heard them all before. Billy says, he's been working through
every bedtime story and cataloging them.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
Oh boy, so you only want to hear a news story, Billie. Humh,
excuse me while I consult with my team. Okay, Elliott, Cowie,

Speaker 2 (02:20):

Speaker 3 (02:22):

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Elliott's right, he's probably read every story that we know.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
I've got it. We don't tell him a story that
he already knows. Let's make one up, make one up.
Follow my lead, all right, Billy, we have a story
for you, and it's definitely one you've never heard before.
It's the story of Billy the Brave. You see, Billy

(02:58):
the Brave was the most heroic adventurer in the land.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
For his entire life.

Speaker 4 (03:03):
He'd travel either by foot or.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
My terodactyl.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yes that's right, Elliott, sometimes by Tara dentyl, and when
he'd rive in a new town, the villagers would rush
out of their houses telling him their problems, such as.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Cow he.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yes, they'd run out and say, there's a badger.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
In my tomato patch, or there's a catapool in my soup.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
Right, you would be small problems, and Billy the Brave
would help the townspeople.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Thank you, Billy the Brian, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
But one day Billy a Brave came to a new
town and no one ran out asking for his help.
In fact, he didn't see any villagers at all. There
were no people working in the fields, no one in
the streets. The town seemed empty. So Billy the Brave

(04:12):
went and knocked on one of the doors, hoping to
find out where everyone was.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
One of the townspeople cracked their.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Door, but they seemed very scared. Elliot, Oh, who's there
at my door? I'm a frightened townsperson.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Billy the Brave asked the townsperson why they were so scared,
because there.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Was a giant dragon that comes out at night, blowing.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
Fire into the sky and scaring everyone away.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Nice one, Elliott, It's true this town had a dragon
who prowled at night, and Billy the Brave knew that
he was the only one who could do anything about it.
So that night, while all the townspeople were holed up
in their head houses.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Billy the Brave took to the streets to meet the dragon.
He walked, and he walked, until finally a burst of
orange flame filled the sky.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
And Callie and Billy, being the bravest adventurer in the land,
all the fiery trail in the sky until he stood
face to face with.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
He WoT this dragon?

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Want to be the dragon?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Elliott sure?

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Ohoozer ah, a brave adventurer. I see what brings you
out here tonight.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Billy the Brave says that he's come to see the
dragon that is scaring all of the townspeople. The dragon
was shocked.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
He didn't know he'd been scaring anyone, me, the townspeople.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
How so.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Well, mister dragon, Billy the Brave says that you've been
shooting fire through the skies every night.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Oh, well, you see, I haven't been hurting anyone. I'm
just getting ready.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
For bed, getting ready for bed.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Do you see how I'm always firing my flames into
the sky. That's because I'm not trying to hurt anyone.
I'm just doing my breathing exercises. They helped me calm
down before bed.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Nice one, do you want.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
To do some breathing with me?

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Billy the Brave agreed, but suggested they move to the
outskirts of town so that the dragon's breath wouldn't frighten
the townspeople. Hey, Lingo kids listeners, have you done any
breathing exercises to calm yourself down? It's great for when
we're feeling upset or anxious, but it's also a great
way to wind down before bed.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Now, let's take another deep breath through our nose.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
And out through our mouths. The dragon loved having someone
to do his breathing exercises with and apologized for scaring
the townspeople.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
I don't want anyone to be afraid of me. I'm
a really friendly guy. Hey, Billy the Brave and your travels,
have you learned any are the ways that might help me.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
Get to sleep? Billy the Brave asks, have you ever
been told a bedtime story?

Speaker 4 (07:53):
And so every night Billy the Brave would go to
the Dragon's cave do their breathing exercises. Then Billy would
tell him a story to help and do go to sleep,
and every person in the town slept happily. Ever after, Well,

(08:16):
what did you think of that one, Billy?

Speaker 2 (08:19):
