(00:48):
you ready for today's adventure? Me too, Let's go. Theo
loved dinosaurs. He loved dinosaurs so much that he even
named his hamster Bronto, after his favorite dinosaur, the Bronosaurus.

(01:09):
Bronto loved dinosaurs too. He loved to look at Theo's
dinosaur books and watched his Theo played with his dinosaur toys.
Bronto loved dinosaurs so much he wished he could be
one too. I really want to be a real Brontosaurus,
Bronto announced to the family dog Roxy. Theo wasn't allowed

(01:34):
to name the family dog, and Bronto thought he was
missing out by not having a cool dino name like his.
Why would you wanted to do that, Roxy asked, Then
you'd be too big to run on your wheel or
right around in theo's pocket. But if I were a
real dinosaur, then I wouldn't need to ride in theo's pocket.

(01:57):
He could ride around on me, replied Bronto. Why yes,
If you run on that wheel fast enough, maybe you'll
open up a portal back to the land of dinosaurs.
She laughed and walked out of theo's room, but Bronto
wasn't discouraged. Even though Roxy the dog was laughing, Maybe

(02:22):
she was right. Hmmm. So Bronto picked up speed on
his wheel. He ran as fast as his little feet
would carry him, and then pushed himself even harder. Suddenly,
a shimmery purple appeared in the middle of his wheel.
What is that, asked Bronto. He ran faster, and the

(02:46):
purple shimmer grew larger. It kept growing wider and wider
until it was about to swallow the wheel Bronto was
running on. Roxy. Hey, Roxy, I get that, Bronto shouted.
He saw the dog's white muzzle peek through the doorway,

(03:08):
just before the purple shimmer grew again and swallowed up
the whole wheel, shouted Bronto. As the wheels spun him
through time, images flew past him until he saw images
of dinosaurs all around him. He began to slow down

(03:31):
to get a better look. When he did, even more
dinosaurs came into view. He could also see the green
of the ground and the blue of the sky. Volcanoes
were smoking out in the distance, and pits of tar
were visible around the landscape. Bronto stepped off his wheel

(03:55):
and alarmed to see that he was now face to face.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
With a real wife brontosaurus.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Did I really do it? Did I travel through a
portal and back to the time of the dinosaurs? He
jumped up and down and heard a booming sound like
thunder that caused him to jump again.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Oh easy, there, fella.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Don't wanna shake down the whole forest, said the brontosaurus
next to him.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
How could I do that? I'm just a hamster, laughed Bronto.
Then he asked, h why are you so small? You're
supposed to be the biggest dinosaur around. The brontosaurus frowned.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
I don't know what a amster is, but you are
definitely not one, and I am tall, but so are you.
We're both brontosauruses.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
What.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Bronto turned and ran.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
For the nearest puddle of water to look at his reflection.
As he did, something thundered beneath him. He looked into
the puddle and gasped, dude, I'm really a dinosaur. He
jumped for joy and heard the thundering sound again. Oh
that's me. Bronto stomped his giant dinosaur feet again and

(05:36):
watched the trees all shake around him.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Be careful, you don't know what could happen if you
shake the ground too much, but Bronto was too excited
to listen.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Look at by. I get a lace off the tallest
three branches. He munched and crunched his happily through the
nearest tree. I get across the river in just one step,
he shouted happily while stepping over the river. Let me
do it again. Bronto leaped back and forth over the river,

(06:14):
shaking the ground, the trees and everything around. Stop stomping,
the brontosaurus, warned him again, but it was too late.
All of Bronto's stomping had shook up. Oh dear the volcano,
and it was waking up, the volcano rumbled and thundered

(06:36):
through the air.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
The volcano's going to a.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Rapt shouted the brontosaurus. H Bronto looked around frantically for
a place to hide, and spotted his wheel passing through
the portal. Must have made his wheel bigger too, because
it was ginormous. I have an idea.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Follow me.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
The two stomped toward the wheel, jump on. Once they
were both on, Bronto gave the last direction, Run as
fast as you can. The two dinosaurs did just that.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
The wheel isn't going anywhere.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
The Brontosaurus told Bronto, just streuss me. They keep running.
They kept running and running and running until the purple
shimmer appeared in the middle of the wheel. In the distance,
lava began spewing angrily from the volcano. Keep running, Bronto

(07:42):
assured the scared Brontosaurus.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
They ran, and.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
The purple shimmer continued to grow. The volcano shot hot
lava into the air. Just as the purple shimmer grew
large enough to swallow the wheel hole. They ran back
through time until Bronto saw theo's bedroom here. Slow down.

(08:08):
He called out. The wheel slowed down and began to shrink.
The Brontosaurus was thrown from it, and Bronto fell back
into his cage. He saw Roxy the dog in the
corner of the room with her doggie jaw open in shock. Er.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Is that did did you?

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Roxy stammered, unable to get the words out. Bronto sat
in his shavings and smiled. Yep, I just traveled back
in time. I was a dinosaur. He forgot all about
the brontosaurus until he heard things smashing in the room.
Brontosaurus was squished inside the bedroom, its tail sticking out

(08:52):
the open window, its head sticking through theo's open door.
Then Bronto heard footsteps approaching. Uh uh, Fronto said, right
before we heard Theo's voice from the hallway. Ah, what
is this? A real prontosaurus in my room? Cool? Wow,

(09:16):
that may be the end of our story, but holy smokes,
can you imagine a real dinosaur being dropped into your bedroom?

Speaker 2 (09:25):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (09:26):
I bet there's some incredible things waiting ahead in this
family's house. The end. Great job, you listened all the
way to the end, and you know what time it is.
It's time for good shout out. So I want to

(09:47):
say a to Gavin from Los Angeles, Elias from Manitoba,
Gavin from Indiana, Emmett from Send No not San Diego,
UH South Dako Emerson and Everett from Minnesota, Ian from
Nova Scotia, and Carter from Prince George, Canada. I'm so

(10:07):
glad that you're all on a kid short Story's family.
We could not have this much fun with imagine I
should without you, my friends. Well, you have a super
duper day and I'll see you on a next adventure. Bye.
