the show.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
So have you ever had the floor just open up
underneath you and make you fall into a huge bottom
of spit? It's not fun. All kinds of weird thoughts
went through my head while we fell, like what's at
the bottom of this pit? Are we gonna die? Well?
Sarah for my class? Even remember me? Did I leave
my Xbox on? Don't ask me to explain why. Anyway,
(01:11):
he fell for what seemed like forever. It was probably
only five or ten seconds, honestly, but that's still a
long time when you weren't expecting to be dropped out
of the bottom of a temple. It was pretty dark too,
so I couldn't see the others, but I could hear them.
At first, I was glad I wasn't alone, But then
I thought about what might happen if all of us
(01:31):
got hurt. The pad would cause some pretty major problems.
And then just before we hit the bottom, I had
one last shot that was kind of good and kind
of bad all at the same time. I realized that
if the temple was protecting a huge diamond like this,
then it must have been even more important than we
had realized. And if that was the case, this pit
(01:54):
we're falling into might not be the only dangerous thing
we're going to be dealing with. Everyone. Okay, yes, yeah,
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
It looks like it looks like there are some torches
over there.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Sheesh, what the heck happened there? Where are we?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Beat's me? But I feel like that solar diamond up
there is way more important than we thought. Why else
were there? We have trap right in front of it?
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Kids?
Speaker 5 (02:43):
Look at this this wall here between the two torches.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
I think it's actually a door.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
I think you're right, And there's writing on it. Packs
I feel like I've seen writing like this before, and
there's not much here. Are you sure you can't translate it?
Speaker 2 (03:10):
He said, he does recognize this writing. Do you know
what it says?
Speaker 3 (03:18):
He thinks it says trial of strength?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Uh, trial of strength? What does that mean?
Speaker 3 (03:28):
I think it means there's some kind of test on
the other side of this door.
Speaker 2 (03:32):
Well, I wish I could trust you when you said
that enough, Miles.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
If that's what packs and Petra think, that's good enough
to me. And that means we need to find another
way out. I don't know what's beyond this door, but
we can assume it's dangerous.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
I don't think there is another way out. Mom, we
don't know for sure.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Let's grab these torches and look around for a bit. Miles.
Let's take this one, Petra, would you, impacts take the
other torch and look in that direction. Miles, you need
to stop being so cold to Petra.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
Why she lied to me for weeks I.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
Know, but she didn't do it to hurt you, and
she really is very sorry. You need to think about
all the good things she's done for you while you
were lost. She's a good person.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
I can tell. It's time for you to forgive her.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah, Okay, work on it good.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
I'm proud of you.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
I'm not seeing anything this way, just darkness and a
solid wall.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
Petra, do you too see anything over there?
Speaker 3 (04:45):
No? Nothing?
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Well, trial of strength here we come. I gotta say
I was still pretty mad at Petra and didn't exactly
help that. I knew my mom was right about forgiving,
but being in a life or death situation isn't exactly
the best time to be working on forgiving someone. We
were about to walk into something that was designed to
(05:09):
keep that huge solar diamond safe, and I was betting
it was going to be super dangerous, So making up
with Petro is going to have to wait. And unfortunately
it wasn't just this trial we're going to have to
worry about. I knew somehow that Globotech was going to
come after us soon, not to mention not this. In
(05:31):
some ways, I was almost relieved to be dealing with
this trial of strength rather than fighting against those two
man was I about to regret thinking that, Well, anyone
got any ideas on how to get the store open? Oh?
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Look down here, there's a big stone square in the
floor that kind of looks like that button you pressed
up above. I think there's a good chance this will
open the door, but we need to be ready for
whatever might be on the other side.
Speaker 3 (06:02):
If it's a trial of strength. Miles, do you think
we should use the other glow grape?
Speaker 2 (06:12):
No, I don't think so. I mean that's a good idea,
but maybe we should wait until we see what's through
the door first.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Okay, I agree, you too ready?
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Packs?
Speaker 4 (06:26):
How about you? Okay, I'm going to step on the button,
cross your fingers. What on earth?
Speaker 2 (06:57):
Hey? Uh, maybe we're a little too hasty looking for
another way out. I think we can close the store
and go back and give it another shy. All right,
So picture this. You're outside playing in your backyard, and
you build a pile of rocks, some of them big,
some of them small, some of them really big, and
(07:17):
you build this pile of rock like ten feet I
then picture of that pile of rocks came to life,
like the rocks all came together to form a head, arms, legs,
the whole deal, and then it started walking around. That's
what we saw when we opened that door. I found
out later it was called a stone Golok. It was
(07:40):
literally a giant made out of rocks. I don't know
what I had expected in the trial of strength, maybe
like a pushup competition, arm wrestling. See some big stone
dude walking around in there was seriously crazy, but we
really didn't have a choice. Knew there was no other
(08:00):
way out, so you'd have to figure out a way
to get past him.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
No problem, right, I don't understand what are we supposed
to do against this thing?
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Huh Oh, I think I know what. Look up there
on the wall, see those drawings.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
It looks like it looks like the rock Giant here,
and there's this other person. It kind of looks like
a stick figure.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
Is it is.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
The stick figure wrestling the rock Giant?
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you're right.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
No, absolutely not. None of us is wrestling that thing.
It's far too dangerous.
Speaker 3 (08:45):
But look on the other side of the room, there's
another door. I bet if we beat the giant that
door will open. That's gotta be the way out of here.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
We'll just have to figure out another way to get
to the door and open it.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
If I try to walk around the edge of the.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Roomy, I think he's letting you know. He's not gonna
let you do that. We're going to have to beat him.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
Miles.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah, I know, it's gotta be me. Hear me, the
last yellow glow grape? Will you?
Speaker 4 (09:17):
Miles? I said, no, you are not wrestling this thing.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
We don't have a choice. Mom. If we don't get
out of here, we'll never find dad. Globotech will win,
and who knows what other bad things will happen. It'll
be okay, I promise.
Speaker 3 (09:34):
Here's the glow grape.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
Good good luck?
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Thanks? Oh man, this feels so cool. All right, pebble brain,
you want it, you got it. And another thing, brother,
you're gonna regret ever step in foot inside this ring
(10:01):
with me.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
Oh my goodness, he's actually whoa, he's actually holding his oop.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
Miles is half that creature size?
Speaker 3 (10:19):
What it looks like they're matched.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Come on, Miles, you can do it.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
M ooh yeah you like that. Don't stand on the
tracks when there's a train coming through a little man ouch. Hey, hey,
no biting, that's cheating, that's dirty.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Don't let him give away with that horse.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Here, shoe on this big boy, elbow drop, flying squirrel.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
You've got him down, Miles, pat him.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
That's right, big fellow, you're going nowhere.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
How do we know if Miles wins.
Speaker 3 (11:17):
Hey, it stopped moving. You did it, Miles?
Speaker 1 (11:20):
You won?
Speaker 2 (11:21):
Oh yeah, Miles, I am so proud of you.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
That was amazing.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Thanks man. Those glow grapes are amazing. We gotta keep
a lookout for more of us.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Actually, look over here, see this vine?
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Uh yeah, what is it?
Speaker 3 (11:40):
This is the same kind of vine I found earlier
when I found the glow grapes. But this vine looks
all dry and dead. Maybe there used to be yellow
glow grapes on it.
Speaker 2 (11:50):
I bet you're right. How else would someone be expected
to wrestle that rock giant?
Speaker 4 (11:56):
Makes sense. It's a good thing you two already had one,
because this fine looks like it's been dead for a
long time.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Let's go see what's on the other side of the
door now that we won.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
It's gonna be the way out right, I'm sure it is.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
It's it's it's another door with more writing pacts. Any
idea what this one says?
Speaker 3 (12:26):
It says trial of Knowledge.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Oh, come on,
