Speaker 2 (00:08):
Who wants to hear it? Yeah, I knew great.

Speaker 4 (00:13):
Number one.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
I want us all to pretend to be dinosed.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Number two, I want us all to play kickball together.
And number three, I think it would be so much
fun for us to flow bobos.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Oh that sounds like all fun.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
Yeah, I want.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
To do all of that. Perfect. Oh.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I'm so glad that we can all spend time together
on our last day before summer break.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
What wait, after today, we won't see each other for
a long time.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
That's right, Calie, Today's the last day we'll be spending
together before we take our break for summer.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
No, no, no, no, I don't want to say goodbye
to my friends.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Welcome to Stories for Kids by Lingo Kids, where we
discover fascinating facts about the world around us and the
fun of play learning. In today's episode, summer break is
just around the corner, and the Lingo Kids friends are
getting ready to say goodbye, But even short goodbyes can
stir up big emotions.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Let's join them and see.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
How they help one another through all the big feelings
that come with a little goodbye?

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Okay, tying to play dinosaurs? Stop stop stop boo.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Wow, Cowie, here we're playing dinosaurs.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
Don't you want to be a scary dinosaur?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Or that doesn't sound like a scary dinosaur.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Yeah, that sounds like a sad dinosaur.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Actually, that sounds like a sad couy.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Well, that's because I am a sad Cowie. I keep
thinking about how I'm going to miss everyone so much.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
It can be really hard saying goodbye to friends we
care about, Cawie.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Yeah, why don't we try some kickball now? And it
might just make you feel better, Calie, I guess it's
worth a shot anything to make me stop feeling so sad.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Yeah, we can try. It might cheer you up, and it's.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
The next thing on my list.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Have fun.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yay, Kelly, you kick the ball?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Run on run?

Speaker 5 (02:49):
Oh you did it, Kelly, you gotta run. This has
got to cheer you off so much.

Speaker 4 (02:57):
Yeah, how are you feeling now, cow Well, I'm thinking
about how I'm having so much fun playing with all
my friends.

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Oh now I'm going through miss so much. I don't
think kickball helped at all.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Kickball definitely didn't help that at all. Great thinking, Billy,
let's do the last thing on my list, which is,
come on, everybody to the bubblefield.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
What do you say, Calie? Do you think you'd like
to try bubbles?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Actually?

Speaker 5 (03:42):
I just want to watch everyone else for bubbles, So.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Okay, that's just fine, Calie.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Sometimes watching can be just as fun.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
That was so much fun.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I'm glad I got to finish my whole list of
everything I wanted to do before the break.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Good work, Lisa.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Anything missing from your list, Elliott? Or is your packing done?

Speaker 5 (04:14):
I'm glad.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I'll have everything I need to take home with me.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
I'll be sent for our break.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Good job getting your floony all packed up, Elliot. Saying
goodbye has brought up some big feelings today.

Speaker 5 (04:32):
I know, Billy, you don't like to make a big
deal about goodbyes, do.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
You, Billy. That's right. You're excited for the adventures you'll
have on our break.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
You see, everyone reacts to goodbyes differently, and that's okay.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Some of us get sad and others feel fine.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Some might cry, and others might just say see you later, alligatory.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
See you later, alligator, that's so silly.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Or in a wild crocodile.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
In a wild crocodile. Hell, that's even sillier. And hey,
wait a minute.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
What's that Kelly.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
I'm feeling sad about saying goodbye, but Billy isn't feeling
sad about it at all. Elliott was feeling worried about
making sure he had all the things, and Lisa wanted
to faish everything on her list. Before we're done, we
all do say goodbye in different ways.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
How you say goodbye and feel about goodbyes is okay
and just right for you.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
Yeah, maybe there's a special goodbye song you can sing
for all of us before we go.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I know singing makes you feel better.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Hmmm, I've got goodbye, goodbye, goodbye for just now.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
We'll have fun this then we'll be right back. You'll
see me soon, your favorite little girl.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Wow, Wow, that song was awesome.

Speaker 5 (06:11):
It made me feel birdnes sing about my feelings. And
we will be back soon.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
When you come back, you can tell us all about
your summer adventures.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
I love that plan.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Can't wait to have some fun stories tell you all about.
How about we all take a picture together. If you're
feeling said, you can always look at it and remember
we'll see each other soon. I love that picture and
I feel sad about saying goodbye now. Thank you so

(06:51):
much for helping me.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Wait a minute, I actually have one last thing on
my list.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
What's that.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Girl?

Speaker 1 (07:00):
