Speaker 1 (00:24):
I always dreamed of having an adventure, but never in
my life did I imagine myself walking through a jungle
in a lost world beneath ours, And I definitely never
imagine walking through it with a lion. A lion who
I learned was named Pax and could talk, well sort of.
He really just chose who could understand him, and he

(00:46):
chose me. Pretty cool, huh So, packs, how long have
you lived here? You're kidding right a way? You're that old? Well,
none personally, I guess. But even if I did know

(01:07):
any lions, I'm pretty certain none of them are that old.
Is your family really old too? Oh? You're all alone?
I'm sorry, me too, well kind of. It's just my

(01:30):
mom and dad and me, Oh and my aunt Vectra.
My parents are wildlife biologists, so you know, we travel
around a lot. At least we usually do. This was
the one time they decided to leave me behind. They
thought I'd be better off staying with my aunt Vectra.
I guess their teen daughter getting lost in an underground
world with a talking lion wasn't really something they thought of.

(01:53):
I know, I didn't. I thought spending a few years
in the jungle would be. I do not talk a lot. Geez,
forgive me for trying to get to know you. Oh sure,
now you want to talk? No, I'm sorry, I was kidding.

(02:19):
I don't really have any friends, but like I said,
we travel a lot, so I don't really have time
to get to know others my age. When I do well,
I'm not really good with people. They can be hard
to talk to, and sooner or later they kind of
lose interest and leave. It can be hard. That's why

(02:42):
I think on Vector is so cool. Though she doesn't
seem to have any issues with people, everyone seems to
like her. Plus, she's brilliant. I'd love to be like
her when I grow up. Maybe not be a CEO,
but something cool and important. You know what about you?
Do lions have a job. I've never talked to one before,

(03:04):
so I have no idea if you guys have day
jobs or hobbies? Was that a cow? Let me paint

(03:25):
a picture here. There, I am casually walking and talking
with a giant lion, when all of a sudden, a
giant purple cow comes crashing through the trees. It stops
in front of us. If that's not weird enough, Following
it was a great, big wolf. No, seriously, picture every

(03:47):
scary picture of a wolf you've ever seen in movies, cartoons, books, whatever,
that's what this wolf look like. And the way it
was drooling and snarling. I had a feeling it probably
was hungry too, like really hungry. Come on, cow, we

(04:20):
need to run. I don't want to be bull food.
Don't speak purple cow. I don't know what you're saying. Wait,

(04:40):
why do you slab? Whoa?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (04:50):
My options are a big scary, hungry wolf or a
big scary cliff. So Lost World just keeps getting better
and better. Hacks, did you it's the wolf? Wow? The

(05:19):
wolf survived that fall. I wonder where he's running off to.
Oh a five, purple cow, get back safe? Hey, beat up?
The hat was insane? You do that giant wolf thing
twenty feet in the air like he was a toy

(05:41):
or something? What even was that thing a dire wolf? Uh?
Are there a lot of those around the Lost World?

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Not?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Really? Hold on, what about the purple cow? It didn't
seem scared of you at all. Are lions in the
Lost World vegetarians or something? Turned out Pax wasn't a vegetarian.
The cow just knew who he was? Who was he? Well,

(06:18):
I learned that Pax wasn't just any lion. He was
the Protector. At least that's what all the creatures of
the Lost World called him. It was his job to
keep the Lost World safe, and it had been for
a really, really long time. Pax the Protector. Huh So
all the animals here look up to you, then, that's

(06:40):
kind of cool. Is that dire wolf part of a
rival animal group or something something like that? Okay, wait
a minute, no wonder you don't like Globo Tech. You
probably thought they were putting the Lost World in all
its creatures in day. This is all just a big misunderstanding,

(07:04):
just like I thought. I've told you already. They're not
trust me, true, I guess it doesn't make sense for
you to trust me when we don't actually know each other.
But I've been in the labs at the main base,
you know, the ones you ruined. All they have in

(07:25):
there are a bunch of weird plants, those sugary great
things in solar diamonds, oh right, and some stupid trash
carrying bugs. The jungle bases, well those have well, I
guess there were some animals in the one near Station one,
but they were just studying them. They would have let

(07:45):
them go when they were done. Yeah, right, because Aunt
Vectra wouldn't work for a company that was hurting animals
and ruining worlds. I know her, I'm her niece, her
favorite niece too, favorite only you know what I mean
if you had family, I mean, I'm sorry that was

(08:12):
that was mean. I told you I'm not good with people. Yes,
I'm not good with lions either. What I meant was
that Aunt Vectra's my family. She's one of the best
people I know. Believe me, if you knew her like
I do, you'd like her too. So what's the name

(08:36):
of the rival animals that dire wolves are a part of? Stop? Okay,
silence the rest of the way, got it? Who is
that for?

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (08:55):
One more step and I would have been caught in
a giant trap. And I don't mean one of those
easy traps with nets. This trap was mean looking, with
spikes and humming with electrical sparks. You you saved me packs.
I could have been really hurt if I stepped in

(09:16):
that thing. There's some kind of symbol or or words
stamped on the trap glow. Oh no, that can't be right.
Why would Globotech set dangerous traps around the Lost World.
They're just supposed to be looking for stuff to help

(09:38):
the surface world, like cool plants and minerals, unless you
were right. That's when Pax told me what Globotech actually
had been doing here in the Lost World. Since they've
gotten to the Lost World, they've been setting up dangerous

(10:00):
traps all over. Animals had been going missing, and mountains
and caverns were being broken down to find the solar diamonds.
At first, Pax didn't know what globo Tech's intensions were,
but then he saw someone who looked an awfully lot
like Agent eleven trap a purple cow and that smelly
rodent thing I saw at the base. I guess they're

(10:21):
called quattas. So he went to save them, but he
didn't know Agent eleven had a tranquilizer rifle. That's how
he got captured. Oh, it wasn't hard to realize Agent
eleven was a villain. It was hard learning that I
had been wrong about Globo Tech. But the question that
scared me the most was this. If Agent eleven and

(10:44):
Globotech were actually the bad guys here, what did that
make my aunt Vectra.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Mischell. Thank you for getting here so quickly.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
You said you had news about Petra. I came as
fast as the Deep would let me.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
I thought it'd be better to show you in person.
Please follow me. As you know, we've set up cameras
close to each of our traps. Each camera is set
to alert us when the trap is triggered. Earlier today,
we got an alert from camera five over in the
far West region of the Lost World.

Speaker 4 (11:29):
This is what the camera caught.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
What is that for? Oh you you saved me. Packs
I could have been really hurt if I stepped in
that thing.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
Oh thank goodness, she's okay, Agent eleven. I need a
group of agents ready to retrieve her as soon as possible.

Speaker 6 (11:55):
Of course, ma'am. But that wasn't the only thing I
thought you should see.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
What do you mean There's some kind of symbol or
or words stamped on the trap glow.

Speaker 4 (12:09):
The camera also caught.

Speaker 5 (12:11):
This the lion.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Who else has seen this?

Speaker 4 (12:18):
Just the two of us?

Speaker 5 (12:20):
Good tell me when the team is ready, Agent eleven,
and this time, make sure everyone is equipped with the tranquilizers.
I don't know what that beast is planning to do
with my niece. But I'm not taking any chances leaving
her with it. We're taking this lion down.

Speaker 4 (12:36):
No matter what understood, Mischee understood, I want to fire

(12:59):
silence light.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
Every scar became my sign, built from masses, built from fear.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
Now I'm loud of them here.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
It's had to make me part of the machine. But
not so through the coach set the tungle free. They
said protectors had to earl, so I cart it in.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Thunder, not in shape.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
I am the protector here, not hiding him.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
Inside bag. In the storm between the head mad side.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Now it's lightning and the bon I am the protector,
and this is my sight. I stepped back on the
glitch in your crown, Jungle queen case, shut me down.
Shade always has to have broke that curse. Now A
responds to verse cutrom in the mirror. I sy light

(14:11):
the one you may learn how to fight everything. Turn
the fuel. Now I'm rewriting the walls, never regain.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
I stay with the brakes every creature I could and say,
I hear them calling my name, cat the protecting my shade.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
They said protectors have to earn their names.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
So I carved it in thunder, not in shoe. I
am the protector.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Hear your mother.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Windsor bacon, that's something everything.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
So now it's lightly you tonight. I am the protector,
and this is my fight.

Speaker 3 (15:07):
It's stronger.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Breeze is with me.

Speaker 3 (15:11):
A remembers my vee everywhere, every sport.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
They can't stand me.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
I am the protector.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
As with me, this is more than this. No more
silence nor references current moment, my fee, every boy, everything.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
I am the protector for forever.

Speaker 4 (15:55):
