 10 (13:07):
I just.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
You know.
Speaker 10 (13:09):
I was late to the game of watching sisters. My
mom and my sister would say.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Are you watching sisters?
Speaker 8 (13:14):
I'm like, no, I'm not watching sisters. I'm not.
Speaker 10 (13:16):
I watched it, but I'm not watching sisters.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Oh yeah, they haven't have not so it's that thing. Yes, yes,
but when I started watching.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
I was like, oh my god, Fatima. I fell in
love with your character. But then when I follow you, I.
Speaker 10 (13:32):
Started to research the person and I mean you You're
just awesome. I mean such an inspiration too.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
Thank you. That means so much to me. Yes, you
so Muchody.
Speaker 10 (13:44):
You know that a young a young woman can look
up to. I mean showing them that you know, success
looks different because you do promote that success looks different.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
For different people.
Speaker 10 (13:55):
Everybody doesn't have the same path.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
And I just love all.
Speaker 10 (13:58):
That about you. You know, the foundation. I will support
whatever you know.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Thank you. You have a kid's necklace sign.
Speaker 3 (14:07):
I got your kids nextlist. Yes, I love it, and
I will be thank you. I will be on the boat.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
We're gonna have a time. Yes, Yes, I cannot wait
to meet you in real life.
Speaker 10 (14:20):
Well, you know I came to I wasn't you know.
I wasn't a fan the first live, but the second
live I didn't meet you in Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
In Atlanta, yes, at the Fox Theater.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
That's right, thank you?
Speaker 1 (14:34):
Did you enjoy yourself.
Speaker 10 (14:36):
I enjoyed it immensely, travel by myself.
Speaker 7 (14:39):
All my friends were shocked.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
They was like when they saw the pictures, they was like.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
What, like, yes, yes, we had a time. That's amazing.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
We have some more live shows coming up, so I
think you'll be in your area too, if I'm not mistaken.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
So I would love to see you again before February.
Speaker 10 (14:56):
Yeah, yes, yes, please please please come to Virginia.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
You know, not a lot happen.
Speaker 10 (15:03):
You have to travel other places, you know, but you
come to Virginia, we would appreciate it absolutely. Yeah, yeah,
thank you, thank you for I put a pluge in
for you wherever you go. You want to thank you.
I told my Girlma's daughter, who's a student there, she
cares to see you.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
She was so would that means so much.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Something that you said that really stuck out was you
fell in love with my character, but then you looked
into who I was, And something that is so important
to me is my character as Crystal. You know, Fatima
pools people in, but then I want to make sure
that I'm starting over Crystal properly so that people can
be inspired in that way as well.
Speaker 1 (15:41):
So that means so much.
Speaker 10 (15:44):
And I'm putting a shameless plug in for a small buckethead.
Speaker 11 (15:49):
Okay, yeah, small, right now, it's just medium and lodge.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
Okay, a big fella, we need some small and medium
bucket hats.
Speaker 10 (15:58):
Okay, tell Big West, get owned it. But he said, okay,
I said, you know, I.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
Know you're walking closely with God. I will be. I
was brought up in the church and went to.
Speaker 7 (16:14):
Church all the time.
Speaker 10 (16:15):
I am still struggling with consistency though, because ever since COVID,
I have not been consistent in going to I should.
Speaker 8 (16:24):
Yeah, I'll go.
Speaker 10 (16:25):
With Sunday here and there, but you know, I can
come up with every excuse in the book.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Oh yeah, you know what. I understand it.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
And I think COVID definitely kind of changed everybody's routine,
you know, being used to going to church every Sunday
and then being forced to watch it from home on Sundays.
It got a little comfortable, you know, to do that.
But I think in order to one, we're not supposed
to forsake the assembly. It's just something about being in
the house of the Lord around people who are seeking
(16:54):
the same thing you're seeking, you know. But also even
consistency It's hard, you know, it's hard to be consistent
when the schedules changing and life is happening, children are
going to college.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
You know, it is so much happening.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
But one thing that I know God craves is intimacy
with us. And that's that one on one time, whether
it's us praying or spending time in our Bible, or
even joining groups and having friends that will lead us
in that way as well. Right now, I feel like
all my friends have found Jesus. We're following him. We're
waking up reading our Bibles, we're calling each other, can't
(17:32):
we guys said this today and.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
They were like, mm hm, God is working on you.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
And I think it's just important to make sure you
have good community. But also understand that the fact that
you're even thinking about it, that means God is tugging
at you, you know, and the devil doesn't have you,
because if he did, you wouldn't even be thinking about God.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
So you're on the right path.
Speaker 2 (17:54):
And just I say, just pick up a Sunday because
is there something that you do all the time you
make time for? Can you think of one thing besides
work that you always make time for?
Speaker 10 (18:03):
You know, it's shameless, Sissa Tima.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Okay, so the same way you show it for me
that for three a m.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
That is a shame.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
Well, I thank you for that.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
But we have to be careful not to make idols
of people, right, and it's crazy as it sounds.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
We have to be careful of that.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
And for me, I want to make sure that I
don't become someone's idol over God, you know, So definitely
pursue them the same way because he's gonna be like
the same way you're pursuing Crystal and Fatima and Isatima.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
And I need you to give me the energy I
got you. Ye, you got this. You're praying for you. Okay.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
You grew up at the church.
Speaker 10 (18:44):
I mean I went ye until COVID, so it's.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Yeah, it is yeah, yeah you will. Yes, yes, thank
you so much.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Great, this was great.
Speaker 10 (18:57):
Yes, it was so good to talk to you when
I saw that leak for this week.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Hello, that's right, yes, thank you.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
So much, thank you, thank you much.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
You have a wonderful day. To get back on the
clock now. Yeah, No, it's time to go home now,
miss a perfecta at end of the day. Yes, there
you go, all right, have a good email.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Appreciate you so much.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
You are so welcome. Thank you and thanks for your support. Seriously, Christina,
how are you doing today?
Speaker 3 (19:34):
I'm good?
Speaker 7 (19:35):
Thank you? How are you?
Speaker 1 (19:36):
I'm good.
Speaker 2 (19:37):
I'm excited to be talking to you all today, my sweeties.
Speaker 12 (19:41):
I am so excited because I was just talking to
my sister about how do you know it would be
so cool if she could like tap into like real
live people like I know you have.
Speaker 7 (19:51):
I watched I've been rocking since season one?
Speaker 12 (19:53):
Who who is your first guest from Yeah?
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Was not very first. Now he has his own show.
Speaker 12 (20:05):
Rocking with you from man. I was just like, I mean,
all these great people are on. It's such an inspiration.
It's such a blessing to watch, and I'm like, it'd
be really cool if she really get people like, you know.
Speaker 6 (20:14):
Like us.
Speaker 12 (20:14):
She was like, yeah, that would be dope. So I
was like, look at God in my conversation.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Come on night, Wow, that's amazing.
Speaker 7 (20:25):
Listen tell me about how I was like.
Speaker 12 (20:27):
People were talking about like, oh, yeah, I got you
know she posted she posted. I'm like, oh, I didn't
see anything, so I'm like whatever. Then I got the Lincoln.
I called my sister screaming. She was like, calm down,
calm Christina.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Where are you coming from.
Speaker 7 (20:43):
I'm from New York.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
I was just in New York for the US Open.
I love New York. Are you sneezing up there? Because
I started sneezing out of nowhere when I got to
New York. Okay, I don't know what was going on.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
What's going on? Not doing much?
Speaker 12 (21:00):
Just you know, it's just this is just really crazy.
You know, you are such an inspiration to so many people.
And again with the young lady who just said before,
like I started watching Sisters Big TP fan, and I
was like, you know, fell in love with the characters.
But then when you started the podcast, that's when I
really locked in.
Speaker 7 (21:18):
I was like, this woman is on to something right here,
Like she is putting it out there.
Speaker 12 (21:24):
And it's crazy because like you would come in my
spirit and I'm like, I don't know this woman, but
like God would just dropping of my spirits. So I'd
be like, let me just pray, you know whatever. I
don't know what's going on in the season of her life.
Let me just keep it in my press.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
And yeah, it's.
Speaker 7 (21:38):
Just so good.
Speaker 12 (21:38):
Like I manifested, I keep my journal with me. I've
seen you one and look at God.
Speaker 1 (21:44):
I'll tell you, Ronie, here we are. He is real.
I love that it is love that.
Speaker 12 (21:53):
So my question, I think, would be, what's bringing you
joy in this season?
Speaker 1 (21:58):
Mmm? What is that? Is so good? Christina? What is
bringing me joy this season?
Speaker 2 (22:04):
Honestly, this walk with God, man, it is bringing me
the most peace I've ever had.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
He is freeing me of things that I didn't even
know I needed.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Freedom that I didn't even know I needed freedom from. Also,
the people that I'm connecting with in this season of
my life has been amazing. I love how everyone is
really just seeking his face. I love how everyone is
going after what God has planted in their hearts.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
It's a season of getting it, getting to it.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
We're in our fourth quarter and I'm just excited about
what God has in store. I was at dinner with
some friends the other night and we went around the
table and talked about what we were grateful for and
what we were looking forward to as the year ended.
And one of my friends, Maya, said, I am in
a space of gratitude and I am continuously asking God
(22:58):
show me how good it can get. And I felt
that and I just feel like he's constantly doing that.
But yeah, that's what brains me the most joy.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Yeah, that's so good.
Speaker 7 (23:08):
That's so good.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah, thank you, Thank you so much. I appreciate your support. Yes,
I'm glad we got to talk today.
Speaker 12 (23:16):
Yes, I mean I saw you as Women Evolved with
that line, and my sister was like, we wanna wait,
I wait on the line we're going on the.
Speaker 1 (23:23):
Cruise, Like I am.
Speaker 7 (23:25):
I'm fangirling real hard right here.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Thank you. Did you enjoy Woman Evolved? Oh my god?
Speaker 7 (23:31):
It was just it was amazing.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
That it was.
Speaker 12 (23:35):
Oh, oh my god, I read the room just to
be amongst women who have the same mindset, focus, you know.
I mean, I've been a believer for a very long time,
but just to be in corporate worship is totally different.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
It's different.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Honeymoon, you're That's what I was just telling the last
young lady, Like forsaking the assembly, It's like it's something
about being in the same space as people who are
on the same path as you, and it just ignites something.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
Yeah, it's a real thing.
Speaker 7 (24:07):
It was.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
Oh, thank you so much. I'm glad we got to
tap in and talk. Yeah, Kevin wonderful day you too,
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Bye, Oh girl. I was to say, oh my girl,
Oh my god, Crystal, it's a joyous I am.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
The pleasure is all mine.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
Let me tell you, you're talking about your grandmother's name.
I was named after my mother.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
Up there we go.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
I didn't like my name all my life, so everyone
always called me Bertie. That's my nickname.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Really, I had an odd birdie too.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
Yes, my nickname calls me Bertie.
Speaker 13 (25:03):
Okay, I want to say it is a pleasure, and
I am so grateful from my heart to even talk
to you and to be selected on today.
Speaker 3 (25:18):
This came through prayer. I'm gonna say this because over
the weekend I constantly pray for you.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
I'm so much older than you, and your life has
resonated so much reminded me of myself and the things
that I've gone through. I've gone through a lot of
things that you have told the sweeties, and I set
(25:48):
back in a many days. You don't know, but the
tears just flow because I see God doing and moving
in your life so much, and I like what I see.
And that's why I constantly I think, people wonder, why
do you always talk about Crystal. Why do you always
watch Crystal? Why are you always doing it? You are
(26:11):
the only celebrity aside from Devout and Kadeen I have
gone on their podcast. You are the only one that
I've invested in. Cheer, Listen, Cheer. The things that you do,
I see your heart more so than anything. I see
(26:35):
that you pour out your heart to people. And I
want to say congratulations for Sisters and Zatima because when
Sisters started, I was. I started watching it when it
first came on, but I slacked off because I said,
but when you came on, it was something about you
(26:55):
that really touched my heart. And I say, it's something
about her. I gotta watch and so I begin to
watch it. And I had watched it up until today.
It is one of my shows. Everybody knows. Do not
call me on Wednesday at nine o'clock if you do,
I will not answer. And on the teamer I watches
(27:17):
it faithfully, have watched it so many times. Your life
has resonated with me because I was raised in church
from birth up and too the present. Yes, so many times,
as you become a teenager, you really want to do
what you want to do, but God always will pull
me back, and no matter what me and my friends
(27:38):
would do, I will always be the one that got
in trouble, and I will always get in trouble. And
I'm saying, but nobody else got in trouble. Why is
it just me? Why God's hand was on my life?
They got realize it and was fighting at all I could.
(27:59):
As I grew older, as I became a young adult,
I just surrendered because I had gone through so much
and things weren't working out the way I wanted it to,
and so I just told him, not my will, but
your will be done in my life. Come on, Yes,
I listen to you and the reason I even prayed God?
(28:24):
What is it about her that keeps me watching her podcast,
listening to her so many times? Crystal, I know you
don't know, but I'm seventy one.
Speaker 14 (28:36):
Years old, and everyone where Ms Marrian, I am seventy odd.
Speaker 3 (28:49):
He has he has been good to me, has really
been good to me. I have watched you and your
heart exemplified the pyrhness the things that you do, and
so many times I've heard you say I've been praying
about this in my life, and I've been praying about
(29:10):
that and guess what, You're not the only one praying.
I prayed for you. I've been praying for you. And
when you got through and victory came, I was glorifying
God here in my home and I told my God daughter,
I'm single. I grew up as I was working. I
(29:31):
was working two jobs. I was working in Social Security Administration.
I did that for thirty four years, and then I
also worked here. I'm a licensed bautician. In the process
of all of that, I retired from Social Security Administration
on twenty twenty ten, and I still do have Now,
(29:53):
I have clients that will not let me go. They
don't want me to retire. And I told them, it's
been forty years of doing hair more. You gotta let
me retire. They said, no, you will never retire. We
will be on Hans or whatever. I'm not gonna keep
your time. But I just want to say to you,
(30:15):
I want to encourage you. First of all, will you
be able to have the trucker hats back in at
any time? Will you be ordering them?
Speaker 2 (30:25):
Yes, Big West is listening, and we will have those
sugar to have hats from his birdie right all right?
Speaker 1 (30:32):
Yesucker hats.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Reason why because my goddaughter once one so bad she said,
please give me one, And when I went online I
didn't see. I say, well, I'm just gonna have to
find out whether they'll be reordering them again, so I
just wan't be buying it from from you. I have
purchased so much from you. See, I have my like.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
You got your kids. Yes we do.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
I've watched you, honey, and you're keeping me young because
I'm doing I'm doing the jewelry.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
I know that's right. It looks you're layering it. It
looks good.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
And I even landed you even more. And the thing
I want to say to you is you have touched
so many people lives all over the world. It's not
by chance that God is using you, and the way
he's using you. I am glad that you're not like
everybody else. But you're doing God's will and doing his will.
(31:38):
Guess what eyes have not seen nor ears have heard.
I'm going to give you this scriptures, Berdie.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
I didn't know I was on crowd today.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
First Corinthians, second chapter, in the ninth verses for you.
It's not my intent to break down like this. Eyes
had not seen nor hear heard, neither have entered into
(32:13):
the heart of man, the things which God has prepared
for them that love him. God has a greater work
for you. He has a greater work for you to do.
He is not finished with you, Crystal. This is not
the end. The podcast is not the end. I don't
(32:36):
ever think that He's taking you to higher heights and
deeper depths in Him. All he wanted you to do
was surrender You're all to Him. And with you surrendering
your own you are encouraging people that knew nothing about God,
(32:58):
and they are now reading word. They are now going
to church, they are now hearing the word of God.
And my prayer for you, if you would about I
prayed for this and I asked God, if it's your
(33:18):
will for me to speak to her, allow them to
select my name. I went on about my house business,
doing housework and stuff, and when I looked at I
saw it. I begin to glorify God because of who
you are. So I say that this has been ordained
(33:41):
by the Father. I'm graceful for him. I wanted to
let you know I did by bring this book, and
it's because of you. I brought the book because God
has always spoken to me on obedience obedience, And when
she brought the book out and you had the podcast
(34:04):
and you talked and you were telling us it was
in my spirit to buy the book. But then I
kind of pulled back and I'm see I'm looking at
christ And when Christal said and you better buy the book,
I say, oh, you know, oh you know, Okay, I
got that, yes, and you better buy the boy. Well,
(34:25):
I have said, if you don't mind, if could I
have just a word of prayer with you, please, I'm
not gonna be long. I just want to This is
something that has been in my spirit for a long time.
I had been praying for you, and I asked, God,
why have you have been dropping in my spirit as
much as you have? And every day you're coming up
(34:48):
in my spirit. So my prayer has been for you.
So I'm gonna pray right now. I'm not gonna be long. Father,
and the precious name of Jesus God, me come before you, God,
I praise you, I worship, I adore you. I come
before you on the behalf of your daughter Crystal, God,
(35:09):
in the name of Jesus, from the crown of her
head to the souls of her feet, bless her, Oh God,
as never before, use her in ways that she will blow.
It will blow her mind. Bind the hand of the
enemy and of set his plan. Anyone that's not like you,
that does not come in the right way in her life,
(35:31):
Glory Hallelujah, remove them right now in the name of
Jesus God. Surround her with pray, praying people. Surround her
with the love that you have exemplified in her life.
Thank you for the team that she has, Oh God,
Bless each and never remember, Oh God, of her team.
(35:52):
And as she continues to speak your word, thank you
for her not being fearful of speaking your word.
Speaker 8 (35:59):
Of God.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
Help her, Oh God, in the name of Jesus, in
her night hour, Oh God, bless her in her home.
Oh God, Bless her surroundings. Oh God, everyone that's in
the midst of her bless them, Oh God, as she
comes forth, God, use her in a special way. Only
you can do this. We will forever give your name
(36:21):
the love shut shut down me to your name, O God, God,
I thank you, I praise you, I honor and adore
you in the precious name of Jesus.
Speaker 8 (36:34):
Lord.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
You know what's in her heart, everything that she desires.
God I'm asked you to bring forth and allow it
to take place in her life. God, she loves you,
and I thank you for the love she has and
how she's drawing others to you, and that's what she's doing.
Speaker 12 (36:52):
God.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
I thank you, I praise you, I honor and adore
you in the precious name of Jesus. In Jesus' name, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.
It's been a pleasure. It's been a pleasure.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
You don't know this, but I'm in the middle of
a fast right now, and i did a podcast last
week and it was like the second day of the fast,
and you know how it is when you're fasting, it's
just like everything you feel with so much gratitude.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
You feel the presence of God, and everything makes you.
Speaker 2 (37:30):
Cry, you know, like just one small thing and you're
just reminded of His goodness and it's just like, yes,
you can't contain it. And to know that in this industry,
it's so many people that are praying on my downfall.
But to have someone like you, a woman that I
didn't even know, praying for me, Yes, and I know
your prayers are fervent.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (37:52):
Yes, God is going to bless you. And one thing
I'm going to say, everyone that is praying for your downfall,
it will return back to them. It won't happen because
being a child of God, God has a head around you. Chrystal,
(38:12):
you have to know that He's gonna cover you glory.
He's gonna cover you with your his blood. He's gonna
protect you. You don't realize, but during that time you
was going through anxiety. You don't even know. But because
of the family that I'm in, I was going through
(38:35):
the same thing, anxiety, and you was talking about talking
to a therapist.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
So happily I have a spiritual and natural therapist. He's both.
He's a pastor, and God has blessed hem to speak
into me the things that gone through. I lost my
mother in twenty twenty two. We were like this, and
(39:06):
in the process of losing her, I have siblings. One
of my siblings sued me because my mother. I had
my mother's bank account and my mother was only getting
a monthly income and my sister was so hungry and
greedy for money. She sued me. But don't you know,
(39:27):
God told me, don't do nothing. They came to my
home looking for me to serve me. When I would
go out. I could not hardly go out sometimes because
what would happen? People will be setting out there waiting
to serve me. But God always allowed me not to
(39:49):
go out during that time. He says, stay home. He
always led me. But my pastor always said me. The
prophetic word came and he said, do nothing because God
got this. Do nothing. Do not retaliate God yest this.
(40:11):
Do you not know? It was for two years twenty
twenty two to twenty twenty four, the courts have been,
My name has been in the courts. But November the
fourteenth of twenty twenty four, the judge canceled it out.
I had not had to give out anything. The money
(40:34):
that was in my mother's account I gave to people
that helped my mom, and that just to bless them
and turn God blessed me. So I'm saying to you,
continue to do what you do because it resonates so much.
I could really tell you a lot about how your
(40:56):
life has resonated with my life. Why I do believe
God got you in my spirit all the time to
keep prayings with you.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Yes, ma'am, be not dismayed.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
God is not martius whatsoever. Glory, Yes, you also reap.
So you keep on, sweetie, doing what you do, because
guess what, at the end you will win. Victory is yours.
Christ I'm not.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
Gonna bless me. Do you understand me?
Speaker 3 (41:37):
But so many times, so many times, I just wanted
to find a way to call you, to talk to you.
I said, that woman don't know me, and she ain't
gonna answer no phones. I said, she don't know, she
ain't answered the phone. I said a praying send God
on her way and keep it moving. So I did.
(42:00):
I love you, Crystal, I love what. I love you too,
and I'm telling you you're gonna win. God's not. He's not.
He's not through with you yet.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
It's thirty. Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (42:15):
So you are such alike. Thank you as well. I
love you back. Have a good way.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
I'm beautiful. How are you doing?
Speaker 6 (42:25):
I'm doing?
Speaker 3 (42:27):
I hope I don't have to go after miss Birdie.
Speaker 6 (42:30):
Lord.
Speaker 1 (42:31):
I know that's a tough act of ollow baby, and
it wasn't an act. So she's yeah, sure, are you?
I am wonderful? I'm full right now. Wow, Yes, I'm good.
How are you doing?
Speaker 15 (42:47):
I'm doing good. I'm I'm so happy to talk to you.
I'm so excited to be here. It's so funny because
this time last year I met you when you came
to d C for the women's soccer and you guys
had the panies.
Speaker 1 (43:01):
Yes, so I remember.
Speaker 15 (43:04):
Yeah, it's supposed to like almost a year exactly this
time last year.
Speaker 2 (43:09):
That's crazy. Yeah, because that was this time of year. Yeah, wow,
that's amazing. How are you doing.
Speaker 3 (43:15):
I'm doing good.
Speaker 15 (43:16):
This is my sophomore year at Howard, so I'm.
Speaker 1 (43:20):
Just Howard yees saying.
Speaker 4 (43:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (43:29):
First, before I ask my question, I just want to
say she said it all, but to reiterate, I'm so
happy to be here and to talk to you. And
your lights shine so bright, and it feels so good
to have somebody like you, for young women like me
to look up to you, and I just I appreciate
your your your light and your love and you. But question,
(43:53):
of course, this summer I turned twenty, so freshly twenty,
and I'm both excited and a little.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Nervous about this chapter. So I guess my question.
Speaker 15 (44:08):
I'm looking down because I haven't written, but because you
would give a young woman freshly in her.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
Twenties freshly in her twenties. I feel like your twenties
is when life really begins.
Speaker 1 (44:23):
This is when you are making decisions on your own.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
These are the years that are going to shape your life.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
So be very conscious. You know a lot of times.
Speaker 2 (44:32):
We take these years to just be free, but these
years really shape who you are. So I would say, one,
make sure that you have a good community, a good
set of friends that are going to help keep you
in the right direction, because it's easy to be influenced
and steered in many different ways. But I would also
say to have fun, you know, enjoy these years because
(44:55):
once you get out of college, that's when.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
The real real worlds.
Speaker 13 (45:00):
Think.
Speaker 2 (45:00):
These are the years where you learn how to balance life.
You know, you learn how to manage time management. It's
very important in college, and I think you need to
make sure that you're learning everything that you need to
put in your toolbox.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
For when it's time to graduate. Those are the things
I would say. And then also it's as always keep
God first. Try to find a church home if you
don't already have one in DC, because that's also important.
Speaker 2 (45:23):
That was one thing that I was raising the church,
and as soon as I got to school.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
That's the first thing I stopped doing was going to church.
But it wasn't. It was my sophomore year, and God said,
he yanked me real quick.
Speaker 15 (45:35):
It's so funny because because of you, I started watching
Change and it, Oh my god, this sermon.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
Oh this serious alterations day.
Speaker 1 (45:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (45:50):
Crazy.
Speaker 15 (45:50):
It was so good to thank you for. But yeah,
that was that was my only question. I just wanted
to say hi and think, thank you for it for
I don't know if you can see it, but this
was us this time last year.
Speaker 2 (46:06):
Well oh my yes, wow, thank you so much for
even coming to the game.
Speaker 1 (46:15):
I appreciate that. That means so much.
Speaker 3 (46:18):
Yeah, and I wish you the best as well.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
I wish you the best, and I hope that you
take my advice. I hope it was good advice for
you and something that you can use and take with you.
But I wish you the best. You keep shining and
best of luck in college. These are the best years.
Speaker 1 (46:35):
So enjoying it. Thank you, You're welcome. Love Come on March,
she said, y'all gonna see this merch.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
I know that my wait out and drop it.
Speaker 7 (46:48):
Look.
Speaker 1 (46:51):
I love it. Yes, thank you so much. Hi, how
are you doing.
Speaker 8 (46:58):
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (46:58):
I'm good.
Speaker 7 (47:00):
Actually going from Baltimore.
Speaker 1 (47:02):
Okay, I rely.
Speaker 11 (47:09):
I moved to Atlanta two months ago.
Speaker 1 (47:12):
Okay, well, welcome to the a thank you.
Speaker 11 (47:15):
I come every year. I even came to grind Pritty.
I got a picture too.
Speaker 1 (47:19):
Oh wow, yes, I gotta get back to this. I
was skinty then.
Speaker 3 (47:24):
Yes, It's just a couple of things. Now.
Speaker 6 (47:28):
I'm not going to hold you a long.
Speaker 1 (47:30):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (47:31):
I like, my mom is.
Speaker 11 (47:32):
She just turned seventy and I was able to give
her like this big old birthday party, like all my
family came and it was a big thing.
Speaker 3 (47:40):
So I'm like, how am I going to do this?
Speaker 4 (47:42):
Move into Atlanta, all this?
Speaker 11 (47:43):
You know, just everything just so expensive here. So I'm like, God,
whatever you're playing is for me, Just let it be
for me. So I had to just take on that
and just move with all my life with that. But
I'm like, how do I feel now? Like and I
checked on her like mine, you are okay?
Speaker 3 (48:00):
Like you okay living by yourself now?
Speaker 11 (48:01):
And she's like, don I'm okay, I'm fine, but it's
like me shocking to her. But it was hard, but
you know, it's all in my waiting season. I'm okay
with accepting the new changes that I have in my life,
like moving here by myself without family and out friends,
(48:23):
Like I talked to my friends like all day and.
Speaker 8 (48:25):
I'm like, yo, should just come and just come down
here and move.
Speaker 3 (48:27):
With me, like I just need it up.
Speaker 4 (48:32):
But you know, you know that's okay too.
Speaker 11 (48:34):
So I'm just trying to figure out how I can't
continue to grow knowing I know God is preparing me
right now to start over. I felt like a couple
of years ago, like everything, because I felt like I
didn't appreciate what God has given me. I had my apartment,
I had my car, I had everything I wanted.
Speaker 4 (48:55):
But I didn't appreciate it.
Speaker 11 (48:58):
I was like, okay, what's like everything was stripped away.
I total my car, I lost my apartment, I had
to find another job, like I had to start over,
start over. So I'm like now I just feel like
I'm just waiting, Like God stripped me off of everything
and now he's allowing me to behold again and I've
(49:19):
accepted that.
Speaker 1 (49:21):
Yeah, So I'm just I don't know, like.
Speaker 11 (49:24):
I've just been having these dreams like about my family
and stuff and I'm like every time I feel like
I'm being uncertain, like I'm uncertain of things or what's
next or what's next the car, I'm like, God, just
help me out. He'll always send his angels in my dreams,
Like my family, They're always in my dream and they
always smiling and had be like it's never nothing said.
(49:44):
And I talked to my mom about it and she
was like, it's okay, and I said, I know, I
know it's I know it's okay, but just trying to
like move forward and be okay and be in the
rooms where I want to be.
Speaker 1 (49:59):
Like when you say you want to be, yeah, I was,
what do you want to do?
Speaker 11 (50:05):
And I was like Crystal, like everybody like loved doing you,
like you show so much love to everybody that was there.
You wasn't like, oh I'm not taking off, but you
took a picture, but everybody you was.
Speaker 6 (50:14):
Dancing like he was you.
Speaker 8 (50:17):
And then I had the.
Speaker 11 (50:19):
And Zinga's event that she had like three weeks ago,
and it's the same thing. I'm like, everybody just love
on them unconditionally, and they love on everybody else. So
like surrounding yourself with people that really care for you,
and love you like I just was just sitting there like,
oh my goodness.
Speaker 1 (50:38):
Yeah, it's a beautiful thing.
Speaker 2 (50:41):
But I really believe that what you give is what
you get, you know. And when it comes to like
the waiting season and you feel like you're starting over,
I'm not sure if you are on the last live
that I just did.
Speaker 1 (50:55):
You miss it? Okay? So there was this young lady
that she's like, Crystal, I just feel like I can't
catch a break, Like I just keep getting knocked down.
It's one thing after another.
Speaker 2 (51:03):
And I said a lot of times when God is
trying to get your attention, he'll have to sit you down.
And in the sitting down, you can't get knocked down
if you're sitting down, you know.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
And it was a word in that moment.
Speaker 2 (51:17):
And a word that still rings true is that oftentimes
when God really needs you to hear him, because we
don't hear him when we're busy doing everything, sometimes he
has to sit us down so he can really give
us the guidance to He knows where we want to go,
he knows what we want to do, and if it's
in his will, he's going to make those things happen.
But in order for you to know where to go,
sometimes you have to be still, and I feel like
(51:38):
that is where you are.
Speaker 1 (51:39):
And honestly, the.
Speaker 2 (51:40):
Waiting season is the best season because what's on the
other side of that is you're already being prepared for
that right now in this waiting season.
Speaker 1 (51:49):
Yeah, and it's so beautiful on the other side of it.
I can tell you that.
Speaker 8 (51:53):
Yes, yes, you are so welcome.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
Thank you. Nice to me, to you too. Thank you
so much for your support, and thanks for taking time
to talk to me today. I really appreciate it.
Speaker 8 (52:07):
Yeah, I had like ten minutes.
Speaker 4 (52:08):
I got off at four thirty. I said, oh, I
got an email.
Speaker 3 (52:10):
Let me, how are your focus on the put my
head on. I'm gonna show time.
Speaker 1 (52:15):
You did that, and I appreciate that. Thank you so much.
Have a good one by hi. Just get out of school. No,
I'm at work, and are you at work? I thought
I saw a backpacks very.
Speaker 16 (52:31):
Much aggravating me right now, trying to put nobody out
because they really aggravated me.
Speaker 1 (52:37):
Oh no, we're not doing it.
Speaker 16 (52:39):
We're not We're not gonna do it.
Speaker 3 (52:40):
We're not gonna do it because that's what.
Speaker 1 (52:46):
Because that's it's you said because that's what we're gonna do.
Speaker 17 (52:49):
I got a girl, nay, I mean my name is
the age the name, but you had a room the
last time, so we don't stick with names.
Speaker 1 (53:05):
So now I'm good for butchering the name.
Speaker 16 (53:08):
So we're gonna stick with name right now because I no,
it's it's beautiful.
Speaker 1 (53:15):
What's going on there beside these people working your nerves
and I don't even get off until seven.
Speaker 16 (53:22):
But it's it's cool.
Speaker 4 (53:25):
They don't need me, but it's just it's cool. It's
it's good.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
Okay, is there anything you wanted to ask me?
Speaker 16 (53:34):
What I want to act is as your younger self
because I'm twenty four. How do you get your child's
at tremble? Because with me, my life is baking down.
My mama I don't with her. I don't know who
my dad is because who I know him is but
I don't know him either, So it's like I don't.
Speaker 4 (53:57):
Know where my life is going.
Speaker 16 (54:00):
If it's a time where I'm going up, I don't
want to say it but take my life away. But
it's like I don't know because it's like I want
a relation to my mom, but it's like things is hard.
So it's like I don't know where to start. Yeah,
it's like at point, at some point a time, I
(54:20):
do give up.
Speaker 6 (54:21):
I'll be trying to like I don't know.
Speaker 4 (54:25):
Well.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
When it comes to childhood trauma, it can be something
that's very hard to navigate, especially when you don't have
the guidance from a parent or a guardian to help
you navigate, because a lot of that comes from from
them and the explanations of things that you need to
be able to heal. You can't get that if you
don't have that relationship with them. And I'm guessing therapy
(54:52):
right now is probably not an option.
Speaker 2 (54:54):
But do you have anybody that you look up to,
like an aunt or a grandmother, someone that you could
like really sit down and talk to that really loves you,
that you can just even share how you're feeling.
Speaker 1 (55:07):
Because when it comes to.
Speaker 2 (55:10):
Having suicidal thoughts, I had those when I was a kid,
and I've been open about that. But I look back
now and I thank God every single day that I
did not do that, because you don't know what God
has ahead of you, And I look at so many
people that have gone to do amazing things.
Speaker 1 (55:30):
The upbringing was not the best.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
They have stories that are when people look at it like,
oh my goodness, how do they overcome that?
Speaker 1 (55:38):
But it's because they were destined for greatness.
Speaker 2 (55:40):
And the fact that you're even asking how do I
get over childhood trauma lets him know that there's something
great in store for you and that God is on
your heart and he's working on you. I would like
to see with JB if there's a therapist that we
can connect her with that we can pay for, because
(56:01):
this is serious. Can we get her information? We want
to help you, okay Nae. I want to make sure
that you have all the support that you need. That's
what this community is about. My foundation, the Christine Hayes.
Speaker 1 (56:15):
The Foundation is really big on mental health, and we
don't put enough emphasis on it and enough care behind
it to know that we need to talk to people
in order to move in the order that we should
be moving in life.
Speaker 2 (56:29):
And it's something that can really hold you back. And
I don't want you to get held back in any
kind of way. So however I can help you, I'm
going to do that, afraid.
Speaker 6 (56:39):
Yes, y yes man?
Speaker 4 (56:41):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (56:41):
How are you beautiful woman?
Speaker 1 (56:43):
Wonderful Miss Chris.
Speaker 5 (56:44):
I'm so nervous right now, I didn't even think I
would ever get this opportunity. It's just occasions. But yeah,
I'm so happy to be here. And this is why
people are drawn to you. Yeah, what you just did
for that young lady. All I can say is, my God,
(57:06):
your heart, your glow, your energy, your strength, it's nothing
like it.
Speaker 6 (57:13):
I've never seen nothing like it.
Speaker 5 (57:16):
And I you know, I started watching Sisters, I think
season two, and when I looked at you, I said,
it's something special about this young lady. It got nothing
to do with a character that she plays, but it's
about your character of.
Speaker 6 (57:31):
Who you are. Come on, and I said, my.
Speaker 5 (57:35):
God, there are so many levels you have yet to
reach that God is about to catapult you.
Speaker 6 (57:42):
Into your evangelism work. That's what I'm gonna call it.
Speaker 5 (57:46):
This is evangelism work that you do when you reach
out to people, when your impact on people's lives is
so amazing. And this birdie took everything I wanted to
say right right out of my mouth. There's days I'm
sitting here and I'm like, why is this woman on
(58:07):
my mind?
Speaker 6 (58:08):
She don't know me from.
Speaker 5 (58:09):
A hole in the world, but yet I feel the
need to drop a prayer for her, and it maybe
days that you may be even feeling down, no wondering why,
which way is up, whatever the situation may be.
Speaker 6 (58:23):
But God plants you on my heart and I have
to say a silent prayer for Crystal in there, hazelet
because your heart is so pure.
Speaker 5 (58:31):
See that Jesus in me loves it, Jesus in you.
Speaker 6 (58:35):
Oh my God, you have no idea what's ahead of you.
Speaker 5 (58:41):
You've been protected all your life, even before you left
your mother's room.
Speaker 6 (58:45):
You will protect it.
Speaker 5 (58:47):
God has had you, and he's gonna continue to keep you,
and you're going to continue.
Speaker 6 (58:52):
To grow and grow and grow and grow because of
your heart and because of your heart for God. You
know what.
Speaker 5 (59:01):
I can go on a tangent sometime because I am
a minister in the gospel and try to be cool sometimes,
but sometimes it's hard. When God places on my heart,
I have to say it. Yes, yeah, yes, I definitely
have to say it. And I wanted to say to
you a long time too. Write that book. Don't be
afraid right that book. I DMed you a while ago
(59:26):
and I said, just write it.
Speaker 1 (59:29):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 5 (59:30):
Let the Lord use you because there's somebody that needs
to hear your story deeper than what you have said
on your platform. Write that book, don't be afraid write it. Yes,
God got you.
Speaker 6 (59:43):
And there's something that we have in common, you know,
young man channel More.
Speaker 1 (59:48):
Yes, that's my brother. I love you. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (59:51):
Yeah. I used to sing with his father, Bishop David.
Speaker 5 (59:55):
Yes, ma'am, yes, wow, yeah, I'm from Mount Running, York
and we used to have a group called.
Speaker 6 (01:00:01):
The Mount Burning Community Choir.
Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
We was Yeah, I'm old, I'm old, lady, I'm sixty three.
And that's it startling. It started way back then.
Speaker 4 (01:00:13):
And then.
Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
I remember when he was in his mama's room. But yeah, uh,
he's amazing. God all wrapped up around that young man.
Speaker 1 (01:00:25):
He has yet to see things too.
Speaker 5 (01:00:30):
You know, that songwriting and that him, that all came
from his daddy. I know, I know, Yes, that's amazing.
And I just moved here to Atlanta about eight months
ago after I retired, and.
Speaker 6 (01:00:43):
My little homie, I called him, my little homie. Brittany
introduced me to your church, changed church, and I yes,
and I've been going that man, that man, that preaching man,
that preaching man. I cannot, I cannot stop growing. I
have yet to join. It's still you know. God is
still working on me, but it may happen. I don't know.
(01:01:09):
I'm still searching.
Speaker 5 (01:01:10):
I'm still trying to find a church on where I
can utilize the ministry that God has placed on me. Yes,
and I thank you, miss Crystal. I thank you for
being such an impact on my life as well.
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:01:29):
I watch how you walk, I watch what you do
with so much integrity, and that glow is mind blowing.
When I first met you at your first KIPT Live
show down here in Atlanta and I walked up.
Speaker 3 (01:01:43):
To you, only thing I could say to you was
You're just amazing.
Speaker 18 (01:01:49):
Because that glows stopped me. I'm like, whoa, ain't nobody
got to glow like that? Lord, what is you doing
with this woman? Mold her and make her after your
divine will? And that's what he's said.
Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
Yes, he is. Thank you. Thank you don't know how
much you are affirming in me today. Thank you.
Speaker 5 (01:02:06):
Yes, Yes, and I thank you so much for just
taking out this time and this opportunity to speak to
speak with your sweeties.
Speaker 1 (01:02:14):
You guys so much to me. Yes, yeah, yeah, I
really do.
Speaker 5 (01:02:19):
Like no, definitely, yeah, definitely, support you, support your shows,
everything that you do and like I said before, eyes
have not seen, ears have not heard what God is
about to do and where he is about to take you.
He's using you as for such a time as this.
And thank you for being you, keep.
Speaker 6 (01:02:39):
On being real.
Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
Thank you, thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (01:02:47):
Thank you praying for you, praying for you, praying for you.
And know that no.
Speaker 5 (01:02:51):
Weapon formed against you shall have a prosper Those who's
trying to pray for your downfall.
Speaker 6 (01:02:57):
It ain't gonna happen. If anything hate. This ain't nothing
but elevators. It's just gonna keep elevating.
Speaker 1 (01:03:03):
You come one. I received that. Thank you, Yes, ma'am.
Speaker 6 (01:03:08):
You have a beautiful rest of your evening. Thank you
so much.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Oh, thank you, thank you so much. Pastraina dreams come
on in.
Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
You're not driving this, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:03:24):
I'm sitting in my coat. Baby, I just my grand
baby being born to day.
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
Hey then I just on your face.
Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
That's so crazy. You had a grand baby born, a girl,
a baby girl.
Speaker 1 (01:03:40):
Just all congratulations.
Speaker 4 (01:03:43):
They calling me for food. I say, you gotta way.
Speaker 1 (01:03:49):
It's so good to see your face.
Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
Listen, what are the odds of me being picked?
Speaker 1 (01:03:57):
Listen, God knew because you are definitely one of my
biggest supporters.
Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 19 (01:04:03):
Look, and the thing is, I want to just say this,
this week marks the week of me wanting to take
my life.
Speaker 4 (01:04:17):
And what stopped me.
Speaker 19 (01:04:20):
Was I looked at I was watching a podcast with
You and Evil, right, and the way I mean, the
way Eva was talking and the way she was like
basically saying like Crystal, like I called you, you know
because I needed you, and that you was like girl.
Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
Way. But I was in a.
Speaker 19 (01:04:41):
Closet crime before I came out here to sit with you.
Speaker 4 (01:04:46):
But that morning I woke up. That morning, I woke
up and it.
Speaker 19 (01:04:50):
Was like I just was feeling donk donk dark, and
I woke up.
Speaker 4 (01:04:57):
And something just saying kid yourself.
Speaker 19 (01:05:01):
I walked in my bathroom and I looked on my
counter and I had forty flex a rills, Right, So
I said, I'm gonna go I'm gonna go.
Speaker 4 (01:05:10):
Ahead the work.
Speaker 19 (01:05:11):
I said, I'm gonna go ahead the work, and I'm
gonna just come back home and just take the pills
and let my children find me in my bedroom.
Speaker 17 (01:05:20):
Right.
Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
So I was like listening to the podcast on the way.
Speaker 19 (01:05:24):
To work, crying, crying, just just balling crying.
Speaker 4 (01:05:29):
When I got to work, just crying.
Speaker 19 (01:05:31):
They had some important people at the job, right, so
they was like, what what's the matter.
Speaker 4 (01:05:38):
I was like I just can't. I can't, like, I just.
Speaker 19 (01:05:41):
Can't get it. And it was like we just go
in the yard. I went in the yard and fell
to my knees and just asked God, like what is
going on? Because man, God wrestles, you know, Man, God
be in the field. And I was like, bro, like
what are you doing to me? Like what is it?
And he was like, I just need you to just
(01:06:04):
be still. When the like the young lady says I had,
I was like that girl here in my city.
Speaker 4 (01:06:11):
I'm from New Orleans. I was that girl. I'm that
girl when I tell your God took.
Speaker 19 (01:06:16):
Everything away from me job, I mean, God had to
humble me, and I think.
Speaker 4 (01:06:24):
That's why I wanted to.
Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
Like ended.
Speaker 19 (01:06:29):
But when I was like basically when I started listening
more to y'all talk, I was like that, I mean,
I mean I can't like no. I was like, oh,
I promise you. Whatever I'm not doing, I need you
to show me. And it's so hard for me to
see because I see past you understand people that goes
(01:06:54):
over people head and what I did.
Speaker 1 (01:06:58):
I went home.
Speaker 19 (01:07:00):
I took them pills and I flushed them pills down
the toilet and I was like, man, I said, Lord, please,
I said, I promise, I'm gonna be like I lost
faith in God and everything, girl, like everything that I
had got.
Speaker 4 (01:07:14):
I was like, oh, thank you God.
Speaker 19 (01:07:15):
But it wasn't God, girl, I just felt like it
was me, like cause I was bawling.
Speaker 4 (01:07:19):
I had this. I had that.
Speaker 19 (01:07:20):
That's why I laugh at you. I mean, when I
type the thing in about the bag, I was like that,
that's me.
Speaker 4 (01:07:28):
That's that.
Speaker 19 (01:07:29):
I'm that girl like going through the But that's why
I mess with you about the unboxing and stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:07:35):
You know.
Speaker 19 (01:07:37):
One thing that you did, you encouraged me to write
my book. I wrote a book, and my book is
about My book is about relationship trauma and mental illness because,
like I said, I went through it was in an
abusive relationship that nobody knew, Nobody like I hit that
(01:08:00):
for eighteen years with a man that I thought loved me,
but all he did was control me.
Speaker 4 (01:08:06):
But that was my I stayed because I didn't want
to be alone.
Speaker 1 (01:08:10):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:08:11):
So I've been celibrating now for three years. It's hard.
Speaker 19 (01:08:15):
Oh, my god, Jesus, Oh my god, Oh my god,
Jesus is right, Jesus.
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
I was like, what is going on?
Speaker 19 (01:08:25):
But you know, like I said, I just like, man,
I really I really mess with I can't curse, but
you know, us from New Orleans, that's what we do.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
But you know.
Speaker 14 (01:08:40):
That's what you need.
Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
And oh I appreciate that too.
Speaker 19 (01:08:49):
And they were always talking about y'all always were Crystal
and no lies, Crystal always well we at because y'all
don't get it to the end, thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:08:57):
Y'all don't get it. So guess what y'all with a
week before Notice, baby, we've been.
Speaker 19 (01:09:03):
The tickets have been ever my crystal, b baby, I
love it.
Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
That's right that.
Speaker 19 (01:09:14):
We need you to drop the rolls because we need
them for the boat. Because we got we're gonna have a.
Speaker 1 (01:09:19):
Thing for the boat. We need feeling.
Speaker 4 (01:09:24):
Yeah, because we got all.
Speaker 1 (01:09:27):
So I got you, and you know I love y'all.
Take you.
Speaker 4 (01:09:36):
Remember you told me you was going mentor me.
Speaker 1 (01:09:38):
I'm waiting, okay, it's having right now. We got started.
We just got started.
Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
I'm right now. Yes, I'm so proudy I really am.
Speaker 4 (01:09:50):
All right, And get the three books. Look out and
gave you three books. Go find them.
Speaker 1 (01:09:57):
Okay, you did little You all right, Chris, I love
you too, Thank you, Bye bye bye. Hey ex Where
are you from.
Speaker 20 (01:10:19):
I'm from Buffalo, New York, but I now live in Lula, Georgia.
Speaker 2 (01:10:24):
Okay, awesome, amazing, I thought I heard an accent.
Speaker 20 (01:10:28):
Yeah. I just want to tell you something. I was
a teacher for forty two years. I recently retired, and
every day I would put this on the board, and
every day my kids would read this.
Speaker 3 (01:10:43):
It's from Maya Angelou.
Speaker 20 (01:10:45):
It was like, because the kids, the kids that I taught,
were all of color, so let's put a manly and
I wanted them to accept me for who I was.
Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
Yes, And so I would put this on.
Speaker 20 (01:11:00):
The board and every day we'd read it together. You
may shoot me with your words, you may cut me
with your eyes, you may kill me with your hatefulness,
but still like air eye rise, and you are the
perfect example of that. I want you to know that
I wish so much.
Speaker 4 (01:11:18):
That I could.
Speaker 20 (01:11:20):
That I could show kids what you've done with your
life in a way I know I can't show them, sisters,
I know I can't do that, but that role model
you play you are my alter ego. When I become angry,
I'm Fatima. Okay, so it's just I love the hell
(01:11:41):
out of you.
Speaker 1 (01:11:42):
Okay, Oh thank you.
Speaker 20 (01:11:45):
I'm a caregiver right now for my husband and so
sisters and Zactima just bring me joy that I need.
Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
My life so much.
Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
I love to hear it.
Speaker 1 (01:12:00):
We got a new sign coming out Wednesday.
Speaker 20 (01:12:03):
Yes, I'm really excited about that. A friend of mine
told me I needed to watch it. I've been watching it.
I first watched Harlem, and then when that was over,
I was like, oh no, what am I going to
watch next?
Speaker 1 (01:12:17):
And I found Just and it was so good.
Speaker 20 (01:12:21):
I'm really I don't mean to be offensive, but I'm
really tired of white watching white people on TV all
the time. It's just become a thing for me because
I was you know, I was brought up Italian American
and my mother would always say, we are not white,
