Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, we're going, We're going, We're going. We had to
stop midweek to get this in because there's just too
much going on right now. We cannot wait until Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Tuesday, really and and Tuesday is gonna be way too late.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
So on the Gulf of the Messiness aka Diane Trossi
on her birthday, we got a bunch of bullshit.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
I'm a hot girl. I get anything I want.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
This is my world.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I make big moves in my big up. Since I
take them, I was going, I've been a big deal.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
So the emergency podcast is needed. Welcome to let her
shoot all.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
The drama that you need to get you through the weekend.
We're doing this on a Friday afternoon. Why because there's
just too much tea to talk about. Sarah Tchovnik, two
time Emmy winner, Tristan Creek, and Allie laying out crashed out,
not crashing out like these girls did tell you that,
more like more like night night sleep mask for Alie.
Today we're gonna talk about all the drama that went

(01:08):
on around the WNBA. We got Djna Carrington, Sattoo sably,
what went on there, what went on between the links
and the storm when the Storm gave the Links their
very first loss of the season in a Commissioner's Cup
in Seattle.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
I might add it is just hilarious. The stud buds.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Aka Tish Heidaman, Heataman and Courtney Williams, they talked about
the drama as well, and then like Kalia Copper and
Angel Rees sort of kind of had a little like
back and forth, which I think is kind of just
a fun little exchange but looked like beef upon first glance.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
So Sarah, we had to I'm I'm calling this, by
the way, this is our first mini episode and I'm
pretty pretty stoked for it. I hope we do more
of these. But I'm gonna call it a tea party
because that's essentially what this is. We got a art
with what happened on Wednesday night with the Wings, the
Dallas Wings and the Phoenix Mercury and.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Aka the Goat Diana Tarassi's birthday. All of this occurred
on Diana Tarassi's birthday.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
DT, happy birthday to you, because we had a gift
and that was a showdown, So forget forget. First of all,
Page had thirty five points, which was her best showing
is in her rookie season.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
So far.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
She comes out of the locker room wearing an Asy shirt.
You know, she's she's hype. She looks like a little kid.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
She's just not They're not hiding it in. They're they're
really doing everything that they can to say, Hey guys,
we're together.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Hey we're together. Did you see Asy liked another TikTok
of like as long as Page is winning off the
court and has a z's love and As liked it
and it had that for them, and it had like.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
A very like you know, baby, I don't like the
music strong.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
I think it was an cheering songs like I Found
the Love of a woman or something.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Like that, like you like smash the like button there button.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
I love her for that. I love that Asy is
just out here on TikTok checking her own tags, you know, just.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Be a messy.

Speaker 3 (03:22):
So this is Page's first game coming back from a
concussion in a sickness.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
They played.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
They played the Phoenix Mercury in Phoenix Yep. Sattoo Sobbly
sobally sobly. I think it's sobbly actually. Satu Sobly used
to play on the Dallas Wings so for five years,
for five years and as soon as she was able
to get up out of there. She got up out

(03:49):
of there and let them know, Hey, I don't want
to be here anymore. This place fucking sucks, and honestly,
the reason why is because nobody has ever been happy
and in their life besides Errique Goombawalle, which is even
more of shame that.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
They're gonna probably let her walk.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Natasha Howard left like I think, a ten thousand word
think piece on player Stribune. I believe when she left,
Alicia Gray, Marina Maybrey, just Skyler Diggins, multiple players and
stars have been in Dallas and said thank you, but
no thank you.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
So then she gets out of there.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
She goes to Phoenix's the first game that she'll play
against the Dallas Wings and the social media team, which
I think is hilarious.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
They ask all the.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Phoenix Mercury players, what's your favorite flavor of wings?

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Wings? What's your favorite flavor of wings?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
By the way, lemon pepper?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Oh, controversial, hard.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
To get a good lemon pepper, but when you get
an excellent one, it changes your life. Otherwise, just simple buffalo.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
So they ask, No, It's okay, mine is buffalo. Thank
you for asking.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I was just in the middle of this and you
derailed me.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
So they asked sath to, Hey, what's.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Your favorite wing flavor? Mm hmm, and she said, I.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Don't really eat wings anymore.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
I don't eat wings anymore.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Okay, So that's the stage. That's the one part on
the stage. That's part that's part one of the stage.
Part two of the stage happens pregame, pre game pre
the night before.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
That was pre game two.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
That happened the night before, night before. Where on the
on the Phoenix or on the Dallas side? Excuse me?

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Where dj A Carrington, who's been who's blocked us, who's
been in the news a lot, and her girlfriend and
Melissa Smith who are playing on the same team and
for in Dallas. And I have to say, Sarah, they're
kind of messy.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
I want to get back to this whole thing in
a second, because we're gonna talk about this on our
show on Monday too, about players and teammates dating. We're
gonna get back to all this.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
However, she was out at the pool some of the hotel.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Yeah, at the hotel prior to the game the night
before with with list.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
He our warden is speaking who said that five said,
we got to go to bed.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
A Riquez coming out of the window, Hey go bed,
go to bed. Paige is coming out the window, Hey
go to bed.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
So he comments on the TikTok, hey go to bed.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
So this these two things are happening simultaneously before the game.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
No go ahead.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
So I was, well, what I was gonna tell you was,
I don't know if you saw the the other video
that so they posted like a couple videos on TikTok
and I don't know if it was they were live
or what was going on. The video kind of looked
like from alive, but what I saw was just a
clip and someone must have asked about Azy and Melyssa says,

(07:02):
oh yeah, as to the where we all the wings?
As to the wings And I gotta say, this whole
thing gives like, I don't give a shit. If this
team ever wins another game, I don't sit.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
It's like I just need somewhere to play dog. There's
only you know, a handful of teams, a two handful.
With the teams I can play.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I'm with my girlfriend in Parlane, we're at the pool,
We're in Phoenix. Who gives a fuck.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
I'm just here, so I don't get fined. That's that's
what this whole energy was. So we go to the
game now and pages thirty five, pages thirty five, which
is they still lost the game.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Mercury whooped that ass.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Mercury whooped that ass. And at one point, you see
there's like a clip that went around of Sattoo looking
over at the Dallas bench saying something, I don't you can't.
It's so far away you can't see what she's saying.
And Dejena immediately like squares up, like stands up like
she's gonna go over to Satuo. Satu walks down the court.

(08:09):
The game ends, and things really start to unravel after
the end of the we're we're like and you can
tell this whole game that like the peacemakers on both
sides of the court, like both both teams Alissa, Thomas

(08:30):
and Enrique are like and page or like trying to
keep peace and like trying to but it it gets
a little chippy when.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Feels like it's dying down until until.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
The you have the Wings and the Mercury both in
a team huddle and Sattoo with her back to the Wings,
turns around and does.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
This and the drinking motion she does.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
She takes her pink, her thumb and her pinky to
her face and does the cow a bung aside and
then says something something something drinking like what.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
People the lip readers of the internet say that it
looks like she said keep drinking, and it's very clearly
like pointed. The gesture is pointed towards dj.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Neet considering we all kind of wondered that maybe they.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Were drinking the night before by the pool, right.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Deje immediately goes to curb the rest of the team
go around to see Satoo, Page goes to grab her
and pull her back. You have like a trainer who's
like trying to get in the middle of these two huddles,
and it just starts. It just starts going back and forth.
And you have Ariquez jumping in the middle. You have

(10:00):
Alyssa pulling Dejene off of the group. You have Melissa
is like you see her goal around, she gets in
Satoo's face. So I don't know what was going on.
I don't know what was said, but it definitely wasn't
just that one comment. It was something that had been

(10:20):
building throughout the entire game. And there was obviously a
lot of bitterness on Satoo's end that she just hurled
something at Dja.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
It's crazy it honestly, I don't understand what she could
have said or why she could have said it, And
and she's not gonna have so much bitterness towards the
Wings that she would point that all in the direction
of a player who just fucking got there.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Wasn't even like she was a former teammate at all.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
This what's confusing is like she seems to have a
lot of kind of anger towards the Wings, like from
the Wings comment early on, and then from just sort
of the whole high like hijinks during the game. But
I will say this because out of cure, I saw
a tweet that said something along the lines of like
satu needs to quit taking her anger out on Dallas

(11:11):
and take her anger out on a Rique who that's
really pointed to, or like who it's really about, which
I don't know. I mean, is there do you know
of any drama between Enrique and Satuo? I don't, but
I did did check, and neither of them follow the
other on social media anymore.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I don't know anything about that, but we do know,
the one thing between Satoo and Djna that could have
been like something that started the bubbling is that they
played each other one on one and Unrivaled, so they
were both obviously players on Unrivaled. Feels like Sattoo beater

(11:50):
because Djna we was two for twelve, so I don't
think you can get to eleven band two for twelve.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Sattoo five for sixteen.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
Math Ann and she committed three fouls on on Djna,
so maybe that had something to do with it.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Maybe they're time in Miami. You know, the thing about
Miami in this.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Unrivaled, which I absolutely love, is it's just going to
create more opportunities for this stuff in the WNBA because
they're basically all in one little like training camp setting together,
all in the same place. They're training in the same
training room together, they're eating their meals together, they're not

(12:33):
leaving Miami the entire season.

Speaker 2 (12:35):
They're in the same hotel.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Like the same commune.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
They're really like it's a pressure cooker, and you know,
it's like very much one of those things where it's
like this is where you get closer and you bond,
but this is also where you can't fucking stand somebody
because you've been around them for two months in the
off season and she's now just getting on your goddamn nerves.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
And then you see her again in the regular w
NBA season.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
It's like, let me, she probably knows that DJA would
be drinking if she was watching right on. And I
don't know this to be true, but if you say
that it's not because of one video.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I don't think that this beef started last night, I mean,
or or Wednesday night. I don't think it started Wednesday night.
Whatever it was had something that was I mean, because
I know that Djna and can be labeled a little
bit as a hothead. You know, we've heard that before.

Speaker 2 (13:31):
The allegations aren't get going away.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
But but I will say to have that level of
the and then the entire because it looked as if
if you watch this video, it looked as if the
entire team is kind of like waiting for this pressure
cooker to explode, like you can see Page like has
her hand on. Well, first of all, it starts even
earlier than that. Right after the game ended. Alyssa Thomas

(13:56):
comes over to start talking to Djna about whatever.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
They were former teammates and connectic former.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Teammates, right, So they're just catching up buddies, whatever you
got to assume. And Djona immediately puts her hand out
and blocks the camera and is like like I don't
want the camera to look at me or whatever, and
Page jumps in between and says you can see her
mouth to somebody like, oh, I'm just blocking the camera.

(14:24):
So there's something already going on here at that point
that like we had seen, I've seen, and I haven't
been able to confirm again because Djna blocked us. So
I don't know. But I saw people saying that Djna's
grandfather had passed away earlier this week and was was
you know, obviously had a lot of emotions about that.
I don't know if that was. But then I also

(14:45):
saw other people saying that he had passed a while
ago and there was some sort of anniversary that was
that night, or you know, we don't know, we don't know.
You never know why anyone reacts, why they react, like
unless you know them personally.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Satoo's not the one for you to fuck with.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
When Kennedy Carter's ass comes down from the clouds comes
down from the clouds, and Kennedy Carter from Mexico and
is spicy, you know, one of the most spicy players
in the league, kind of like djon a esque and
she says for those saying, Sato not like that.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
I remember when I snatched the ball from her.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
She most definitely will come with the same energy all game.
So maybe Djna did something early on in the game
and Satu took exception and she will continue to come
for your ass.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
I did see, and I didn't watch the game. I
only have seen the clips and bits and pieces. I
did see a photo though, when I was kind of
looking into all this history that it was like both
Satu and Djona on the ground wrestling over a ball.
So I mean, there's a good chance that that's probably
why Kennedy Carter said, I try to snatch a ball

(15:59):
from Satou and she came for me the entire game after.
This seemed this seemed deeper than a ball snatch. This
seemed like to keep chirping after the game is we're done.
We're done? At that point, like go to our and
the announcers, like you can tell that they're confused because
they're like, do we talk about this? Like what's going on?

(16:20):
We don't know why isn't security getting involved?

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Is the mascot doesn't even know whether he should be
firing the shirt into the stand. He's like, is this
an appropriate time for me to use the shirt cannon?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
The dancers still dancing in the background. The videos comedy,
The videos comedy.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
I saw another video too that was like a woman
taking a video of her son dancing after the game
and in the background, like you see it all happening,
and you're just like, what the hell is happening? What
is going on here? It was a lot of drama.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
It was more drama though, ensued in the Storm versus
Minnesota Links game in Seattle. So for context, that's a
Commissioner's Cup game, and a Commissioner's Cup game is different
than a regular game. So there's five Commissioner Cup games, right,
and there's five Every team plays five intra conference Cup games.

(17:17):
Only one team per conference.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
Is going to go to the Cup final.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
And if teams tie in their record, which when you
only have five games, you're gonna tie somebody.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
The first tiebreaker is.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Through point differential, right, So you need to run up
the score if you can. And the winner of the
Commissioner's Cup wins, the team wins five hundred thousand dollars,
so that's thirty thousand dollars per player. And when you're
only getting paid seventy eight thousand on a rookie scaler, that's.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Like half your salary.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah, so you kind of have to keep your foot
on the gas. So we've got the Minnesota Links who
were undefeated, right, and then somehow, some way we've got
the Seattle Storm beaten that ass, right.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
But so it's five seconds.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Left and it looks like Erica Wheelers just one of
the players for the Storm is just Gonna, who's got
actually a great story. She used to play with Kaylyn
Clark and the Fever. She's an incredible person. It's five
point something seconds left. Looks like she was going to
just dribble it out when the game and she goes
by Kayla McBride who plays for the Lynx, and just
gets an easy layup instead, and Kaylea McBride, who's pretty calm,

(18:33):
loses her fucking mind, gets all in Erica Wheeler's face,
which there's a big size differential between them, which there
is with Sattoo and DJA, by the way, and.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Then both teams converge differently than in this.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
In the Mercury situation with the wings, like those were
two different, two different crews kind of staying away from
each other.

Speaker 2 (18:53):
And then Dja and Tattoo. No, this was two.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Cruise, this was this was a bench clearing moment.

Speaker 3 (18:58):
Yes, there's a little sk So then Links guard Tish
Heataman and Storm guard Skyler Diggins. They get into a
little thing. Skyler pushes her hand away, gets physical. We
don't know what at this point when we're watching it,
what has happened. We just know the storm gave the
Links their first loss. Why are they taking this so
goddamn seriously? And then and then we finally found out

(19:25):
what that was about.

Speaker 2 (19:26):
And I'm gonna play this the Stubbuds. So Courtney Williams,
who's a guard for the.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Lynx, has a twitch stream with Tish Heataman. They both
have colored their hair pink.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
Can't wait for them on the show one day. We
got to get them on.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
You cannot wait. So this they talk about.

Speaker 1 (19:43):
It escalate the situation because I'm the de escalator and
like this did I did tell you?

Speaker 3 (20:00):
So? How you did it?

Speaker 2 (20:01):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Sit back down?

Speaker 2 (20:03):
That's what I did.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
I said this and she said so and I said, oh,
had on me.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
She said, don't touch me.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
I said, that whole little crush that I thought I had, it's.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Out the window.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
It's going with somebody and says that don't crush, I'll
had on you.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
It's out the wind.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Job.

Speaker 1 (20:40):
You know what she told me. You know what, you
know what she's going. She said, shut up.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
You still like me? That's wild.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
We'll play the video, cut the video in it when
we did this video clip for this, but it is
tremendous content.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
It's by the way, there is not a way to
watch those two without like just a shit eating grin
like on your face. They're just the best thing right now.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
They're already stars. There are already stars.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
I would watch an hour long show, daily show of them.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Just yeah, like just chopping it up about the.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Lead, just like talking about literally anything.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
Yep, they're hilarious. I love them anyway.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
So that occurred really quick, just to put a bow
on the whole Mercury Wings thing. So the Wings got
beaten by the Mercury and the WNBA put out a
two minute and thirty second post giving all the highlights
from Wednesday's action, which why is it being played.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
Why are these games being played only when the.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
M NBA Finals are on and not when the days
off are going on anyway?

Speaker 2 (21:52):
So they put the other this two minute and thirty second.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
Highlight clip, a bunch of clips of Page fair enough.
No clips of the Phoenix Mercury, no clips, and was like, yo,
you need to do better.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
Can I give you my conspiracy theory?

Speaker 2 (22:09):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (22:10):
We want my conspiracy theory about all this? Always so
the NBA takes forty of the WNBA profit, right yep,
And right now the players are arguing with the CBA that.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Oh, so you have you think that the NBA is
colluding with the WNBA to keep the women, So you
think that somebody you think that also somebody put the
put a little something in Caitlin Clark's strength to make
her injured for three weeks.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Would go down?

Speaker 1 (22:43):
No, No, not that.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
However, somebody can cussed Page as well.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Okay, can I get back to my conspiracy theory, you.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Know, but all I can design to make the WNBA
ratings go down so that they don't know.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
It's not about the ratings. No, it's not about the ratings.
I in my personal opinion, the CBA right now. That
they're trying to argue is that the players deserve a
fifty to fifty share of rights and revenue and the
same model that the NBA has, and the NBA keeps
the WNBA via the NBA. Use the excuse of what

(23:20):
we lost fifty million dollars last week?

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Well, that's what I'm trying to say. But the ratings
are a piece of it.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
But what I'm saying is I think that they don't
want to set the WNBA up for success so they
don't have to pay them more.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
But that's all ratings related.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
You know these dates, right, like, this is not a surprise.
How do you How do you accidentally only schedule MNBA
on the same nights? No, it's horrible.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
It's horrible, Like.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
That's not an accident. Someone did that on purpose.

Speaker 2 (23:49):
And it's not even just that it's on the same day.
It's that it's at the same time at.

Speaker 1 (23:53):
The same time. It's it's competing broadcasts, and you're not
going to get people to watch a random Dallas Wings
and Mercury game over Game three of the w NBA Finals,
I mean of the NBA.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Finals, which was an all timer.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
Did you see all the the Caitlin Clark stands. I'm
not gonna call them fans because I think that requires
a level of like knowledge knowledge. But the Kaitlin Clark
stands have taken to hijacking reporters emails off of their
bios on the Internet to vote for her for the

(24:35):
w NBA All Star Game.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
That's incredible.

Speaker 1 (24:37):
It's not funny, but it is kind of funny that
they're doing this.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
It is funny. It is funny.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Didn't didn't the Taylor Swift fans do this for Travis Kelce?

Speaker 2 (24:48):
I think they did.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
I also think that remember we had all those K
pop people pretending to buy tickets for Trump rally just.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Be empty. See, that's funny. These are funny things.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Okay, it's all listen is gonna probably, I mean it
probably wouldn't voting anyway regardless, Like she could get one
vote and they put her in the All Star Game
because they understand how ratings work.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
But you mean to tell me, you mean to tell
me where the w NBA All Star Game is in Indianapolis,
and Clark will have could have zero votes, which she wouldn't,
and she would still be an All Star for the

(25:39):
All Star Game being in her city, there's no way.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
I also think personally kind of like American Idol voting,
I think w like I think All Star voting, that's
munch of bullshit because no one is someone the league
is picking that. No, fans aren't picking that.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Also, if you're voting, like, can I just be a
little bit of ladis here? If you're older than eighteen
and you're voting for athletes to make the All Star.

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Game, get a life, bro, get a live.

Speaker 1 (26:21):
If you go touch some grass.

Speaker 3 (26:23):
If you're older than eighteen and you're voting for singers
on the voice, get a life, Get a life.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
Go outside? What are you doing?

Speaker 1 (26:34):
That reminds me? But you need to download the Love
Island apps.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
No, I don't, No, I don't like.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
I'm not doing that. I'm not downloading an app. What
come on?

Speaker 3 (26:51):
All right, we gotta go, So we gotta talk about
another piece of of course you do.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
You're the person I'm talking about. Fucking get a life?
S all right?

Speaker 3 (27:00):
So Kristin Press has been the subject of multiple segments
of this show so far. Her fans are just as
insane as Caitlin Clark's and christ and Press decided she
was going to go on the record about the first
time people found out that.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
Her and Tobin Heath were together.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Yeah, I listened to this podcast.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
I loved the whole thing.

Speaker 1 (27:25):
I listened to. Well, I didn't listen to the whole thing.
I listened to like the halfway through. But they were
talking about how their relationship when it began, and the
way that the fans would sneak and try to find information, right,
kind of not dissimilar to the page and asy stands

(27:47):
right now that we see, like you know that dig
up old photos and like, oh, they were at this
place at the same time, and we can figure that
out by you know, because she went Nate there and
then she went Nate there. And then in an interview
they both talked about that restaurant. It's like whoa, okay
again again touch grass uch grass Right. So they talk

(28:11):
about this, like so people used to call them Preath
like that was their name, like Paisy, right, And they
talk about this on their podcast and about like how
people were shipping them before they were even together. They
they had a hard time really understanding like how to
get into their relationship because of all this nosiness from

(28:32):
others and people determining what their relationship meant and like
they were talking about and they didn't say necessarily, they
didn't give like specific instances, but they talked about it
and how like it kind of outed them and how
it that, how they're proud to be that and and
they also talked about it from the perspective of like,
but we also realized that it was bigger than us,

(28:54):
that like people were clamoring for that representation because they
needed that representation.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Because also we knew it's kind of like, they're not
dissimilar to a degree, to a degree as Page and Easy,
because Kristin Press presents very straight. Yes, and As presents
very straight. And you can say what you want about Page.
You see whatever you want to see in Page. I

(29:21):
think Page is the kind she does, the yeah she
does the lesbian bun Okay, that's just Leian, the ones
that you're the ones.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
That you're wearing right now. So you like Tobin.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
You you just look at Tobin and you know Tobin's
for the group, you know, you know.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
So it's not dissimilar.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
They also talked about how they got they got caught
kissing under a tree and they didn't know how long
they were kissing for Or.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
It was a like a it was after like a
training at like a national team camp, and yep, they
got caught by somebody and she was talking about how
she got into I can't remember it was Christen or
Tobin talking about how they got into an argument with
Megan Rappino who said that like they needed to tell
the team and they were like, I don't need to
tell the team and and it was.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
Like, pos so messy, what you mean you want us?
You want us to go on record?

Speaker 2 (30:16):
It was.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
Right, And back then they were also talking about like,
you know, this was a different era of the national
team and like people weren't really as.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Loud and proud loud, Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
And would that have been different anyway?

Speaker 2 (30:31):
It was.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
It was a good little segment. It's nice seeing them
ten years later, like happy and married with their dog
and their own company and a podcast.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
You know, and somebody needs to send this clip to Paisy,
both of them.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Yes, that's all.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
That's all.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
We really gotta go because there's somebody who's renting out
this podcast in room in five minutes, all right, So
that's all the time that we have for this episode
of Let Her Shoe.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
We'll see you on Tuesday. Have a great weekend. I
hope this this episode catches.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
You up on all the drama and we'll see you
next week.

Speaker 1 (31:12):
Austa Letterle shoe LITTERATUE. I'm a hot girl. I get
anything I want. This is my world. I make big
moves in my big US.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Since the day there I was born, I made a
big deal
