Hey friends, it's mister Jim and welcome back to Kids
Short Stories. Did you know we have all kinds of
awesome activities for you. Yeah, down in the show notes below,
ask your parents to click on that link and then
you can listen to one of our kids animal stories
and do an awesome critter challenge and activity. I cannot
wait to see the pictures from your awesome creations. Well, friends,

are you ready for today's adventure? Something terrible happened at
the dentist's office. Let's go. Wow, this is a lot
of rain. It's been raining for days. I can barely

(00:47):
see out here, said doctor Clean. He was driving his
truck back to his dentist office after visiting the toothpaste factory.
He had picked up a large shit meant of toothpaste
and was bringing it back to his office so that
he could hand it out to all of the people
that got their teeth clean at his dentist's office. Yes,

(01:10):
Doctor Clean, he was an amazing dentist that loved to
keep everyone's teeth extra clean and shiny with no cavities.
Have you ever gone to the dentist before. Yeah, they're
amazing at their job at keeping our teeth Clean and
helping us get out all the stuff that's kind of

(01:31):
hard to reach in our teeth what. Unfortunately, as he
was driving back to his office, it was a terrible rainstorm.
It had been raining for him many days now, and
the road had been covered in a little bit of
mud that was very slippery. He had to drive very
carefully to not slide off the road and lose all

(01:51):
of his toothpaste. Doctor Clean should be driving much slower,
but unfortunately, he was feeling very rushed that he was
like he was running out of time because he wanted
to get back home, and it's not a good idea
to be rushing in the middle of a very slippery rainstorm.
Oh I gotta get back to the office and unload

(02:14):
all this toothpaste, and then I gotta get back home,
and oh, I have so much to do in so
little time. Let me take the shortcut past the power plant.
He turned his truck down this back road. It drove
past the area power plant that was they had shut
down a little while ago because it was starting to
leak some radioactive fluids and they had to make sure

(02:37):
that it was cleaned up and operating back at normal.
But as he took that shortcut. This he would learn
was not a good idea. All of a sudden, the
tires on his truck started to slide and skid. Whoa, whoa, whoa,
whoa Boa. His truck had slid off the road and

(03:01):
splashed right into a giant puddle that looked like a
very strange puddle. It was like glowing green and yellow,
but all that glowing green and yellow juice sprayed all
over his truck, which came to a sliding stop. Meanwhile,
across town, Cayden was getting ready for bed, brushing his

(03:23):
teeth and OOO yawned and called into bed. It wasn't
even another two seconds that had passed when he heard
the sound the spiever. Oh dear, Caden jumped out of
bed and grabbed his walkie talkie, clicked clay, and it said.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Cayden, we have an emergency. We need your help. We
just receive a report of a moutant green blob that
is terrorizing the city, stealing toothpaste a town from every home.
We need your help to not only stop this, but
to figure out where on earth this came from. Over

(04:10):
and out.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Sh He then received a text message that had all
the coordinates of where this was going on. He ran
back downstairs to tell his parents Mom, Dad, something crazy
is going on out there, and the spy team needs
my help. There's some kind of mure didn't green blob
across town. His parents couldn't believe it. This sounded serious.

(04:35):
All right, kitten, Well, you get all your gear and
just let us know what happens. Keep us posted. Kayden
ran back upstairs to grab all of his gear, and
then he heard a sound coming from his bathroom. He
poked his head inside and shoo, whoa was that my toothpaste?
He was right, his tube of toothpaste we're just flown

(04:59):
right in front of his face, through the air and
flew out the window. It was like it was being
sucked out and controlled by Oh dear, that's just like
what the spy team just said. Oh no. He looked
out his window and there it was.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
A ginormous, glowing green and yellow mutant blob of slime
dun dung dum. Cayden's toothpaste was flying through the air
right towards that green blob, and it's like it just
got sucked inside. And then the blob got even bigger.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
How is this possible that toothpaste makes him stronger and bigger,
said Cayden. And it was then that the green blob
must have hurt him or something, and looked over towards
Cayden and saw that he had been spotted and took off,
sliming away. I don't think that green blob wanted to

(05:59):
be seen, And so as that slid down the road,
it dove into the forest and disappeared. Kayden's eyes had
gotten really big, and he had even forgotten to blink
it for a while.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Oh my eyes, I needed blink, blink, blink blink. Okay,
what in the world is going on, said Kayden. How
in the world could toothpaste be powering this green blob.
That doesn't make any sense, but I gotta follow it.
Caten saw that that green slime blob it left a

(06:35):
trail of green slime on the street and into the forest.
So even though he couldn't see where this blob went,
he thought he might be able to follow the trail.
As he walked downstairs, he gave his parents a hug
and they wished him good luck. He walked out the door.
It was nighttime, which made the glowing green slime a

(06:57):
lot easier to see you. He probably couldn't be able
to see it if it was daytime and the sun
was out, but since it was nighttime, this trail was
going to be a piece of cake to follow, or
so he thought. Little did Cayden know what lies ahead
inside of that forest.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Do you have any ideas what that green blob might
be and where it came from. It's very strange that
it seems to be attracted to toothpaste and it wants
to eat everybody's toothpaste in the city. Well, friends, I
do not know what in the world is gonna happen.
All I know is this is a mystery that needs

(07:38):
to get solved or else we are in for a
world of trouble if that thing eats all of our toothpaste.
Protect your toothpaste at all cost, and I will see
you on tomorrow's adventure. Great job, you listened all the
