We listen every night before bedtime and always look forward
to new episodes. Leave your review today and I will

(00:27):
read it on a story soon. Are you guys ready
for today's amazing adventure?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Me too? Let go.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
It was a rainy day outside as Luca was playing
with some of his toys. He had built an amazing
castle and whole world using some blocks, action figures, and cars.
It was amazing. This world that he built was something
that he had worked on for a very long time.

(01:05):
It's kind of like he was never done actually building it.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Have you ever worked on.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Something like that before, where every day you can add
to it to make it a little bigger, or a
little more exciting, or some more details. Yeah, the details
are the parts that make things extra special. Do you
know what details means? Yeah, it's all the little things.
So if you're making a castle, you might first build

(01:32):
the structure of the castle, but then to make it
a little more special, maybe you add a moat around
the castle or a drawbridge. Those things are the details
of what makes the castle or whatever you're building super
duper cool. Hey, Luca shouted one of his parents. We're
gonna be leaving at eleven fifty, so make sure that

(01:55):
you're ready before then. Okay, okay, shouted Luca. He turned
around to look at his clock to see what time
it was, how much more time he could work on
his world, but it was not showing anything. Oh, man,
I think my clock is out of batteries. Luca raced

(02:16):
over to the battery drawer, pulled it out and searched
for double a's. Hmmm, nothing in he No, no double
a's here, said Luca. Um, maybe the closet has some.
He ran over to the closet and checked no batteries
there either. How in the world was he going to

(02:38):
be ready to leave the house at eleven fifty if
he didn't know what time it was. What if, like
right now it was eleven forty eight and he only
had a two minutes left.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Dour, what if there is a whole hour? Hm?

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Luca had to find some batteries. He decided it might
be a good idea to grab some of his spy
gear to help him look for clues of batteries. As
he journeyed around his entire house, he finally found one
double A battery.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
But do you remember how many? He needed? Two?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
He needs two double A batteries. One is not enough.
He grabbed a flashlight and turned it on and started
to look in some places that maybe a battery might
have rolled into or under. Not in his closet, not
under his bed. Wait, underneath the couch was one more battery.

(03:33):
He finally had two double A batteries. He raced up
to his clock and carefully put them in the right
places in the clock, pressed the on button, and as
it turned on.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
It blinked.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Eh, Luca shouted. He had never seen his clock do
that before.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Why hello there, Oh can I help you?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Said his clock.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Holy smoke, How did you come alive?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Oh? Well, I've always been alive. I've just never had
much to say. But now that you're staring right at
my face, I say hello. Oh Hi, my name's Luca.
What's your name?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Why hello, Luca? My name is clock.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
A zoo did you say clock a zoo. Oh that's
a fun name.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Hi, clock a zoo? So uh again? Do you do
you know what time it is?

Speaker 1 (04:33):
That's that's why I, uh, that's what I need help
with right now, asked Luca.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Oh, dear, Hi, I do not know the time? What
time is it?

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Oh? No?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
What kind of clock doesn't know the time?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Clock a zoo started to cry because he didn't know
what time it was, and I think that's the clock's
only job. So I think Luca is gonna need to
give him some help. Oh, please do not cry, said Luca.
I will help you. Don't worry. We will figure out
the time together. Um, what about the sun? Doesn't the

(05:18):
sun help us tell time? Asked Luca.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
I think you're right, but I do not know how
to do that.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Luca put his hand underneath his chin as he started
to think very hard. Can you think of.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
A way of how.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
If you turned on a clock for the very first time,
how would you know what time it is? To program
that clock to have the right time?

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Hm.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Luca was thinking very very hard. He didn't know if
he was running out of time before his family was leaving,
or if there was plenty of time. It's quite the
situation to be in. Wait a second, I just remembered something,
said Luca.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
What is it bad? Is it good?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
Asked Klokazoo. Oh no, no, no, it's very very good.
Don't you worry. Just wait right here. I'll be right back. Oh,
don't worry. I won't move. I don't have any legs.
I'll wait right here. Luca raced off to go find
another clock somewhere else in his house. There would be

(06:34):
another clock, maybe on the.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Microwave or maybe hanging on the.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Wall somewhere, but there would surely be another place where
that time would show.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
All right, where's the clock? Where's the clock?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
I don't know if I'm running out of time or
have plenty left. Uh.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Oh, there's one. It says one one four eight one
one four eight. Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
He raced back over to where his Clockazoo, was sitting.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Eh, what did you did you find out what time
it was? Yes? Yes, it was Uh it was one
one for eight.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
How do I how do I change the the buttons?

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Hit the buttons right here.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
The clock had these buttons on the top of it,
and that would help change the time on it to
set it to the right time. Okay, I just have
a couple more buttons. I gotta get the get the
time all the way to Wait a second, what was
what was the time?

Speaker 2 (07:32):
I can't remember? Eleven? It was uh one one? What
were the other numbers? I don't remember. I don't have
a good memory. Ah ah was it uh one one
for something?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Yes it was uh it was one one for eight? Yes, hurry,
tap tap tap tap tap. He tapped on the buttons
until the clock finally showed eleven forty eight.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
You've done it, loud.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Oh, it feels so much better to have to write
time on my face. Oh didn't you say you had
to go somewhere?

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Luca then remembered, Holy smokes, Yeah, you're right. I had
to get ready to leave. It was like eleven fifty.
I think how many more minutes until then? Luca looked
back at the clock and it now read eleven forty nine.
Holly smokes, there's only one more minute left.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Faka zoo.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
I gotta go get my shoes on because I gotta go.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
But uh, thanks for telling me the time.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Bye Ooh those kids and their things, they're always running too.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I'm just glad to be back to normal.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
The end.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
