Speaker 1 (00:02):
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil,
cleave to that which is good Romans twelve nine. Dear God,
thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for getting

(00:26):
me through the challenges of to day that will allow
me to grow in my faith. Father, grant me with
peaceful sleep so that I may awake to morrow with
enough energy to love others in the same way that

(00:52):
you love me. Allow me to forgive myself and anyone
who did me wrong. Please help my mind to be
still and free from worry, so that I can open

(01:14):
my eyes in the morning with a sense of excitement, peace,
and joy. I place all of my worries, cares, and
struggles into your hands in Jesus name. Amen. Thank you

(01:44):
for listening to pray doct COM's nightly prayer to experience
a pocket of peace before you go to sleep. Stay
tuned for our free meditative prayer after this quick word
from our sponsor m H. Welcome to your meditative prayer

(02:11):
on sleep. Better to get the most out of your
spiritual journey, use pray dot com every day and to
make prayer a priority in your life. Our goal for
today's meditative prayer is to sleep better Before anything else,

(02:31):
take a minute to center yourself. Find a comfortable position
in a place where you can focus on reflection. Now
turn that reflection towards the word of God. Allow your
heart to enter into the presence of the Lord, and

(02:55):
prepare your mind to be filled with his word. We
will be meditating on Exodus chapter three, verse fourteen from
the King James version. And he said, my presence shall
go with thee, and I will give thee rest. Let

(03:23):
your worship rise up to God. I will make a
joyful noise unto the Lord. I will serve him with gladness.
I will come into his presence with thanksgiving in my heart.

(03:45):
I will praise God, for it is he who made us,
and we are his. We are his people and the
sheep of his pasture. I will exalt the Lord forever,
for he is good. I will bless his name. God's

(04:15):
presence provides rest. Having access to God is the easy part.
Jesus has that covered. The challenge lies in maintaining your
relationship active and healthy. Spending time and prayer, reading the Bible,

(04:39):
and living a lifestyle consistent with Christ are all ways
in which you can cultivate a relationship with God. However,
making godly choices can be difficult. Our current world is
under the dominion of evil, and life's default status is

(05:02):
not favorable to heavenly principles. This is why it is
easy to become absorbed with the daily demands and obligations
of life, to cave to worry and doubt, to be
consumed by fear of the unknown. Think for a moment

(05:29):
on what is keeping you away from the presence of God.
Now confess those areas of sin and neglect to the Lord.
Share with him your trials and tribulations. Now consider how

(05:54):
God has graciously provided you access to himself. Thank Jesus
for his sacrifice, which enables you to enter his presence,
to have fellowship with God the Father, and to experience
his Holy Spirit. Thank God for his eternal, loving kindness

(06:22):
and for his interest in your life. Thank Him for
his power and his mercy. Give thanks to God for
always being by your side, for never abandoning nor forsaking you.

(06:45):
Thank Him for his lasting love and his constant care
upon your life. Never forget God is present and he
is listening to you. Come before him and ask him

(07:06):
to grant you his rest, to give you stability and
tranquility for all of your days. Ask God for his
assurance to be a seal over your heart so you
will know that He cannot and will not fail you.

(07:35):
Ask the Holy Spirit to give you faith in his
ability to watch over you, to teach you to trust
His word and to have faith through any situation. Ask
God to be your sanctuary, your stronghold as you slumber

(07:59):
and leap. Remember God is with you and he will
give you rest. God can protect you and give you
peace no matter your circumstance. God is the rock upon

(08:21):
which you can stand. He is a firm foundation. When
you seek God's presence, he will be with you and
will give you respite, nurture, and environment that is welcoming

(08:42):
to the Holy Spirit. And watch as your sleep improves
beyond what you can imagine. Thank you for completing today's
meditative prayer on pray dot com. By incorporate eating this
healthy habit as a daily practice, you are making prayer

(09:04):
a priority and strengthening your walk with God.
