Speaker 1 (00:08):
This was it, the final showdown, US versus Vectra, family
and friends versus Globotech, Good guys versus bad guys. Unfortunately,
the bad guys that is Vectra had brought a massive
robot dingy. She called it a battlesuit, and let me
tell you, that thing was no joke. It had to
(00:31):
be at least fifteen feet tall, with all kinds of
weapons and technology over it, plus who knows what else
not to mention, Vetra was pretty mad. I mean, yeah,
I get it, we had ruined our plans and basically
kicked Globotech out of the Lost World. But hey, if
you choose to be a bad guy, sooner or later,
(00:51):
someone is gonna show up and give you what you deserve, right.
I would have tried to explain that to her, but
she really didn't look like she wanted to talk.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
At first, I was afraid.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
I didn't see how we could possibly do anything against
your battlesuit.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
But then I thought about how far we had come.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
I thought all the way back to when I first
met Drake and he had trapped that scarlet spot of Cheetah.
I remembered falling down into the Lost World, learning about
globotech meaning Petra, and packs and all the dangerous things.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
I'd made it through, and that settled it.
Speaker 1 (01:20):
I'd overcome way too much to let some tin can
hurt my friends or my parents one way or another.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
I was going to stop Thattra. So you sound kind
of mad.
Speaker 3 (01:34):
Mad, I'm curious. Do you have any idea how much
money you've cost me? How much time I've been wasting
trying to track you in my wayward nie down. How
many precious resources have been lost lost?
Speaker 4 (01:49):
I think you mean returned back to where they're supposed
to be here in the lost world.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
Don't be quiet, Petra. Your mother only knew.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
My mother would be ashamed of you, Aunt Vecta.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
She would tell you herself that what you're doing is wrong,
and she would be proud of me for standing up
to you all.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
I guess we'll never know. And since that looks like
you've chosen this family over me, you can stay with them.
Speaker 6 (02:17):
Now.
Speaker 5 (02:18):
You all have two choices.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
One stand over there, out of the way, and I'll
secure you with the nets you can't move while I
demolish this temple and take the grand Solar Diamond. After that,
I'll probably let you go. Two, you don't get out
of my way, I tap you anyway while I tear
the temple apart, and then.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
I definitely leave you here.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
Oh and there are still plenty of wild animals around
that would love to find a bunch of helpless people who.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
Oh no, I think PAX's strength is wearing off.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Oh as if it wouldn't matter, even strengthened by the grapes,
he wouldn't be a match for the battlesuit.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
You knew, you knew the glow grapes weren't poisonous.
Speaker 6 (03:02):
Of course I knew.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Why would I tell you about the last world's most
precious treasure? Did you really think the riches of this
place are just the solar diamonds or the rare animals.
They're valuable, but they're nothing compared to those grapes. Do
you have any idea what we could create with them?
The weapons, the technology? And yet you've been going around
(03:27):
stepping your face with them like they're sheep candy.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Hey, we've been in some dangerous situations and those grapes
have saved our lives.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Yeah, and look where it got you here at my mercy.
So what's it going to be? Option one?
Speaker 7 (03:44):
Or Option two, Petra, can we trust what she just
said about probably letting.
Speaker 6 (03:52):
Us go if we choose option one?
Speaker 5 (03:54):
Not a chance, right, I've.
Speaker 8 (03:56):
Got to agree with the girl on this one. You
can't trust Victor.
Speaker 6 (04:00):
That's what I was worried about.
Speaker 7 (04:03):
Listen, Missshade, I'm Miles's father. We won't try to stop you,
but I've got my family to think about, plus our
three new friends. We'll go our own way and leave
you to do whatever you want to do down here.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Okay, sounds to me like you've chosen option too goody,
which means none of you are leaving this place ever.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah, bad news. Huh.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
We had to think fast vect your under battlesuit will
be honest in seconds, and there was really nothing we
could do. Five people on a line against a giant
metal monster pretty bad odds if you ask me, but
we were determined to try.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Sometimes that's what being brave means.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
You don't always know if something's gonna work out, but
you decide that, no matter what, you're going to give
it your best because you know it's the right thing
to do. So we got ready and Vetcher started coming
towards us, and then the craziest thing happened, something I
never ever would have expected, something none of us expected.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Just wait until you hear this.
Speaker 8 (05:17):
Well, everyone, it's been a pleasure height that things might
end this way. But I'm grateful to all of you
for showing me the truth about blood b I tick,
especially you, myles.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
But it can't end like this. There's got to be
something that we can do. I don't know.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
It would take an army for us to defeat that battlesuit.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (05:38):
Ugh, what was that?
Speaker 2 (05:42):
Miles?
Speaker 3 (05:43):
Miles that see us?
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Oh my goodness?
Speaker 9 (05:46):
Are those are those scarlet spotted genus?
Speaker 5 (05:50):
There must be hundreds of them.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
It is them. They're here to help us. What are
they doing here?
Speaker 5 (06:00):
They're here to help us.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
Take care of you?
Speaker 3 (06:02):
A fine cop it your way here.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Come on, everyone, you've gotta help.
Speaker 6 (06:14):
Miles. Wait, what do you think you're gonna do?
Speaker 2 (06:17):
It's gotta have a weak spot somewhere.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
He's right, and with all these cheetahs helping us, we
might have time to figure out a way to stop
this thing.
Speaker 8 (06:27):
Well what are we waiting for? The kids are willing
to give it a shot, So I say we all'll
pitch in.
Speaker 6 (06:36):
No get Oh, why something you stupid peace.
Speaker 5 (06:41):
There's has nothing to do with you. Besides, you can't
stop me.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Well, i'd say she's definitely distracted. Keep it up, cheetahs,
you're doing.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Great, Miles.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Please tell me you've got a plan.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
Well, I thought if we could get close stuff and look,
we might see a way we can.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
I they didn't want to use this, but you've left
me no joyce.
Speaker 4 (07:14):
Whoa Do you see that cannon on the battlesuit's chest.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
It's huge.
Speaker 4 (07:27):
Well this isn't good, but if she keeps using that thing,
she'll turn this whole clearing into a wasteland.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Do you know what I think? I do have an idea.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
She put the cannon back. I guess it needs to recharge. Well,
what's your idea?
Speaker 2 (07:44):
We need her to shoot that cannon off again? What
have you lost your mind? Trust me?
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Do you notice that you had to stand still while
the cannon came out and charged up. When she does
that again, you and I can jump on the battlesuit
and try and find a weakness.
Speaker 4 (08:00):
I don't know. That sounds super dangerous.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
More dangerous than standing here.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Good point. Facts, You've got to tell the cheetahs that
we need for the battlesuit to use that giant cannon again.
They need to give my aunt a target you can't resist. Yes,
we've got a plan.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Just do it.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Please?
Speaker 6 (08:26):
Are you really so slow to learn?
Speaker 3 (08:30):
Gathering together like that only gives me.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
A bigger target.
Speaker 10 (08:34):
Take this.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
Now, Petra, Miles, what are you doing?
Speaker 6 (08:42):
He must have some kind of plan.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
I hope, Hi, get off my suit.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
What do you think you're doing, Miles?
Speaker 4 (08:54):
I don't see anything we can use.
Speaker 6 (08:56):
This thing's infencible.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Ha I don't either. Okay, so it was a bad idea.
Let's get out of here before Wait. Wait, what's this, Petra.
There's a little latch on here that says emergency on it.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
Don't touch that.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
Get away from there.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Huh.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
And look under here, under the hatch, this big red
button says eject on it.
Speaker 6 (09:20):
Where's the button?
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Where's it?
Speaker 8 (09:22):
Pu's it?
Speaker 11 (09:22):
What's it?
Speaker 10 (09:23):
No?
Speaker 12 (09:26):
Emergency override ejes sequence initiated three two?
Speaker 4 (09:39):
We did it.
Speaker 9 (09:40):
I can't believe it, sister.
Speaker 6 (09:46):
I'm warning you.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
It's over, Vectra. There's nothing you can do now.
Speaker 11 (09:52):
It'll never be over. Boy, you can't stop me for good.
Speaking of which.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
What is this?
Speaker 6 (10:01):
Oh no, Miles, it's the purple glow grape.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Put oh no, it fell out of my pocket.
Speaker 11 (10:10):
Well well, well, a purple glow grape. I've never even
seen one of these. It must be the rarest kind
of grape down here, and I wonder, since it's so
big and so rare, kind of fantastic powers might this
give the one who eats it?
Speaker 10 (10:29):
Hun vector, don't just let it be over. Let's see
you stuck me after.
Speaker 6 (10:39):
I eat this?
Speaker 1 (10:43):
Hm oh no, everyone, get ready.
Speaker 3 (10:47):
Oh oh, oh, wha la oh, I'm so so.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
You know what.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I think I just figured something out.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Uh, you want to fill me in.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
I don't think there actually are any purple glow grapes.
I think that was probably just a really big blue
grape that wasn't ripe yet. And apparently, do get.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Me the water place.
Speaker 11 (11:21):
It's so bad.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
Apparently they're pretty gross if you eat them before they're ripe.
Speaker 8 (11:38):
Well done, everyone, I'll ask you what miss shake back
to headquarters. Then I'll get her up to the surface
so we can radio in the authorities to come pick
her up. I'm sure that'll be very interested to hear
what you've been doing behind the scenes with Globotech.
Speaker 9 (11:52):
Mom, don't let them arrest me please credit Protectors, and
now you I never get what I.
Speaker 6 (12:04):
Want Credit Protectors. I can't believe it. Miles, remind me
to tell you that story.
Speaker 5 (12:15):
Bye, it don't.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Until next time.
Speaker 6 (12:21):
By Drake.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Thanks for all your help. Stay in touch.
Speaker 8 (12:25):
Okay, you got a kid, See you soon, I'm sure.
Speaker 6 (12:28):
Well everyone, what now?
Speaker 2 (12:33):
Huh? Why?
Speaker 12 (12:35):
What did he say?
Speaker 4 (12:36):
He wants Miles to kneel in front of him?
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Oh my gosh, wow, what is it? What's going on? Packs?
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Just he just formally declared Miles to be a protector
just like him.
Speaker 5 (12:54):
So Miles is a protector like Pax. Now what does
that mean?
Speaker 1 (12:59):
It means trusting me to help him take care of
all the animals down here in the lost world down here.
Speaker 6 (13:05):
But we've got to get back home too.
Speaker 5 (13:09):
Though, I don't know, Roger, there's so much to be
discovered here. Do we really want to leave em?
Speaker 6 (13:19):
You know what? You're right? Maybe we should stay here
at least for a while.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Well, there it is. That's how I became known as Miles.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
The Brave Paveectra got in a lot of trouble, so
she was kicked out of Globotech for good. I'm not
really sure what happened to her after that, but at
least she didn't come back to bother us. Dad found
all kinds of caves full of solar diamonds, but we
never found another one like the Grand Solar diamond. He said,
there was no end to the new technologies we could
build using the diamonds.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
As an energy source.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
He spends most of his time now in the old
Globo Tech Lab experimenting. Mom got to study the Scarlet
Spot cheat is as much as she wanted, and she
kind of became almost like a mom to all of
the cups. She's basically part of the pack now. Oh
and speaking of animals, she mentioned a group that went
around protecting and rescuing all kinds of animals. She called
(14:14):
them the Critter Protectors, and honestly, it sounded right up
my alley, except that I really felt like it was
my new mission to say, in the Lost Road, you know, oh,
and those critter Protectors, they're basically famous for protecting and
rescuing all kinds of animals.
Speaker 2 (14:29):
Sounds right up my alley.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
That is well, anyway, I guess it was my new
mission to stay in the lost world and carry on
their mission down here.
Speaker 2 (14:37):
So that's what we did.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Petra Packs and I went all around the Lost World
doing everything we could to help all the animals who
had been trapped by Globotech. Thankfully, they were all safe,
and they sure were glad to see us when we
showed up to set them free. Drake eventually came back
down to the Lost World to join us, and we
made him part of our team.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Turns out, Drake has quite a story of his own.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
The animals in the Lost World love him, and for
good reason too, believe it or not. Even though this
part of the story is over, that was nowhere near
the end of our adventures. Those are stories for another time, though,
and I'm sure you'll get to hear them one day.
So until then, this is Miles the Break one final time,
signing off.
