Speaker 1 (00:01):
So we being many, our one body in Christ and
every one members one of another. Romans twelve five. Dear God,
(00:27):
thank you for showing me grace and mercy tonight. Thank
you for allowing me to live a merciful life because
of the forgiveness you have shown me. Remind me to
(00:51):
always believe and trust in You. Give me the gift
of self reflection so that my relationship with you can blossom.
(01:12):
Remind me of the importance of sustaining a healthy relationship
with you. Help the relationships with the people in my
life to grow stronger by our unified trust in your word.
(01:39):
May I wake up in the morning renewed and ready
for a brand new day in Jesus name. Amen. Thank
you for listening to pray dot COM's nightly prayer to
(02:00):
experience a pocket of peace before you go to sleep.

(02:24):
spiritual journey, use pray dot com every day and make
prayer a priority in your life. Our goal for today's
meditative prayer is staying on track in a comfortable place.
Find a position that will allow you to relax with
(02:45):
your eyes closed, take a couple of deep and calming breaths.
Reach out to God's Holy Spirit and invite him to
come minister to you. Open your heart and prepare to
receive what God has for you. We will be meditating
(03:06):
on Luke chapter nine, verse sixty two from the King
James version. And Jesus said, unto him, no man, having
put his hand to the plow and looking back, is
fit for the Kingdom of God. Let your worship rise
up to God, Jesus, I adore you in the beauty
(03:31):
of your holiness. I praise you for the wondrous gift
of salvation through grace. I worship you for your sacrifice
at the Cross of Calvary, from my redemption which was
bought with your precious blood. I give all glory and
all honor to you alone. No looking back. With God,
(03:56):
there is no middle ground. You are either in or
you are out, And to serve in the Kingdom of Heaven,
you have to be all in, no regrets, and no
looking back to your old way of life. You cannot
move forward if you are constantly looking back. Likewise, you
(04:20):
cannot serve God. If you refuse to give up your
old nature and lifestyle to receive what God has for
you and to stay on track, You must therefore be
fully committed and submitted to Him. For the desires of
the flesh are in constant opposition to the things of
(04:41):
the spirit. What the old nature wants is antithesis to
God's very essence. You must choose, will you serve your
flesh and your own desires, or will you serve God
and submit to him. Like water and oil, both cannot coexist.
(05:05):
This is your opportunity to present yourself before the Lord.
Give the Lord your past, what you did and what
was done to you. Open yourself up to him, and
reach out for his forgiveness and his healing. If you
are brave enough to trust God with your restoration, he
(05:26):
can rebuild the ruins and bring beauty from ashes. For
God has the strength you need to persevere and to
stay on track. Trust Him with your soul and your spirit.
Confess your sins and put your faith in God. Now
(05:48):
consider the prize God has promised in Christ Jesus, and
thank him for it. Thank God for his grace and
his mercy. Thank Him for giving your life purpose and focus.
Thank Him for teaching you discipline and determination. Thank God
for his strength that empowers you to press on and persevere.
(06:13):
Thank Him for the care and loving kindness he continuously
bestows upon you. Never forget God is present and he
is listening to you. Come before Him and ask Him
to grant you his grace, to give you the ability
to let go of the past. Ask God to teach
(06:37):
you to lean on Him and not on your own understanding.
Ask the Holy Spirit to give you faith in his
ability to care for you, to teach you to let
go of what isn't edifying and to seek instead what
God has for you. Ask God to be your sanctuary
and your stronghold to fortify your spirit. Remember God called
(07:03):
you to let go of the past and to press
on towards Jesus Christ. God will enable and empower you
through His Holy Spirit, to persevere, to let go of
your past, and to press on towards your heavenly goal.
You are not created to live in the past. Choose
(07:25):
this day to step into the future God has for you.
Choose to allow the Holy Spirit to help you run
your race through to the finish line. Be confident in
God's word and in the power of His grace. Today
and always, thank you for completing today's meditative prayer on
