Hi! I'm Jim Jacob, a South Carolina based creator. I started as a podcaster by accident. Our first real episodes on the internet were me trying to find a solution to help tell my sons stories as I was traveling for work. I recorded some stories and hoped that by uploading them to a podcast app, my wife and kids could have easy access to listen. What started as a fix for our family’s bedtime routine interruption has grown into a worldwide audience with hundreds of thousands of listeners. Welcome back to another episode of Mister Jim Hangout said,
Hold on a second, there's a there's a bee in
my studio. Yeah, I don't get out, go away by,
leave me alone, all right. I don't see him. I
think he's gone. Sorry about that, friends, I was just

(00:24):
about to, you know, I think do our hangout episode?
And then this this bee came out of nowhere, and
I think he was trying to eat me. Okay, I
don't remember anything of what I was going to say.
That bee must have stolen it out of my Oh,
maybe it's a spyby. Yes, it must be from doctor

(00:46):
sinky breath. That's totally what's going on. So oh yeah,
I think we're at the part of the show where
I normally do ah, would you rather right?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Yeah? So hmm. Would you rather be locked in a
studio with some kind of killer spyby like me? Or
would you rather be stuck inside your bathroom with the
lights out and then something crawls over your foot? Those

(01:18):
are both terrifying things. And wow, I can't imagine. Well,
I'm imagining the first one because I'm living it right now.
I can see it. I see the spyby looking at
me right now. Okay, So would you rather be stuck
inside of a studio like me with a spyby, or

(01:39):
in the dark of a bathroom and something crawls over
your FOOTO? Both they're not good, but uh, anything to
get me out of here. I'm choosing a dark bathroom.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
How about you.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Hold on, I'll be right back. Wow, it's pretty dark
in here. Yeah. I kind of took the wood you
rather seriously, and I went and hid in my bathroom
and turned the lights off, and I just really hope
that nothing crawls over my foot. So what this week's

(02:14):
challenge for you? I'm thinking of really tall things or
really deep things. So I want you to go outside
and find a place safely and in the right place,
asking your parents' permission, where you can either dig the
deepest hole that you possibly can or make the tallest

(02:40):
thing that you possibly can you know, using branches, sticks,
I don't know. Whatever you can find to make the
tallest thing that you possibly can. Maybe it'll be even
be taller than you. Ooh, that would be cool.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
If you choose to dig on this challenge, hsh, then
maybe you can pretend like you're digging for some kind
of buried birrate treasure or an alien egg, one of
the two.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
You know, aliens like to dig their eggs pretty deep.
Good luck, and if you choose to make something really tall,
maybe you can pretend that you're like a lego person who.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Must climb super super tall because I love volcano exploded
and there's lava everywhere, and yep, you gotta get high
off the ground when there's lava flowing everywhere.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Ah, something touched my toe. I oh dear, I'm serious.
I'm standing here in this very dark bathroom. I thought
I was alone, but something just touched my baby toe. Well,
I think I I think it's about time I get
out of here between that killer spiby and whatever's in

here with me. I think it's about time this hangout
