the show.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Man. I thought I had saved the day and made
sure we were going to get out of that temple.
You know, ate a glow grape, rustled a giant stone
goolum pinned them to the floor. No big deal. But
then we go out the door to the next room
and there's another trial waiting for us, the trial of knowledge.
I mean, I guess it kind of makes sense if
(01:07):
the temple was set up just to make sure only
the right people were able to get through. You can
just have a trial of strength, right, Being smart is
just as important as being strong. Wrestling that Golum hadn't
exactly been easy, though, and it was pretty dangerous too,
So I don't think any of us expected the next
trial to be a walk in the park. We did
(01:28):
not expect it to be the most dangerous thing we'd
seen yet, though.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
I guess we don't have any choice. We're going to
have to figure out this trial out too, if we
want to get out of here. You kids ready, and
you packs? Yes?
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah? I guess.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Okay, stick close to each other. We don't know what's
on the other side. I'll go ahead and step on
the button to let us in.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Uh. I don't really see anything. It just looks like
a big empty room.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
There's gotta be something in there. We'll have to get
past to figure out.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I agree.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
Let's take a good look around.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
What's this stuff all over the floor? Is this.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
The door we came through? It just closed?
Speaker 4 (02:29):
You don't like this?
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Your right packs? The floor? It's like dry hay and
twigs and stuff. How would you make a floor out
of this?
Speaker 4 (02:42):
Is that a fire?
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Where?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Look over there? See that whole way up there in
the wall. I think something just caught fire up there.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
She's right, I can see the flames. What's going on,
Oh no, what what's wrong? That hole in the.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
Wall where the fire is. Look next to it. There's
a path of straw along the wall and it goes
up to the platform over there, and on that platform
is what looks like explosives.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
Wait, so you're saying that fire up there is going
to spread to that straw fix along the wall, and
then that's going to set those explosives on fire.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Exactly.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Well, if we get against the wallway over there, shouldn't
we be okay? I mean, the explosion can't be that
big miles the floor. Oh no, kids, we have to
find a way to put that fire out and fast.
If those explosives go off, flaming bits of wood is
straw are going to go everywhere, and then this entire
(03:49):
room is going to turn into an infernal So much
for an empty room with not much going on inside.
It turns out there was a fire coming. We were
all standing on the world's biggest pile of firewood. Not
good at least with the stone goll and we were
able to sit back and try and figure out a plan.
This time. It was either think quick or get roasted
(04:11):
like a hot dog. But there was a big problem
in the trial of strength, we knew what we had
to do get past the stone goal. In this room,
we had no idea what we were supposed to do
other than try not to get deep fried, and how
exactly we were supposed to do that good thing. We
had packs with us, because while the humans me included
(04:34):
were freaking out, he was using his head and looking around.
I don't want to think about what would have happened
if we hadn't seen what he saw. Anyone got any ideas?
I don't think we have very long until the fire
reaches those explosives.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
We've got to find a way to put that fire
up before it gets there. How we can't reach that
high up, there's no way.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
What's that pas, Well, we don't have any ice, and
even if we did, how would.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
That help ice above us? He's right, look up in
the ceiling. There's three humongous chunks of ice up there
above the platform that has the explosives on it.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
I see them, But how will that help us?
Speaker 3 (05:17):
If we could make that ice smelt, they would absolutely
drench the platform with water, and once the fire gets there,
everything will be too wet to burn. We would be safe.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
How are we supposed to melt them, though.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Everyone spread out fast and look around. If this is
anything like the last room, I'm betting there's a solution
in here somewhere. Hurry, go, go, go.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Packs found something over there.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Whoa, it's a red glow.
Speaker 2 (05:50):
Grape, a red one. Any idea what it does?
Speaker 4 (05:54):
No, but I'm guessing it'll help us somehow.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
I'm sure you're right, but I don't want either one
of you eating something when we don't know what it
might do.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
But Mom, we have to.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
I know.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
That's why I'm going to eat it.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
Are you sure?
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Yes? Handed to me across your fingers. Kids. Oh, not bad.
It tastes a bit like.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Cinnamon cinnamon flavored fruit. Yuck.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
It's actually woo it's getting a bit spicy.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Oh that does sound gross?
Speaker 3 (06:36):
What on earth?
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (06:40):
I feel like I just swallowed af oh barrel full
of full of olla banio peppers.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
It burns. Ah oh mom, uh, you just breathe fire.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
And I don't think i've done yet.
Speaker 2 (06:57):
It burns so bad.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
Oh, I think I get it. You need to shoot
fire up there. The ice can melt it. I'm whoo whoo,
I'll try.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
It's working. It's actually working. Keep it up, Mom, Can
you believe it? The red glow grapes let you breathe fire.
Although it sounded like it wasn't as fun as getting
super strength from the yellow ones, because while my mom
loves spicy food, she was actually sweating from how spicy
(07:29):
the red grape was just between you and me. At first,
I had wanted to be the one who ate the
red glow grape, but when I saw what it was doing,
I was pretty glad she had just stepped in and
o sided to eat herself. Don't tell her, I said that, anyway.
After just a few minutes of her breathing fire, up
at the block's ice, they're almost completely melted, and Mom
(07:50):
had been right. The platforms with the explosive on it
got absolutely soaked. He watched as the fire kept burning
closer hand closer to the platform, and all we could
do is hope that the explosives were too wet to burn.
That was not a fun way think about it. You
have to sit there and watch something burn close to
a bunch of explosives, and once the fire reached the explosives,
(08:12):
one of two things will happen. One the explosives will
go off and you'll feel what a turkey must feel,
and you pop it in the oven for Thanksgiving or two.
The explosives don't go off and you're okay for a minute,
but then you still have to figure out how to
get out of a dangerous room under a dangerous temple. Yeah.
So not my favorite thing I've ever waited for.
Speaker 3 (08:33):
You did create. The platform is super wet. I don't
think it'll be able to burn.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
What hope? So, oh my throat, it's got to work.
We did everything you were supposed to. I just know it.
The fire's out. We did it.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Oh, thank goodness.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
How do you think we're supposed to get out of here?
Speaker 3 (09:02):
The smoke is kind of starting to get to me.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Look the way out is opening up. Come on, I
bet we can get back up to the temple now.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Oh, someone please tell me that's not another door with
writing on it. Tell me I'm saying things.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Sorry, Mom, it's definitely another door. Ah, this doesn't make
any sense. We were strong and that we were smart.
What's left? What can we possibly have to prove? Oh?
Speaker 4 (09:41):
No, I guess we're about to have to prove that
we're brave.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
What why do you say that?
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Pac said the writing on the door says trial of
the heart.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
Are you kidding? Both of the last two trials of bravery.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
I know that's what got me worried. If the last
to to bravery, then this one must be serious. M.
