Here I go Butterfly Center. Oo, beautiful butterfly.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
There's Lisa.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Lisa. We were worried.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
I'm sorry, it's okay. Lisa, shows can be so exciting
to watch sometimes it's hard to hear anything else.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
Yeah, I guess I wasn't really paying attention.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
My show is so good.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
I always feel like watching another episode, but I don't
want to miss time with my friends.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Either, Lisa, there's a butterfly on your ear.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Wow, it feels so ticklarly.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Paying attention to real life is pretty fun too. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Even though I really like seeing the silly sea serpents
on my show, sometimes when I watch a lot, I
feel a little bit icky, nor sticky, or like not
very good but also a little bit good.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
There are a lot of people just like you, Lisa.
Sometimes shows are specially made so you want to watch
another and another. You didn't do anything wrong, and you
don't need to feel bad about liking your show. The
trick is finding a good balance.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Balance. What's that? Yeah? What's that?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Balance means finding the right amount of screen time and
the right amount of other things like playing with friends.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yes, playing with us.

Speaker 5 (06:58):
I couldnside suh days that I don't use screens, like
maybe Wednesdays.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Screen free Wednesdays. That could be really fun. It also
helps to ask yourself some questions when you're using screens
like how does this make me feel? And who made this?

Speaker 5 (07:17):
Hmmm, I've never thought about that. I don't know who
made the silly Caesar Bent show.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Even if you don't know all the answers, it's still
great to practice asking some questions.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Can I watch your show with you? And then we
can ask questions together.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Billy also wants to watch me too.

Speaker 5 (07:40):
Yes, I'd love that, but not on a Wednesday.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Lingo Kids listeners, thanks for coming along to explore screen
time and balance. We thought of some useful ideas together.
Do you have your own tricks for finding a good balance.
We'd love to know what they are. You can share
