Speaker 1 (00:00):
What have you asked two different people the same set
of questions? Even if the questions are the same, our
experiences can lead us to drastically different answers. We've grown
up in different times, in different places, with different hopes
and dreams. But what if there are some answers, some
stories that tie us together across these differences. I'm Mini

(00:22):
Driver and I set out to explore this idea in
my podcast, Mini Questions. I ask every guest the same
set of seven questions, questions about what brings them joy,
what caused them to change course, what is still a
mystery to them, and where they find comfort. Over the years,
we have had some incredible guests, people like Courtney Cox,

(00:44):
star of the infinitely beloved sitcom Friends, Musical Icon Debbie Harry,
Egot winner and Extraordinary Talent Viler Davis, and former Prime
Minister of the UK Tony Blair. And now Mini Questions
is returning for another season. We've asked an entirely new
set of guests. Are seven questions, including from Glee, Only

(01:08):
Murders in the Building and my favorite best in show
Jane Lynch. For me, it's always been getting into relationships
and going to stay back let the winds of heaven
dance between us. You're super hot, but let the winds
of having dancer. I'm going to be in my art
studio thinking about you. In fact, I'm going to be levitating.

(01:29):
I'm going to be hovering. But don't knock on my door. Comedians,
social media whiz and creator of the brilliant character absolutely
insufferable female lead in an indie movie, Delaney Row. It
is my last meal. Two bottles of wine and a
pack of cigarettes one hundred percent magenta for green cigarettes.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
What is your drink?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I love beer, Okay, cool girl beer. I also love
cheap girl.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
No way a minute. That's sexy.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
I love think you're saying that it's sexy and it's
go one. Never in a million years quit sexy. It's
little maintenance.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
She's like down. I love that.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
And the incomparable brilliant Oscar winning writer director of American
fiction called Jefferson.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
That is a speech that I wish I would have
given myself about my mother. And my mother died not
knowing the fullness of me. There was stuff that I
kept from her. It made me so sad that I
hadn't done the work to let her see me at
my best to allow her to see me at a
time when I feel like I've finally become the person

(02:34):
that I've been trying to be my whole life.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
And there are many, many more. Each episode is a
new person story with new lessons, new memories, and new
connections to show us how we're both similar and unique.
