Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. Hey friends, it's mister Jim and welcome back to kid
Short Stories. If this is your first time, welcome to
the family. You see, all of our episodes come from
ideas from kids just like you. So if you head
an orver to our website kidshort stories dot Com, there's
a little form there where you can fill out your
idea for a real adventure about you, and then maybe

we'll turn it into a real adventure. Well, friends, are
you ready for Rellion's awesome idea? Me too. Let's go
a long time ago in a far away, magical place,
lived at t rex named mister H. Why hello there, Yes,

(00:53):
that is my name, and mister H lived in a
place we're some very interesting foods grew in the wild. Oh,
the most delicious of foods. You see. Mister H was
an interesting t rex because he was a vegetarian. He
did not catch other critters to eat them. Oh that

(01:15):
is disgusting. Do you mean to say that there are
t rexes that eat other animals? Oh dear, He only
liked eating salads and fruits and vegetables of course. Oh yes,
I would love to share with you some of my
secret salad recipes. Oh chopped up apples and carrots, and

(01:39):
pineapples and peaches, and oh, in a nice big leafy ball.
That is how I love to spend my day. But
on the other side of town grew a ginormous field
of wild cotton candy. Cotton candy of all kinds, of
different flavors and colors, pink, blue, and purple. They filled

(02:03):
the fields over there. But mister H did not like sugar.
He didn't really even like to touch candy. But today
something pretty crazy he was about to happen to mister H. Oh,
today's going to be the best day ever, said mister H.

(02:24):
You know why, kids, mister H was a teacher. He
taught how to build the most delicious salad bowls in
the whole school. Going to do to tell mister Elt,
we're syrup salad? To learn a much salad burn, shouted
one of the students. Oh, why today we are going

(02:46):
to add spices and oil into our delicious salad. None
of the students knew what spices or oils what those
things were, but they always knew that mister H came
up with the most delicious salads of all time. I
must now step outside to the garden and gather some

(03:09):
wild spices and herbs that will be delicious for our salad.
Hang tight, students, I'll be right back, said mister H
as he walked out of the classroom. All the students
were very excited, but a little nervous because the clouds
outside were very dark, a little scary looking, but mister

(03:30):
H was not paying attention. Uster old, look careful out there,
shouted one of the students. Oh, don't worry about me,
I've been an expert gardener for a long time. No,
but look at those clouds over there, they shouted as
they pointed out the window. And then all of a sudden,

(03:53):
a ginormous tornado came out from the clouds. Hen suckd up,
mister H. Huh h. The class couldn't believe their eyes
as they just watched their teacher, mister H, get sucked
up into it tornado. I've never seen a t rex

(04:15):
get sucked into a tornado, but that sounds pretty silly
crazy to me. Oh, it all happened so fast. As
mister H spun around and around and around, he was
getting very dizzy, and all of a sudden, the tornado
launched him through the air and he came down with

(04:37):
a crashing boom. What did the carnation happen to me?
Said mister H as his head wobbled back and forth
and he looked around. He was very confused and disoriented,
and he had landed in a place that he had
never been before. What is all of this bright, pink,

(05:01):
fluffy stuff, mister H said? Oh no, And I forgot
to tell you that that giant tornado that sped him
around und around around around, it erased his memory. Holy smokes,
what would you do if you lost your old memory?
Mister H bent down to take a closer look at
that very fluffy pink stuff. He carefully stuck out his

(05:23):
tongue and licked it. Instantly, his eyes sprung open. Oh
that was the most delicious thing I've ever tasted. I
want some more? And oh no. All of a sudden,
mister H opened his mouth and started running around the field,

(05:44):
collecting as much of that pink fluffy stuff. Do you
know what that pink fluffy stuff is that he's eating? Yeah,
cotton candy. Oh dear a teed Rex's first taste of
cotton candy. Everybody looked better, look out, he's gonna get
a sugar rush Nnam, mister H started running around the

(06:08):
whole field, eating every bit of cotton candy growing in
that field. It wasn't long before he stopped to catch
his breath. Oh my, that was good, but oh dear,
I have a dummy. His two tiny little arms wrapped

(06:31):
around his very big belly full of cotton candy, and
he tipped right over. Boom, Oh dear, what have I done?
I think I made a whoopsie. Instantly, all of his
memories came rushing back. Oh my, I better get back

(06:54):
to my class. As mister H picked himself up back
off from the he started walking back towards his class
because he needed to finish teaching them how to make salads,
not running off and eating all of that cotton candy.
And that was the day that mister H learned a
very valuable lesson that t rexes should not eat cotton

(07:18):
candy because once they have one taste, it's hard to
control from eating an entire field of it and then
getting a really bad dummy ache. And he was really
happy to get back to eating his favorite delicious salads
and to teach his class on how to use those
spices and oils. The end. Great job, you listened all

the way to the end, and you know what time
