Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hey, friends, it's mister Jim and welcome back to kitch
your stories. Have you heard our new s Biology Squad podcast? Yes,
today is the new episode and you've got to check
that out after you hear how this mystery ends. Yeah,
you see, our spy team has become so popular with
you that we started its own podcast where you can

(00:26):
learn about science and have a spy adventure along the way. Well, friends,
are you ready to hear what happens next with Cayden?
Me too, Let's go. That night, it was very hard
for Caden to fall asleep because his mind was racing

(00:48):
about the spy adventure that was waiting for him in
the morning. But finally, beep, his alarm clock went off
and he sat straight up out of bed. He had
to get to work. There had never been a time
as fast as now that Cayden brushed his teeth, got dressed,
eate breakfast, and got ready for school. Hey, mom, how

(01:11):
are my friends doing? Do you know if they're feeling
any better yet? Well, I just received some text messages
from their parents and no, they still feel really not
well this morning, so they're gonna be staying home from school.
And I even heard that some of your other classmates
aren't feeling well either, so there must be a bug

(01:31):
going around school. Just be careful when you're at school. Okay, oh,
I'll be careful, all right, said Kayden. But I think
it's actually not really like a bug at school. I
think it's something else going on, something with the Purple Ninjas.
The Purple Ninjas, said his mom. If they are behind this,
I know you can stop them. Kayden, Just stay safe.

(01:54):
Cayden finished tying his shoes, opened the door, and started
walking towards school. He heard a lot of commotion, a
lot of noises, a lot of people talking like there
was a crowd outside, but he was very early in
the morning. It was not your average, you know, bus
stop crowd of people. There's something else going on up there.

(02:16):
Excuse me, what are all what are all you guys
doing here? Asked Kayden. As he was walking down the street.
There was a long line of people going all the
way down his street. Hey, the end of the line
is back there. No cutting, No cutting, said a person
in line. I'm not trying to get in line. What
are you in line for? Asked Kayden. Real, funny kid,

(02:39):
We're all in line for the same thing. Those healthy
snack balls have taken the town by storm. We don't
want to miss him before they sell out. No, no, no,
you should. I don't think you should eat those. My
friends eat those yesterday and they got really sick today. Ah,
you're not tricking me. I had one yesterday and yeah,

(03:00):
I don't feel great, but they said that was normal
and just to eat more. Cayden realized that there was
no hope in talking to these people. They had somehow
been brainwashed into believing that this snack ball was good
for you, but in fact he knew it wasn't. He
was running out of time before school started, so he

(03:21):
hurried along, running past the rest of the line. It
was a very long line of people waiting at this
snack truck, and he couldn't believe how quickly the whole
town had heard about this new thing. He walked into school,
got to his classroom and waited and waited, and only
a few of his classmates arrived. As the teacher walked in,

(03:42):
she explained, hello, class, it seems that there's a lot
of people home sick today, so today we're having a
movie day. Cayden was normally excited about a movie day,
at school, but not today. There was bigger, way, bigger
things going on. As the teacher started the movie, Kayden
couldn't help but just stare out the window. Thankfully, his

(04:06):
class was positioned in a way that looking out the
window could see the snack truck right there, that shiny
new purple snack truck. Figuring out this mystery is way
more important than watching a movie, Kayden whispered to himself.
During the next hour, he just had his eyes glued
on that purple truck outside. And finally something happened. Is

(04:31):
that a drone up there? It was hard for Kayden
to see out the window high enough, but high up,
just immediately above that purple truck, looked like there was
a drone coming down from the clouds, and it was
flying right towards the purple truck. It looked like it
was delivering a big box. It lowered the box and

(04:53):
set it down on the roof of that truck and
then zoomed back up towards the clouds. Gotta keep my
eye on that, see where it goes. As he watched
it fly up towards the clouds, the clouds started to
open up, revealing what was behind it. Is that the
purples to keep blimp? Holy smokes, said Kayden to himself.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
I was right along.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
He accidentally said that very loudly in his class, and
his teacher turned towards him and said, Kayden, is everything Okay?
What were you right about?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (05:29):
This movie? Uh? This movie is the best the best movie, right, guys.
Everyone was a little confused that why Cayden was acting strange,
but he couldn't reveal to everyone that he was on
the spy team and was currently in the middle of
an important investigation. The rest of the school day dragged on,
but finally the school bell rang and school was over.

(05:53):
Kayden grabbed his things and ran out the front door.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
HQ, this is Kayden.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
I have an update. Sh It's great to hear from you, Cayden.
What have you learned so far?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
SH? Well, I'm pretty sure I just saw the purple
blimp hovering up above the purple snack truck, and I
think they're delivering the supplies for it. It's gotta be
all connected to the Purple Ninjas and Doctor's staky breath.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Sh great job and the surveillance Caiden. We're gonna need
you to analyze one of those snack balls and use
your chemistry set that should be able to tell us
exactly what is going on with those snackballs. Let us
know what you find out. Over and out, sh.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Cayden ran towards where that purple snack truck was parked,
but unfortunately there was still a very long line.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
This is gonna take forever if I wait in that
line to get a piece of that snack well, excuse me.
Can I have a tiny little piece of that snackball
you just bought? You think you're gonna get a piece
of my delicious snack ball? You got another thing coming.
This is all over mine and no share in. How
in the world was Katen goetna get a sample to test?

(07:05):
You gotta find some crumbs or something. Someone must have
dropped it somewhere, maybe even the trash can, said Kayden.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Ugh, I can't believe I'm actually considering looking in the
trash can, but a duty calls. Unfortunately, there were no
crumbs on the floor, which meant Caiden had to look
inside of the trash can. Maybe, just maybe he would
get lucky enough that someone didn't eat their entire snack ball,
there'd be a piece for him to test. As he
picked up the lid to the garbage can and looked inside,

(07:35):
there were a whole bunch of rappers, but deep down
inside there it was a small piece leftover of a
snackball there.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Just gotta reach down and oh, this is disgusting.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Just gotta grab that and there all right, now to
run some tests inside of his spypack, he had a
special chemistry set that had this very secret special piece
of equipment that it can analyze anything just a few seconds.
All right, you just gonna line up the lasers and
press this button. And after the machine analyzed all the data,

(08:13):
the results were not good. Holy smoked. I was right, HQ.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
This is Cataen.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
The news is not good.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Come in over, sh what's the news, Kayden? Were able
to analyze some of those snack balls sh.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Yeah, and basically it's pure sugar with something added to
it to make it like you just always want more
and more and more. This is definitely not a healthy snack.
It's just a giant sugar ball. Sh.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
That's great to hear. Great work, Caden. We're gonna send
out a team and close down that purple snack truck
once and for all, over and out.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Sh Wow, great job Cayden.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
He solved that mystery. You see, in fact, that purple
snack truck was led by purple ninjas and because of
Cayden's persistence in figuring out this mystery, not only did
they shut down the snack truck, but he was also
able to help his friends and all the people in
the city get better from that terrible sickness they got

(09:24):
from those snack balls. Great job, Cayden. I'm so glad
that you are on the spy team.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Great job. You listened all the way to the end,
and you know what time it is. It's time for
cured shout out. I want to say to Alithia from Indonesia.
I love from Calgary, Maya from Massachusetts, Sarah and Matthias
from Montreal, Kiomi from Ontario, Hamden from the United Arab Emirates,

(09:59):
Sydney and Noah from I'm Raleigh, Argent and Edith from California.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
I'm so glad that you're all in the kitch. Orgsury's
family and Don this by team. We could not stop
doctor Stinky Breath and his crew without you, my friends,
Will you have a soup or two per day and
I will see you next time, Bye,
