Speaker 1 (00:01):
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a
broken heart, and saveth such as be of contrite spirit
Psalm thirty four eighteen. Dear God, I seek your presence

(00:28):
to bless me tonight. Thank you for loving and supporting me.
Thank you for guiding me and offering protection in your arms.

(00:51):
Remind me to be grateful for each person that you
have placed into my life. Allow my behavior towards others
to be loving, encouraging and helpful. Father, Help me to

(01:21):
remain calm and patient so that I may always live
in the moment and cherish time spent with others. May
your love offer me protection as I sleep soundly tonight

(01:50):
in Jesus name. Amen, Thank you for listening to pray,
to doc coms and ile prayer to experience a pocket
of peace before you go to sleep. Stay tuned for
our free meditative prayer after this quick word from our sponsors. Oh,

(02:19):
welcome to your meditative prayer on staying on track. To
get the most out of your spiritual journey, use pray
dot com every day and make prayer a priority in
your life. Our goal for today's meditative prayer is staying
on track. Separate yourself from all else, and take a

(02:41):
moment to calm down. Close your eyes, breathe in and out,
and let your body relax. As you do so, concentrate
on quieting your spirit. Now turn your thoughts to the
Word of God. Prepare your heart and open your mind

(03:06):
to receive from the Lord. We will be meditating on
Ephesians chapter four, verse from the King James version. Neither
give place to the devil. Pour out your adoration to
the God of all flesh, Jesus. I praise you, for

(03:31):
you alone are good, and your goodness knows no end. God.
I worship you for your unfailing righteousness and unending grace
towards me. I bless your name, Holy Spirit, for there
is none like you, with your extravagant love which sustains

(03:52):
me and lifts me up. Be vigilant of your behavior.
Do not set yourself up for failure. You can open
doors for the devil in your life through your actions
and your words. So be careful of what you say
and what you do, so as to not give him

(04:13):
an opportunity to accuse you and move against you. Avoid
what you know you should not do. Stop stealing, stop gossiping,
stop cursing, others. When you accept Christ, you accept you
will change your ways and adopt his. When you renew

(04:34):
your mind in the Word and seek the Holy Spirit,
you will be conformed to the image of Christ and
become more like him. The Bible says that a curse
without cause will not land, So do not give cause
to the devil. Do not open a door that you

(04:55):
later cannot close. Make a conscious choice to put God
first in your life and to seek after the things
of the Spirit. Be careful of your actions and persevere
and righteousness. The more you seek after the Spirit, the
more like him you will be. The more you seek

(05:19):
after and partaken on godly desires, the more your flesh
will control you. So again, be vigilant of your actions
and do not create opportunities for more problems in your life.
Perhaps you are struggling with this very thing. Perhaps you

(05:41):
are seeking to live a spirit filled life and are
not succeeding. The Bible says those who confess their sins
and ask for forgiveness shall obtain mercy. So reach out
to God and confess your sins to him. Leave no
root of bitterness, malice, or hate in your heart. Ask

(06:04):
the Holy Spirit to come and minister, God's grace to you.
Now consider for a moment God's goodness in your life
and thank him for it. Thank God for his reckless love.
Thank Him for his care and for supplying all your needs.

(06:26):
Thank the Lord for his loving kindness and patience towards you,
for his willingness to meet you at your worst and
give you his best. Think for a moment on past
situations where you experienced God's goodness. Thank Him for all
past blessings over your life and for those still to come.

(06:49):
God is present and he's listening to you. He knows
the standard to which you strive to achieve. He is
more than capable and willing to help you be who
you are called to be. Approach God in the boldness
of his love, believing that his promise is true and

(07:10):
that he will sustain you. Petition God for his wisdom
and knowledge. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you to
be vigilant with your thoughts, words, and behavior. Remember, do
not give the devil a way to defeat you. Be
vigilant of what you do, where you go, and who

(07:34):
you hang around. Do not open doors for the enemy
to enter into your life. You have God's Holy Spirit
to show you how to behave and to help you.
So reach out to God today and call upon his
wisdom and mercy. Seize this opportunity to be watchful and wise,

(07:55):
to honor the trust God is placed upon you, and
in doing so, to bring honor to the name of Christ.
Thank you for completing today's meditative prayer on pray dot com.
By incorporating this healthy habit as a daily practice, you
are making prayer a priority and strengthening your walk with God.
