Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hey, friends, welcome back to kids' short stories. If this
is your first time, welcome to the family. My name
is mister Jim, and I love turning your ideas into
awesome adventures. You see, parents, We do stories every single
day based on ideas. That's kids all around the world.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Send in.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
I turn that little idea into a really fun adventure
and this has helped reduce screen time and increase imagination.
So if that sounds awesome, click that follow button. Well, friends,
are you ready for today's adventure? Me too. Let's go.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
All right, pippins, I need update.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
But are you working on today?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Well?

Speaker 4 (00:47):
By Professor sticky fingers, he was working on something. It
looks like a big bouncy ball, except at the big
sticky ball and if somebody touches it, then I get
stuck inside and that's sticky ball.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Oh, I likes the idea. Is the professor around? Oh boy,
hey boys, yeah, I'm over here. I was just working
on these really sticky balls, and I.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Think it could be perfect in catching a whole bunch
of people.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Oh yeah, how many of them?

Speaker 3 (01:21):
Could do you think you could make for me?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:26):
I think we could have a couple of thousand. By
the end of today. Perfect no pepper ninches. How Vivik
scatter all these bouncy bowls everywhere without people knowing exactly
what it is.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Yeah, we want to keep it a surprise for like
a trap. So you know how we have all those
volcanoes kind of under our control?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
Well. We were thinking maybe we could fill up some
of the volcanoes with these sticky bounty balls and then
you know it gains the volcanoes blasts. I'm into the sky.
What do you think about that?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I like it?

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Now get you work. It was a beautiful day outside
as Silas was playing with his friends. They were playing
a game of Critter Protectors at the playground. As they
were imagining all the amazing critters that were on the
loots at the park and it was up to them
to protect them. Have you heard of our Critter Protector Team? Yes,

(02:26):
we are a team that loves critters of all shapes
and sizes, and it's our job to protect them either
around the world or in our backyard. And if that
sounds fun to you, have your parents. Go down to
the show notes of this episode, click on the link,
and you will receive your very own critter protector badge
in the mail for free guys. Don't let those herd

(02:47):
of buffaloes run off. There's a cliff over there, shouted Silas.
They were working together to calm down these imaginative buffaloes
who were lost in this park. It's gonna be okay now,
just calm down, said Silas, as he was helping these
critters feel safe. Hey, Silas, there's some real frogs over here.

(03:08):
Come on over. Silas and his friends raced over to
where his friend was leaning over in a stream that
was nearby the park, and they were right. There were
frogs and tadpoles and all kinds of things swimming and
jumping around in the stream. They knew what they had
to do, all right, guys, Now that we know that
this stream is full of wildlife and critters, we've got

(03:30):
to make sure that we get out all that trash
out of the water.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Come on.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Their imaginative game of saving imaginative buffaloes had now shifted
into saving real critters. These tadpoles and frogs need to
stay in clean water, and so Silas and his friends
worked together to remove all the garbage and trash from
this stream and just as they finished, Silas got a

(03:54):
message from the spy team. He looked down in his
pocket that had his walkie talkie in it, and he
knew that he had to step away for a minute
to listen to this message. Hey, guys, I think I
have to run home. But it was really fun saving
all those frogs and tadpoles. Maybe we can finish it
more tomorrow. Okay, see letter Silas. They waved goodbye as

(04:17):
Silas ran back to his house to listen to this message. Silas,
we need your help. There is a volcano nearby that
looks like it's about to explode. It's about to explode.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yes, the local zoo is the most closest to the volcano.
We need you and all the other Critter Protectors to
work together to save all the critters there from this
exploding volcano. We'll send you the coordinates. Act fast. We're
running out of time, over and out.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
Sh I gotta get back to the playground and tell
all of them I need their help. Silas ran back
to the playground as fast as he could. Guys, Hey,
I'm glad you're still here. So you know how we
were playing Critter Protectors. It's actually it's a real thing.
What are you talking about, Silas, They asked, like, it's

(05:13):
a real organization. Like, check out my badge here. He
showed them his Critter Protector badge and they couldn't believe it.
It was real. There's a volcano that's about to explode
by the zoo and all those critters they need to
be protected. Who's with me? Immediately, every single friend of
Silas's raised their hand and stepped forward. We're in Silas,

(05:37):
let's do this. Little did they know that that game
that they were playing at the playground would actually prepare
them for a real job of protecting the critters. As
they jumped on their bikes and raced towards the zoo,
they did not know what to expect. Was it gonna
be lava, smoke, dust, wind, earthquake. All of those were

(06:02):
serious possibilities, and an explosion from a volcano, but Silas
and his friends were not expecting what was about to happen.
As they arrived at the zoo, there were a ton
of people there. Everybody, you need to get out of here.
There's a volcano that's about to explode, yelled Silas. A

(06:24):
crowd of people started to panic, and run as fast
as they could for the exits of the zoo. All right,
everyone split up, find any critters that are out of
their enclosures and find a safe place to move them
to hurry go. Silas and all of his friends split
up looking for critters that might be vulnerable to a

(06:47):
volcano explosion, which I'm pretty sure is every single one
of them. They have a lot of work to do.
If you were needing to protect critters from a volcano explosion,
what would you do you I don't know exactly what
I would do. Maybe, you know, get him off the
ground in case lava started flowing across the ground. That's

(07:11):
that might work. But then all of a sudden, the
ground began to shake.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Everybody take cover, shouted Silas.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Oh no, what in the world is going to happen
with this volcano explosion? Is it really gonna be lava?
Or wait a second, what was it that the Purple
Ninjas and doctor Sinkybreath were working on. I'm not sure,
but we're gonna have to wait and see what happens
on the next episode of Kids Short Stories. Great job,

(07:55):
you listened all the way to the end, and you
know what time it is? It's time for dude shout out,
so I want to say hey to Cedar and Sage
from Westchester, Nina from Canada, Jennifer from Maryland, Emily and
Izzy from New Hampshire, Gabe from British Columbia, and Dakota
from Lafayette, Indiana. I'm so glad that you're all in

(08:16):
the Kit short Story's family and on the spy team.
We could not stop Doctor Stinky Breath and his crew
without you, my friends. Will you have got to check
out those Critter Protector badges down in the show notes below.
We'll see you next time. Bye,
