Speaker 1 (00:07):
We are currently in the drooling over JJ McCarthy stage
why Daniel Jones picked the right team and a transgender
is dominating high school softball in Champlain Park, Minnesota, which
is fifteen minutes from our house, and there are story
(00:32):
after story about that, and they're in the championship game today.
All of those stories and more will be addressed on
today's podcast. But first I need to tell you about
five Star Bass Solutions of Minneapolis, because they transformed our
bathroom in fourty eight hours and they will do the
(00:53):
same thing for you. New floor, new vanity. There was
running touch ups. These were full remodels around, got rid
of some handbars, new tub. We went from one sink
to two sinks, which is one of our favorite bathroom features.
We can brush teeth at the same time, we can
wash hands at the same time, new vanity. It's spectacular.
(01:14):
We went from an outdated, disgusting and embarrassing bathroom to
a masterpiece in forty eight hours. Five Star Bass Solutions,
it's in the name. They're called a five star for
our reason because they produce five star work and they

Five Star Bass Solutions of Minneapolis. All right, as I
was saying, we are in the drooling over jajon McCarthy's
stage because a single video comes out in low motion
(02:01):
and men will just stare at this video for hours,
just completely awestruck by McCarthy's tight spiral. Look at McCarthy
hitting Jefferson out of that break. Look at McCarthy's tight
(02:22):
spiral and footwork. Look the way he commands the ovimense
and moves around on the practice field. You can see
how just players respect him and listen to him and
want the best for him. One hundred participation in Minnesota
Vikings camp. It's the Jaj McCarthy effect. We are in
(02:45):
the drooling over jj McCarthy spot in Minnesota Vikings zausts
and activities, and it's going to be fascinating to see
how McCarthy progresses through training camp and in particularly Week
(03:08):
one of the NFL season, because McCarthy is in a
situation unlike any other first year starting quarterback ever, really
in NFL history, because he is walking into a super
Bowl roster with the best receiver in the NFL, with
(03:33):
arguably the best wide receiver two in the NFL, a
top five tight end, the best Vikings offensive line in
fifteen twenty years, a solid one two punch in the
(03:54):
backfield with Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, an offensive my
head coach, and a defense that added to areas that
were in desperate need. So we are going to know
(04:15):
really really quickly if McCarthy can play, if McCarthy has
what it takes in the NFL. And what that's going
to mean is opinions are going to come quick on McCarthy.
They already do unrookie quarterbacks. People are already so quick
(04:38):
to label a rookie quarterback in week one or week
two as the franchise guy or not even on a
team like the Carolina Panthers aka Bryce Young. But McCarthy
is in the greatest position any quarterback, first year starting
(05:01):
or not, could ever be in the NFL. There really
are no excuses for McCarthy entering his rookie season, and
you look at what we can expect from the guy,
and it's fair to expect hiccups here and there, but
there are no reasons why he should not be performing
at a high level almost immediately. So yeah, we are
(05:25):
in the drooling over jj McCarthy stage because look at
this spiral. Okay, this was posted the other day. Look
at McCarthy's spiral. Wrong video. McCarthy's spiral was posted on
X the other day, and I'm not gonna lie. I
(05:45):
was kind of coy watching it a few times because
it was tight and it was nice. Look at this.
I'll look at that type spiral right there, right in
the hands of Jordan Addison, right between the numbers. Let's
watch it again. Let's watch it again, Ornette Addison catch macarthy.
Oh that's oh yeah. I feel like a conversation with
(06:13):
Minnesota Vikings fans and their wives are happening right now. Honey,
let's go to bed. I'll let you do anything you
want to be in bed. All of your dreams are
gonna come true. Honey. I already told you I'm watching
Jason McCarthy's spiral tonight. You need to relax and chill out. Honey,
(06:34):
McCarthy's spiral. Honey McCarthy's spiral. I think that's the conversation
that's happening with my Minnesota Vikings fans and their wives.
Following the release of McCarthy's video, one of the Vikings
defensive tackles. Harrison's Phillips, who played for the Bills alongside
(06:54):
Josh Allen, compared his arm to Josh Allen said he
looks like Josh Allen out there. Of course he does. Well,
it's never a bad comparison to compare your first year
starting quarterback to one of the best NFL quarterbacks of
this generation. So that's exciting stuff. All right. That's the
(07:16):
Jajon McCarthy story. Quick story on Anthony Richardson. He has
a shoulder injury, will come back at some point in
training camp. According to their head coach, Shane Steichen. That's
(07:37):
why the Daniel Jones picked the Indianapolis Colts. No more
evidence is needed. Daniel Jones picked the Colts because he
is a lock to start at some point in the
twenty twenty five NFL season. All right, let's dive into
the transgender in sports. Story was written on OutKick dot
(08:02):
Com by Amber Harding, and it says this after a
dramatic walkoff win and Wednesday's semi final. The Champlain Park
Rebels are headed to the Minnesota High school girls softball
state championship, and so is their transgender pitcher, Marissa Rothenberger.
(08:24):
After giving up two early runs and a shaky star,
Rothenberger settled and then pitched a complete game to help
number two seeded Champlain Park edge pass number six White
beer Like three to two in the Class four A
state semifinals. Rothenberger gave up seven hits and two runs,
one earned, and struck out three in the effort, but
it was Berger's hitting that really sparked the comeback. The
(08:46):
junior let off the fifth inning with a double that
began Champlain Park's rally to tie the game at to
a piece. Then, in the bottom of the seventh of Rothenberger,
who went two for three at the plate, opened the
inning with another double. Rothenberger was replaced by a courtesy runner,
who eventually scored the game winning run on a two
out walkoff hit from junior outfielder a va Print. Champlain
(09:07):
Park will phase number four seeded Bloomington Jefferson in the
championship game on Friday at the University of Minnesota's Jane
Sage Kallis Stadium Jefferson upset top set to Force Lake
earlier Wednesday. But while Champlain Park celebrated its walkoff, when
the scene in the white bear like dugout was far different.
Many of the girls were visibly emotional, summon tears as
(09:28):
the reality of the season ending lost it in. One
player turned to her father and asked, why can't you
do something. No parents were willing to go on record,
but Alcook spoke with two white bear like dads in
the stands who expressed deep frustration with the system that
allowed their daughters to compete against a male athlete, namely
the Democratic politicians who prioritize idology over fairness. You're looking
(09:53):
at a whole team of future Republicans, one man said.
Another dead agreed, saying this might be an eye opening
experience for the parents. They're like, Oh, they're crushing my
dad's dreams. Maybe I made the wrong choices. Despite President
Trump's executive order, the Minnesota State High School League allows
student athletes to compete in events consistent with their gender identity,
(10:16):
regardless of biological sex. MSHSL said the eligibility of transgender
student athletes is determined by state law. Through the Minnesota
Human Rights Act and the Minnesota Constitution. Despite national governing
bodies like usasoptpall in the NCAA instituting female only eligibility,
policies such as state level laws create enforcement loopholes that
(10:41):
leave parents and female athletes feeling helpless, and today in
North man Cato, Minnesota, the helplessness was written all over
the faces of white Bear Lake players. As one girl
walked off the field, her father met her behind the dugout.
That's not fair, she said, that's Minnesota, he replied. A
few things. The first thing that stands out to me
(11:02):
in the Outcook story, it says no white bear Like
dads were willing to go on record. No one wants
to go on to record for a story like this
because no one wants to be seen as homophobic. No
one wants to put their neck out there and say, hey,
this is wrong and I'm going to attach my name
to it, because they don't want to risk the possibility
(11:26):
of losing their careers or jobs because they made a
statement that said a transgender player playing on my playing
on a women's softball team is unfair. Isn't that crazy?
Isn't that crazy? Where the world has gotten. Isn't that
(11:48):
crazy that people are now afraid to attach their name
to a story that says it is unfair that a
man is playing on a girls softball team and dominating.
And another point, Marissa Rothenberger and this whole situation needs
(12:08):
prayer because as much as it looks like she's winning
and going to the softball championship with a chance to
win the state championship, she's lost. Sorry, he's lost. He
is lost in this world. And it might feel good
(12:32):
for him to win a softball championship or whatever, but
it can't feel good to be recognized. Across the United
States of America a top story on a ton of
different websites about being a man dominating a girls' sport.
(12:52):
So I don't know what his real name is, but
he needs prayer. His family needs prayer, So let's pray
for him. Dear Lord, would just pray for this man
that is playing in a woman's sport, is completely lost
(13:15):
by what society calls purpose, is completely lost by a
movement that really draws people away from you. It's a Lord,
I just pray that you'd put people in his life somehow,
You would have some sort of impact in his life
so that he could turn away from his ways and
come back to you. We pray these things in your name, Amen,
(13:37):
and a few more things. He's a pitcher. He's not
a first basement shortstop, saying that easily translates from a
guy sport to a girls sport. To be a pitcher
in softball fast pitch requires a ton of practice and
(14:01):
reps because it is not.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
A natural motion for someone to whip their arm around
in a circle and deliver that ball within a small
strike zone, and to do it in a dominating fashion.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Because he has pitched four straight games and Dustin Grage
is a columnist at townhall dot com, the political analyst
and researcher. He does a lot of Minnesota stuff, and
he sent out a tweet on acts. He says, according
(14:42):
to the Minnesota State High School League, boys baseball has
strict limits on how many innings a pitcher can throw.
Girls softball zero restrictions, So a biological male can pitch
thirty five straight innings on the way to a state
title against girls. Boys in baseball cannot pitch unlimited innings.
(15:04):
Girls in softball can. And he has now dominated this
state run and they're in the championship, so he needs prayer.
Number one. Number two the amount of practice that he
had to be doing for years to get this good,
(15:29):
which tells me he's been lost for a long time.
This wasn't just a hey, I'm gonna wake up and
I feel like a girl today. This has been going
on for years because in order to be this good,
it requires so much repetition and practice. And now he's
in state championship game. And number three, the parents of
(15:52):
White Bear Lake are devastated. The girls are devastated. They
don't want to attach their name to the story, which
is fair, but it just shows you the society and
culture that we live in that they don't want to
that they could lose their jobs or be called homophobic
for stating the obvious that it's unfair for a boy
(16:14):
to be playing in a girls' sport, and we're seeing
it across the country in state championships. The head coach
for Champlain Park Softball also holds responsibility for this situation because, Okay,
maybe you can't stop him from being a part of
(16:35):
the team, or you'll be called homophobic or fired or
whatever the case may be, but you certainly could stop
him from pitching four straight games, or pitching at all.
He could be in the dugout, be a little souvenir
to your softball team. You don't have to put them
in the game. So as much as we want to
(17:00):
point the finger at the player, I think the head
coach of the Champlain Parks softball team deserves some criticism
because who's responsible for her filling out the lineup card?
He sees nothing wrong with it. If his girl was
playing on the other team, would he put in a
guy to dominate her over and over and over again?
The absolutely not is the right answer. So it's really
(17:24):
a sad story and a sad store from a ton
of different angles, from the player, from the coach, from
the opposing teams, and now they're in the championship game.
So it's really unfortunate from every side. All right, thank
