Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is kJ Live with Chris john S. Allen and
Chris is having conversations with influencers in the sports world
and entertainment in this strain. Now here's Chris Johnson. You're
now too, Then to kJ Live. Today's guests on the show.
(00:26):
Was recently kicked out of the Bucks Verse Warriors game
by j Mind Green and by Server Arena a few
days ago. His name is Mike Hearthorne. He's here on
kJ live exclusively to talk about what happened, what was said,
and how he's doing throughout this ordeal. Let's walk him in.
Mike Harthorne to kJ Live. What's good, my brother j Man,
(00:47):
pleasure to be on the show to day, Man, everything
is good. It's a pleasure to have you. My brother
had to had to make some calls and some moves
behind the scenes. Man, it's a small world, and I
appreciate everybody wasn't that was involved in connecting us as well. Man,
Let's cut right to the chase. Man, We've seen this
happen over the last couple of years, Chris Paul getting
(01:10):
people removed from the Game's Carmelo Now Draymond Green. Draymond's
on TV. He's out here on tape talking about you.
A fan threatened his life during the game. My question
to you, Mike, did you threaten Draymond Green's life? Man, No,
not at all, Like I said, all I said. All
I said to him was he was underneath the freaklow line.
(01:33):
Took that one, I said. I told my friend Brandon.
Fan said, man, I'm about to say something. So he
underneath the freakow line. I got his attention, I said, Draymond,
I said, we're giving you a pass. He said, what passed?
I said, Man, we're giving you a pass. He said,
you ain't ship what passed? I said, Man, we're giving
you a pass. You know what I mean. So evidently
(01:56):
he was ready for it. He was he was waiting
for that to happen, and uh and he just he
blew it out a proportion actually, So basically, I don't
know how you can take that as a threat when
you say giving him a pass? What what were you
referring to? Like, why why does Dramond need a pass
in the city of Milwaukee? Man? Basically, you know, I
(02:17):
was speaking up. I was speaking up for the city
of Milwaukee, basically telling like, man, we're giving you a pass.
We we haven't forgot about what you did. You know
what I'm saying, a big bully, we haven't forgot about
what you did, and we're giving you a pass. We
forgive you, you know what I mean. But we haven't forgot,
you know, So basically telling them we give we give
you a pass, I'll give you a pass. So, so
(02:38):
the situation earlier this season, we saw Draymond and Jordan
Pool getting to the fight and practice. Jordan Poole being
from the city of Milwaukee that sort of rubbed everybody
the wrong way in the city and make no mistake
about it, huh of course. And I'm coming from from
being from Milwaukee and from a basketball fan perspective, absolutely
let alone. You don't let alone him being from a Walker.
(03:01):
You don't do that to your teammate, you know what
I mean, especially if somebody is supposed to have that
connection with and love. So yeah, I was speaking up.
I was speaking up for a walk and we felt like, man,
that was like we we saw a little brother again, bully,
and we couldn't do nothing about it, you know what
I mean. So, yeah, we we don't forgot about it.
We're giving you a pass, man, But but by no
means where you threatening Draymond's life? Where you're insinuating after
(03:25):
the game, but we go, we go see your ass
at the hotel. Anything like. Listen, if you punch somebody,
if somebody punch you in the face, somebody punch you
in the face, and you totally forgive him you want
and you run into him. Man, I'm giving you a pass.
Is he gonna feel threatened? He should feel thankful. He
should feel thankful. I'm giving you, are giving you a pass.
(03:45):
So how does that threatening your life? Come on, man,
I'm an R and B sing girl. Come on, yes, sir,
threaten your life? I just gave I just gave a
T shirt to a little kid in the stands. I'm
down there having fun. How long have you been losing? Man?
You're taking everything personal? You know what I mean? And
now you know you know. Draymond is known to sort
(04:06):
of get into it. He's known to speak his mind.
Last couple of weeks, I think he got fined twenty
five racks for getting into it with a fan in Dallas.
But this time it seemed like this situation was a
little different. I mean, when you when you when you
watched the clip Mike, and you see Draymond repeating the
words that you had said as far as the past.
He was really you know, he was really thinking about that.
(04:27):
Those words got him to think it. He was. He
was a deep deliberation over there. He needs to think
because maybe he needs to think about that for further actions.
You know. I mean he does it all the time.
Who says it's gonna who says it's not gonna happen again?
You know, I think he's better. Um, I think he
don't like the fact that he's uh Mr triple single himself,
(04:48):
you know what I mean. So, and it was down,
It was down by twenty one year. If anybody knows me,
I'm a big trash talking when I'm playing basketball. So yeah,
I picked the right time to, you know, say what
I had to say. Yeah. Do you feel like when
you look at the big scheme of things in the
NBA and fan Behavior Code of Conduct, do you feel
like this example of what happened between you and Draymond
(05:09):
would be looked at sort of like frowned upon, and
the NBA is going to increase their efforts because of
a claim that a player was making. Or do you
feel like do you feel like that. You know, fans
have the right. They pay good money for tickets, they
come into the game, and then as long as they're
not explicitly threatening someone's life, you have the right to
(05:30):
say what you feel. Uh yeah, I feel like they know.
I feel like they're going in a good direction with that.
They should keep that up, you know. Um, I just
think Draymond misused his power. If you say that he
misused his power yesterday trash talking this part of basketball.
I never used any profanity, and um yeah, I think
(05:51):
it was all relevant, It was all valid, you know
what I mean. I didn't I didn't say anything malicious,
you know what I mean. So, yeah, I think he
really misused his power. But on the other hand, the NBA,
they've done a great job with that. They should keep
that up because there is some it's some racist fans
out there something and some people who do said very
file things. But no, I kept it clean, you know
what I mean. But I just, you know, basically, just
(06:13):
a reminder. Talk to me about how the Bucks organization
handled the ejection. Oh man, they were they were actually great.
They we went to the back, they explained everything. They
explained everything to me. They explained that they were gonna
give me a refund um my ticket, my ticket money
plus uh court side seas for future games. You know
(06:35):
the two police officers who was actually right there because
a police officer and the league security who came back
there and vouched for me because they were right there
and said, I didn't say use any profanity. I didn't
say anything malicious. So yeah, the NBA, they were very
very professional about everything. They they took care of me. Great.
Does this does this incident sour your experience as a
(06:59):
Bucks fan going to the game? Like do you look
at this like, man, I can't even give nobody a
hard time? Or you're not really not at all, not
at all, not at all, not because that's what you
pay for you to be able to do that. But look,
as long as you're keeping it clean though, keep it basketball,
keep it clean. It's ways to do it. And I
feel like that's how I feel. It's just Draymond. It's Draymond.
(07:21):
We're not talking about Look, I didn't even know he
had that much pool. I remember you mentioned Lebron, You
mentioned Lebron j CP three. We're talking about Draymond Green.
Draymond Green. You got that much Bulley Mr Triple sing
for himself. Come on, man, you're a bully. You're a bully.
You can't take the heavenling back. That's what I do.
I'm I'm I play ball, I trashed up. You can't
(07:44):
take it man, I mean, come on man. Yeah, but
players nowadays, but Mike players nowadays, they got a lot
of power. You know, they could go on the road
into a hostile environment. Fans, fans, those home fans can
be doing their normal thing, you know, places like mit
Walk you Tah where they go crazy. And now a player,
a player, if he don't like something somebody says, he
(08:07):
can get them thrown out and removed. Now do you
feel like that that power is too much of like,
too much power to give these guys or should reps
have more say so? And who gets thrown out? No,
I don't think it's Uh, I don't think they should
have too much power. I don't. I don't. I don't
think that's too much power. Maybe it depends on it
(08:28):
depends on the severity of what's someone set. If there's
really some racist somebody said, really said something racist or
threaten into somebody life, yes, get him out of there. Yeah,
you know, but everybody know basketball talk. The people around
me her basketball talk is Draymond is his character. He um,
he a big baby. He's trying to stay relevant. He
(08:50):
know that he had the end of the he had
to end of his career. I think, no, man, I
think they're doing a great job. I won't. I wouldn't
go as far as saying, um, review things, you know
what I mean, because it's it's hard. It's hard to
review things or maybe even have a uh seat monitors,
you know what I mean. But the port side, you
(09:10):
know what I mean. But because it's hard to say
what to tell you what the fan to him with
the fan actually said. But no, no, I don't think.
I don't think they give them too much power. Someone
really says some some crazy things. Yes, get them out
of there. M how much you do Guys like Kevon
Looney Jordan's pool of mean to the city of Milwaukee
and the people. Man. Uh, they mean a lot. I
(09:34):
understand them. Two guys that get back to their communities. Um.
Kevon Lone he grew up playing for the Running Rebels organization.
I know he gives back to them. He I hear
a lot of great things about them. I hear a
lot of great things, and I'm big fans because they're
they're showing people or young kids that it's possible. It's
possible to to pursue your dream and get to where
you want to be working and discipline. So yes, it's
(09:58):
it's definitely when they beg for the City of Milwaukee.
Facts huge facts facts. What about yourself, man, I mean,
I know you got all this notoriety for for what happened,
but tell me about what you do. Man. I know
you're you're a singer or you're an artist and you're
involved in that space. Talk to me about that and
where the folks can find your music or your Instagram,
(10:18):

learned or takeaways that you took that you have from

may be a lesson for him, you know what I mean?
It may be then going on his attitude his you know,
like man, people watch you can't just go You just
can't bully anybody. You can't just hit anybody because you
don't can't be a rookie. The younger man. We felt
(12:51):
like you you bully a little brother, you know what
I mean. So, yeah, we spoke up. But far as
learning a lesson, um, yes and yes and no. I
can't I can't really say. But for him, for him,
