Speaker 4 (02:44):
Billy says he didn't know you were upset, of course,
I am, Kellie. It looks like you could use some help.
Can you tell me why you are feeling upset?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Lisa is big, really mean, and I don't know why.
I thought she was my friend.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I am your friend.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
But you didn't want the car I made you. That's true,
Actually she did not.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
She said my Fender idea for the egg drop experiment
was stupid experiment And I never said stupid.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
That's what you meant?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Is there anything else?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Cowie?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
And she said my lunch mouse and everyone agreed. Cowie.
I am so sorry. Amiens think about.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
That Philly says he is very sorry too.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
Cowie.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
It sounds like many things added up to make you
feel really rotten.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Lisa, what do you think about what Cowie shared?

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I think I mean, I don't want Cowie to dump
her lunch out or cry, But I don't think I mean.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Lisa, it sounds to me like you said and did
things to Cawwie that made her feel bad.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Do you know why you did that?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Maybe? But why I didn't do anything to you? This morning?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I wanted everyone to look at my head drop plans.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
But instead they just wanted to look at the cards
you made them.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
No one was listening to me, Lisa, Thank you for
sharing that. You know.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
A very common reason why someone acts like a bully
is that they are feeling bad about themselves, and instead
of talking about it, they find someone else to pick on.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
A bully. Are you saying Lisa is a bully? But
bullies are bag and mean looking.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
Yeah, and they punch and push.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (04:54):
Billy bullying can be physical, like pushing and punching, but
bullying can also be emotional, like saying mean things on
purpose to make someone feel bad.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
That sounds terrible. I don't want to bully anyone. Do
you really think I'm a bully?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
No, Lisa, I don't think you are a bully. But
when you say and do things to make someone feel
bad over and over again, it is called bullying. I
know you are a good friend and you don't want
to act like a bully.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
And I don't want to be bullied, of course not.
And I don't want to let anyone get bullied. So,
but how do you stop bullying?

Speaker 4 (05:40):
Great question, Lisa, Talking about it is a great start.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Really, I guess I'm doing that right now.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
You sure are.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Next time you feel like lashing out at someone, try
to talk about how you are feeling, or just take
a little break to calm down.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Wait, what do I lashes to feel bullying?

Speaker 4 (06:02):
To lash out means to take something out on someone else.
If you have that feeling inside like you just have
to say or do something mean, it's a good sign
that you have something you need to talk about.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Oh, I have another idea of something I can do.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
I'm sorry, Callie, I'm sorry for making you feel sad.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Thanks Lisa.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Today Lisa realized she was being mean to Callie. This
made Callie and Lisa feel bad. Luckily, the friends learn
some tips on what to do to stop bullying behavior.
Talk about it, take a break, and say sorry.
