Speaker 1 (00:00):
And Misspa for he said the Lord watch between me
and THEE when we are absent one from another Genesis
thirty one forty nine. Dear God, grant me with serenity

(00:31):
and peace this evening. Thank you for your guidance and
for always offering protection in your arms. Please help guide
my thoughts in the right direction so that I can

(00:56):
be ready for the challenge is of tomorrow. Allow my
mind to rest tonight so that I can make good
decisions that will produce productive results. Father, Allow my heart

(01:25):
to be flooded with your presence so that I may
be a reflection of You to each person that I encounter.
Allow me to stay true to your word so that

(01:48):
I may sleep soundly in Jesus name. Amen, M. Thank
you for listening to pray dot coms nightly prayer to
experience a pocket of peace before you go to sleep.

(02:11):
Stay tuned for our free meditative prayer after this quick
word from our sponsors. Welcome to your meditative prayer on
staying on track. To get the most out of your
spiritual journey, use pray dot com every day and make

(02:34):
prayer a priority in your life. Our goal for today's
meditative prayer is staying on track, take a moment to relax.
Head to a quiet place where you can be free
to inspect your heart. As you close your eyes, take

(02:54):
a couple of deep and calming breaths, Gain control over
your thoughts, and shift your focus to Christ. Ask God
to come and have fellowship with you. Open yourself to
the Holy Spirit, and ask him to minister to you.

(03:15):
We will be meditating on Deuteronomy chapter six, verse five
from the King James version. And thou shalt love the
Lord Thy God with all thine heart, and with all
thy soul, and with all thy might. Now take a

(03:35):
moment to pour out your adoration to God. Father, God,
I worship you, for you are who you say you are,
Jesus Christ. I praise you for your unending love, Holy Spirit.
I adore you for your relentless kindness, your patience, and

(03:57):
your wisdom ministered continuously over me. God, I bless your name,
for there is none like you and none beside you.
God must come first. To have a relationship with Jesus,
he must continuously come first. God demands and commands first place.

(04:22):
If you are to have a relationship with God, he
must come first. Because God requires all of you, your heart,
your mind, and your body. As soon as you allow
something to come before God, even if it's your family,
you begin to compromise. You start making concessions that will

(04:46):
eventually affect your faith. To remain strong and steadfast, you
must examine your motivations and seek God. If you are
not sure whether your desire is truly to put him first,
confess your sins to God, reach out to him and

(05:06):
receive the Holy Spirit's comfort. Take a moment now to
dwell on the blessing of God's pre eminence. Remember how
He loves you and what He sacrificed for you. Think
how wonderful it is to know He watches over you
and works in your favor. Thank Him for thinking of you.

(05:27):
His thoughts are more than the sand on the seashore.
Thank God for the ability to know him and to
lead others as you are led by him. Thank Him
for the strength to choose a life of service and
to keep choosing it. Do not forget God is present

(05:47):
and he is listening to you. He gave all of
himself for you on the cross. To serve Him as
fully as Christ sacrificed himself for you requires all of you,
Your body, soul, and spirit. Ask God for the ability
to commit yourself to his service completely and willingly. Remember

(06:14):
love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul,
and strength to remain faithful and true to God. You
can't put him in second place. He must come before
everything else. Let yourself decrease and Christ in you increase.

(06:34):
Draw your strength from Him as you pour yourself out.
Choose this day to give God's supremacy and prominence in
your life. Choose this day to live a life in
obedience and relationship with God. Do this and you will
see God's goodness and grace manifested in your life, not

(06:55):
only this day, but in all other days to come.
M thank you for completing today's meditative prayer on pray
dot com. By incorporating this healthy habit as a daily practice,
you are making prayer or priority and strengthening your walk
with God.
