Speaker 1 (00:00):
MEAs Hey, Elliot, do you want to play? No, I
don't feel like playing right now. You don't, but you
always want to play, Elliot.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
That's nice of you to offer Elliot some of your
ice cream. Belly, you'll thank you.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Billy, I don't want any of your ice cream. I'm
too groopy right now. What you don't want an ice cream?
Speaker 1 (00:31):
But you always like ice cream?
Speaker 4 (00:34):
How are you okay, Elliot? You don't look very happy.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
No, I'm not okay.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
I'm in a bad mood, a bad mood, but you're
never in a bad mood, Elliot.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Eli's always happy. Something must be really really wrong.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
Welcome to Stories for Kids by Lingo Kids, where we
discover fascinating facts about the world around us and the
fun of play learning. In today's episode, Elliott is in
a bad mood and doesn't want to play with his friends.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
It's okay to.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Not feel happy all the time, but once you're in
a bad mood, it can be tricky to shake it off.
Let's see how Cowie, Lisa and Billy help Elliott to
feel better. And hey, if you like this story, tell
a friend maybe they'll want to listen to Groove.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Huddle Lisa Billy, I've called you to this meeting to
work out what's up with Elliot.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
I've never seen Elliott in a bad mood before. What
are we going to do?
Speaker 2 (01:48):
You're right, Billy, it's not like Elliott to be grumpy.
Speaker 3 (01:51):
What are we going to do? That's a good.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
Idea, Billy. Maybe you could try to cheer Elliott up.
Oh yeah, it's.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Easy peasy to make Elliott laugh. Then he'll be happy
in no time.
Speaker 5 (02:09):
I kept playing him some music. Let's go, Elliott, listen
to the music I made.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Watch me, Elliott, I'm going to do five four rolls
in a row.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
If you're sure, Billy, what does this invention do? I'm
not sure. Elliott wants to be tickled right now, so
I don't want to be tickled, Billy. And I don't
want to see your forward Rose Cowie, and I don't want.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
To hear your music, Lisa. Huh. I'm in a bad
mood and I want to be left alone.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Cowie, Lisa, Billy, maybe you should give Elliott a minute
to be by himself.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Group hut off.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
It didn't work, No, l answer an even worse mood.
Speaker 4 (03:34):
I thought he'd like my music.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
I thought my poor gals would make him smile.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
It's okay to be in a bad mood sometimes it is.
Of course, we can't be happy all of the time.
Sometimes things will make us upset, and it's natural to
feel grumpy or fed up about it.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
But Ellie, I didn't like my music and I spent
ages making it.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
It's not that he didn't like it, Lisa, we don't
know why Elliot isn't feeling great today, and your music
and Cowie's forward roles in Billy's Tickling Machine maybe aren't
what he needs right now.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Well, why is he right now? Then?
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Good idea, Billy, you could ask Elliot why he's in
a bad mood. Maybe if you understand why he feels
like that, it will help you think of better ways
to cheer him up.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Let's go ask Elliot right now. Elliott, it's okay that
you're in a bad mood today.
Speaker 4 (04:40):
But can you tell us why you're not feeling happy?
Speaker 3 (04:43):
Okay? It started when I was coming out to play
my shoelace came undone and I just can't tie it up.
I tried, and I tried, but it was so hard,
and that.
Speaker 6 (04:58):
Made me feel really annoyed me. And then I tried
to dodge all the cracks on the path to get
here by jumping over them, but because my shoe was loose,
I accidentally stepped on three.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Three.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
Oh, that would make me so grumpy too, it would
uh huh.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Well, it made me really really grumpy. And then when
I got here, I realized I'd forgotten my fruit snack
at home, and it was my favorite, a banana.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
No wonder, you're in a bad mood.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Forgetting my banina snack. It made me feel so so
angry and so so upset. I don't want to be
in a bad mood, but nothing has gone right today.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
We understand Daddy yet.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Group, Now that you know why Elliott is in a
bad mood today, can you think of things you can
do that would make him feel better?
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Ready?
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah, Elliott, we're here to help.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
I don't need any help. I'm in a bad mood, Elliott.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Billy says he's changed his tickle machine to be a
shoelace tying machine so it can tell your shoelaces properly.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Really, okay, it's a shoe whoa. It tied up my
lace properly, thanks, Billy.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Now I'm going to show you how to ford roll
so you can dodge all the cracks on.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
The path, Elliott.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Watch, Wow, Can I have a try? Of course I
just dodged all the cracks.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
And I brought you my banana snack.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
What really, I can have this?
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Of course? I always bring a spair just incase. How
do you feel now, Elliott?
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Er? I feel much better. Thank you all for making
me happy again.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
We couldn't let you stay grumpy, Elliott. We just knew
there had to be a way to cheer you up.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends.

now too.
