We won a series! We've won 7 out of 10 games. Not going to get too ahead of ourselves, but it's nice to see this team playing actual good baseball. Especially Carson Benge who may be turning into a star right before our eyes. Plus, some huge positives to pull from Marcus Semien, Christian Scott, Bo Bichette, Nolan McLean, and more. The Mets lost another series. They a golden opportunity to steal a game on Monday, but the lineup was nonexistent once again and we could only grab one out of three in Seattle. There were some big positives to pull, like Sean Manaea pitching really well, Jonah Tong finding some cutter consistency, and Bo Bichette's four-hit game. But also, obviously, plenty of negatives. Great, we won. Still, this team is a chore to watch. We talked about some poignant comments from Ronny on Tuesday after a horrible mental error by David Peterson and the team hanging on by the skin of their teeth Wednesday. That's it, we're calling it. This was as disheartening of a four days of baseball as anyone could have imagined and this season is even more off the rails than before. Wow, Monday night was fun. A back-and-forth 12-inning game that we blew up open with a 10 run 12th inning to stay hot with so many huge performances throughout. Feeling much better about Brett Baty, Bo Bichette, Carson Benge, and the rest of the squad.
