thoughts floating around fund in your mind. We will be
meditating on First Peter, chapter five, verse seven, from the
King James version, casting all your care upon Him, for
(03:15):
he careth for you. Now take a moment to pour
out your adoration to God. I exalt you, Lord, for
you are the great pastor. In you, I want for nothing.
You make me lie down in green pastures. You lead
(03:38):
me besides still waters, and you refresh my soul. Your
rod and your staff comfort me. I praise you for
your goodness, and mercy shall follow me all the days
of my life. Anxiety feels awful. It accosts the mind
(04:02):
and aggravates the heart. It alienates you from others. It
leads you to agonize over things that are outside your control.
God has not called you to live this way. As
real and strong as your feelings may be, they need
not hold power over you. You can overcome anxiety. You
(04:28):
must remember you are not alone. God is real and
he cares for you. Let us now reflect for a
moment on the anxiety that seems to be overwhelming you.
Think of the situations that are causing you stress. Confess
to the Lord the issues that are keeping you up
(04:51):
late at night and stopping you from making the most
of your days. Let God into the areas of your
heart where his peace east does not yet reign. Take
a moment now and thank God for his care over
your life. Thank Him for helping you overcome all consternation
(05:13):
and concerns. Thank Him for delivering you from all distress
and despair. Thank God for his peace and reassurance. Thank
Him for setting you free from fear and worry. Thank
God because He cares for you. Do not forget. God
(05:40):
is present and he is listening to you. Once again,
bring to mind those anxious thoughts. Ask God to bring
resolution to your conflict. To bring peace and reconciliation to
all areas of your life. Pray for God's peace over
(06:01):
your turmoil thoughts. Pray that His love would calm your
restless heart. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit for his assurance,
assurance that you are loved, cherished, and cared for. Remember
(06:21):
you can cast your anxiety on God because He cares
for you. Do not allow circumstances to rob you of
your joy. You only get to live this day once,
so make the most of it. Trust in God's love
