And appreciate you guys for tuning in every week. You

let's get into the topic of today's podcast. So today's
(00:22):
podcast is going to be all about s bs. So
if you don't like sbs, just leave right now. It's
cool and I'm just kidding. But um, even if you
don't like s bes, just hear me out. Let's let's
talk for a little bit. So, if you don't live
under a rock, you know that sps are like the
biggest shoe right now. Everyone's obsessed with them. Um, I
mean sbs and dunks, um everybody. That's all anybody wants
(00:43):
to wear. Like that's the only thing that's selling out.
I mean, it's not the only thing that's selling out.
I don't want to say that, but um, it's definitely
like the hottest shoe right now that silhouette is like
for sure the hottest shoe, so I kind of wanted
to go through a list. I actually found this really
cool article on High snob. It is the fifty most
influential Nike dunks in history. So I haven't been a
(01:04):
Nike dunkhead since the day I was born. Um, I
was born. Like some people think that the only way
for you to be into dunks is if you were
born in um, the late eighties, but I mean, I
beg to differ. So today we're gonna be going through
this list, and I want to kind of give my
two cents on some of these shoes because actually a
(01:25):
lot of these shoes I own, slash really want really bad.
So let's uh kind of go through this article and
just hear me out. I'm gonna give my opinion on
some of these shoes and kind of like where I
feel like the dunk slash as b craze is going
to go. So a lot of these are gonna are
going to be older, um, so a lot of these
are gonna have like really cool stories behind them. So
(01:46):
let's let's uh jump into it without further ado. So
the number fifty UM on the fifty most influential Nike
dunks in history is the Nike sp dunk low CALLI
so those of you who haven't seen it before. Basically
what it is is it's a white and brown upper
with a little red star um towards the sock liner,
(02:10):
with a green mid sole and a red outsol. I
don't know if my sneaker grammar is correct. Um Seth
Fowler would probably need to help me out with this one,
but for the most part, I think I think that's
what it is, and has brown laces and a brown
sack liner. I think that these shoes are fire now.
Growing up in California, obviously, you know there is some
sort of a sentimental value behind this shoe. I've actually
(02:34):
always wanted it and I haven't been able to find
one in my size. It's been hasn't been easy. So um,
they're going for about like a thousands now, so they
jumped up a lot. I wish I was able to
buy them earlier, but your boy's gonna take another l
But basically, the significance behind the shoe, according to High
(02:54):
Snob is Californian surfers were the ones that brought us skating,
so it's only right that the Golden States flag was
commemorated with a dunk. That's interesting. So they're saying that
people from California it started skating because of surfing. I
don't know the story behind that exactly, but I think
this is a fire shoe. So I'm surprised that that's
number fifty, Like, I don't know. There must be some
(03:15):
crazy bangers on here. So next one number is an
KSP dunk low Bison. I love this color way. There's
another shoe that I don't have that I want really bad,
and um, how much are there going for? Now? Dude?
I got an offer for these for five Okay, great,
so I want to buy them now, lows ask. So
that's fun. And basically what it is, it's a so
(03:39):
the top of the shoe is all suede, the fronts red,
the middle section in the swoosh is like a dark brown,
and the back section is a lighter brown, like kind
of like the Travis Scott Jordan one brown vibes, And um,
I'm pretty sure they're brown. Are they black? I don't know.
I think it's a dark brown, I'm not sure. And
(03:59):
then the midsole looks black to me, and then the
bottom looks like kind of like a dirtier gum gun bottom.
I think these are fires. So these came out in
two thousand and three. Um, one of my good friends actually,
um Mada. Shout out Mata if you're listening to this.
He he wore these. He's the first person I ever
saw wearing these, So shout out to Mata. He definitely
UM showed me those shoes. I think I thought they
(04:19):
were really sick. I haven't been able to really find
a pair in my size, but super Flames and these
came out of March two thousand three. The Bison was
one of the first dunks to arrive in the new
silver and black box of that era. It featured an
all suede upper and rare brown slash gum split soul um.
So well, it's I guess, one of the first dunks
to be in the silver silver box era. So that's
(04:41):
that's pretty cool. Um. A lot of the dunks you
can tell like how old they are according to the
color of the box and also how how faded the boxes. Um,
but yeah, that's super cool. I really really like those.
So moving on number forty eight, The soul Land Times
and niksp Dunk High Friday Part two. I don't know
(05:02):
if I'm gonna get flamed for this, but I've actually
never heard of this shoe, never seen it before. Oh well,
it's actually a recent shoe. Came out three years ago,
December two, And since I know nothing of it, let's
just read the significance that high Stop set, the second
part of Solon's ongoing collaboration with Nanki has by. This
more contemporary pair featured a mini swoosh over the regular swish,
as well as premium materials. Honestly, I'm not that crazy
(05:26):
about this shoe. Um, I probably wouldn't put this in
my top fifty. Last sales about three hundreds, so I
guess they're not going for that much money. But I
don't know. I'm not that crazy about it. So let's
move on. Next one. Nike SB Dunk Hi Paul Brown. Okay,
now this is an o G dunk. This one came
out in two two, and this Paul Brown Dunk was
(05:48):
Nikes Nike Hasb's first ever high and became a hit
thanks to its muted earth tones. So that's crazy. I
didn't know that that's crazy. So it was Nike as
he's ever high. Wow, So I think before like there
are highs that are before two and two, but those
were considered dunk, So I guess this is an actual
sp high UM, which is interesting because pretty much every
(06:12):
skater that I talked to says that they hate UM
skating in high tops. So it's funny, like I've seen
some samples of like some Supreme dunks at Project Blitz
Shout Out Blitz and a few others UM like samples
floating around where people were like skaters will literally cut
off the top of the shoe to make it kind
of like a low top and um, I don't know
(06:32):
if that makes it more expensive or less because it
is a sample, but it is messed up. Well, I
don't know, it's it's interesting. So these are super fire
and see how much these ones go for. It is
an older shoe and it's not that hyped. Oh wow,
last sale was so that's pretty great. But there's only
one sale, so I don't know next one. So the
(06:53):
night he has to be dunk high Sea Crystal. Now
these are pretty fire, not necessarily my favorite color. UM.
I don't know if I would rock these. I definitely
respect UM the significance of the shoe, and the Nike
dunk Hi was inspired by godfather. This Nike Dunkai was
inspired by the Godfather of NIKESB. Sandy Bowdecker and the
(07:13):
washed out sea glass he used to collect as a
child on the beaches of Connecticut. Literally that the significance
little snippet made me like the shoes so much more
because it's so cool, like the fact that it has
a story like that that he used to just collect
um sea glass And for those of you don't know,
sea glasses like it just glass that ends up going
in the ocean and over time it gets rounded and
(07:35):
turns into these like really cool pebbles. So dope like that,
that's so sick. I didn't know that. I just thought
it was like a weird colored tripe honestly, And um, well,
that's so cool. That's so cool. So these ones came
out in two thousand and four, and they were inspired
by the Godfather of NIKSB Sandy Bowdecker. So shout out,
Shout out, Sandy, Rest in peace. Next is the Nike
has B Dunklow Shanghai one and two. So these ones
(07:59):
came out in two thousand four and two thousand and five.
The first Shanghai Dunklow was mostly an Asian exclusive and
was inspired by the temples of Shanghai. The second color
way was inspired by traditional bamboo steamer. Um, let's see
these Johnson's. So the last sale and these guys was
like six dred but I mean the highest been right
now is seven hundred. So I've seen these shoes before.
(08:21):
I'm not that crazy about them, to be honest. I
like the tones and it kind of is giving me
a little bit of cause slash coraline dunk vibes with
those without like stitching, and and it is inspired by
like a Shanghai temple. So um, I think they're cool,
like you know, the mid section in the front, like
the toe boxes, it's like the hemp kind of vibes. Um.
I'm surprised I haven't seen Travis wearing these because they're
(08:42):
very his look. So number forty four, the next shoe,
we have, the Nike SB dunk Hi Cheech and Chong.
Now I think that these shoes are actually super dope.
These came out in two thousand and eleven and they
took direct inspiration from Chi Cheech and Chong America's first
iconic stoners. So I personally don't smoke. Um, I have
(09:03):
a lot of friends who do. I've never smoked rety before.
I'm probably one of the only people in California who
has ever smoked. Surprisingly, I have my own like personal reasons,
but I don't judge for people. I don't judge people
who do. I don't know. It's a long story and sorry,
I'll probably get into some other time. But anyway, Um,
so these are the cheech and chunks and um, it's
(09:24):
what it's really cool about these shoes is actually when
you skate in them, or I mean, you could just
get like a nail filer or sandpaper or something and
you just rub off like the white material. And know,
for those of you guys who are listening, I haven't
seen this. Um honestly, you guys should be following along. Guys. Um,
it's a If you search Hyson a bid the best
Nike dunks of all Time, you'll find the article and
(09:45):
you'll see what I'm talking about. You guys can follow
along if you want. But anyway, it's mostly a white
upper with like a yellow gum sole and the back
is red and one of the shoes hasn't been Danna
print on it or Paisley, and I think it's super fire.
And underneath, basically when you when you rub the shoe down, um,
it looks like weed. So it's like green on the inside. Um.
(10:06):
I've seen a few people take lighters and like kind
of burn it, so so they burned the top off
and then like it's like the weed under and it's
like burnt. It looks really cool. Um. Since I don't
smoke weed, I probably wouldn't do that. I just think
that the silhouette of the shoe is sick, and I'm sorry,
I think that the color way of the shoe is sick.
And I love the corduroy and the Baisley print. I
(10:27):
think it's so fire. But these shoes came out in
two thousand and eleven. Um, I don't know how much
they're going for now. I think that I think they're
about like a thousand dollars now if I'm not mistaken. Yeah,
less sale was a thousand, So yeah, they're pretty fire shoes.
So wow, So we got a really new shoe on
the list. Number forty three is the Strange Love Skateboard
Skateboards Time Snakey hasp Dunklos. So these are the Strange Loves.
(10:50):
Now this shoe is insane. Yeah, I mean, let's read
the significance first. Another contemporary release. Another contemporary really, this
time by the way of Sean Cliver and a Strange
Love skateboarding company. This particular pair of celebrated Valentine's Day
with a lot of plush pink paneling. Wow, that is
a alliteration for sure, plush pink paneling. And um, I
(11:15):
think that these shoes are dope. And the crazy thing
about this shoe was that pre release it was going
for like three dollars and now it's going for a
thousand dollars. So you could have bought these before they
came out flexed on everybody because you had a hashtag
team early look at me looking ass and and you
still could have made money on these shoes, which is
(11:37):
crazy to me. I I just I just can't believe it.
I can't believe they're going for this much. I don't
know what exactly drove the price up so much, but
they're pretty fire. Um. I do have a pair of these,
So this is one of the first shoes on this
list that I actually have, and I do have a
pair of these because they're newer. Okay, cut me some
slack anyway. So next shoe is the Travis Scott times
Nankee as to be dunk Low. So these actually came back,
(11:59):
came out the same time as the Strangeloves, and Travis
Scott is a huge fan of nkesps and his Nike's
most marketable asset finally got a chance to give the
dunk Low his own spin. So um so Travis, honestly,
I think he killed this shoe. I think it's fire.
I love the Paisley print as I mentioned before, kind
of like with the Cheech and Chong, like the cool
(12:19):
like little flannel print and he's a big flannel guy. Um.
And then he has his own print like the Cactus
Jack records. And then much like the Cheech and Chong's
actually um, when you peel off the Paisley, it reveals
like a different print underneath. It's like an elephant slash
like Cactus Jack. I don't know, like some people are
calling an elephant. It looks more like like lightning bolts
(12:39):
to me. But yeah, fire shoe. I genuinely actually really
liked the shoe. I have two pairs. Um, I see
this as a shoe that's definitely gonna stick around, and
I think it's gonna go up in my opinion. Let's
see how much of these Johnson's are going for now. Wow,
so last sale was six I actually um got one
pair from Blitz. I think I paid a thousand for them.
(13:02):
I think that's how much they were going for at
the time. But yeah, that's crazy that they're growing up
that much. Okay, So the next shoe we have on
the list are the com De Garson Times Nike Duncai.
Now let me tell you, guys a story about the shoe. So, um,
they came out in February seventeen. So I guess I
was in London, like towards the end of two seventeen,
(13:25):
um or I don't know exactly when I was there,
but um, this shoe was sitting on the clearance rack.
I should you know. I was in self Ridges, you know,
sitting on the clearance rack, and it was like I
think it was like sixty nine pounds or like seventy
pounds or whatever, and like, um, yeah, six nine Come on, guys,
that jokes with the boys. But anyway, um, wow, that
(13:49):
was awful. So I saw these sitting on the shelf,
which I saw them and at the time I wasn't
I was I didn't get into SBS quite yet. UM.
I kind of got introduced to them in two thousand
and eighteen UM from my friend Andre and Uh. I
remember seeing them and I'm like, oh, these are actually
kind of cool. Should I buy them? And I didn't
(14:10):
end up getting them, and I totally regret it now.
But UM, I think they're actually really sick. UM. At
the time, I guess they were sitting on the clearance
right nobody wanted them. But it's crazy crazy um. And
let's read the significance. It's not often a high end
brand like com To garson Um collaborates on a dunk
let alone swaps out the upper for clear material, which
(14:32):
is why this Dunkhi is so significant. Fire the new
um C d G dunks that just came out, like
the women's ones, fire I have, I have the all overprint.
I want to get like the regular ones too, super
fire again kind of like translucent and like super thin.
I'm a big fan. So next show on the list
is the Nike s B Dunklow colors by Molder, and
(14:53):
the significance is Richard Mulder's colors by Dunklow was a
nod to his Los Angeleino roots and took on a
simple and white and blue colorway. So these came out
in two thousand and two. I've seen these before. UM,
I definitely don't have a pair of these. They're cool.
Um last sale was around like five fifty dollars, so
you know, I like them. I think they're cool, like
(15:14):
super plain and simple. But I don't think I'd spent
five dollars on a shoe that's like this simple, you
know what I mean. Um, I definitely respect the um
background story. So the next shoe, it's unlike, he has
to be Dunkhi Heaven's Gate? Who is this really based off? Of?
Like that cult? This pair's color scheme is inspired by
the Heaven's Gate cult and the black and purple cloths
(15:35):
found at the site of their mass suicide. This was
found to be in bad taste by the higher upset Nike,
and the release was scrapped, making any remaining bears very rare. Wow, dude,
that is crazy. I didn't even know these existed. Dude,
that is so crazy. I bet these are like impossible
to find. But dude, that's crazy, Like, oh my, okay,
(15:57):
that makes so much more sense now. I mean, for
those of you who don't know it was, Heaven's Gate
was basically a cult I think in San Diego, and
this crazy dude UM like their cult leader convinced. I
think it was like forty people to kill themselves or
thirty people something like that at the same time. And
they all wore black cortez is and they had purple
blankets on like when they killed themselves. Super weird, very eerie,
(16:21):
very creepy. Definitely freaks me out. But this shoe is crazy.
I'm surprised I haven't seen Little Ouzie wearing these, or
maybe he has, I don't know, Like I thought that
a Little Ouzy would be all over these, especially since
that um the original album cover for Eternal Take was
actually based off of Heaven's Gate and then he actually
actually got sued for that by Heaven's Gate. And I
can't believe Heaven's Gate still has representatives Like that blows
(16:42):
my mind. But that's crazy. I didn't even know the
shoe existed, so um, I can't even find a price
on it, Like they're only listed on Goating but there's
like no pairs used or or brand new. Crazy. So
the next two was the n QSP Dunklo ray Gun.
I actually do have a pair of these, and I have,
um the two kind of retro versions that they did,
(17:04):
and um, I have the o G. I wore mine
quite a bit actually, and they haven't fallen apart yet,
so thinker's across that they don't. But um, so the
release date was in February. Those are the very first
shoe to feature the NIKESB logo on the tongue. The
Yen and Yang color ways were created as a nod
to the fictional A b A basketball team named the
Roswell ray Guns, which was the protagonist of a Nike
(17:27):
marketing campaign. So, um, there is a black and a
white version. I have the black version. I don't have
the white version. I have the white version, and like
the Tai Dai version that came out. I love this show.
I think it's so fire right now they have like
the black one listed, I mean they have a picture
of the black one. Um, I think the black one
is cooler than the white one personally. So the black
ones like the home and then the white ones the
(17:47):
away colors technically, but um super iconic super six shoe.
The logo that's on the heel is so dope. This
is super super dope. Um, you guys should definitely check
that out. So the next one on the say is
the Nike s B Dunklow MEDICALM and uh so this
is the the Nike SB Dunklow Meticom one. So, um,
(18:09):
this came out and like two thousand and four. And
for those of you who don't know what the medic
Common is, Meticom is the company that makes bare bricks.
So the collaboration between MEDICALM and NIKESB was only offered
to register to METICALM members and was the first dunks
B to feature a double layered swoosh. So if you
guys are following along, um, it's like a blue swage
and underneath there's like a orange orange kind of um
(18:32):
background to it. So I guess that's what it meant
by the double layered swoosh. I think it's pretty sick.
I think it's a six shoe. Um. I don't know
how much they're going for. These are probably expensive, let's
be real here, UM, so UM not that bad. I
mean the highest bid is a thousand, so I thought
there would be more Honestly, they're pretty cool, but again again,
not really a shoe that I've seen myself spending that
much money on. The next one is the Nike s
(18:54):
B Dunklow Day of the Dead. Oh Um, it's up.
It's a cool shoe. I like the concept. I think
the colors are a little bit crazy. It would be
very hard to match this um with an outfit, but
I mean, I don't know. Super dope shoe came out
in November two six. This Dunklow was a second to
draw from Mexican culture's inspiration, and it was designed by
(19:16):
Christian Selina's Medina So came out in two six. Some
people like, actually consider this there grail Um, I'm pretty
sure they go for a grip too. Let's see. Oh wow, yeah,
last hill was four hundred highs bid is Jesus Christ.
I definitely not a pair of shoes that I've seen
myself spending that much money on, for sure. But I
(19:38):
can respect the show. I respect it. I I respect
my Mexican um bust of fam out there. Dia deliss
that I tried to say it as minimally white as possible,
So I tried. I'm a gring go but Anyway, Um,
next shoe, Um is that Nike as we Dunk three
(19:58):
Bears pack. So before I even read the significance of this, okay,
I'm gonna read it first. This pack featured a high, low,
and mid that took conspiration from a fairy tale most
of us all know Goldilocks in the Three Bears, And
actually for each of these shoes there was a bear break.
So super super dope. And right here we have pictured
the baby Bear. One thing that I thought it was
(20:20):
really sick on these shoes was that it actually had
fur on it, so it looked like a bear. I
wanted the Baby Bears for a while. I really actually
like those, but they're going for too much money now. Honestly,
I have the highs. I have the Papa Bears, which
I like more honestly than the Baby Bears. But again,
super clean dope shoe came out in two thousand six. Um,
they came out and like the three Bear pack, so
it was like the Baby Bears were the lows, the
(20:42):
Mama Bears were the mids, and the Papa Bears were
the highs. Papa Bears are by far my favorite. Then
I like the Baby Bears. The myds and gave the
Momma bears I'm not crazy about honestly. So the next
one is the Stash times Nike dunk Fire super Fire shoe,
extremely difficult to get um and um. I think there
was only I can't remember how many pairs of these dropped.
(21:03):
It was either like thirty or a hundred or something
very very limited. But let's read the significance. Josh Franklin
and K Stash was one of the most prominent graffiti
artists in two thousand three, oh sorry period. In two
thousand three, he exhibited his work at the now defunct
Parisian concept store Collette, titled Tools of the Trade product Division.
(21:24):
He teamed up with Nike to launch fifty pairs. Okay,
so it's fifty pairs, So I was close. I was
stunning Dunklow's featuring pain drip on the lateral panels and
a signature tag on the heel fire shoe extremely difficult
to get. Um. I actually, I don't think I've ever
seen a pair of these cell on like stock eggs. Yeah,
I don't know. They're not even on stock X or goat,
so I know these go for mad mad bread. I
(21:46):
don't know. How much. But I mean they're super super
are There's only fifty pairs of these, and Stash is
a sick artist, like it's so dope and so the
concept of the shoe is sick. So the next one
is the Nike as by Dunklow London. So now this
is a heavy hitter right here. Um, such a dope shoe.
The whole top is like Swede in different like shades
of gray, and then it has like the the um.
(22:09):
I think it's the river themes on the back. I
think I think that's what it is. Came out in
January two. This pair was supposed to be released at
London's White Dunk Evolution of an Icon event that though
that was canceled and the pairs were later sold through
foot Patrol. An outline of the River Thames is embroidered
on the heel. Um see how marcies go for Now,
(22:32):
this is a heavy hitter. I know that for a fact. Um.
So the highest bid is nine thousand, five hundred and
the lowest ask is fifty thousand dollars. I mean, realistically,
I think these go over like fifteen to twenty. But crazy,
super super clean looking shoe. I would buy these even
if they weren't that like, I would buy these if
they were just like a g R because I think
(22:53):
they look so clean. I love like the swede Um
gray palette. I don't I don't know the exact word
for it, but I think they look sick. Number thirty
two the s B T G Times Nike HASP dunk Low. Now.
I've seen these a bunch of times. I never pulled
the trigger on them. I really don't like them, dude,
I really don't. But they came out in August two
(23:14):
thousand and six. The bear was designed by Singapore based
artist Mark Sabotage on who's who rose to fame in
the sneaker customization world. So that's pretty cool that he
actually got his own shoe after um selling customs or
customizing peoples shoes or whatever. That's pretty cool. I didn't
even know the backstory behind them. UM, and they had
this like really weird thing covering the tongue that I
(23:35):
really don't like. But UM, the highest bit of six
fifty lest sales five hundred, so you know, it's like
pretty decently priced. Um, it's kind of expensive. I would
never pay that much for that. True. I really don't
like it that much, to be honest, but anyway, Next
is number thirty one, Nike Dunk Low Pro B low
um my brother will be alow. If you guys watch
(23:58):
a bar at then it's funny. But Nike Dunk Pro
below alpha numeric lighting and alpha numeric three M. I've
actually never seen this before, to be completely honest, but
it came out January two and one. Both pairs were
designed by Alicia Owerca More and only given to friends
and family as well as team members of Nike KSB,
(24:19):
probably explaining why I've never seen them. They're they're kind
of just like an all gray um upper and like
a white soul with like this yellow Nike branding on
the back, and it's like yellow. I honestly don't even
know what that is. I can't. I can't decipher that.
But they're pretty cool. Um not crazy about him. There's
no links to the shoe, so I'm assuming it's like
(24:40):
probably impossible to get these, especially since they were friends
and family. And since they were friends and family, I'm
sure that they go for a lot of money. So
the next year we have on the list is Nike
s B Dunk Hi m F Doom. Now I think
that these are flames. And these are obviously um like
based off of or designed after M F. Doom the rapper.
So they came on July two, dozen and seven, and
(25:02):
the significance is claimed underground rapper M F. Dum was
tapped to design a high top dunk, which has since
become one of the most coveted eyes of all time.
So he actually designed them himself. I think they're actually
super fire. Um has like the red laces, like gray
and black kind of upper and then the bottom is
like translucent and I'm pretty sure it's like a picture
(25:22):
of him or something, and at the ostrich on the front,
I think these are these are flames, and this says
doom Um on the side. These actually went up a
lot in price. I remember when these used to go
for like three bucks and now good luck getting them
for like under a thousand, and I really think that
these kind of will go up more. Honestly, super flame shoe.
So number twenty nine is a Nike sp dunklow Michael
(25:44):
Law Now, I've only seen these twice. I've seen them
once in Singer Con Shanghai and once at Project Blitz
and artist Michael Allows and Nike collaborations are usually closer
to a work of art than something you put on
your feet. And there's a wood grain Dunklow based off
of his like uh, and this wood green Dunklobe based
off of his comic strip Gardner is no different. So
(26:06):
the whole thing looks like it's made of wood. Like
the details on the shoe are flames. I love this
shoe and it's extremely extremely hard to get. I'm pretty sure.
Um yeah, so there's no sales and the highest bid ist,
but I think they go for more than that. Honestly,
Let's see if there's any sales. So the last sale
was six thousand, but that was in UM two. But yeah, like,
(26:29):
crazy looking shoe, crazy looking show. I think it's so fire. Um.
Next we have the Huff Times Nike Yes by dunk
Hi Tied Eye, another crazy fire shoe that I totally
slept on and I'm mad at myself. I should have
bought these way back then, way back when. Now you
can't even buy a new pair and use they go
for nine so crazy. So they came in November two
(26:52):
four Huff, which is like a streetwear brand, Huff collaborative
dunk Hi channel San Francisco's Free Spirit with the tied
type print done up in the SF Giants orange and
black color scheme fire shoe, and I think the leather
on these are so cool because I can't tell if
that's how it was supposed to come, or if it's
like cracking, or if it's supposed to be based off
like an animal or something. But again, super super dope shoe.
(27:16):
So the next shoe we got is a Nike sp
dunk De La Soul and the significance is both the
Highs and the Lows inspiration from De La Soul's debut album,
Trippy Neo Psychedelic artwork. Um I put a comma in
the rocks hot. Yeah, so it's based off of their
album artwork. I actually like the lows more personally. I
(27:36):
think the highs are cool, but I would rock the
lows like. The lows are just more of my vibe.
They go for about like a thousand dollars, so you
know they're getting there. The highs are. I don't know
how much the lows are, but I think those are
a bit cheaper. I'm not sure. Don't mark my words
on that one. But these ones came out in two
thousand and five, So now number twenty six concepts times
Nike hasp dunk low Lobster. Now, um, I think it's
(27:58):
just talking about all the lobsters as a whole. So
what we have picture tears. The yellow lobster, which is
the Friends and Family, goes for like fifteen to thirty dollars,
and I'm pretty sure there's only like forty something pairs
of them, or sixty pairs something very very small. There
were only Friends and Family, the yellow ones. I actually
have the reds, the blues, the greens, and the purples.
I love them. I think they're so far I wish
(28:19):
I could complete my set and get the yellows. But
I mean, your boy doesn't want to spend fifteen grand
on a pair of shoes right now, or I mean, honestly,
in my size, probably more, But um, let's read the
significance it's concepts. Ongoing partnership with Nike has spawned a
number of lobster inspired colorways, some more rare than others,
but all of equal significance when considering the hype and
popularity of Nike dunks. Pretty crazy, pretty fire, and actually
(28:43):
a friend of mine helped design these, or I think
he designed them himself or he came up with the concept.
Um shout out robot out Rob Hepler, um Fire shoe
super Fire. I wish I could get the yellow ones
if somebody wants to buy them for me for Christmas.
UM my addresses and I'm just kidding no please don't.
Those are way much or um but yeah, crazy, last
sale on these is fifteen in my size. So next
(29:06):
year we have is the Supreme Times. Nike has b
dunk High, which like it's like the faux gator um
skin with the stars and we're here. They have the
red one pictured, but there is a blue and an
orange color way as well. So these came out two
dozen three, arriving in three color ways. This dunk Hi
was originally intended to have a Nike logo repeat pattern,
(29:27):
though that was ditched in favor of stars when the
sneaker was eventually released. Yeah, I wonder why they did
that because it used to be like Nike like gold
Nikes instead of the stars. I think the gold Nankes
looked pretty sick, but I mean, yeah, the stars actually
look better. But there's like a three samples when in
each colorway of with of this shoe with like the Nikes,
(29:47):
and I'm like, nobody even knows who those are and
God knows how much they go for. But these these
guys go for a grip to Like it's impossible to
find a pair of these above a size I could tend.
I'm a size eleven unfortunately, so it doesn't really make
my life any easier. But but yeah, these go for
anywhere between three and five thousand dollars. Crazy, crazy crazy.
The next shoe is a Nike sp Dunkload Tokyo, so
(30:09):
super clean color way. I've actually never seen like a
spotless version of these shoes because I feel like it's
so easy to get them dirty because they're like a
white canvas um. But anyway, so they came on two four.
This dunk, like the London version, was part of the
White Dunk City series and strictly limited to two pairs
raffled off via lottery. This pair featured no heel or
tongue logos, making a truly blank canvas. Okay, so that
(30:31):
makes sense. Um, these go for a grip to this.
This is a heavy hitter right here. So oh wait, no,
this is the wrong link. I just clicked. I just
clicked the link, and it took me to the two
thousand and five version of these shoes, or the two
version of these shoes, but the two thousand five version,
the original version. UM, the cheapest you're going to get
(30:52):
them for is like ten thousand maybe. Um Fire shoe
last sale was eight thousand dollars actually, so I mean yeah,
I mean eight five to ten thousand. It's probably the
cheapest you're gonna get it. I didn't even know they
had like a Red Show version of this shoe. The
Red Show goes for like five bucks, and it's it's white,
like the other one was like an off white, and
(31:12):
the resho has some like branding and stuff, so it's
not as cool. Next shoe is the ny As We
Dunkleo Medicom too. So these are the second ones that
came out. They were like a kind of like a
denim um upper, like a black denim and gray. They
came out in two thousand and four. This pair, like
his predecessor, was offered only through Medicalm's website and opted
(31:33):
for an all denom upper, calling back to Reese Forbes
and Denham Dunk. Also one of my favorite shoes, refforms
um Denim Dunk super Fire. They go for way too
much money. I can't afford them. Sucks, I know, so
um these guys go for around five to seven thousand.
I think they're there. I think these are cooler than
(31:53):
the um the ones. I like these. I like these
a little bit more. The next shoe we have on
the list is the Nike Dunk Hayes High and Low. Now,
I've been trying to find a pair of these for
the longest time, and every single time a pair comes
up in my side, somebody else buys them before me,
and they also go for a way too much money.
But anyway, they came out in two thousand three, and
when I see born, graffiti artist Eric Hayes added his
(32:14):
signature style to a Dunk High and Dunk Low, both
of which were one of the earliest instances of an
artist collaborating on a pair of sneakers. Pretty crazy, Actually,
I like the lows a lot more. I think the
highs are a bit cheaper, but um like, these go
over anywhere between twelve and like three thousand dollars, and
I don't know how are the lows. The lows are
around that much too. Honestly, I like the Lows more.
(32:37):
I'm more of a low guy than a high guy.
The next she was one of my favorite sps, if
not my favorite. The Nike has to be dunk Low
Jedi now not only is green my favorite color, but
also Star Wars is like my favorite franchise, my favorite movies,
like of all time, like since I was a kid,
and um it came out and made two thousand and four.
I have a pair. I wear them all the time.
They haven't fallen apart on me, So shout out to
(32:58):
my Jedies. They really have the force. They really do
be having the force though, and the significance behind the
shoe is officially dubbed baroque um BAROQUEI brown. I don't know.
The Dunklow is said to be inspired by Master Yoda's
garb as well as Jedi Lightsabers super Fire. They're not
called no baroque brown, they are called the Jedis, thank
(33:19):
you very much. I don't know how much they go for.
I actually got my pair for around five hundred. Geez,
oh my gosh, like last by now is three thousand.
That's crazy. I didn't know that those went for that much, honestly,
either way, I'm wearing my shoe until the day I die.
I love those, so coming up at number twenty, so
(33:40):
we're getting, you know, towards the top of the list here,
and I'm genuinely surprised to see these at number twenty.
But the Stucie Times Nike SP Dunklow Cherry. This is
a shoe I do have. Um. I've talked about this
a few times. I bought mine anything for like four
hundred or five hundred dollars or something like that, and
now they go for like two thousand, almost three thousand dollars.
Shout out to Travis are making these so expensive. Um,
(34:03):
the last sale was two thousand on a pair of
these guys. So pretty crazy if you ask me. And
the significance is Dousi team manager Robbie Jeffers designed this
Dunklow to look like Neapolitan ice cream. The tongue even
featured a literal cherry on top, and also the insul
is a waffle cone, which they did not add, which
is so far I love the shoe. Um. Next sneaker
(34:24):
on the list is a NIKESB Dunklow for Toura. Again
super Fire shoe for Toura is an amazing artist. I
love a lot of his work, and um, I do
own one of his shoes, not this one, but um
I own the the Uncle Dunk Highs, which actually like
a lot more than the shoe personally. But so these
came in came out in two dozen and three. Leonard
(34:45):
Hilton mcgur a k A Mick Ker Mick Gurr Leonard Hilton,
Mick ger a k A for Toura took inspiration from
the NYC Subway steel envis for one of his earliest
Nike SP collaborations. Well, I had no idea that this
was based off of the New York City Subway. Again,
(35:08):
really cool concept. It's like blue tones with a white
swush super super fire shoe. Don't get me wrong, But
I don't know. I'm not I don't know if it's
gonna be on my Like I need this list, you
know what I mean. Number eighteen is a Nike SP
Hemp pack. So um. The original one came out in
April two four. This was the first four twenty inspired
(35:28):
pack and introduced a brand new material to the Nike's
SB line Hemp Um. I think these go for quite
a bit of money. Actually, there's a few different versions
of these. I think that there's a green one, there's
a there's like an orange one, and there's like a
red one. Um again, dope shoe. Not really for me, um,
(35:49):
but yeah, I like the green one. If I were
to get one, I get the green one, and green
is my favorite color. So the next UM shoe on
the list is the Nike sp Dunklow Chocolate and Zoo
York so came on June two and two East Coast,
me Sweat West Coast and this Too sneaker pack designed
by New York's New York and LA based Chocolate Skateboards.
(36:10):
The cross on the heel of the chocolate pair was
a nod to team writer Keenan Milton, who tragically passed
away in two thousand and one. Now, I actually didn't
know that the Zoo York and the chocolates were um
A pack. I had no idea on the chocolates go
for around like a thousand, like the last a thousand,
five hundred, but I'm pretty sure they go for more
now and the Zoo York's I don't even know how
(36:32):
much money those go for, but I mean the last
sale was for a thousand dollars two years ago, so
I'm assuming that those go for crazy money now. Um,
but yeah, super rare, very difficult shoe to find. The
only person I've ever seen where them is my boy Dre,
So that's crazy. I didn't I didn't know that they
were a pack. I didn't know that they were packed.
I'm a bigger fan of the chocolates though than I
am of the New York's. I like the New York too,
(36:53):
but I like the chocolates more so. Next is the
Nike Dunk pro B Biotech. The original releaseate is in
two thousand and one, and oh what what what? What? What? What?
This says released a two thousand one, and then it
has originally released two thousand two. I see, I thought
it was two thousand two also, but I don't know.
They messed up here. Originally released two dozen two, the
Biotech featured a vibrant clash of colors, making it instantly recognizable.
(37:15):
Coupled with the premium Swede finish, the Biotech Dunk Prob
has become a defining icon that has been reissued multiple times.
So I have the most recent version of the shoe.
I haven't been able to find a size eleven in
the original like it's impossible to find, and um, I
love this shoe. I think it's fire and the oh yeah,
this is this is the original let's see how much. Yeah,
(37:36):
they don't even have one in my size. It's crazy,
but the last ding I want them was a thousand
dollars crazy, but I'll stick to mine. I like mine,
and I think the old ones they just kind of
look cooler because they're a little bit faded. But I'm
sure if I left my shoes outside for a couple
of days, they probably look like that. I wear mine
all the time. By the way, I love my biotechs.
Number fifteen is a Nike SB Dunk high Skunk and uh.
They came out April two. Another four twenty color way.
(37:59):
The Skunk Dunk is probably the most iconic four twenty
themed Nike dunk thanks to its obvious weeds inspiration in
hairy green suede. A reverse Skunk was dropped in April,
so it came out recently, and the reverse gun goes
for three four grand, especially with a special box. It's
pretty fire. I personally like the original one more because
(38:19):
there's more green, but I mean it's like a two
thousand dollar shoe. Super super fire shoe, probably the only
four twenties shoe that I would like, genuinely want. So
remember fourteen is Nike SP Dunk High Uncle. So these
are the shoes I mentioned earlier. I do have a
pair of these. I used to have two pairs of these.
One of them was worn. I bought it worn uh
in a size twelve. It didn't fit me though, it
(38:40):
was like way too big, so I decided to sell
them and buy a size eleven that I can actually
wear and Uh. It came out in September two four
And this is another pair designed by longtime Nike SP
collaborator for Toura, this time in partnership with musical ensemble Uncle.
The high end. The High ended up releasing to the public,
while there's also an un released low version. Now I've
(39:01):
seen the low version only in the vault at Project Blitz.
It's fire. I like the low version more because it's green.
That's like an olive green and like blue super sick um.
The highs are cool. Like I said, I like these
more than his other clab But yeah, this sho is fire.
Bro Let's be let's be real here. This is a
fire show. I'm not even gonna lie, Um, I think
(39:21):
I got mine mine for around, like I was a
little bit late to the train, but damn damn less
the thirty thousand, she's geez Louise. That's crazy, okay. So.
Number thirteen Nike SV Dunk Low colors by super or
Supper March two, the second ever Nike as We Dunk,
(39:43):
is a homage to New York City and was designed
by Danny super super re re Rat Superio re re Rat.
I don't know how to pronounce that. The white, orange
and blue colorway is an obvious nod to the two
of New York sports teams. I've I've seen these shoes before,
but every single pair I've seen, like the orange paint
(40:05):
is like coming off. So, I mean, it's pretty crazy
to find a pair of these pretty fire shoe. Number
twelve one of my favorites that I'm actually really pissed
that I didn't buy for a thousand dollars when I
had the chance. It's the Nike s B Dunklow Heineken
so one of the most iconic Nike dunks. This pair
takes obvious inspiration from one of the most popular beers
(40:26):
in the world. Due to legal issues. This pair was
never actually released and it's officially called the Classic Green UM.
But now, dude, it's not the Classic Green, it's the
Um Heineken and last sale was forty dred. I want
to shoot myself for not getting these shoes. But regardless,
super flame shoe UM green color way with like the
red star on the back. I wish I got these
(40:46):
when I had the chance. But you know these new
as you lose. The next Dunk is number eleven. The
Nike is b dunklow what the dunck? So now the
significance bind the shoes. Some of the most iconic color
ways were included in this mashup pair, making this a
real looker in addition to a collector's item. So these
came out two thousan seven and basically each like the
left and the right shoe look completely different. They have
(41:08):
all the different UM designs on them from like the
coolest pair. So so just looking right now, I mean
I see the Shanghais, I see the pigeons, I see
the bucks, I see the huffs, I see the lucky
number seven's, the bisons, the tweeds. Um, I mean this
is just one of the one side and the Hunters
to which with the sock liner super on the laces.
(41:30):
It looks like it's the Jedi's so super fire shoe.
Love it super sick. But I mean these go for
so much money. These are the second ten thousand dollar shoe.
Now it's pretty crazy. Yeah, less Shales seven thousand five,
but I mean lowis but unless see what that was.
Oh that's actually a pretty recent surprisingly But yeah, I mean,
and now I want to get him. It's is there crazy?
(41:54):
So the next Dunk is so now we're in the
top ten. So the next one is the Nike Dunk
pro Be Smurf and Putty. I've actually never seen this
show released before Nikes B was officially established. In two
thousand two, the Dunk silhouette was turned into a skateboarding
shoe as a part of the of the pro B line.
The Smurf and Putty where Nike skateboarding or Nike skateboarding
(42:17):
before Nikes B. That's actually pretty sick. It looks like
an all blue like suede upper. Guys. By the way,
I'm learning a lot as we're doing this, So you
guys are taking the ride with me. Well, that's actually
the first time I'm going through this list. I wanted
to go through it together so you guys can like
here my genuine reactions. But well you learn a lot
as you go along, and uh, wow, that's crazy. I
(42:39):
don't know super fire shoe. I've actually never seen it
and um, looks like there's not even a link to
buy it anywhere, So I'm sure these are pretty hard
to get. The next shoe coming at number nine is
the Nikes b dunklow Reese Forbes denim, the shoe I
was talking about a little bit earlier, um, and the
significance is for Reese Forbes second dunk clap. He tapped
artist and fellow skater Natas Kalpas to create this freight
(43:01):
denim pair that has risen ticonic status. So these came
out in two thou two and I'm pretty sure they
go for like five to ten grand now. Um, yeah,
last sales six thousand, but I mean they go for
more now. And love love the denim, Love like the
wash on the denim, like the freight dum so sick,
the white mid soule with the red outtil super fire.
Love this shoe. Wish I could afford it. So the
(43:23):
next shoe is the Nike Dunk high Wu Tang number
eight and the significance is Back in the late nineties
and Nike rereleased its original Beatrue Dunk collection with a
special reworked Golden Rod color way for the University of Iowa,
which was turned into the famed Wu Tang Dunks. Only
thirty six pairs are believed to have been produced, and
these came out. I've only seen three pairs before UM.
(43:46):
One pair in the Project Blitz warehouse, which is supposedly
method Man's pair their Scise twelve, and he said he
can't find his, so it's supposedly his. I've seen Travis
by one pair from Blitz, and then I've one of
my their friends. UM Ryan has a pair of these.
UM crazy like super rare shoe. I can't believe I've
seen three pairs and there's only thirty six pairs produced.
(44:09):
I've been trying to find a pair of golden Rods
for a while. UM. They basically looked the same except
they don't have the wood Tang logo, and I think
it's a fire shoe up and I've been looking. I've
been looking. If you have a pair of dam Me
so number seven on the list is a nikesp Dunklow
Freddy Krueger. Now, this is a shoe that everybody is
obsessed with. Everybody loves the shoe. Um, this blood splattered
Freddy Krueger inspired pair was created to celebrate a Nightmare
(44:31):
on Elm Streets villain, but product had to be holded
due to legal issues. Only a few pairs made it
out to the public, making this a real rarity. So
now a lot of them have oil stains on them
because they were actually meant to be destroyed. They were
meant to be burned, and um, it's pretty insane that,
um that that the shoe was created but never released.
And I mean these shoes go for like twenty grand.
(44:54):
Now I remember like a few years ago, they're going
for like two three thousand. Uh Jesus, last sales fIF
crazy crazy super fire shoe. I've um, I don't own
a pair of these. I wish I did. Um, but um,
my friend Dre actually let me put his on one time,
(45:15):
and I don't understand that his His was like a
ten and a half, but it felt like a nine.
They fit so tight. So I was actually looking for
a pair to buy for myself. When they were going
for around like two thousand and Um, basically, like anything
above a size ten and a half in the shoe
is like impossible to find. And since they fit so tight,
I'm a size eleven, I'd need a size twelve, which
is like impossible. So um, yeah, it's bummer and probably
(45:38):
a shoe that I on their own because of that reason. Honestly,
I mean I was thinking about getting another shoe just
to display, but like, dude, I want to wear my shoes,
you know what I mean. Um, The next shoe is
a Diamond Supply Coke Times, Nike, kesb Low, Tiffany. This
is shoe I do have. Actually, Um, they're released in
two thousand five. This is one of the first dunks
to go viral and generate a visceral level of hype
(46:00):
unseen before. The colors were taken from Tiffany and Comb,
and the sneaker was designed by Diamond Supply co founder
Nick turch Ak. Nick Diamond Shout out Nick. He's actually
a friend of mine. It's crazy that I can say
that now because I grew up wearing diamond when I
was a kid. But yeah, these shoes are going for
like three thousand dollar dollars. Now crazy, I got my
pair for I think like eight hundreds or thousands something
(46:22):
like that. Um, super fire shoe. Actually really really like
this show. Um, next shoe is the Ftura Times Snikey
sp dunk High FLOM. So now this is like for
Toura's sickest show, like the FLOM. I think it's for
Love or Money or for Love of Money. I can't remember,
um which one. I think it's for love or money
(46:45):
And um, it has just like really cool like fl
branding and like it has all these different currencies all
over it. And there there were friends and family shoe
and I'm pretty sure there's only twenty four pairs or
twenty something like that. But anyway, let's read. Came out
of March twos and four, designed by Fortura. This for
Love or Money dunk High features a pattern created from
different denominations of printed money and was produced in a
(47:06):
friends and Family run of only twenty four. Now this
is easily fIF shoe. Um, I've seen itself for that much,
which is absolutely mind boggling. And um, the last sale
was ten thousand, but that was in two thousand and seventeen.
Like dude, the issues like Um, I think Blitz sold
a pair for fifty grand, which is insane. Insane. So
(47:29):
we're getting to the top three. So let's see the
honorable mention number four. The staple times Nike hasb Dunk
Low Pigeon. Everybody knows the shoe. If you're a sneaker head,
you don't know the shoe, you need to read up on.
The shoe came out in March two five. This was
the final edition of the City series, and it's the
Dunk that probably kick started sneaker culture as we know
it today. Good enough for spot four, which may prove
(47:52):
to be controversial, which is funny because a lot of
people would think this is like one or two, um,
but yeah, crazy. So this was this is like for
New York City. But they're called the Pigeon Dunks because
they have like the iconic pigeon because there's pigeons all
over the place in New York if you haven't been.
I think this shoe goes for like twenty grand, maybe
maybe more. I don't know. Lass sales fifteen thousand UM
(48:14):
in two thousand nineteen. So now if you want to
buy their like twenty three grand, crazy super iconic shoe, like, um,
I think there was like a fight that I think
there's a huge fight that came out because of this release. Um,
this is kind of the shoe that really kick started it.
A lot of people think it's this shoe or the
Nike Paris s B, So it's kind of between those
(48:35):
two right now. But crazy shoe, crazy shoe. So next
shoe number three. Wow, I'm actually surprised to see this
at number three. Supreme times and Nike has b dunk
low white cement and black cement. It came out in
two thou too, limited to five hundred pairs each and
featuring the air Jordan three is iconic elephant print. We
don't really need to say much more about Supremes first
(48:56):
ever sp dunks obviously super fire shoe, extremely flames. I
don't have the black or the white pair. I have
the red pair that came out a little bit later.
I think it was like two thousand twelve or something
like that, and I can't I can't afford these ones.
These are so expensive now it's pretty insane. Yeah, Like
if you want to buy a pair of these, its
like eight grand, insane, dude. Um, it's crazy. This is
(49:19):
like the first Nike sp that Supreme, which you know,
for most people who don't know Supreme as a skate brand,
so they got their own skate shoe. A lot of
people just think that Supremes just like some streetwear. It
is streetwear, but it is technically a skate brand. It
is it is a skate brand. I love the inspiration
behind the Jordan threes, which is cool because skate culture
(49:39):
and basketball and street culture like kind of all mixed together,
and this was like a perfect culmination of that, which
I think is really sick. Okay, So number two, we
got the Nike s B Dunklow Paris. So dude, crazy crazy.
This shoe goes for like fifty two hundred thousand dollars.
Now that's insane to say about a shoe, honestly. But
(50:02):
they came out in August two thousand three. This pair
was also part of the White Dunk City series and
was designed in collaboration with the French painter painter Bernard
Buffett Buffet. The release of the exhibition was canceled and
pairs were sold through select nis B accounts and highly
limited numbers. Now, like I said, um, I like a
(50:22):
lot of people think that this shoe is what kind
of kick started sneaker culture because the shop did come
out before the Pigeons, and um, dude, they didn't start
singer culture. They started like the craze behind reselling and shoes,
Like I think that this was like at the time
they were going for like eight hundreds to thousand dollars
and now they go for like fifty to a hundred
(50:42):
thousand dollars, which is actually insane that and some people have,
like my friend Dre has I think like eight pairs
of these, which is I just I can't. It doesn't
it's crazy to say the least. But um, super fire
show love the shoe, and uh um yeah I can.
(51:05):
I can't believe I've actually been able to hold a
pair of these. I would probably never own a pair
just because they sell for so much money now. But insane, insane, dude, insane.
And number one, can I get a drum roll please?
But that was terrible? Drum roll um? And number one,
we have the Nike Dunk B T T Y S
Pack the Night five O G wow. So and these
(51:31):
came many would have put Jeff Staples Pigeon Dunks at
the top ranking, but can you really ignore the O
B T T Y S pack that kicks started the
whole dunk mania. They do have a point, they do
have a point that's pretty insane. So this was like
the first dunk and uh, I guess I don't even
know how really these go for I've actually never seen
(51:52):
a pair of these in person, which is insane. UM,
But I don't know if this isn't this can't be
the now, this is not the right pair. I was
gonna say that over three d dollars, like what, Um,
that's insane that now, I like, now you can really see, um.
The inspiration behind the Jordan one and the Jordan one
I think was probably a mix of this shoe and
(52:13):
the um what was it? The um they're called like
the I think they're called the flights the air what
was that not? Let me look it up. Airships, that's
what they're called. So I think that the Jordan was
one was inspired mainly by the airships, but the dunk
(52:34):
had to have some sort of UM like influence on
that shoe as well. So that's pretty crazy that this
is the number one. I probably like would have put
like the like a couple of other pairs the in
here as well. Um, I understand why they put this
at number one, but because it kind of started it all.
(52:55):
But I mean a lot of people don't know what
the shoe even exists, so but you can definitely see
how different looks like the it's a lot higher, like
it's a high top, and it's a lot higher than
a normal like um um as as be or dunk.
And by the way, guys, dunks and s b s
aren't necessarily the same thing. So I think every s
B is a dunk, but not every dunk is an SB,
(53:16):
so think about it that way. And as you can see,
as bees, we're officially kind of introduced in two thousand
two and these were from so seventeen years prior. But
that's pretty crazy. Like I actually learned a lot on this,
um I hope you did too. And um, I'm gonna
see you guys next week. I'm gonna I'm gonna find
(53:38):
